7 march 2019, 10th board exams mathematics set 1 question paper is really tough and incomparable with set 2 and set 3.
Q24 of set 1 was actually a 11th standard ncert question. The questions in set 1 from a. P, polynomials, quadratic were difficult, tricky and time consuming than the questions of these respective chapters in set 2 and set3. It will result in poor marks and grade for those students who got set1 question paper. Have high respect for cbse board but this is not a fair approach. Kindly do the needful to award grace marks to those students who were given set 1 mathematics question paper of class 10 on 07.03.2019. Hope the cbse board will take action to address the disparity done to students who got set 1 of mathematics question paper on 07.03.2019.

The set 1 of the maths board question paper attempted by the students on 07/03/2019 was extremely unfair. While set 2 and set 3 made the students jump with joy as all questions were basic reader questions, the students who attempted set 1 came out of the exam center crying as they did not expect to lose 8 marks.
Specifically two questions from section - d were extremely hard and question based on trigonometry also demanded long calculations which consumed much of the time of the students. While it is perfectly understandable to give the children new questions to test their understanding but their capacity should also be kept in mind. It is also extremely unfair that the other two sets were much, much easier when compared to the first one. 8 marks can be a major setback for the students aiming for 90% and more and to all students in general.

Keeping the interest of all students who has attempted set 1 maths paper, in our opinion some grace marks should be given to all students who has tried to attempt those difficult questions.
It is unfair to the children who prepared so much but couldn't score a ` full simply because their roll number was not the preceding or the succeeding one.

We are really hopeful that the cbse officials do the needful and provide justice the children.

I'm a student of class 10, it was my first board exam paper ever and it was the worst for me, i'm depressed so much. I prepared all the things and i was confident that i was able to score 75+ but as soon as i got my paper i had a panic attack and my hands began to shiver and my left eye started to close as it seemed like blindness to me.
In my class, there was no comfortable seat and my all stationary instruments were falling from the desk and we were unable to see the clock and when we complained to the teacher, she said it's not your school that you try to talk to us like this.
Also, we were not allowed to have a watch with us and a water bottle. Are they making exams easy or more complicated for us?
Are they creating the future of india or making the students objects and machines?
Also, different sets has different questions.
It was the most horrific moment for me, all my classmates who got the good sets will score good and i'll not, and now i'm full of sorrow for this. They gave me set-3 with different questions and many students are complaining in my school for such kind of act done by cbse.
It's not an exam but just playing with the students by giving them different questions. It's like cbse is playing a whole different game with us.
Everyone is angry with such kind of act, i must get grace marks for this as i was unable to see the clock properly and we were not allowed to have our water bottle with us, we were thirsty and the school provided us water only for one time. Think about this, how could you judge us by making us giving exams in such an uncomfortable surrounding?
And it's totally unfair to give the students different sets! Please give me justice for this! I'm mentally ill thinking about my maths class 10 board exams, i need grace 10+ marks as i was going to lose my consciousness at that time in the exam hall because of the miserable conditions.
Thank you, i hope cbse will support us.

This year's mathematics question paper of class 10 had several sets. But the sets were not of equal standard. Set 03 had very easy questions while sets 01 and 02 had tough questions to be answered.

This is totally unfair on part of cbse. All sets should have equal standard questions. I complaint against this unfair matter of cbse paper setting way.

Consideration or grace marks must be considered by cbse for the students who answered sets 01 and sets 02.

Reference: please refer and compare to the mathematics question paper - 2019 of class 10 held on 07/03/2019 the sets 01, 02 and 03.

Sir, i appeared the maths board exam for class 10 on 7.3.19 and was given set 1. I was very disappointed to see the questions but somehow managed to do some but after the exam when i saw set 3, i was totally devastated, shattered and cursed my bad luck. Had i been given set 3, i would have scored not less than 75. Can i ask the cbse team members, how they can play with the student, s future and career by giving different level of questions.

The level of questions in different sets has really put my moral down and just don, t feel like giving the rest of the exam. Humble request to cbse, please don, t do this with us.

Even a top performing student if he get set 1 paper could not finish within the time given. It was possible for top students but needed more time. Top performers are surprised to see the other medium level students completing and leaving the exam center in advance before 30 minutes!

Set 1 is discriminating highly with other sets especially between high achievers which got set 2 and set3 papers
Absolutely True! This is totally unfair for us! CBSE must reconduct Maths Exam properly I believe
Please raise more voices for justice!

            Dear sir,
12th accountancy paper was really tough this year, lengthy and tricky, it's difficulty level was too high and some of the questions were also misprinted and in the internal choice questions one was easy and another one was too tough, if this is there what's the advantage of giving options, in yesterday's exam the questions of shares level was too high due to which i couldn't complete my paper, i am very much disappointed with yesterday's question paper.
Even we were given three days gap for the preparation.
I request cbse to retake accountancy board exam.
We have a career to achieve.
Please don't play with our future.
            Please consider my request.
            Regards

The set 1 class 10 mathematics board exam conducted on 7/3/2019 was quite difficult when compared to set 2 and set3. All the students are not subjected to equal level of difficulty. Students attempting set 1, section d, 4 mark question no 23, 24 and 28, were struggling to get the solutions while the other students attempting set2/set3 were easily deriving solutions for the direct questions in their respective sets. This is not justified. The students who attempted set 1, terribly got struck in these three questions and lost their continuity in completing the paper with full mental strength.
Most of the students who were interviewed by media attempted set2/set3 gave a general impression about the class 10 cbse board paper as easy and straight forward. This is not a correct impression.
Set 1 attempted students deserve compensation for their genuine hard work and aspiration to score high marks.
Different levels of difficulty in different sets of 10th board exam should be discouraged. All the students should be given equal opportunity to score high marks. The present situation has imposed a discrimination and set1 attempted students were under more mental pressure due to more challenging questions.

It is very sad to know that now grades of students studying in class 10 is based on luck factor as cbse has adopted a new system of exams in which there are three sets in which set one being the most difficult one i am a student appearing in 10th standard and recently on 7th march and i wrote set1 some questions from trigonometry and a. P. And quadratic equations where very difficult, tricky and time consuming by which students got worried and couldn't answer other questions properly
Q no. 24of set 1 was actually a 11 th standard ncert question (Please check ch 9, ex. 9.2, no.10) how are we supposed to answer a question like that which was not even there in ncert 10 th book and set 2, 3had questions related to the questions that where taught to us and q no. 28 was also a very tough question compared to other sets

It is a clear violation of right to equality as different students got different questions

I as a citizen of india demand a lighter correction for students who wrote set1 as it was not fair from your part to put question papers with different difficulty level.

                    Sir,
On march 7th i wrote my math board exam, (My first exam).
Then after the examination started they came to each of the students and they made us to write the answer book code no., verifying our details checking out the omr, etc., which wasted 10 mins of our writing time and they expected us to give the book by 10:30. This is an injustice done by kendriya vidyalaya, hebbal invigilators.
I wrote my exam in south india and i lost 10+ marks in that.
I expect atleast 5marks as grace...

I really want you to inform about the leaking of class10 mathematics board paper 2019 that was held on 7th march 2019. One of my cousin and many of my classmates were already informed about the paper and each and every question and its 2nd set was already there before our examination day on youtube and when i checked it was been made private. So sir i would like to request you to keep a tight check on papers and will be really blessed if you retake this mathematics board examination. Otherwise this will be unfair for the student who have really studied. Please sir/ma'am you need to take some action against it. And i hope that my complaint will get some favouring resolution. Please you need to do something because this is unfair to us. Please take some action and if possible so please reconduct this examination. Because otherwise there's no need to study for students. Because this also happened last year as well.

The set 1 of maths paper held on 7th march 2019 was the most difficult amongst the other two sets.
These set 1 were were difficult and as compared to the other two sets wherein the questions were right
Out of textbooks. This is unfair. The issue is not about questions being asked in a twisted manner
But should be fair to all students. And should have same pattern to all sets.

This has made the children morally down, frustrated and helpless. Such discrimination should not
Be done with the child, s future. At least some grace marking should be given to the students with
Set 1 to do justice with the children. It is also requested that in future the sequence of question should
Be changed but not the entire questions, so that the student should not feel helpless.

All the students work hard throughout the year and subjecting only some of them to questions
Like 23 and 28 is unfair... The luck factor as we call it should not crรจep in at this level i. E 10th std.

The cbse physics theory exam which was conducted on 5th march, 2019 was really hard in comparison to last year papers and also delhi set. I want to ask cbse officials that why the paper was of so different level for delhi and all india when we have a same board of education. Why this discrimination is happening in our country. You can compare the paper of both delhi and outside delhi. There was a huge difference many easy and last year questions were asked in delhi set. Hope cbse will take necessary actions to be taken to secure our future๐Ÿ˜ฆ๐Ÿ˜ฆ๐Ÿ˜ฆ

What a shameful joke by cbse... Cbse set a high order thinking questions and some iit based question in boards examination of nearly 30 marks, which was unexpected.. And paper was too lenghty.. The difficulty level of 2019 physics paper was on its peak, it was a act to ruin students career. So cbse should give grace marks of 30 marks to each and every student to achieve their goals

Sir, the set 1 class 10 board maths paper was tricky and difficult from set 2 and set 3. This has made the children morally down, frustrated and helpless. Such discrimination should not be done with the child, s future. At least some grace marking should be given to the students with set 1 to do justice with the children.

It is also requested that in future the sequence of question should be changed but not the entire questions, so that the student should not feel helpless.

This is to bring to your kind notice that an error was observed in the accountancy paper subject code 055 session 2018-19, held on 6th march 2019.in set code 67/1/1 q no.17, amounts in english translation were misprinted. Which lead to a lot of confusion and panic. Some students couldn't solve it and some did it with wrongly written amounts. Some who get the error of misprinting by comparing it with hindi part later do it again, they lost a lot of time because of this, who started with this question had to cut 4-5 starting pages of answer sheet, because of which till now they are afraid of what will be there impression, hope this will not affect the checking as it was due to the misprinting of question. But till how long there will be such mistakes aren't they checked, these kind of mistakes mentally affects the students and there performance. These things should be kept in mind while checking the papers.
