[Resolved] ACT Fibernet — Pathetic customer care/mgmt.
Beam cable is one internet provider u'll take to cry ur days for. They have the most illiterate of reps. on customer care. The guys seems to have by-hearted the sentence " sorry for the inconvenience caused sir, we’ll forward the complaint and get back to you ASAP”, and the day never comes. They’ll keep sending you sms’s on ur mobile stating” i[censored]r complaint is not resolved in 24 hours, fwd this message to 9xxxxxx”. You do whatever you want to do, the bottom line is THEY’LL RESOLVE UR PROBLEM WHEN THEY WANT TO and you can go ahead and explain ur head out to them again and again, they just wont agree.
I took beam cable in Sep’08, but have to confess this has been a complete sorry story. Let’s go one by one:
1. They charge me 1500 for installation although there is a connection right next door to me. I agreed to this, who gives a if it’s really worth.
2. In-spite of my repeated requests, the given the responsibility to take payments always comes at 8:00 AM on a WEEKEND. Can you imagine??
3. It goes on, and then one day I have to move to another place 2 blocks away. The beam cable executives with all the talent they have got to harass and irritate people with something like – not responding at all (i.e going mum completely) as if they are with me on this, and u ask them the second moment – they have the aforesaid reply ready to be smashed on my face again.
They took 20 flat days to finally move my connection after me wasting a good sum on the calls to them and on top of that the harassment they left me with COZ THEY COMPLETELY DON’T UNDERSTAND ANYTHING.
4. Today was the final nail in the coffin, their executive for some reason couldn’t call/come to my place/ come to my office for a month to take the payment and voila—my connection has been disconnected. I gave a call day before and with the sweet asses they have sitting over there in their call center, got to know that it’ll get re-connected in a day. Well 2 days are already over and still nothing. The final call from me to them minutes back enlightened me that I didn’t pick a call twice today (on the mobile I am carrying – WELL THAT”S NEWS for me) and well here the [censored] he goes again “ I have forwarded ur prob, should be sorted in 24 hrs”. Then what did the guy I called day before did, took the complaint home and on it??
I really don’t know when this complaint would be tackled but really would want to smack the face of each guy sitting in their call center. Oh, almost forgot the icing on the cake, these guys never have a MANAGER in office. I have even got responses like “he’s in the loo” and “he’s gone for a smoke” from these guys. Such is the unprofessional attitude.
Let’s see what happens. Any guy knows the right way to tackle them, send me a reply…
