Chennai Packers and Movers is one the worst packers I have seen. They are known for losing or damaging any kind of household goods shipped through them. I have had my share of experience and regret to have chosen these guys. Never deliver as promised and also know for very bad customer care. I had shipped my goods from Hyderabad, and the concerned manager had promised that if I take a full truck load, they will not add any other consignment to it and also deliver the very next day. But as expected, they did not deliver the next day. They stated som many reasons like vehicle break down, highway traffic etc...But finally after following up with them 100 times, they delivered two days later. But to my shock, the promised full load was not there. They had someother consignment also in the same container.
It does not stop there, lot of damages and the worst was my bike was damaged heavily. Having asked for an explanation, the manager refused to give one and also said that you never asked for a full load. Too many reasons and finally they said they will repair my bike and give it back within two days. Two days passed by and no one even bothered to call up. I had to follow up so many times to understand what they have done with my bike. The worst thing with this packers is that, all the customer handling managers are very rude and are taught not to attend calls and answer customer queries. I had to wait for a week and no repairs were done. Finally I managed to get one person on the phone and I told them to return the bike even if it is not repaired.After calling them zillion times, they said we will send to you by 11 in the morning. The day just went by and when I called them back, they said, we wont send the bike back and you will have to come and collect. They had given it in writing that, the bike will be repaired and delivered back, which they refused with so much of rudeness and arogance. Finally I had to go all the way to their go-down to collect my bike and to my shock, they had hardly done any repair and my bike was left in pile of dust un-attended.
Having paid a huge some to these fraudsters, nothing useful had happened. I am yet to get compensated for the all the damages caused and also i had to spend so much on my phone calls to track these guys and get my bike. Kind word of advice, please do not go for these packers, and still if you do without an option, do not pay the full amount. Tell them you will pay half and the other half on delivery. Check all your items and they pay them, atleast we will have a hold over these guys.
