[Resolved] Aircel — online gprs | |
I requested for GPRS by sending SMS to Aircel. But they send the service is alredy activated. When I called customer care they asked me to go to aircell cell city(Customer care centres)for maniula setings. But cell city in tirupur are bill collection centres and they dont know technical details. Cell city people redirected me to Customer care. I have called morethan 70 times the customer care in the span of 90 days, each time different person are picking up and misleading me. Still it is not activated for me. Aircel internet pocket setting is wrong. I cant browse in computer. I get error 734 the ppp control link protocol was terminated. I called aircel customer care but the support is very worst every time when i call they will miss guide. They didnt solve the problem. They will tell lot of lies.

HAi Guys, Dont waste your time to call Customer care, Just Step in Aircel cellular City they will make it for u, i prefer to go (in chennai) Gunidy - little Mount, one smart guy i forgot his name he is doing excellent job, he did it for me & my friends for all brands & models...Thanks and regards. Aircel — GPRS - reg.
I'm using aircel postpaid. Since aircel introduced unlimited gprs service, I thought to try in prepaid. I bought a new prepaid sim and activated gprs. Then I received an sms that the service will be activated within 48 hours. But it took 6 days to activate, only after regular complaints. Then I tried connecting the mobile with PC. But no use. I called gprs cust care but no proper response. After a week's time, one person from gprs cust care told that my phone will not support the service. I use nokia 3120c. I can use the service with Airtel and vodafone. Poor response from cust care. Aircel should concentrate on customer care to deal with the customers in a smooth and quick manner. Or else the company may loose its customers very soon. My Name is Manik and my number is [protected], its been 7 days i have purchased Aircel number and recharged with 98 Rs for unlimited internet browsing and then had a word with customer care in order to activate gprs settings on my Nokia N81. He told me to send a message WAP to 121 and i would receive the setttins within 24 hours after that called 10 times to cc and they did nothing and when asked for supervisor they disconected the call

Aircel probably has the worst customer care ever.I was able to get thru only if i opted for new connection and the reaction was amazing. They are also not aware of how to solve ur problems. Its a Doityourself situation now. I have succeeded in finally setting up everything right for both phone browsing aswell as using the net on computer via bluetooth. The settings never came thru the promised sms!!!

I am sure the company does not want to lose its customers, although why don’t you try to reach out to the nodal officer in your area for a quicker response
please create a dialup connection without username(blank) and password(blank) with usbmodem(phone) and then use dialing number *99***1#
