The most useless sim card --- I got a Clay international sim card for Israel and the biggest mistake seriously. With no signals most of the times, it became a nightmare to connect back with my family. The only timethat i could get signals, i landed up calling their customer desk asking thm to resolve this issue of poor network to which they said that this is what it is sometimes it happens and its out of their hands. Why is it that all such information is not shared when they sell a sim card???? The Clay Sim hardly worked and they also were quite pathetic to deduct 500rs as minimum charges on my card. Sick!!

    Very bad experience with Clay’s sales staff ---- I had requested for 2 clay sim cards for UK and made the requirement very clear to the person (Ankit) dealing with the case. While he got me the sim cards, he had mixed both the sims up and hence the numbers interchanged. While one was for my boss and one for his colleague and this stupidity nearly costed me my job. Thanks to your careless team members who seem to be so stoned and lost at work that they don’t even realised what they are doing and in return he had the guts to say so what, you can interchange the sims with each other. After all the mess created their services are not even worth mentioning. Definitely not doing any business with them anymore.

      What a terrible way to deal with customer queries --- Firstly Clay Sim Cards have terrible services in Indonesia and then the way they dealt with my case was not even professional. They had charged my card twice for 2 different amounts and when i asked them for a logical explanation, they said it was a mistake and now they have refunded the money. While i didnt ask for any refunds, i still didnt get a logical response for their action. And also since they were insisting that they had refunded the money, i checked my accounts and there was no refund transaction. Anyways my experience with Clay wasnt too good, but now am sure, that iwont be using their services at all in the near future.

        I got myself a Clay Sim Card for Malaysia after reading a lot about their effortless connectivity and affordability. I was really hoping to get the same experience but it was quite the opposite. The sim card that i was carrying, first wasnt adjusting to my iphone. It wasnt cut properly. Somehow i managed to fit it in the slot and then there were issues with its signals. Everytime i would make a call, it would drop mid way and then take forever to register signals. For me, clay sim cards are really bad and there is an unnecessary hype created around their service. It isn’t that great, infact its really poor.

          Clay Sim Cards – Best way to get robbed of your money under student plans --- Please check 10 times before you decide to go ahead with Clay’s student plans. My dad wanted me to be connected the moment i landed in UK and for that he got me a clay sim card especially designed with a student plan. It was all good initially everything was wrking fine and then just before we got our first bill, these ppl would call me at odd hours in the day to pay my dues or else they would disconnect my services. When my father ultimately scolded the sales person who got us the sim, they stopped and emailed us a bill of 19000/- for a month. When asked for a detailed copy, they took 10 ddays to send that across which showed a total of 10, 000/-. We learnt our lesson in the first month of Clay’s service only and settled the contract after that. It was a lesson learnt. Its better to get a sim card from closer to ur uni as they have better offers.

            We had taken the prepaid plan from Clay Telecom in India on 9th June 2015.

            We were told that for any problem they would help us.

            Once we reached the US the SIM card just wouldn't work. After many efforts the SIM started showing network signals. But it never allowed us to make calls.

            We tried to reach out to the sales team as well as the helpline. The helpline put us on endless wait and the sales team turned a deaf ear in spite of our repeated emails and calls.

            We would like Clay Telecom to take back their SIM card and Refund us the amount paid that we paid for the prepaid plan.

            We have email proofs.

              The most over rated international SIM card service. I used a clay sim for Thailand after hearing so much about their service from my colleagues. But With my experience they are the most over rated and expensive service. Poor network and for local calls it's really expensive as well. Bad experience

                Clay SIM cards worst possible--- I have had the most sick experience of my travels using a clay international sim.. Everything was hunky dorey when they came to sell the SIM card. I bought a SIM card for Australia. I was told that the network is excellent and there won't be any issue with the sim. Everything was a sales pitch. When I inserted the sim to make my first call, it said I need to clear my previous dues to continue services! It came to me as a shocker! I dropped in emails, as I cudnt call the customer care and they kept on saying they will take is matter on priority. After 4 days I got the sim working with an email that ur issue has been resolved. By that time I had bought a prepaid number locally and was happy using it. With this experience I will let everyone know of their pathetic ways of servicing people

                  Clay has really poor reception--- I was traveling to Malaysia and to stay connected I bought a clay SIM card for about 5 days. I have to say I haven't used such bad cellular services in my life. There was practically no reception at any given time. Connecting a call was a task. Very bad experience with clay sims.

                    I am happy to share my super bad experience with clay sim cards. The signals were really pathetic, and to call their customer care was a big deal, as they don’t believe in picking up distress calls and they say they are there for us to help us with issues. Well this is not it, after 15 mins of trying to get through the customer care number, when i finally did speak to the employee, he said its network issue and he cant do anything. So when i asked him if he can inform me when the issue is resolved, he outright refused and asked me call back in a few hours to check again. Well such experiences tell us how a service provider is. And clay sim cards has definitely lost all the business from company after this. Good Riddance !!

                      Clay Sims have a really screwed up billing process --- Hi, I happened to use and return a clay sim card for UK and also happened to pay the edited bill worth 5000 rs which was initially charged to my credit card as 25000rs. Please help me understand, how come I am getting another bill worth 4600rs after a month for the UK number for which I have already cleared the bills. Also, it was surprising that my travel cycle fitted the billing cycle the exact way and now the dates on the bills are different and without any notification or an ebill, my credit card was charged. For all those, who wish to travel abroad and take a number before flying out, clay sim cards shouldn’t be their choice at all. I am sure after this experience i will never use their services and will also talk about this fraud with my friends and colleagues.

                        Worst sim card that i have ever used --- I had requested for a clay sim card for Turkey, while i was completely aware of the fact that clay has a global sim car for turkey, i wasnt really aware of the fact that how poor its services will be there. Firstly i thought that the sales guy would register my documents since i gave all to him via an email. Well that didnt happen and i had to register myself once i landed there, information shared by the customer centre as my phone wasnt working. Luckily they took less than 7 hours to validate everything and get my sim started, emailing case taken on “PRIORITY” basis!! Such PRIORITY services were also poor. I have learnt my lesson, never using their services for any place in the near future. Really bad experience.

                          Paid extra also for data but nothing worked--- Really poor experience with Clay Sim Cards. I had paid an extra 1400 rs for data services to be activated on the number i purchased from them, but even after that nothing worked. Even after paying so much for data services, it was really frustrating to call their customer centre over and over again to understand the status of the issue. While they did nothing to do anything about it, but only one statement that it will work in sometime, i shuld restart my phone. I will take this feedback and experience to all my firends and family and inform of this and ensure that they do not use any services that Clay Sim would offer.

                            I took a SIM card from clay on 10 April 2015 for 15 days while on a trip to Europe. It was delivered to me promptly and they took the credit card details (except cvv number). The accompanying brochure said that i have to write to "[protected]@clay.co.in" as soon as iam back so that it will be picked up. I wrote a mail to this email id on 23 April and called their customer care support on 24 April 2015. But they picked it up only on 30 April 2015. Then they sent me an invoice of a whooping 11674 Rs out of which a large portion is the rental until 30 April! Not only that, they took the money from my credit card without waiting for my approval. Since then i have called and emailed them several times. Last week they email me that the issue is resolved! But i havent seen any reversal on my credit card yet. I called them several times again and every time a new customer care support person picks the call and after i describe the whole thing he doesnt have a clue what to do!

                            RAF Number 290212. By the way i have tried this number many times, no one picks up. 0001 does and they are not able to help

                            No response from clay
                            Clay telecom are number cheater in calling cards-sim. They overcharge every bill and if you object their their cheating, clay telecom goons and gudaas threatens you to pay. Clay goons give call to misbheave with each and every number person on which a user called like user family and friends. Traveller buy sim foreign calling to save money but these cheaters make more money by cheating customers. Never by sim from these cheaters.

                              Pl. find below my complaint 1. Plan which was offered to me from clay had following: a. Rental – INR 500 b. Free Talktime – INR 500 c. Incoming calls while in Moscow – FREE unlimited d. OG calls to India – USD 1.99 per minute 2. Since I had free Talktime worth INR 500, I had call back to India for 3 mins 3. I didn’t make any other outgoing call other than the one mentioned above be it local/national or international 4. I received only incoming calls for 4 days I was in Moscow 5. I didn’t move out of Moscow for those 4 days 6. As per plan details, my bill should not have been more than INR 500 & since you guys have already charged me INR 100, it should have been INR 400 + taxes 7. Invoice sent by you is of approx INR 6, 000 which is totally wrong as there was NO LOCAL OUTGOING CALL MADE BY ME IN MOSCOW

                                Very bad experience with Clay Sim Cards --- Hi, I had heard a lot about clay international sim cards and thought I should use it for my next trip to London. So I placed an online inquiry for someone to call me and explain the entire process of obtaining the sim card and the documents they would require. I have to say, the first call that I got was after 2 days of putting that request where the sales person (I don’t remember his name) was very eager and spoke extremely well about Clay and its services and said that he would be there the next day to deliver the sim card. It has been 4 days now, almost a day away for my trip, and I have been calling that person with no response. I have never experienced such poor services in my life, where the client seems to be more interested in using the service than the company selling it. I have already learnt my lesson with this experience and I can imagine how poor their services must be.

                                  Please check your overall bill once carefully before paying for it --- I have had a very bad experience using Clay sims for Canada. While I was there for 30 days, I had regular issues with connecting the phone and the calls would just drop mid way. This can still be overlooked, but when I got my final outstanding bill worth 30K I was really shocked. While they had mentioned charging 30 cents for all the incoming calls, when I checked my bill again, I was charged 45 cents/min for all the incoming calls. Not only was this inflated but also the overall usage hours. There were calls that were duplicated and charges for sms services which I never used. After numerous emails and follow up and them refusing all these claims, I finally paid somewhere close to 10K for all the usage. Although I would not be using any clay services again, because not only are they poor but definitely fraud.

                                    Very rude customer services staff --- I was using Clay Global Email service for US and was facing issues with accessing my emails all the time. There was a significant lag in receiving them and sending them out. Also, I wasn’t able to use my blackeberry services at any given time of the day. So when I called their customer services @[protected], first they were rude in attending the call, almost kept me on hold for good 10 minutes and then when someone came on the call, he just put me off by saying that I need to switch on and switch off the phone till the time it doesn’t start working fine. I mean he should have just said that he isn’t interested in helping me with anything. Surprisingly I paid good 35 GBP for a service that worked like . It was an experience where I realized good services come with quality and Clay Sims are definitely not one of those. Wont be using their services again.

                                        The merchant has charged me rent for 2 weeks even though the travel dates provided by me were of 1 week. I have emails that were sent to them that the travel was for 1 week. When spoke to the merchant, they informed that since the SIM was not picked on time, they charged me for 2 weeks. After returning, I had continuously been following with them for the SIM pick-up and it was delayed from their end. Even after informing the issue to them and getting their acknowledgement, they charged my credit card. I had stopped all the authorizations for any charge to y credit card till they don’t correct the bill, but they did not care for the correction and instead charged me for the inflated bill.
