[Resolved]  ACT Fibernet — Pathetic customer care/mgmt.

Beam cable is one internet provider u'll take to cry ur days for. They have the most illiterate of reps. on customer care. The guys seems to have by-hearted the sentence " sorry for the inconvenience caused sir, we’ll forward the complaint and get back to you ASAP”, and the day never comes. They’ll keep sending you sms’s on ur mobile stating” i[censored]r complaint is not resolved in 24 hours, fwd this message to 9xxxxxx”. You do whatever you want to do, the bottom line is THEY’LL RESOLVE UR PROBLEM WHEN THEY WANT TO and you can go ahead and explain ur head out to them again and again, they just wont agree.

I took beam cable in Sep’08, but have to confess this has been a complete sorry story. Let’s go one by one:
1. They charge me 1500 for installation although there is a connection right next door to me. I agreed to this, who gives a if it’s really worth.
2. In-spite of my repeated requests, the given the responsibility to take payments always comes at 8:00 AM on a WEEKEND. Can you imagine??
3. It goes on, and then one day I have to move to another place 2 blocks away. The beam cable executives with all the talent they have got to harass and irritate people with something like – not responding at all (i.e going mum completely) as if they are with me on this, and u ask them the second moment – they have the aforesaid reply ready to be smashed on my face again.
They took 20 flat days to finally move my connection after me wasting a good sum on the calls to them and on top of that the harassment they left me with COZ THEY COMPLETELY DON’T UNDERSTAND ANYTHING.
4. Today was the final nail in the coffin, their executive for some reason couldn’t call/come to my place/ come to my office for a month to take the payment and voila—my connection has been disconnected. I gave a call day before and with the sweet asses they have sitting over there in their call center, got to know that it’ll get re-connected in a day. Well 2 days are already over and still nothing. The final call from me to them minutes back enlightened me that I didn’t pick a call twice today (on the mobile I am carrying – WELL THAT”S NEWS for me) and well here the [censored] he goes again “ I have forwarded ur prob, should be sorted in 24 hrs”. Then what did the guy I called day before did, took the complaint home and on it??

I really don’t know when this complaint would be tackled but really would want to smack the face of each guy sitting in their call center. Oh, almost forgot the icing on the cake, these guys never have a MANAGER in office. I have even got responses like “he’s in the loo” and “he’s gone for a smoke” from these guys. Such is the unprofessional attitude.

Let’s see what happens. Any guy knows the right way to tackle them, send me a reply…

I have no words to describe how pathetic their service is, and reaching cutomer care is like a dream, i can only hear the hold music for hours.
I dont have words to say how pathetic it is, i can just hear the hold music for hrs.
Sir I want to take a new connection and I was leaving in Tolichowki, Hyderabad.
Your dealer was saying that my home is too far that means approximately 100 feets so he cant give me a connection he is saying that minimum 3 persons should take the connection then he will put the box and give the connection. So my brother was taken a connection of TATA speed of 512 kbps @ 1320/- per month if you give a good service so my brother will also take the connection of BEAM for home purpose me having a system and my brother having a laptop so we use the system only at night time and i want 786 kbps which is 600/- per month, but there is a scheme for 3600/- for 5 months with the installation so please sir do something. Bcoz i want the connection urgently with in 4 days. Otherwise i go for other connection no problem what they will charge but they are not saying these all stories...

Beam Tele is worst Service provider due to the exp. I got from those people.

No proper IN TIME response...

Even we pay the bill regularly... just for one month they forces us to pay immediately at drop boxes.. thing is no collection boy comes to home.

yeah! Beam Cable online executives are pathetic.

i called them four times in 10 days to internet connection. Alas! no one ever approached me. Is this how they run out of their customers. Thanks God! it happened to me before taking me the connection, what would have happened after connections would have been taken.

I am Venkateswarareddy from chandanagar, Hyderabad your sevice is too worst i applied for internet 26th june and i paid for 6 months but you people not given connection finally your service people told my area there is no frees ability this message passed july month ending after that i asked pls give me refund still there is no reacton its too bad i never saw these kind of service in INDIA.

I'm prashanth from adilabad, I want to franchise in adilabad of beam cable broadband connection any possibility is there plz let me know...
I had gone for 256 kbps plan with beam broad band.The speed is so worst.This is the worst broad band I had seen ever.I am calling to customer care daily from last 15 days. When I raise a complaint with customer care, I get the rouge answer "It will be rectified within 24 hrs, our technical person will come to ur place".I am spending daily on my phone calls to log a complaint, but my complaint had not been resolved yet.
I suggest any one not to take Beam broad band.Go for any reliable broad band like airtel, bsnl, reliance if they provide service in ur area.
I too have faced the same situation. Whenever we call them the coputer generated voice say your call is important to us pl be on the line we will direct it to the customer care representative and the music starts and no one get connected. In intervals the same sentence, your call is important to us...repeats and the music starts again. This is how they give the importance to their customers.

i completely agree with you Gaurav..even am sick of their customer service..first time i took 6months subscription and after that period non turned up to renew my account again.though i called them a number of times.and you wont believe, almost after a month and half i could renew my account for another 6months..and this period should end on oct 14th, but it was deactivated almost 10 days before.as i was outstation i couldnt notice that, except my family members complaining me about that..and now when im trying to contact the customer care to renew my account again, trying to be patient, but non responded. i tried to call our areas beam cable guy, he came and collected the amount(but i gave only one months subscription this time), and said it will be activated in 5min and left. i called up after an hour, as it isnt activated again.he gave a technicians number, and asked to guide him my address.i think i called him more than 10 time, then he turned up, evening. he came as a formality and bluntly left saying that it isnt his are and that i need to contact customer care and file a complaint, so that they will send our area technician..after all this, still i thought of giving a last try and tried to contact this worst beam cable customer care, , ., the voice record prompts to press 1 if we are existing customer, so did i.. hah, its the same thing --"your call is important to us, please wait", , this is the only thing which you'll listen to, whatever time you wait..
again when i contacted our area guy, he advised me to log in as a new customer, so that my call will be attended.. mane, just see how worst and low commonsense is this beam cable management.. customer service should be good and in time, for any business to flourish and last long.. they should give, in time attendance to the existing customers..
Finally am sick with all this nuisance, unnecessary head aches by taking this beam cable connection, that too when their is no problem from the customer side..so guys, my sincere advise to those who want to take internet connection, better dont take this beam cable connection..600 isnt a big amount, so even i decided today and taking new connection tomorrow.. my account was "[protected]@yahoo.co.in", this is for the shame of beam cable management.if they happen to read this..

Thank u for all ur information.i am presently using MANA ISP.the server problems are too regular but these people have a quick response and good service.i was just thinking to change from this isp to beam just because of server problems.after reading these reviews, i decided not to enter into the zone of problems.the isp on which i am presently working is far better than beam.the response is too quick and they will respond to u as soon as u call them.and they charged only 500/- for installation and the internet connection was ready before i paid them.no waiting for login id.they gave me id immediately after installation and it worked as soon as they gave me.
BUT I AM VERY DISSATISFIED ABOUT SERVER DOWN PROBLEMS IN MANA ISP.
I feel I am very Lucky !!!

Last day I called to the customer care for the new connection and I asked for Installation charges It comes to me suprise when the agent told that It depends on Feasibilty and the Sales executive and Max charge can go uo to 2000 and there is no minim installation charges, , , , means the have given the liberty to Sales person to loot the money from the customers.

Belive me sales person started with 1400/- for installation and after bargaining he come down to 300/-

Even thought I am not ready to take the connection after going throuh all Info provided here.

Even charging money their behaviour seems to be working for Charity
