I want to bring to your attention a concerning issue that occurred during our visit to PVR Cinema near Amritsar Bus Stand on Friday, November 29th, 2024.

My friends and I had booked four tickets for the 9:30 PM show of Bhool Bhulaiyaa.At the counter, we interacted with Akashdeep Singh (Cashier ID: BOPOS03),

who informed us that the total cost for four tickets would be Rs.800. He also offered us an additional package, stating that for ₹180 more, we would receive a ₹600 food voucher along with dairy chocolates worth ₹180.

We agreed to this and paid ₹980 as the final amount

This incident has left us feeling misled and disappointed with the service. We expect transparency and honesty from a reputed establishment like PVR.

However, upon reviewing the bill later, we noticed discrepancies:

The ticket cost was only Rs79.12 per ticket, totaling Rs316.48 for four tickets.
The cashier misrepresented the ticket cost as Rs200 per person.
He sold us the food voucher and chocolates without clearly informing us or obtaining our explicit consent.
This is outright deceit, and I feel completely cheated. This kind of practice is not just unethical; it’s unacceptable for a reputed brand like PVR.

I demand an immediate explanation and If this issue is not resolved promptly, I will have no choice but to escalate this matter to consumer protection authorities and share my experience publicly
Additionally,
i have paid Rs.980 but they gave me an invoice for only Rs. 796.

If I do not receive a positive response from your side in this week, I will be compelled to approach the consumer court for resolution

I am trying to book a ticket from pvr application/website. After applying error message showing 0003...

I booked 4 tickets for the Movie "Kalki" on 15th July 11 am to 2:45 pm show on the PVR Mobile Application, but immediately after booking I had cancelled it as there was a date clash from my side. I contacted your customer care immediately and was told that I would be refunded for the same within 9 to 10 days. This cycle has happened over 4 times now and I still get the blatant we will get back to you and call on hold or An empty promise of refund within 3 to 4 days, but it seems like for pvr the entire year is just a single whole big day!

PVR debited the money twice for the same tickets.
I have proof since it was UPI.
Customer care asked for my contact details I provided the details it has been almost a month now no action has been taken.

We book the ticket full movie on 17 February when we reached the theatre they said that the air conditioner was not working and the ticket will be refunded if we provide our details to them. We said okay and left they said it would be refunded in 7 working days it been a month and still there is be no response from PVR or the theatre. The amount of 630 is to be refunded as it is mentioned in the tickets but the customers care department is not answering our calls at all.

I booked a ticket from PVR application and amount got deducted from my bank account 737 and its still not refunded even after sending multiple emails and chats registered mobile number for application is [protected]

I went to PVR counter to buy ticket.The priced showed online was 150 but i could not book online so I went to the counter but they told me the price was 300 which includes food coupon.I refused but they forced me.Then I went to food counter but there was nothing costing 150 so i had to but 300 rs combo with 150 discount.This is not done.How can u force us to buy food....

According the given information it was not mentioned that the offer is not applicable on festival days though it is a weekday, here in Irrum Manzil PVR they were refusing to provide the offer today i.e.[protected] Monday.
I hereby register the complaint on the same....

Ref to pvr order id b584694 dated 24.12.23 screen 2 classic seat no k3 to k9 (7 seats) of 22:00 hrs, i was supposed to book tickets online, but since to save the convenience fee i went to the counter and asked for 7 tkts, but on the counter i was asked to pay rs 400 extra to get the food coupons (cvp4npzir, cvplvhf9s, cvpv25tqy, cvp798a5y, cvpnb3sdp, cvplc74ot, cvpy5xwkr.) otherwise no tickets will be issued . Generally a person takes dinner at home & go for a night shows, enjoys the movie and come back . After lots of argument i didnt want to disappoint my family my friends with no other option left i booked the tickets paying rs 3290.00 ( 470 x 7 tkts) . During the ineterval when my kids went to encash the coupons for popcorns and all, they asked for an empty bucket of popcorn so that we can share easily sitting in a same row, they were asked to pay rs 550.00 for the empty bucket . This is simply ridiculous .
I had a very bad experience this time and want the this force sell of food coupons should be banned at all.
I request for the full refund . Please look into the matter.

The cheating of pvr cinema hall staffs in the name of law..I with my family went for salar movie at pvr mall rourkela in forum mall but one of my daughter below 18 was with us.because of mass booking of 5 persons I could not cancel it because of argument with pvr staffs. tickets already paid in online we requested them that my daughter and another person with her will go for another movie in same pvr with same ticket. they agreed and requested another three persons to go inside for salar movie and promised to arrange tickets the rest of two for dunkey movie in same pric
Is is justified that in the name of law a company can cheat consumers.i with family went for salar movie but due to below 18 the pvr staffs refused her entry after some argument they agreed to give two tickets on same price for duckey movie in the same pvr hall.
.After our entry for salar they refused to give another tickets for them and pressed them to purchase another tickets.think if they wouldn't, have money then they had to wait in outside for 3 hours.the pvr staffs are inhuman in nature and utilizing themselves for blackmarketing with the imotions of consumers.why will pay 520 for same pvr in the name of law with unjustified in nature.if purchase some items in the mall a company can not refuse to exchange it because a person already paid for a item can not pay again for the same company .the same rule will applicable in this case

I gotta be honest about my recent cinema experience. It was a total letdown. First of all, the staff seemed completely untrained and clueless. No one had any idea what they were doing, and it was so frustrating. The guy at the ice cream counter was the worst. He had this attitude like he didn't even want to be there. When I went to buy ice cream after getting bhel, he had the audacity to question if I had paid for the bhel. I mean, seriously? I had already paid, and he acted like I was trying to steal from him. It was so rude and unnecessary.

Even after i told him that i had paid for the bhel he was like step aside for a moment. And he went to that bhel guy and asked him if i paid.. like come on are we beggers ? Or are was gonna steal anything ?

This is a serious matter from my side so respond as soon as possible. I really hope the cinema management takes note of these problems and makes some serious changes. Customers deserve better than this. I won't be going back anytime soon unless I hear that things have improved.

Today when I went for a movie 12th fail in the morning 10 am show. I was asking for a prime last row seat and the lady in the counter asked for a good amount of money. When I asked, why the price is so high. She simply said, sir, there is a food voucher included in it. She didn’t even bothered to ask me once before adding the voucher.

When I refused to take voucher she asked me to pay a lesser amount and I was a little bit late so I paid and went for the movie.

The moment I got msg with ticket details. I was shocked that the lady has sold me a prime plus seat whereas I was asking her for a prime seat.

I have booked a ticket along with snacks for the movie "Mark Antony" in S2 Cinemas, Perambur, Chennai through S2 app on 15th Sep'2023 for evening show @7.25 PM for a total amount of Rs. 516.74 and paid it through Gyftr coupon for Rs. 500 and the balance Rs. 16.74 paid through UPI transaction.

Later around 6:45 PM, I received a call from PVR by mentioning that the show was cancelled due to technical issue (AC Repair) and informed that i will get the refund which paid through UPI transaction and the voucher can be redeemed in future.

But till now, i did not receive the refund paid through UPI transaction and unable to use the voucher.

On 19th Sep'2023, i filed a complaint with Gyftr for this and i received a call from customer service and mentioned that it needs to be resolved with PVR.

What is the status and when i can expect the refund?

Hi, I had booked a ticket and also placed order for food on the PVR app and payed for both using UPI but didn't not receive either. The money was debited and there was no response from the customer care team when I emailed them.

We were watching the movie in pvr cinemas screen colour changed to red and we complaint to operator and show stoped and second time also same problem occurred

I lost my earpods in pvr cinemas

PVR is charging 320 for medium size pepsi at Bengaluru. This is exorbitant price, and it needs to be looked at. This is just a white collar crime and needs to be addressed by government as well...

On 28th July 2023 I booked tickets from PVR app
My money got deducted no tickets were booked .

Family pass was purchased on 21st July 2023 and promo code was showing as Invalid. As no resolution was provided on 22nd July 2023 I had to book new ticket and F&B for Oppenheimer 1:50pm show at Celebrations, Udaipur. After multiple reminders over email and whatsapp no refund has been initiated till now

I booked tickets through pvr aap, didn't get message, so when I contacted customer support for cancellation they didn't respond to my query Such a pathetic experience

I have booked tickets for movie "openhammer". my amouth has been deducted but i have not received the confirmation tickets yet.

I had purchased a popcorn combo, redbull and one more drink.

I had asked for the bill at the counter twice. The guy at the counter said that I will be given the bill with my order on my seat, but even when the order was given he did not give me the bill.
According the policy providing a bill to the consumer is necessary.
Also canned drinks are sold at MRP but the charges were more for the redbull and other can.
I request you to please look into the matter as soon as possible.

I have booked ticket for 9 seats for Adipurush for Sun 18th for PVR grand Highstreet, Hinjewadi, Pune. But amount is debited, and no tickets are booked and confirmed. I need to know on the booking status.

I Visited PVR At Sahu, Hazratganj, Lucknow. I Did Not Book The Tickets Online And Decided To Buy Physical Tickets. The Ticket For The Show Was For Rs 130 Per Person. I Was Sold The Same For 230. They Forcefully Added Some Snacks Which I Did Not Consent For. I Told Them That I Just Need The Ticket And Not The Snacks, But They Said That Of I Want To Watch The Movie I Will Have To Pay For The Snacks As Well. Moreover, The Popcorn Were Extremely Overpriced. They Are Clearly Selling People Snacks Forcefully And Charging Them For The Same. Its Against My Rights As A Consumer. This Incident Took Place On 9-06-23. I Would Like To Raise A Complaint Regarding The Same.

Money for snack rs. 419 deducted twice

Not yet received the previledge points ...i booked a movie on 7th may...still not received any points...need immediate action on this

I have doubt that they allowing minor kids in A rated movies in PVR RANCHI
