Honourable cbse members,

The maths board exam of class 10th, held on 7th march, 2019, had different levels of sets. The set-1 was the toughest of the three and a few questions were out of syllabus. Question number 24th was from 11th class's syllabus. Set-2 and 3 were comparatively a lot easier. Set-1 had comparativelycomplex calculations and was lengthier than the other sets. Students who had the other two set completed the paper almost 30 minutes prior to the full time. Board examination should be equal and fair for everyone, and should be of the same level of all students. We request you for linient checking and grace marks for question number 24 and 29, of set-1 papers.
Highest respect to cbse, and all officials, but this "discrimination to set-1 students" is not fair and does not provide for a common platform to all students.
.
Hoping for a suitable action in the favor of the affected students.

    Sir/madam,
It is highly disappointing and unfair that the students who had to attend question paper with code no.30/4/1, series jms/4, set 1 was given out of text questions and hots model questions.

Specially question number 24 and 28 are pretty hard for almost everyone.

I was not expecting such discrimination.

Now what will happen to our results.
Please take appropriate marking action please.

This is the utmost discrimination to the students who attend the examination after the one year effort. Are they examine the Luck factor of the students? Those who get the SET-3 is very luckier students. Is such discrimination is against the constitutional equality of the candidates?

      Q 24 was out syllabus
Q 25 was from optional section where its clearly mentioned with asterisk that these are not from exam point of view

My daughter who is a top performer in the school is completely depressed due to unfair means of providing different sets of question paper for maths exam (Code no 30/4/1 set 1).
Set 1 was of extreme difficult level compared to set 2 & 3.
Set 2 & 3 consisted of most questions from the ncert text book

Its a injustice done to students by giving different sets of different difficulty levels who has put in great effort & hard work and they're feeling completely put down. Hope you would do the necessary to do justice to these children

In the accountancy exam which was conducted on 6th march, 2019, question paper set-1 question 13 was of npo and the question contained the balance sheet of current year but it should have previous years balance sheet.
For this cbse should give grace marks as it was not our fault as the question was incorrect. Re-examination is not an option as it takes a lot of effort to prepare for a board exam and students cant take the pressure of board exams again and again for a mistake in a single question.

            Sir,
It was very disappointing to see the the maths question paper of 2019 as it was very unfair. The paper had such difficult questions and so was lengthy too. Even the one marks questiins were of whole page to solve and the other ones were tricky too. The procedure of your of giving three sets of paper is useless one may get an easy one and other one a difficult i[censored] want to evaluate the students the u should provide a single set of questions as to check everyone’s level

                Dear sir,

My daughter is a consistent top performer in the school. But by giving a particular set of high difficulty level her morale has been completely shattered.

With regard to the maths exam held on 7th mar 2019, question paper code no 30/4/1, set 1 was of extreme difficulty level compared to set 2 & 3.

Out of 30 excpet 9-10 questions all were out ncert book, but most of the questions in set 2 & 3 were from text book. Despite this fact main anomaly was as mentioned below.

                Q. No 24 was out of syllabus & from class 11.

Q no 25 was taken from optional section where its clearly mentioned with asterisk that these questions are not from exam point of view.

Q no 28 was of extreme difficult level time consuming when compared to similar question in set 2 & 3.

Considering the above three questions alone the student looses 12 marks for no mistake of their's except that due to their hard luck they got set 1.

Now is this exam a game of luck or sort of gambling for the child. I don't wish to believe so.
What mistake has students who got set 1 committed to have to face this kind of injustice?

Being an ex cbse student myself i have complete faith vested on the system and hope the children who attempted set 1 gets justice.

                Regards,
                Kg rajesh

There are many many complains for such kind of act done by cbse board and i'm much more depressed than anyone else and i'm trying for my best to help people raise more voices for this thing. There is no basis for judgement if you're giving different students different sets, it will be a whole lot of chaos for you and it will not disturb the students mentally and physically but also will lead to disturbance in the future exams.
Please give me justice, i want to get 75+, i've done so much hardwork for maths but as soon as i got my paper, i got a panic attack and it felt like i'm going to be unconscious. Please help us.
Either give us grace marks or reconduct the exams, there is no other way to resolve this matter.
The questions were different in all the sets which is the first point to consider! How can we be judged according to this?
Think about this, if one set seems easy to one student and that set seems difficult for another student and also this is discriminatory for us.

The questions in set 1 an 2 were out of syllabus though then i dont get it that a board that is holding exam in the whole country cant they recheck the questions.
Now talking about the children that had got set 3, even that set was tough and these children are at a great loss of 8 marks. These 8 marks for a person who is not talented enough but has got set 1 or 2 are like a golden opportunity but at same time a talented person having set 3 may lag behind from one who has got set 1 or 2 and this is not at all fair. We need equality and either provide 8 marks to all sets or none. Please don't do any inequality cause it would cost us more than you think.

Mine was also set 3 and it has very different and difficult questions as compared to other sets.
Is there any way that CBSE could reconduct the exams?
                    True that
                    Set 3 was tough
Re exam needs to be done

                        Dear sir/mam,
I had appeared in the recently held 10th board exams on 7th march 2019. I had given the question set number 30/3/1. This set has a question which wasn't totally clear .
The very question is question number 23. In this question a pole has to be erected whose distance difference from two diametrically opposite fixed gates was given 7metre but this 7metre difference of distances could be on the circumference.Question wasn't specifying that these distances should be not considered on circumference.so many had supposed the provided distances differences are the difference of distances on circumference. Actually question should clearfy that this was the least distance between pole and fixed gate or displacement or this was not on circumference.
I am attaching a image file so that you can understand it better .
I hope you will think over it.
                        Thanks .

I will like to submit that as per the experts set 2 of maths paper of class x held on 7th march 2019 was tougher than set 1 and set 3.
Trignometry questions were quite lengthy. The objective of exam is to test student's ability fairly and not by setting three different sets with different difficulty levels thereby denying level playing field to everyone. I request cbse to make different set with the same questions by altering their numbering as difficulty level will same for everyone. As for this examination it is requested that grace mark should be given to those who attempted set 2 of mathematics paper.

Much has been said already about different difficulty levels of mathematics question paper sets. This is highly unfair and incorrect assessment of children without providing a level playing field.
The very concept of different questions for different sets is in itself a fallacy. Either questions have to be same with order different or questions have to be similar with values different.
This was sufficient to already demoralise children who got set 1, especially the average child.
Now that the damage has already been done, request cbse to be lenient and give additional grace marks for students who were given set 1.

In set 2 of accountancy paper conducted on 6-3-19 there was a mistake in question 15. It required revaluation account to be made instead of realization account and
An error was found in a 6 marks question also of the chapter - not for profit organisation
The closing balance sheet was given instead of opening balance sheet., i. E balance sheet as at 31st march, 2018 was given instead of 31st march, 2017 also which was very confusing and consumed a lot of time in understanding it.

The calculations in question 13 of past adjustment were also very tough.

These all made the paper very lengthy and i was unable to complete it on time so, i request you to reconduct the examination so that we could get justice
                              Thankyou

                                Sir,
The mathematics examination conducted on march 5 with series jms/3, code 30/3/3 has 3 sets. The questions in different sets were different. This is very unfair on part of cbse to show disparity. The conceptual level of questions should be aimed at an average student. If a topper gets a easy set, and low achiever gets a difficult set, the entire academic year of the low achiever will be at stake if he fails in that paper. Is it fair to judge their future based on the disparity and unfair means of setting the question paper. The set 3 class 10 board maths paper was tricky and difficult. The questions were twisted and were very difficult when compared to set 1, 2. It is very unfair to judge the students with different questions on the same platform. Some grace marking should be given to the students with set 3 to do justice with the children.

                                  Dear sir/madam,
This is to bring to your attention that the accountancy paper of class 12, held on march 6, 2019 was very very lengthy. Most students were not able to complete the
Paper. There were mistakes also in the paper due to which a lot of time was wasted. Most students have lost about 15-20 marks because of this. This will seriously affect their overall percentage and future prospects. I request you to please take a re-exam for this subject.

The cbse board exam conducted on 7-3-2019 in the subject of mathematics was very unfair. The question papers was divided into 3 sets. The set 1 question paper was comparatively very hard to that of set 2 and set 3. I kindly express my feelings to this type of partiality done to the students. The board should give full 4 marks to the hard question in section d to the students. The students who appear the set 1 questions is mentally depressed.

As per the maths exam conducted on 7/3/2019 i would like to enquire about some questions. The trignomentry questions were very tough, especially 4 mark question which are outside textbook.
Being a full syllabus pattern we find it almost impossible to go through all other problems in other refference books. Although maths is a scoring subject we would like to see some add scores for such type of questions.
                                        Thank you for the same
