The paper was unexpected. Who says it was a easy paper and who said this those were outstanding students. Cbse should take care of the averase student two.. I dont know why sample paper were provided... I have solved previous years paper and solved cbse sample paper and other and got min 45 but this paper was helll specially set 3 was out of range... Hell cbse... Dont recmnd anyone to cbse and reallly disappointed

My daughter is appearing in cbse xth exams and has taken her maths exam yesterday. Kindly note that q22 of maths paper code no. 30/2/3 has a mistake in stating 100 students instead of 110 as per the data given. So ideally in such case full marks should be given to all students based on correct procedure and not for using 100 or 110 to arrive at the result. Request a reply on the national media for everyone's reference.

7 march 2019, 10th board exams mathematics set 1 question paper is really tough and incomparable with set 2 and set 3.
Q24 of set 1 was actually a 11th standard ncert question. The questions in set 1 from a. P, polynomials, quadratic were difficult, tricky and time consuming than the questions of these respective chapters in set 2 and set3. It will result in poor marks and grade for those students who got set1 question paper. Have high respect for cbse board but this is not a fair approach. Kindly do the needful to award grace marks (For question 24) to those students who were given set 1 mathematics question paper of class 10 on 07.03.2019. Hope the cbse board will take action to address the disparity done to students who got set 1 of mathematics question paper on 07.03.2019.

It is highly disappointing and unfair that the students who had to attend question paper with code no.30/4/1, series jms/4, set 1 was given out of text questions and hots model questions while other students were not. Out of the 8 questions from section d, 4 were out of text questions. Even a high achiever would find it very difficult to solve question 24 and 28 of this section. It has disturbed them morally as they are worrying they might lose a1 because other students did well. We have great trust in a prestigious board like cbse and believe that appropriate steps would be taken by either giving them grace marks or making the valuation liberal.

My son is a consistent top performer. He informed that some questions of set 1 really needed a lot of time and he could not finish and a few questions which was easy for him he could not even attend. He was surprised to see his fellow students completing and leaving exam rooms 30 minutes before time.

Kindly review the questions as one of them are of the 11th standard syllabus.

on 07/03 cbse math exam were taken, but one question was out of syllabus of set 1, sec -D of question 28, this question was from identity . I solve ncert, rd sharma, rs agarwal and cbse previous year question but i never find this type of identity. Also sir set 1 is very very hard as compared to set 2 or 3.
So i request you to give bonus marks on this question, as no student were able to solve this. Also i try several times but cannot able to solve this question.

I can see so many complaints regarding question 28 of set1 of cbse maths 2019 paper. That question was indeed very tough for children at point of pressure, especially when other questions are lengthy and time consuming. I am also a maths teacher. I know how children would have struggled with that question.

Request the cbse board to remove that question and give the 4 marks fully to all those kids who attempted that question.

Trigonometry questions in set 2 and 3 were easily solvable compared to this.

This question is actually out of syllabus

Sir, yesterday after giving the maths 10 board exam, i am very frustrated, depressed, and feeling helpless as i got set 1, which was must difficult compared to set 2 and set 3. Please sir don't play with our future. We have been working hard from the beginning and such discrimination are really painful for us. I request you do grace marking and kindly do justice with us.

The class 10 maths cbse question paper was a lot difficult than set 3! This is really an injustice to them who got set 2 as their question paper. Each paper should be equal in terms of question i. E the questions may be different but it should be as easier it should be in set 3. I think most of the students faced this who got set 2 as their question.
So, its my request to give grace marks and to check the paper in a easier way.

The set 1 of the math board question paper attempted by the students on 07/03/19 was extremely tough compared to set 2 and set3. Some of the questions like 23rd, 28th were relatively tough. The questions in other sets were easy compared to set 1. It is unfair to have questions with different complexity in different sets. The questions should have shuffled instead of having different questions in each set. This was demotivating for the kids as it impacts there scores compared to others. Atleast the difference was seen for ~3 questions in section 4 of paper hence it impact 8-12 marks.

Considering the difference in complexity of questions, i request cbse to reconsider and provide grace marks (8marks considering 2 questions) for kids who got set 1. This would boost the morals of kids and correct the discrepency caused in papers. I hope the cbse officials will do the needful and provide justice to the children.

The set-1 maths exam paper for grade x was very difficult as compare to other sets. This is not a fair approach by cbse. We need reasonably soft correction to compensate this mistake done.

Children’s who got set-1 paper are very much depressed and this will certainly shaken their confidence for the remaining exams

Humbly request for reasonable action

Accountancy paper was held on 6th march, 2019 by cbse.

An error was found in a 6 marks question of the chapter - not for profit organisation.
Same question was in all three sets as follows:-
Set 67/4/1- question 13
Set 67/4/2 - question 15
Set 67/4/3- question 15

The closing balance sheet was given instead of opening balance sheet., i. E balance sheet as at 31st march, 2018 was given instead of 31st march, 2017.

In case we assume it to be closing balance sheet, then also
There are following discrepancies:-
1. The cash balances do not match with the receipt and payment a/c.
2. Assets purchased during the year, computer and furniture are not shown in the balance sheet.
Hence, the children were in a dilemma to take it as opening or closing balance sheet.

If the children assume it to be opening balance sheet then:-
The cash balances do not match with the receipt and payment a/c.

Kindly look into the matter.

We request authorities to compensate the children by giving them 6 marks for the erroneous question.

Set 1 of maths paper was very tough compared to set 2 and set3. Why it is based on luck factor.

Three questions in 4 marker was so difficult and trigonometry sum is in 11 grade ncert text book. I think it's very unfair.. Quadratic was so lengthy and ap question not seen before in past papers also.

Give grace marks for set1 for all three questions.

10 grade maths paper was held on 7.3.19 and set1 was very difficult compared to the set2 and set3. 4 markers trigonometry ap and quadratic was not part of 10 th ncert syllabus.

Need to give grace marks for all the three.
This is very unfair as only few set of students has to suffer. And no point in doing so much hardwork. All the rest are so happy...

Some questions were too much tricky and especially lengthy.
I really admire to get grace marks for set 3 students as the students of set 1 &set 2 are getting.

The set 1 of the maths board question paper attempted by the students on 07/03/2019 was extremely unfair. While set 2 and set 3 made the students jump with joy as all questions were basic reader questions, the students who attempted set 1 came out of the exam center crying as they did not expect to lose 8 marks.
Specifically two questions from section - d were extremely hard and question based on trigonometry also demanded long calculations which consumed much of the time of the students. While it is perfectly understandable to give the children new questions to test their understanding but their capacity should also be kept in mind. It is also extremely unfair that the other two sets were much, much easier when compared to the first one. 8 marks can be a major setback for the students aiming for 90% and more and to all students in general.

Keeping the interest of all students who has attempted set 1 maths paper, in our opinion some grace marks should be given to all students who has tried to attempt those difficult questions.
It is unfair to the children who prepared so much but couldn't score a ` full simply because their roll number was not the preceding or the succeeding one.

We are really hopeful that the cbse officials do the needful and provide justice the children.
