I have had a really bad experience with clay SIM card. I have been trying to get out of this contract with them for a student plan that I got for my daughter for UK. It's been more than a month of clearing all documents and bills which were never less than 20k everytime until we realised that the bills were being tampered with to make money and still they haven't disconnected the services and continue to send us bills. It's the worse that I had to deal with and it's just sucking my blood. Never going to recommend it to anyone.

    Clay International Sim Cards aren’t reliable at all… We had requested for a clay sim for London. Infact a lot of my friends weren’t in favopur o[censored]s using their services, but still we thought of giving it a shot thinking it won’t be as bad as our international roaming bills that we pay. The sales guy Rahul was very smart in selling us a plan saying that it will infact help us save on all our calling rates especially if we were calling mostly in India. I have to say, it was the most useless service that I have ever used in my existence. Their call rates were more expensive than my regular Vodafone rates, plus almost 5 times more expensive than picking up a local sim from there. The network was insignificant most of the times and the call would drop on regular intervals. It was a headache using their service honestly. Never using them ever again.

      I am currently in Malaysia and unfortunately stuck with a clay SIM card. I have tried all the means to get my issue resolved and but there is no help from their end. Not only have they disconnected the data on my phone, but the voice calls as well. Reason being that I have crossed the limit. Well I didn't know when I signed up that there was any such limit, and also how can limit be crossed if am only making local calls and receiving most of them. This is really terrible and harassing.

        Clay sims and their fraudulent bills --- I had used a clay sim for Singapore and returned it also within 2 days of coming back.. My first bill was generated around month end which was around 6000rs and which they directly debited without any intimation. Then they debited an amount of 6000 after 15 days without any intimation again. So when I called and demanded the bill for the second debit, they sent me some random bill that didn't even belong to me. Is has taken me several rude emails and countless calls to get a refund for my own money. Total disgrace! Pathetic service

          Clay sims are total waste --- my friend had asked me to use an international sim from clay, saying that they have really good services and I wudnt have any issues. Taking his word I bought a clay sim for London. Nothing worked ever since I put that sim in my phone. I couldn't even connect to their toll free number to lodge my complaint. To do so I had to borrow a phone and as embarrassing it cud get, the toll free number wasn't free. I think clay sims have the worst service in all ways.

          I gave my credit card details and made the biggest mistake with clay SIM cards. Even after clearing my bill worth 5467/- rs with clay for my Singapore, they again charged my card for charges against some US number. A number that I didn't use, infact haven't traveled to US! Clay sims can't be trusted with customer information as sensitive as credit card details. It's taken me 25 days to explain their mistake to them. Totally unacceptable and never using them again.

            Sub : Life threatening / Kidnapping calls Respected Sir, I am receiving Life threatening / Kidnapping warning calls from some person named Sunil from Mobile Number [protected] representing himself as recovery agent of Clay Telecom to my mobile phone & office land line phones. He had been calling & threatening me of the dire consequences and also using filthy language over the phone. He want to extort money from me on pretax of wrong billing (Your invoice no. CTA-DL[protected] which was earlier disputed by me. I had already lodged a formal complaint with the Police station as he misbehaved with the ladies staff in the office also. I request you to please stop harassing me or threatening me or else I will be forced to escalate the matter to highest authorities and take the legal recourse as available under the law.                 Poor quality product --- HI, I was traveling to Malaysia with my wife and on her insistence we got a clay international sim card to stay connected with our parents. While we had ordered the sim card online and requested to be delivered to us at the Mumbai airport. While the request was honored, but when we actually opened the packet, the sim card was destroyed from the chip side. It wasn’t reading itself in India as well. So when I called the sales guy to complain of this, he said now he cant do anything about it. I will have to pay for the sim charges even if the sim didn’t work, which ofcourse it didn’t. Very bad service, very bad product. A lesson learnt !!

                  Very inappropriate customer support staff --- Let alone their poor services, Clay Sim Cards have equally inappropriate and rude customer support team. While I was anyways facing a lot of issues with their voice calls in US, I was getting regular calls from their customer care for some random calls for updates on their plans and irrelevant stuff. I had to request them not to call cos as it is incoming is charged heavily in US plus with these jokers calling on regular intervals was shooting my bill. After this experience with them and clearing a bill of 25k I will never use Clay Sims for a place as basic as Singapore. Disappointment

                    I was traveling with my husband to Turkey and we thought of trying Clay Sim Cards for the same. Well it was a terrible decision. We had to buy a prepaid sim card for some 500 bucks which was still fine. But the services in Turkey were just unacceptable. The signals were poor all the time which made it practically impossible for us to even connect locally. And the data was so freaking expensive. Nobody informed us if

                    I had used clay sim in Singapore for their long term plans and we actually got it disconnected within a few months. My dad was being charged bills amounting to 20k every month while mostly I was only receiving calls. The idea of getting a number before I got there, proved to a crazy expensive deal. I mean really bad service or options in comparison to offers available there. I mean I was paying some 10$ for a data pack that didn’t work most of the times. And endless times that I complained at their support centre even with emails and calls, it would be resolved for a few days and then back to the same story. Its more peaceful to hve their service discontinued than using it. I am actually more connected now at a much cheaper cost.
                    I doubt of ever using a clay international sim again for any of my travels. Their services are not at all trustworthy. My phone stopped working within 3 days into my trip and u was in Sri Lanka. Desperate calls to the service ppl didn't do much either, all they kept assuring was that they would fix it but that fix never happened. Ultimately I stopped using the SIM card cz it was useless to me. It would have been better had I used my number than pay for a stupid service which didn't work in the end.
                    I decided to use a clay international SIM card for UK with their view that I would save some money on local calls since my calling was mainly within London itself. Turns out I was highly mistaken! They have billed me Rs 15000 for a 10 days only for local calls. It's a headache to deal with them for corrections now. First and last experience for me!!
                    Its 100 times better to use a locally procured sim card in Europe than take one from Clay Sim Cards. We did the biggest mistake of getting ourselves a European sim card from clay. After using their sim card across Europe, we realised we could have done a better thing by just getting a local sim card from there and getting a 5 euro top up wheneer we wanted. Clay sims are such scammers that they sent us a bill of 17000/- for 15 days. And when we asked them to verify the bill, they said that the detailed copy of the bill has been emailed which we haven’t got yet. After several emails and follows, we got our original bill which was close to 10k and accurate. Its advisable to double check their bills or infact only pay once they bll has been verified by you as their refund process takes ages.

                      I was left stranded on the London airport for more than an hour as the sim just didn’t register itself. It was a defective piece that was delievered to me for my usage in London. Glad I was carrying my indian number as back up and sure it was the oonly thing tthat I used there. Very bad experience and can totally say that clay sims just cant be trusted with anything.

                        Using Clay sim cards means bombing your credit card with massive bills. I used it for Thailand and landed up paying something close to 10k for 4 days. Its bloody insane. Directly charged to my card, with no email initimation or even a remote text when would it happen, they directly chrgedd it. When I carefully saw the bill, the number I was billed for, didn’t belong to me only. Somebody else’s bill was debited on my card. Heights of misusing customer information. Will definitely ensure all my friends and colleagues know of this!! Pathetic

                          We chose to use clay’s international sim card for belguim so that we could call home anytime we liked. But it was totally useless. There were hardly any signals on the phone and making calls were absolutely impossible. Trying to connect to their support numbers were also equally difficult. It was like you have a local clay sim card, but its ur luck whether it works or not. Had heard a lot of our friends talking about them, but foor us the experience was really terrible. Wont be using them again. Totally disappointing.

                            I was using a Clay sim card in Australia and I was facing issues with my data over and over again. Despiute several emails, there was still no respite from their end. So finally when I called clay’s service support team for some help, they were also equally useless. All theu kept saying that I should switch off and on the data and it would work. Well finally when I called the sales guy Rohan he said that my data pack wasn’t even activated so it was impossible for it to work. Well clearly shows how pathetic their ooverall services that its not even coordinated

                              I had used Clay international sim card for Singapore and instead of staying connected, I was totally disconnected. So much so that to call their customer care I had to use a payphone and still nothing got fixed. Seems like they have a really poor quality network coverage. Never using their services ever again. Infact its better to use ur indian number than be stranded and still pay a price foor it.

                                I had barely used the clay sim that I bought for England and I had one big fat bill worth 15k staring at me in my face.. Most if the times I was using data on wifi and my bill had 10k of data charges.. Unbelievable and is difficult to get a refund now.. I have been on it for 2 weeks now..

                                    Dear Sir, Recently I have used the telecom service of clay telecom in China by phone no. [protected] & RAF No. 275017 during 25th Jan-15 to 01st Feb-15. For that service I have received the invoice no. CTA-DL[protected] dated 09/02/2015 of Rs. 561.80. I have paid Rs. 562 on 16/02/2015 before last due date. As I have already paid the bill, still they have deducted Rs. 5000 from my credit card. During purchasing their services they took my credit card copy to hold the Rs. 5000.00 as security, and the same has been hold since 30/01/2015 by Falcon Business Resources Pvt Ltd., and finally they claimed from my account on 16/02/2015. They didn’t even wait for payment against the invoice. After that I am regularly following up with them but they didn’t respond me, and not even telling me the date when can I get my money back.                                       I was using a clay international sim for France and they have the worst customer care services. I had requested them to activated data on my number. Despite several calls, all with the same response that they are in the process, the data did not get activated at all. It got really difficult for me while I was there to respond to work emails and stuff. Quite irresponsible I must say.

                                        Very expensive for such inconvenience that comes along using a clay sim. I was with no connectivity for 3 days out of my 5 day trip in Singapore. I landed up buying a local sim card from there which was almost 5 times cheaper than the rates that clay sims were charging me for.
