I hired an auto rickshaw, gj 6 0703 (Jp 245) from atladara to vadodara railway station. The auto driver was rude and unprofessional. He unnecessarily took a longer route in the pretext of shorter road being closed. During the entire ride he was talking on phone. Today on 25 Sep2018 I took a rickshaw no MH 03 BA 7403 from Mulund Colony to Neelam Nagar Mulund east which I take many times. The average fare comes to 45_50 rupees but this rickshaw meter was rigged or fast because the meter showed fare of 76 rupees. I live in mumbai in santacruz east, five days back 20 rickshaw's refuse to ferry from santacruz west to the east... I had gone to pick up my nephew from the school at 5:30 pm and waited for half an hour to get a rickshaw... As they serve as a public transport they have no rights to refuse the passenger... Please heed into this matter and take firm steps for the inconvenience cause to the public... Thank you...

rickshaw overcharging

I took this auto from dmart (Mulund west) to mulund east (Saneguruji marg) on 10th aug.
The total distance is approximately 4kms.
While going from east to dmart i payed 57 rs... While returning this rickshaw wala charged me 84₹... Total 6.5+ kms.
I kept telling him in between aapka meter charge jyada bata raha... But he was being very rude to me... I want strict action against...

left bag with valuables in auto rickshaw in malad goregaon mumbai

In Vadodara, one of the means of public transport is Rickshaw. All rickshaws run on meter. But there are some rickshaw driver who give 'Fixed Price' . I want to lodge a complaint against a rickshw driver.

Excess fare demanded by rickshaw driver

Excess fare charged by rickshaw driver (vehicle number # MH04 AR 9963) at Mulund Check Naka (W). I traveled from interior Thane upt Check Naka. The meter reading showed 7.3, however, the driver asked for Rs 105. I could immediately cross check as carrying fare card. After I asked him to show the card, he said that the fare was Rs 94. On checking, I saw that the correct fare was Rs 93.

increased auto fares in mumbai

There has been an unreasonable increase in the auto fares in Mumbai city from date 24 june, 2010. The auto fares have increased by 30% which is not justified. For 1km CNG rates have increased by 30 paise but auto fares are charging additional 1.5Rs. for every 1km. This hike in fares of auto rickshaws in mumbai is not at all justified against the increase in price of CNG. The public is going to be greatly affected by this decision of the Government....

Refusal of Rickshaw Drivers to Kopri & Mulund West Check Naka from Mithagar Road

The Rickshaw Drivers refuse to take passengers to Mulund East Kopri Check Naka & Mulund West Check Naka from Mithagar Road.

Its very difficult to catch hold of them & argue with them in the early morning while leaving for office.

They act so rude & humiliate at times. So its a urge & need to look into this matter & take stringent action against these rickshaw drivers.

Bad behaviour by Rickshaw driver

We went in for a special rick from ambernath east and told the destination to the driver. He asked for more money and we said you want more money .. ... He said either you pay or I will not go. We said we will not pay the extra money and he stopped rick at one corner and said am going to have snacks. We got down from the rick in heavy rainfall and started seeing other rick and saw that driver again coming back to his rick. What can be done...

Autorickshaw driver refusing to take passenger

Sir,
The driver of an autorickshaw in Ahmedabad (GJ-1-AZ 948) refused to travel from Bh. Civil Hospital Campus to Ahmedabad Railway Station.
I would like to know if the drivers have the right to refuse to go to places where passengers want to go.
If not, then the next query is, what action can be taken against such drivers.
I mean, if they refuse, what for are they driving a rickshaw?
