To notify you that irresponsible behavior of Branch manager of AZAD nagar branch in connection with clearing the cheque of 3.5 lac from my Citi bank account. I submitted the cheque no “ 59638” on 10 Nov in Aazd Nagar branch. Following are the details of the check which got cleared from my CITI Bank account on 20 Nov.

20/11/2010 INTERCITY CHEQUE NO.59638 PAID AT DEL - TO DAYA,CENTRAL BANK OF INDIA 3,50,000.00

But even after 17 days of transfer funds have not reached to My father’s account. This is insulting situation for us being the that in india Cheque clearing is taking 1 month of time…where as RBI guide lines says it should be with in 5 working days. The behavior of Branch manager was highly disappointing and not customer friendly. He is not able to provide the status of cheque. My father have visited the Bank 5 times in last 10 days and have completely exhausted with the professionally of this bank. We would like to say that we do not want any further business with your bank.


I concern you to many problem
1-manager (she) is uncivilized
2-He give not proper satisfaction to the customer
3-he is not supportive .
4-he is not realised her responsibilities
5-he is wasting customer time.
7-they are doing banking job their will
8-some employe have the time but they do not use their time in customer service


Can you please address this issue urgently and provide sufficient reasoning for delay.

    A cheque of central bank of india,moti tabela,indore (m.p.) was issued by me to some one for Rs. 10,00000/- and cheque was presented through other bank i.e.Axis Bank in PUNE by the beneficery,but due to some reason cheque was returned unpaid by Central Bank of India, Pune non banking office with the reason "insufficient Fund".on 27/10/2010 and bank has charged charges for cheque returned as under:-

    CHEQUE RETURNED CHARGES RS. 538.00
    SERVICE/CESS TAX RS. 67.00

    As per Bank"s circular the cheque returned charges of the bank is Rs. 130/- plus S.T.per instrument.
    Then how the bank has charged above charges. Please take up the matter with the concern bank and do the needful. I have already take up the matter with Bank's Management by sending various mails but still I am awaiting reply from the Bank.

      Central Bank of Indian — non delivery of pass book

      They are not deleivering pass book as i opened my account 02 month later i.e 15/11/2010 at Central Bank of india subhash chowk, near Minarwa Cinema, sonipat, Haryana
      bank manager is not delivering pass book as i opened account on 18/11/2010 at Central Bank Of india, Subhash Chowk, Sonipat, Haryana. After expire of lot of time they are not responding in better manner, this is not a banking manner who will deal in next manner.

            Dear Sir
            I have withdrwal Rs.1000/ from Atm but after getting statement from bank I was surprised that amoount was twiced debited from My saving A/c no.[protected] I have alredy complain to branch Manager Joppling Road branch. But after serval reminders and request they are not refunding Rs.1000/ after they promised verbaly that your a/c wrongly debited but have to received confirmation from ATM department Mumbai.
            I am very much frusted with services of Central bank.
            Please do somthing so that i can get my payments back.

                Hi,

                My husband has an education loan of INR 3,13,000 from Central Bank of India, Samastipur.
                He has been repaying the loan at 7000 per month since the last 3 yrs and still the amount due in passbook shows rs 2,82,000. How can it be possible?

                On looking into the passbook we found that the bank has been using the installment for just the principal repayment, till 3 months back. 3 months back they have suddenly added a lumpsum interest of 1,42,000 to the loan. Is it possible? As per my understanding, from the beinging of the loan payment itself, a certain part of repayment goes towards principle and other to interest. The way Central Bank has been deducting the loan repayments, the loan is never going to be repayed. Are we being cheated ? What action can we take in such a case? Please help us out. I am really surprised at the way these banks operate, feeling cheated and loosing my trust in such reputed organizations

                dec-2005..after My B tech completed..bank show i Have not given Instoalment by date 2007..how can possible..I have completed B tech 2009.And One year required time by Bank by searching job..Real Time Started my Instoalment june 2010. Please help us out. I am really surprised at the way these banks operate, feeling cheated and changing time of computer 2007 to change 2009.in such reputed organizations.

                    We Subhash Chandra Gupta (& Smt Shree Mohine Gupta - E/S) have a saving account No. [protected] in Central Bank of India, Dodhpur,Civil Lines, Aligarh.

                    Complaint:

                    On[protected] at 10 PM at M.I. Road, Jaipur ATM machine of C.B.I. we inserted ATM card at 10 PM and made required entries to get cash. ATM machine showed: TRANSACTION HAS BEEN PROCESSED, SERVER DOWN, TRANSACTION FAILED. Then after some time at 10-18 PM[protected] we reached to your other ATM machine at Tonk Road, Jaipur and withdrawn from there Rs.15,000 and after a few minute at 10-19 PM Rs.10,000/- were again drawn. Thus a total amount of Rs.25,000 was withdrawn from your ATM machine situated at Tonk Road, Jaipur on[protected].

                    On[protected] when we reached ATM for next withdrawl, we first obtained mini-statement, it showed withdrawl on[protected] Rs.10,000 and Rs.15,000, and there was shown again withdrawl of Rs.10,000 and Rs.15,000 in the same date, i.e. on[protected]

                    The withdrawl has been done on[protected] but mini-statement showed this transaction in the date of[protected].
                    You know that outside city other than account holder’s city, only Rs.25,000 can the withdrawn in a day, but it above mini-statement Rs.25000 + Rs.25,000 = Rs.50,000 amounts withdrawl are shown in a single date which is not possible.

                    The above facts definitely proves that there has been some computer server mistake which has caused extra debit of Rs.10,000 + Rs.15,000 = Rs.25,000 to my account without cash out.

                    Necessary correction may please be made for credit of above Rs.25,000 short balance in my account due to above server failure at the time of withdrawl.

                        Dear Sir / Madam,

                        I had taken bank guarantees from CBI, Seepz Branch for pay & park scheem. The bank guarantees expired on 22.5.10 I had submitted all the bank guarantees in original into bank for closer. The bank had closed the BG and returned my margin money with interest. The issue is that CBI not releasing my property documents kept for the security purpose when contacted bank they said that the branch is without a manager and they are not empower to release the documents. I dont understand a branch running for a month without manager. please advise how to take property document and no dues certificate.

                          Dear Sir

                          I have a saving bank account in Badarpur Branch of Central Bank of India.
                          On 06.08.10 I went to the said branch for withdrawal the cash but then I come to know that there is restriction in debit cash transaction in my bank account.
                          The branch officers even the branch Sr. Manager was not able to tell me that why such type of restriction have been imposed in my account. They was also not able to elemenat such restruction. However there is no problem in credit transaction.
                          PLEASE take necessary action to solve my problem. I will be highly obliged to you.

                            I am a customer of Central Bank of India, Nakkhas, Lucknow branch. I have joint account with my mother. My mother is very old and ill. I am married and live in Dehradun. Whenever I go to the bank the people talk to us as well as every customer very rudly, I went to bank recently because my mother's signature was not matched with there record our account is approximately 20 or more than yrs old. after showing identity also they said that u r frod and we are not going to show u ur signatures. we have two accounts with the bank and same problem they have with my account because I was very young when my mother opened the account so I forgot my exact signature, but after showing my I identity also they are not ready to show my signatures. we are desperately need money for the treatment of my Mother.

                            Kindly give me solution, hope for some positive response, I want to withdraw money from dehradun.

                            To an extent I agree to both of you bank employees are rude at times.
                            I think they are so much overworked and overloaded that they get frustrated and vent their anger out in public, which is surely not called for.
                            Why don’t they sit at home and cool their heels or join some other job as they are not able to handle the amount of pressure.
                            This is a service industry and one ought to be always smiling and ready to serve the customer or clients….
                            I too would like to complain against one Mr. Singh at SBI Ashok Marg, Branch, who had a showdown with me at a point of time over a petty issue…….

                              I am abhimanyu arora from jodhpur. Two days back i visited central bank of India jalori gate jodhpur(rajasthan) for submitting a cheque in favour of income tax department. But everytime i went there the staff misguided me and were not replying me for my query, such an irritatig staff i havnt seen in my life, i think the goverment should take some action to avoid these difficulties which customers are facing.

                                With respect, I am Archana Jain , I am holding a saving account (no. [protected]) in bank “Central Bank of India”, Nehru palace Jaipur.
                                I did deposit a cheque (no. 016305) of amount Rs. 25,000 dated 21st Dec 2009 on 5th Jan 2010. Because of I was pregnant, I couldn’t follow up bank about clearing of this cheque to my account. But I was in impression that bank will contact me in case of any problem. After my delivery when I did updated my passbook entries at bank, I found that above mentioned cheque was dishonoured because of difference in signature.
                                I did specify contact number behind the cheque and of course bank has my address information, but they never did inform about this. When we asked about this problem to bank person that why they didn’t contact us , they just said it’s not a Bank responsibility to inform about refund cheques.
                                This is really a very disappointment reply I ever get from a Bank. How come they can escape from this kind of rights of their customers.
                                I am requesting you to look into this matter, as this case is more than six months old , I am not sure how to deal with party , so that’s an another problem for me.

                                I am expecting a honest action from your side.

                                I am totally agree with the complain even I m also One of the customer of CBI, Nakkhas Brach, Lucknow. The attitute of people is so bad. they trat the customer as if they are baggers and they are king. Rude and very disappointing attitude

                                  Hello sir, I am swati gupta and a students of professional studies in Aligarh, and I applied for loan in Central bank of India Uday singh jain road branch aligarh, after completion of all the documental formalities for taking the loan and submit my application in this bank but after several rounds & requests in this bank, the officer of this central bank of India branch Mr.U.S.Bhardwaj told me you are not eligible to get loan and asked if you want to take loan then you meet me after 06.00pm and then he call us on a hotel near bus stand Aligarh for settlement of loan when i meet him he told for commission as documentation process fee about 20% when I refuse to do so then he kept me and asked if you do something for me then you can get loan, after this incidence I oppose him, but he threatened and misbehave with me and then when I try to do complaint of this bank officer for this act, then few local bad elements reach my house and threatened me as well as my parents.
                                  I need help and beg request to all my elders & colleagues, kindly help me because my carrier is badly affected due to misbehavior and harassment done this bank officer u.s.bhardwaj and I always live in fear due to this bank officer because he is a localities person of this area and having illegal connection with few loan recovery agents of this area and try to do anything with us.
                                  on my complaint a officer of the same area call me in his office with the proof, but he never assured about safety so
                                  In past other customers were also suffered due to this bank officers illegal activities and in this subject so many complaints lodged against this persons to his authorities but still nobody hear our complaint even when we contact to Agra zone then a Agra zone bank officer told us we have no power to take any action in such cases and you have to contact our head office but all is vain, and no action was taken even after our complaint he refuse to entertain us and also misplace our original documents.
                                  Once again we request to all of our elders and colleagues kindly help to put-up this case of the central bank of India authorities and forward to all & save us as well as others from this corrupt bank officer for which we shall be highly obliged .

                                  central bank — Fraud cases for loans

                                  Hello Sir ,
                                  The manager of Central Bank Dhar branch is corrupted ,he is giving loans on the basis of duplicate documents and the person who is helping him is Vikram (don't know full name ).Maximum loans which are provided by the manager in his time period is frauds and he is not following the rules to pass the loan .I request to check all the loans having correct documents or not which are passed in current manager session.The main source which is helping him is Vikram.

                                    On reconcillation with the bank , the amount withdrawn was mentioned as Rs 5000/- against the actual withdrawal amount Rs.2500/-.

                                    The matter was brought to the knowledge of the manager , central bank of india , tirunelveli branch in written on 11/02/2010. The manager assured me that the difference amount will be credited into my account with in a month .

                                    However i am very sorry to say that in spite of my personal visit to bank, till now, the amount is not credited in to my account.

                                    i am 69yrs old, being senior citizen , i humbly request you to take necessary steps to d the needful in this matter.

                                    I regret to inform for that neither I have received money nor any charge slip was issued from the ATM machine. Only dialogue shown was “ Requested Time Out”.

                                    Thereafter I rushed to nearest ATM of Central Bank of India, Jadavpur, Kolkata 700086 from where I have taken out a mini statement & was surprised to find that the above amount of Rs 11, 400 along with a transaction fee of Rs 20/- (on account of withdrawal from other ATM than Central Bank of India) has been debited form my CBI account No: [protected] of your branch.

                                    I would like to draw your attention towards the bad and disgusting services provided by the ATM card department of Central bank of India because of which students like me have to face lot of problems.

                                    On 8th october 2010 at around 2:56 PM i tried withdrawing cash of Rs.2000/- from SBI ATM located at 3S-service station ie MANIKBAUGH PETROL PUMP, PUNE using my central bank atm card.First I checked the balance before the withdrawl and it was Rs.16041/- [Time-14:56].Secondaly when i tried withdrawing the cash, a message "Sorry Unable to process" was displayed on the screen[Time-14:56].However when the third time i checked the balance, the account showed only a sum of Rs.14041/-[Time-14:58].

                                    I immediately wrote an application regarding this according to the norms told to me by the central bank authorities, STES EXT. COUNTER, Wadgaon(BK), Pune-41, where i have my account.I was told to wait for around 1 month (40 days).When no action was taken i re-appeared before them and again i was told to write an application and wait for 40 days.It was just too frustrating for me that I can't even explain.And the scene is that so many times i have visited them and they simply tell they can't do anything nor do they tell about anyone who can do something, and i have been waiting till now.

                                    I don't know really where to go or whom to ask for help.I sincerely request to please help me in this regard.

However bank staff were helpful and they fill complain form and told us may be credit will come in your account with in week. Still we have not received our money back total 15000 rs was deducted from account please take some necessary action for it or let us know if there is any more familiarity remain from our side.

                                      Regarding this issue,i have visited the branch just a 6 times but every time the bank staff said Mr. Mishra said that ur ATM card is not coming, but last time he have my ATM card but he can't give me the card due to overwork. he have no time to attend me.                                         Today I received my passbook after waiting for about 2 hours in the bank. I went there with my father. My father just asked the Accountant over there that in which way bank posted the letter? Through Registry post or ordinary post? and when the letter was posted?So that he can use this information to do a complain in the Post Office, as around two months have passed but we didn't received the letter till date.

                                        But he started shouting after hearing the word "COMPLAIN". Without understanding the query cleary he started shouting. I tried to explain him politely what my father wanted to ask because I felt that may be the way my father asked was not correct. But he was not ready to listen. He asked me to keep quite and just keep shouting. So, I also loose my control and I also shouted very badly.

                                        Sorry for this kind of behaviour Sir. I know I shouldn't have shouted inside bank but I was not able to see my retired father insulted in this way and I was in need of money which I couldn't withdrawn today. Without listening to the matter a lady there said that you received ur passbook, now go.

                                        He threatened that he will close my account and will not allow me to do any kind of transaction and he also said that he will complain to my school's Principal where I am working on part time basis.

                                        We know Sir, we people who are retired and are working on part time basis don't deserve respect from any people of society. But please Sir, tell me what was our fault? Is this was our fault that we ask whether the letter was posted through registry or ordinary post? Whether our fault was that that we said we will put a complain in post office that we haven't received the letter yet? or our fault is that that my father is retired and I am working on part time basis?

                                        I am extremely sorry Sir that I shouted in the bank. I know we should have met branch manager but we get so frustrated from the accountant that we left the bank.

                                        complaint against kamra casier muktsar branch, their behavior are very roud, he says i am all in bank so you can do anything,
                                        he is busy with own friend and not talk to me, when i said sir please sir pass my voucher, he says a mister wait some time or other wise you can go home his behavior is very bad.
