I was travelling to Germany for about 10 days and took a clay sim card for the same. Very good response to my query but pathetic services after that. The sim would only work after my regular complaining calls to the customer care which were charged exorbitantly. This happened not once or twice, but most of the times !! It felt like i was carrying a number not for my convenience but for their easy ways to make money !!

    Horrible customer care services from Clay Sim Cards. I took their international sim for US with $30 rental plan for 15 days. Inspite of completing the entire paper work as per their instructons and sharing my card details, i got a message that i have exceeded my limit hence all services are barred. On calling the customer care they werent ready to extend any solution at all and kept me hanging.! A horribly unbelievable service experience.

      Never share your credit card details with Clay sim Cards, rather prefer dealing with them in cash. I got double charged on my card once for Singapore ( destination i never travelled to ) and one for UK – my actual destination. And on asking for a relevant reason, they said it was a backend mistake but doesn’t happen regularly! Well if it happens once, it happens all the time. Definitely not using such services where they store ur details and exploit at their will.

        I found Clay Sim cards to be over hyped. Their services for UK were just pathetic. The customer care was equally rude and irresponsible in sharing information!! I don’t think that i will ever use these again even if offered for free

          Clay sim cards have false claims of being affordable and really convenient. They are full of hidden costs and have super expensive implicit deals that they make you purchase . They will hike ur bill by 20% and directly deduct from your credit card and you will find yourself trapped in the vicious cycle of getting refunds.

            I had used an Australian Sim card from Clay and returned when i got back after 21 days. When i got my bill, I had to recheck my call records twice cz my bill of rs 28k for 21 days. Turned out that i was billed for calls made by person who used the number before me and for most of the calls, there was increase in the duration by them. It took me a week to get this sorted and to finally pay my bill of 8k!! Never using this again

              I bought a sim card from Clay while i was travelling to US without knowing what i was getting into. First they charged my card with 10k, saying they do it specifically for US. And not even a week into the trip, they barred all my calls! I was left with a mobile phone which was rendered useless!! Calling their customer care, i get to know that i have crossed my limit of credit while i was told i had an unlimited plan and until someone pays the bill, they wont start my services. !! I had to email them to disconnect my connection while i was US and cleared the bill worth 5000rs. So if you want to go through this process, please go ahead and get yourself a clay sim card!!

                Clay Sim Cards – a really bad choice for international travelling. I used their pre paid option for Thailand and it was really really bad. I spent on services for a sim that didnt register on the network no matter how much i tried. Ultimately when i gave up and called the customer service they said that i have been given a sim that isn’t valid anymore!! Wow!!! Selling a dead product!! I am soo pissed right now. Its easier to fool a customer once ultimately losing their trust. Will ask all my friends and family and acquaintances never to use your pathetic service.

                  Definitely lacks the customer trust with all their billing frauds --- I used Clay Sim card for UK for not more than 10 days, but i was really shocked when i saw my bill generated within 15 days and amounting to INR 20k, even though when i had a zero rental plan, with no data usage and when the phone was used only for incomings!! Its been more than 10 days that m still in the process of getting this rectified and had their services been great i would have still ignored this, but seriously its pathetic and frustrating.

                    If you are looking for a satisfactory first time experience, trust me you should not even think o[censored]sing the poor and disgusting services provided by Clay Sim cards. I have used their international sim card only twice after which i have neither recommended nor used such pathetic services. Where the customer support is least interested in listening you your problem and the services aren’t great either. With calls dropping at regular intervals in the middle of the conversation and bad reception. Recommending never to use Clay

                      Poor on customer service experience ---- I bought a prepaid Clay Sim card from the delhi airport for US and must say i have never felt more misinformed in my life. Clay has the worst customer support team employed with them. I was told that the sim wud automatically pick the network but once i landed and inserted the sim card to make my first call, there was nothing. For the first 20 mins i kept trying everything possible but ultmimately gave up and called the customer care @[protected] and my call was transferred from one person to the other but no one had either an answer or a solution. All that they kept on saying was it is automatic so it will happen. ! And indeed it did happen a day before my return!! Horrible!!

                        I was travelling to China and decided to use Clay sim for data services and emergency calling. The data service never worked when i required it to. They should have provided a map of coverage areas instead of saying coverage all over China. When i complained on returning back Mr Kamal told me that the data was working just fine and there is nothing they can do about it. I couldnt go on with the complaint and wanted them to settle the bill ASAP so went ahead. !5 days later on 16 /09/2014, Rs 5000 apart from the billed amount was deducted from my account. I immediately called and was told by Mr Kamal Pathak that the amount had been decusted in case there is any future billing. They apparently could block the amount and had to deduct it. I have since followed up atleast 15 times about the refund for Rs 5000 and am told every time that they are doing it. I even got a email on 10/10/2014 that the refund is under process, but have still not recd it till 24/10/2014. I am the one still following up with them. These are really dubious business practices wherein they dont disclose everything and dont bother refunding security deposits. I guess they are banking on the customer forgetting about it.

                          The worst that you will ever get to use ever --- I happened to use Clay Sim card for Malaysia and it was the worst services that i’ve ever used in a very long time. My sim card wasn’t working ever since i landed and the customer support were honestly support-less. They just kept on making a fool out of me by saying that they have raised the issue and resolving it but never really worked for me. Apparently the sim never worked but these guys were pretty quick to send me the bill worth 1200rs for something i don’t remember using.!

                            Please be careful of anyone who approaches you from Clay Sim Cards at the Delhi Airport. I was travelling to Dubai and since i was looking for a cheaper option i landed up buying a so called “RENTAL FREE” plan. I got a shocker when i saw my bill which was charged a rental of some 50dirhams nd some crazy call back rates to India. Never trusting Clay with their services ever again.

                              By far the most pathetic services that i have ever used. I opted for a clay sim card for Singapore thinking i wud be connected with my family but i was a joke!! Connectivity and good network seems to be a joke when it comes to Clay Sim Cards.!! I coul barely makes calls back home leave alone receive them. All in all, frustrating and pathetic service

                                CLay Sim Cards is nothing but waste of money no matter how much they claim they are great and the best. I took their prepaid clay sim card for UK cz i knew my calls weren’t going to be much. But turned out mi trip i was frustrated with always being out of credit on the phone despite of no usage and their customer care doesn’t really seem to care in reality!! Overall really bad and frustrating experience using CLAY!!

                                    I was flying to China and was informed that Clay Sim Cards have the cheapest tariffs which i realised after paying a hefty bill of 25k that this is nowhere close to being cheap or affordable!! And their services aren’t even worth it. Poor connectivity and confused customer care employees. Neither using nor recommending.

                                        Using Clay Sim Cards is as good as using nothing. I was travelling to Malaysia and opted for their services, clearly which was a big mistake which i can say now. I realised that the moment i landed and till i came back, my sim never started. There were no signals, the customer support were candid in sayig that they cant do anything and to top it up they sent me a bill of some 1000 rs. 500 for minimum commitment, which i was never informed of and 500 for other rentals. Wow i actually was made to pay for a service that i didnt use at all!
