Dear sirs,

This is to bring to your attention that the set1 (Code no.30/4/1) question paper of 10th std maths examination was harder than the other two sets.. Set1 question 24 and 28 marks 4 each were very hard. It is not fair to keep one set very difficult others very easy.
I want to emphasise that the board has done an injustice to the students who got set 1question paper. I hope the board will recognise this and take necessary steps like linear valuation of the answer sheet of set 1 so that students are not punished for a mistake that is not theirs.

Thanking you

My daughter had got set 1 paper for maths and she was so depressed as it was comparatively very tough from set 2 & 3. This kind of discrimination is totally unfair as it will affect the morale of the students who had so diligently prepared for the exams. I sincerely request the authorities and exam correctors to be liberal in their corrections and give grace marks so that the maths marks doesn't affect their grades. I hope this matter will be taken seriously.

    Thanks

It is disappointing and frustrating to note that the kannada paper for 10th graders had many out of syllabus questions causing anxiety and stress amongst students. To top that, @ few exam centres the invigilators instructed kids to mention 'out of syllabus' against those questions and some centres did not instruct anything.

It is impt to ascertain how many questions in all were out of syllabus before allocating grace marks or deciding on re-exam. This negligence from cbse is totally unacceptable.

Each paper had it's own difficulty level. Set 3 was equally difficult as all the other sets. Equal measures and policies should be taken for all the sets. Sec c and sec d were almost same in all sets. Set 3 numericals were comparatively tough than set 1 and set 2. Cbse have to show justice to all the sets equally. Leniency should be shown for set 3.

Cbse board has done a unfair practice in the maths examination held at 7.03.19 for class 10. The set 1 paper jms/4 code n. O -30/4/1 was very tough while others were erasy enough. It consisted of questions out of text which was specially section d. Hence requesting the board to resolve the issue by valuating the paper leniently, appreciate your action on this.

The 2019 maths paper was unfair as the diffuculty was different around the world. I got a lengthy paper with a tough section-d. It resisted me to properly write for left over questions due to time restraints. One of my friend in guwahati and delhi got easy papers and not so lengthy. But me and one of my cousin in malaysia got a comparatively tough and lengthy paper.

Kannada paper was completely out of syllabus. The questions were from last year class 10 textbook. Due to this not only section d was hard but also section c because grammar comes from the chapters that we have in our book and now we got words which are unfamiliar to us as they were from the other lessons in the previous book. The sample paper for this year was fine but still inspite of that the board paper turned out to be like this.

Many students started getting panic attacks and also started crying which affects their paper and also upcoming papers. Moreover we only got one day for kannada after maths so revising everything in one day is just too much to take, as hindi and sanskrit students will get 5 days. Many students start from literature section but this time they could not and they were completely broken as the news about the action came around 11.30am.

We dont want re exam because studying kannada and that too old kannada again is not easy. Not only this was a waste of one year effort with waste of time, energy and money.. It was also waste of 2 days which could have been utilised for science.

I request board to give grace marks and do lininient correction as students have studied hard but they are not able to prove themselves and this should not affect their goals and dream ahead.

The different sets of question papers were unfair. Set 1 question paper cannotbe compare with other 2 sets. It was tougher than the other 2 sets. Grading for questions from same chapter also not fair. As it affected for few students, those who get set 1 are disappointed and this will affect their remaining exams and their grades. This is totally unacceptable and un exoected from such a big educational system. Kindly consider the children who got set 1 question paper. Take an expert opinion. Hope they will do something and will not repeat such mistajes in future...

I am one of the students who wrote 2019 cbse maths board exam. I got set 1question paper. There were 3 sets and they contained different questions especially in section d. Trignometric questions were very tough. Set 2 was easier than set 1 and 3. Set 1 was the most difficult. Students who got set 2 paper are expecting high marks but students who got set 1 paper cant expect high marks.3 sets, different questions, this was not in previous year

According to rule even grammar questions should come from textbook. The questions were from textbook itself but of the old oversion textbook. Knowing that the syllabus was changed 2 years ago it's a fatal mistake. Grace should be awarded for or questions too because those are part of question paper. Exam are to check the ability of student but it's complete loss if 24 out of 35 literature questions are for free. It is the waste of a teacher's knowledge who spent one year to teach for those 35 marks out of which 24 were for free.
Hence action must be taken grace marks won't show the real ability if a student. If 24 are graced then a student can easily pass without writing anything else.

In the question paper of cbse x class exam - 2019, maths paper held on 07.03.19, in series jms/2, code no. 30/2/2 (Set-2), at question no. 21, total student have been mentioned as 100 wherease in the table, sum of students is equal to 110. It means there is mistake in any column of frequency (Number of students). As total no. Of students was given 100, some students used this value 100 in the formula to solve the question and some have taken this value for 110.
Due to typing mistake in paper, students have taken different values and answers are also different in both case. I request that full marks should be given to everyone who solved this question by taking either 100 or 110 but procedure is absolutely correct whether answers are different in both case. Students are depressed due to this mistake in paper and granting full marks will boost their moral.

                              Respected sir/madam,
Students have been working really hard for the kannada exam that was appearing on 9 march 2019 but were really disappointed when the paper provedto be out of syllabus.
*set 4* to be specific had 17-24 marks that was not present in the syllabus provided. It was not only section d that had this problem, whereas the grammar questions too contained few questions that were unfamiliar to the students.
So, we thereby request you to take appropriate actions and apply for a re-exam or provide grace marks for these questions since it is very unfair to the obes who studied day and night for the test.
                              Thank you.

That class 10 kannada exam held on 9th march 2019 had questions up to 21 marks which are out of syllabus. The students are really disappointed and worried about this. The cbse board has to seriously look into this and provide justice to the students by giving them grace marks. If this issue is not addressed seriously, the hard work done by the students will go in vain and their confidence on the future exams will come down. This will also affect their overall score and college admissions.

All are very disappointed with the way the cbse board this year. There were questions worth 21 marks in the kannada examination taken place on 9th march 2019. There was absolutely no fault of the children. Therefore grace marks should be given to each and every student. As it was completely the fault of the organization, i thereby request that there should be no reexamination in this case. It would be very unfair to make the children write the kannada examination again. Respected authorities please look into this matter.

Central board of secondary education [cbse] — complaint for jms/4 code no.30/4/1 for class 10 mathematics

I am really sorry to say that cbse board has done a unfair practice in the maths examination held at 7.03.19 for class 10. I am a gurdian of a student of cbse board class x and i am from assam. The set 1 paper jms/4 code n. O -30/4/1 was very tough while others were easy enough. It consisted of questions out of text which was specially section d.
                                      Waiting for a fruitful response

Cbse 10th social portions teach equality of opportunity to all, but where is it now? Set-1 of the math board examination was indisputably more difficult than all other sets. I don't protest against giving tough questions, but i am opposed to giving tough questions to only some. There must be some provision made for students who wrote set-1, such as leniency in correction or grace marks, as it will be unjust on cbse's part not to do so.
