Late product delivery
I have paid my bill for washing machine and fridge on[protected]. The dispatch of my orders has not been till now. Please check the date of delivery as I need to shift on 1st of August.

Deposit is not refunded
I had returned 2 items that is table and chair and till date I haven't received any deposit money. When asked they give some random calculations each time it's different and Informed me that it's adjusted where I had already paid it. Today somebody called me and Informed that the deposit is in Rentomoney and every month its been used to pay active order's rent where again I have been paying from my hand. I have taken the screenshot of bank statement where I have been paying and sent to the team for resolution but no response. This is complete scam and fraudulent. These kind of busy should be closed.

A payment of Rs 2298 was credited on 24 Jul 22 to them for renting a fridge and washing machine. However even after 3days, no delivery schedule has been planned by them, neither is their customer care responding.

My name is Robin, i was purchased a product from Rentomojo in 2019
at that time the rentomojo sales man very successfully cheated me he said me that "you only pay the EMI in 1 year after One year the product will be you own and the security amount 1555/- will be refunded"
But now also am paying money as a Rent (per month 777/-)
The actual cost of that product was only 12000/-
But i paid around 30855/- as rent (40 months), they are asking more rent until my death
In this situation, how many years more do I need to pay rent????
Kindly take the necessary action against them, they are money looters

Excessive charging

I rented for 3 months but closed subscription after 1 month as I had no usage. My app showed no further pending, screenshot attached.
I had already cleared 1 month cost but they charged whole of my deposit as fine which is more than 2 months rent which was my original subscription of 3 months but additionally they are asking me pay another 1 month cost which means more than 4 months for 1 month usage.

They are not taking their furniture back.not responding to calls. I have to move to a different city.and im stuck with their furniture here.their customer service you cant contact.there is no way to contact rentomojo.

There is no way you should be renting from rentomojo. They turn your life into hell the moment you book furniture. It's a scam
They charge you when you order and most things turn out of stock afterwards. This is a lame tactic to attract customers. Because customers always want to get all that they need in one platform. One wouldn't want to pay different companies right. But all they do is put the things out of stock. That too after 6 days of booking and paying for the items. In my case I needed my 7 items asap for guests. After 3 days, more things went out of stock. And cherry on top, I asked their employee to delete an item from my list as I had paired it with the thing that is out of stock now. So, he deleted another item, that I needed. In the end I was left with 2 items that reached me after 15 days. Luckily my guests has rescheduled too. Their employees don't understand simple English this is very clear. And you have to spend hours to make their employees understand your situation. And they are just appealing customers by showing things in stock while they don’t. worst part is that after 6 days of you ordering, when they say it's out of stock, and you ask them why? Because when you booked it was in stock, they never answer the why. They say that the website is showing out of stock now. They never admit their mistake. I mean why do I care if the website shows out of stock now. when I paid for it, it was in stock. But they highly lack common sense.
Delivery was hell. And so was pickup. The 2 items I ordered were rubbed and scrubbed too.
Worst part is when they charge you extra without informing you. Because my guest, who was my grandfather passed away 7 days after the items came to me. After the month was complete, I thought of sending it all away. I asked them to close my subscription. First I never recieved any message for when it was scheduled for. Second, the app showed me a later date of pickup. But still their pickup person called me days before and said that pickup is today. The moment I told him that the app shows another date, he asked me to reschedule it. Even after constantly telling him that the app already shows another date, he forced me to message him that I want to reschedule. After my items were picked up, they changed the amount I had to pay. They charged me extra money without my knowledge saying that the logistics team don't inform customers that rescheduling will charge money. Despite telling them that logistics is also a part of rentomojo and they should have told me that I will be charged. They again disagreed to admit their fault and said it's in the terms and conditions, you should read it. We are not responsible to inform you. They are just there to scam you. Now i have to pay them a 1000 rs extra rent for their fault. It was so obvious that I did not need the items and that I had no stake in rescheduling. They've just made things more difficult for me.
It's not a good company. Pls don't order from them. And if we have more victims around, make sure you put up your negative reviews everywhere with all different accounts. This company ought not to exist in market after scamming so much. If I had enough power, I personally would have sued the company.

Rentomojo are cheats. I rented a smart tv at a higher cost than a regular tv in November 2021. My rented smart tv only has YouTube & Netflix. The browser hangs if I try to download any OTT. Increased early closure charges
When i ordered early closure charges was 0.5 months rent

No show of stuff ordered after 7 days of booking

On 18th April, 2022 I had ordered a bed and mattress from RentOMojo, to be delivered on 21st April 2022.
I receive a call on 21st from Swapnil that delivery won't be possible as their truck hasn't turned up. So the next delivery date was agreed as 25/4/22.
I again receive call from Swapnil that my address is incorrect and hence delivery is not possible. I categorically told him I have given correct address and not sure why completely different address was given to delivery person. Ihad a chat with customer care person to rectify address and have the stuff delivered on 25th itself as I had taken leave for this purpose. It fell into deaf ear and no delivery happened. I request for order cancellation and refund. Sent mail to that effect as well to which Mr Sayeed reverted my stuff will be delivered on 26th.
Swapnil calls on 26th and I explain that since I was in office and there's no one home the delivery needs to happen after 8pm. He refused. But agreed that delivery will happen on 27th April before 8:30 am.
Come 27th there's a no show. I start calling Swapnil and he doesn't answer. I called 10 times between 8:30 am-9:00 am. No response. At 9:10 a guy calls stating he's the driver and was coming to deliver in another hour or so as there's traffic on road. I told him since the delivery had to happen at 8:30 he should have started earlier. To which he had the audacity to tell me that 15-20 mins delay is normal and there's heavy traffic on top of that. I tell him to go back since I was already on my way to office. He says somebody should be there at home to receive stuff!! I lose my cool and inform him that he was assuming things and acting as per his whims and fancy ( there's nobody home after 9am I tell him).
I would like to know what is going to be the compensation for this incompetency and harrasment. I am forced to sleep on floor as I have recently shifted from another city (the reason I booked the bed in the first place).
I NEED IMMEDIATE REFUND PLUS COMPENSATION. IF required I will logde police complaint and go to consumer forum. This is kind of fraud and cheating consumers.

After being so much fed up with the planning and coordination of rentomojo requests, I decided to close 7 items. Without my consent, they adjusted my deposit amount as per their charges.
Now they are request more amount against the rent. I am looking for complete refund of the deposit amount from this company....

Worst Defective Matress after using for a 2 months it started to give me back aches and when returned they took the advance paid and also rent, and also charged due for the next month which is unnaceptable when they are providing defective spring mattress for high rental

Horrible products bad and rude customer chat support

They have lot of hidden charges and their customer support is very rude. I have screenshots of the chats. They will not pick up furniture on time and charge u rent for the delayed pickup dates. Product qualities are bad too..i have fridge washing machine sofa, 2 bed and mattress. I m stuck with them with their terrible quality product because of the heavy hidden charges

We had asked for AC from Renmojo in February 2022. The AC provided had no gas in it. The installation person fitted the AC in improper way. and had blocked the AC vent. Even after following with Renmojo for more than 15 days, no action was taken.

I am not getting my refund. And it's being one month now that rentomojo is making me fool by saying that refund is done.
And every time I ask them for refund, they reply with refund initiated and if I tell that I didnot receive then they will tell me to wait for 24 to 48 hrs. And it is continuing from past one month.

Furniture not delivered
There’s no update from the app and company wrt to the scheduling of delivery and there’s no customer support to communicate or coordinate plus the chat is useless no one responds

Had a very bitter experience ordering from rentomojo. Could be there one of an accident but was really terrible experience for me.
I ordered a 3 seater sofa on the 15th of Dec'2021 (Wednesday). I was told, the delivery would take 48-72hrs, So I expecting it latest by Friday. I get a call on Saturday, saying the order is delayed & that i would recieve it only on Monday. I was pissed about the delay. But still told them to deliver...

Increased my tenure widout my concern

I subscribed for 12 months cross trainer, when my subscription was about to end I thot to check my app for any payments remaining and about my refund...it automatically showed that the tenure is for 18 months and you have to pay early closure charges unnecessarily which I have never subscribed...what kind of fooling people these guys are doing ..I don't understand...just duping...our hard earned money...

I had rented a table and chair from them for 14. & 13 months respectively. I knew that the commitment is about to end so I went to the app and raised a query stating please share the end date of subscription and I would like to end it now so that no extra charges are levied.

Rentomojo not giving my Refund

Since the 1st week of November I have been following up for my refund of Rs.1770/- but all my attempts have failed as Rentomojo is clearly not ready to give it back.
Everytime I speak to a new Customer care executive they tell me a new story and surprisingly no one is aware of my past conversations with others. I really need help for an action to be taken against them as I do not want others to go through this pain.

I had order a table and it was delivered yesterday. When i opened the draw there was a half eaten chewing gum with insects all over it. In this COVID times, isn’t it their duty to do basic santitization? Is this the kind of product they deliver?

No refund, no pre closure wave off
Rentomojo is the most pathetic rental service I have come across.
I wanted to change a product. I was told that I have to select a different product pay the amount and the current product need to be ore -closed, there is a hefty pre closure amount taht will get waived off in 48 hours of pick up.
I have the payment last date of other rented products by 10th.
The product was picked up on 4th and it's been 4 days and no waive off charge. In addition I am getting emails that if I don't clear the amount I will be charged 10% extra as late charges.
I have contacted them like 100 times one emails on chats and calls.
Nobody is responsive on any communication.
I will not clear the amount unless they not wave off the charges.

I had placed two orders and it was specifically mentioned that the orders would be delivered by 2nd October 2021.
There was no intimation and I have constantly tried reaching to the numbers available on the website. But there was still no response. Finally somebody from logistics spoke in the morning and told me a few items are out of stock. This is shocking because the auto response was that my order was successfully placed and confirmed. This was the stand till today morning. I had also made all the payments. When I am shifting houses and I suddenly get this kind of a response, it is despicable at the least.
The logistics person somehow mentioned the remaining items would be delivered on 3rd October 2021, Sunday, contrary to the earlier assurance and that you guys won't deliver on 2nd October. But this was merely oral. Till now, the status has not changed and I don't know when the delivery of the remaining items, which are supposedly in stock, is going to take place. And of course, there is no response .
I have been constantly trying to call and speak with the customer care representatives but there's absolutely no concrete answer and the behaviour is extremely casual and irresponsible. The logistics and customer care representatives keep telling the other one can answer.
If the products weren't in stock, they should have never accepted my order or the payments. They didn't even bother to inform and I have been constantly trying to reach out.
I am left with nothing right now even though I had placed orders for everything on time and following all procedures. At this belated hour, I will have nothing in the house even though I have already paid for everything and have no time to arrange for alternatives.
After these events, I came to know that Rentomojo is habitually fraudulent and often causes harassment to people. There are issues with payments and refunds as well.
This calls for a serious legal action which should be initiated for the damage caused including the mental harassment.

Rentomojo refused to give me a 2 year rental price, despite advertising as such on their website. They also deducted 90% of my deposit amount without giving a valid reason. They also mislead, misinform and misrepresent facts in order to extort money. They tried to sell a matress worth Rs.11k to me for 20k, including the rent I had paid for two years. This company should be investigated into, it has so many bad reviews all over the internet.

I applied for Rentomojo subscription ion July 25 paying 3341.
They fixed it after 3 day.
They dint provide any information dat only 3 mtr pipe will free if it’s more then that I need to pay 3000 for the pipe.
And I cancelled my subscription on 16 th
They gave me date for 20th but it was cancelled.
Then they charged me 3399 where the rent was only 853.
And today is 22th sep no information when are they coming to pick.
I got transferred to ccu I’ll be leaving chennai on 26th. I[censored] want ur product back please collect it on 26th.
I am very upset with the experience.
