Hello sir,

This is in response to the question which occurred in kannada annual exam (Aisse)
Of class 10. The question asked for exam was 40% - 50% were out of syllabus ie., which was present in last year. We as soon as we received the question paper we were shocked and tensed. I rage my voice to get the grace marks of 25 even though they have not written the question number as we were perplexed or requesting a re-exam. Please i request the concerned authority to take immediate action and make sure we won't be distributed for our further exams...

Regards
H. R. Nischal raj

    Hello sir / mam
I recently wrote my 10th kannada exam in which i was shocked to see "out of syllabus" questions. I on behalf of all other students, would request you to grant us with the marks required as per the wrong questions and not to conduct re-exam as this is not right, and will be completely wrong if thy do so.. As.. There is no fault by the students. Kindly give us justice. Thank you

As our previous batch (2017) got the advantage of the moderation policy and our succeeding batch (2019) has only half the portions, it seems completely unfair to eliminate the moderation policy this year.
This will cause a major change from the preceeding batch’s scores and this year’s. The students who had given the same level of sweat and hardwork will get much lower marks and admission for higher studies will be very tough.
Portions are being reduced by 50% for the next year to reduce stress but this policy had created a much bigger stress for us.
This may cause major depression in students and can even be life threatening.
I request you to reconsider and reinstate the moderation policy for this year.

Compare to other two sets; set one was quite tough. Some of the questions from section c & d were not able to understand and somehow answered to those questions which not sure to be correct. Questions for 4 marks were time consuming, (Question no. 24, 25 & 28 of a. P, triangles and trigonometry). Pls. Take these points very seriously and expect some liberal valuation from your end.

On 7th march 2019, maths cbse class 10th exams were conducted. We got to know that there were three sets with totally different questions.
We want cbse to take strict actions in this exams and declare it as invalid because many students of class 10 are suffering because of different questions and the students who got set 3 are suffering the most.
Every parent is sad about the exams conducted by cbse and the students are unable to concentrate on their next examinations as this exam was their first board exams.
It is a humble request to cbse members to reconduct the exams

Yes all the parents and students are dissapointed. We never expected this from CBSE. All the hard work done has no meaning. A good student with set 3 and an average student with set 1, what a comparision... Just waiting to get justice.

Exams need to be fair to all students with same questions
(May be in a different serial order).
The disparity in the 3 sets of maths paper class 10 is very obvious.
              Set 3 was the toughest.
              Why this discrepancy?
Why should students with set 3 suffer alone?
Did cbse follow the international guidelines of paper setting in terms of easy, moderate or hard pattern for questions for set 3?
Cbse has to solve this issue by either
              1. Conducting a re-exam with same questions to all students... Similar to last year's pattern
              Or
              2. Minimum grace marks of 10+ to all students with set 3 paper
Cbse has a duty towards the students whose future depends on these scores
              Please be answerable

It is a humble request to cbse members to reconduct the exams of class 10th cbse board maths because it is unfair to give the students different questions in each set. By this kind of act, cbse has broken the spirit of examinations and right to equality among students.
The only solution to this chaos is re-examinations. There is no other way to resolve this issue nationwide, many are already complaining about the mistake of exams.
If grace marks are provided then it will lead to more chaos as it will only increase discrimination among the three sets. Also, easy evaluation of answer sheets are not an ideal criteria.
I've read many of the complaints given by different students and parents, all are complaining for the different sets as some seemed hard and some easy.
According to most of the students, re-examinations is the most ideal solution to this chaos which cbse has created by giving different sets with different types of questions.
Please grant the students justice fairly.
                Thank you.

Trigonometry question in section d was too lengthy in set 1 and set 3 as compared to set 2 paper. And also these two set (Set 1 &set 3) of paper consumed lot of time which in turn restrained students to proceed further. I kindly request cbse (Central board of secondary education) to give full marks to these hard worked students who faced inequality and injustice on that particular questions.

Set 1 was too difficult as compared to the other two sets. Some questions of section c and d was very difficult-esp. The 4 marks question from a. P and trigonometry. The qstn no. S 18, 20, 25 and 28 were very hard to find. So the valuation should be made more liberal. Why there is such big differences made among the questions of the three sets? According to most of the people, the questions of the last two sections (C and d) should be the same with changes in the question numbers

Sir, can you tell, how you will judge the caliber of the student without setting same question paper.

Question sl no may be different but question cannot be different in separate set, and if at all the questions are different, then the level of the question has to be same.

This type of setting of paper has brought down the morale of students. They are unable to concentrate for the next question paper.

Can you tell, why a student of same caliber will laugh while the other will cry for attending the same examination. Why his discrimination.

The above requires a serious attention, so that fair scrutinastion of set i is carried out, and a fair judgement is provided to the students.

The paper was so big that it can't be completed right in 3 hours, my no classmates have completed the whole paper. Even the paper had mistakes like the realisation was given as revaluation, the level of different sets was not same, i knew all the answers but the time was a huge struggle. Already if we see 3 hours doing a single subject non stop isn't an easy task still you are taking it lightly and providing a paper which can't be completed by a student, nothing more but i think we all deserve bonus marks for the wrong question and long paper.

This complaint is with regard to the cbse 10th mathematics examination conducted on[protected]. Three sets of question papers are distributed among the students. But some of the questions were difficult in set-1 (Series jms/4, code no. 30/4/1. Comparatively set-3 is the easiest one. This is the utmost discrimination to the students who attend the examination after the effort of one year. Whether cbse examine the luck factor of the students? Those who get the set-3 is very luckier students. Is such discrimination is against the constitutional equality of the candidates?

                                Respected sir,

                                1. My son has appeared for classx, cbse, telugu-ap, set-4, question paper code no.11. Exam was conducted on 05 march 2019.

                                2. The following questions seem to be out of syllabus:-
                                Section-c, question no.5 (Ii), 6 (I), 6 (Ii) and 7 (Ii).
Section-d, question no.11 (Out of syllabus and incomplete question /no clarity in question)

                                3. The question paper contains out of syllabus, questions, incomplete questions, no clarity in questions and spelling mistakes due to which student may lose 10 to 15 marks easily. These 10 to 15 marks will have a huge impact on final result..

                                4. Students are thinking that they were punished for taking their mother tongue telugu as their second language. An article in telugu news paper andhra jyothi is attached herewith which clearly explains the shortcomings in the question paper.

                                5. It is requested that the same may be examined and necessary decision may be taken prior to valuation of answer sheets and releive the students from mental stress for which i shall be thankful to you for ever.

                                Thanking you sir
                                Yours faithfully

I have been informed that this year's Kannada paper has atleast 21 marks questions which are out of syllabus. I have also heard there will be retest. I completely disagree as this will only bring more burden on the students. It's not our fault that the questions are out of syllabus, but your fault. We have studied Kannada and we wouldn't want to study it again, because we have other subjects also to study. I'm actually disappointed. I don't understand that how come you can check an answer sheet 2-3 times, but not make sure that the question papers are fine. We will not write any retest, and if we are forced to do so, the complaint will go to a higher level.

The accountancy exam which was held on 6 march 2019 had a mistake in q-14 in all the 4 sets. The question was of dissolution in which we need to prepare realization a/c but the question was wrongly printed and asked to prepare revaluation a/c. So we got confused between realization and revaluation a/c. So we demad for a garce of 6 marks because of the mistake done by cbse and because of which westudents need to suffer and much time was exausthed in that confusion.
