i am ashish pandey i am using airtel sim fo last 5 year. airtel always cut my balance whenever i recharge. recently they dedudcted rs 150 from my account without any proper reason. i called to customer care but they didnt repond me. please help me .

I received a call from Airtel Customer Care and they heard my complaint and they assured me that they will credit 100 Rupees within 24 hours but 24 hours has been passed but till now my account has not been credited. This is really frustrating when they don't follow their words and just give false promise and assurance to the customer.


I am planning to report this in Pune Mirror so that they will get some taste of their bad image which they have created by cheating customers.

My name is Sulakshna. My mobile # [protected]. I have multiple issues with Airtel. Effective March 2011 there was no airtel network in my area , CRPF , Hakim pet post. On 03/02/2011 I recharged my phone with Rs 80.00 full talk time card. As per the plan we receive Rs 70.00 at the time of recharge and Rs 10.00 after 2 days. I received $70.00 at the time of recharge and I have not received the other part of Rs10.00. I called many a times for the same issue. I called Airtel Customer care thousand times and reached the Rep only few times because of poor Airtel network , I did not get my money back, Mean while I lost another Rs 50.00 stating I have selected a ringtone, which is baseless. Its been 4 years with Airtel, I have never set any ring tone, I now have
another reason added up for my dissatisfaction. Its not Rs 10.00 now. Its a matter of $60.00. I spoke to almost every body , the agents, Supervisor and also the Manager. On the top of it my calls are abandoned, My phone number is blocked , In the IVR there is no option to speak to the Rep. I tried calling with another Airtel No, even that is blocked now. Is this what you call customer service ? You not even attending customers... ignoring them...The sad part is the balance is still not credited though the Airtel network is back and working good now. Please credit my balance .

I have never set any wcvideo pack...I called many a times for the same issueI called Airtel Customer care thousand times and reached the Rep only few times.But i don't get any type of solution...AND my money is continues reducing.My phone number is blocked, In the IVR there is no option to speak to the Rep. I tried calling with another Airtel No, even that is blocked now. Is this what you call customer service ? You not even attending customers... ignoring them... AIRTEL MOBILE PREPAID SERVICES — Deduction of balance for the call not made

Rs. 56/- were charged from my airtel prepaid mobile for calling to 5660 and using that number for 87 min. First, no call was made from this number at the time told by the CSE.
Second, this number is invalid if you call from any other number, so its wiered to say that it was used for 87 min.
Third, the message for payment deduction was sent after 14 hours.
Looking at this I conclude that Airtel is using bad practices and looting consumers.
More serious thing is when CSE couldn't give any satisfactory answer.
Deduction of balance for the call not made
I called on customer care to ask for national msg recharge they told about 95 recharge where i get 500 msgs per day.

And i was not getting stable call summary after messaging or calls, sometimes i get sometimes not.

I got recharge of 555 for balance a week ago, got to know aftr 2 days my balance is 487 though i jus did one call of 6 mins to delhi from mumbai.

i called again and confirm message charges and they told it is 500 per day and will check to this balance deduction and the call got disconnected.

And now i have balance of i guess 80rs.

And today i got to know that on 95 there are 100 messages per day.

I am not earning looking for job and cant afford loss of around 400-500 rs because of this irresponsibility.

Kindly consider my problem and reiisue me the balance deducted because of this reason.

I am using airtel prepaid service in Nasik maharashtra.my mobile no. is[protected]. 4-5 days back airtel deducted Rs.34/- from my a/c without any reason. When i called them up they told me that some JAVA game was activated & for that the amt. has been deducted. But i have not activated anything from my side. I told them to deactivate that immediately. & they told me within 24 hrs. The said service will be deactivated & they assure me that the same thing will not happen again. But today[protected] they have again deducted Rs.20/- from my a/c & send 2 mssg that Rs.20/- has been charged for some game. but again I have not activated anything from my side. I have tried several times to contact their customer care no. but no one is there to answer the phone. Only some computerized recorded mssg is coming…how can they deduct amt from my a/c without any reason? Please help. Otherwise I have to switch from airtel to some other service provider. And I want ans. From company otherwise I will launch the complete in consumer forum.
my mobile no.is 91 [protected] and a balance of Rs.10/ was deducted from full talk recharge dedicated account of *123*6# type,while sending sms to a local airtel no. 91 [protected]....despite the fact that sms pack was already present of type *123*2# type and the sms also did reach the destination phone no.

I am receiving message from airtel <AD 54321>
Message displayed that<"Thanks for using 1 Subscription service from Airtel. You have been charged Re 1. ">
and I'm receiving this message since 18 March 2011 till 1 April.
I have already complaint on 198 but no response and they sent " Request Reference number" and they are not taking any action..
I've lost 7 to 10 rs between these days..
My Complaint number 198 is also blocked by customer care executive.
when I type < LAST> and send it to 121 then it also reply with last 5 Deduction but customer care executive says that no Balance deduction has made by us and I have already registered with DND(Do Not Disturb) but Airtel send me Promotional message frequently.
I've stored these messages which are sent by airtel as PROOF..

Please take action as early as possible.

I am using airtel mobile from long time but from last year I convert it in to prepaid. I observe from last year airtel start any services on mobile so I change my multimedia handset to nokia1200 so no multimedia use. On 3apr 2011 I made one call and observ that my prepaid balance is 1.44 paisa so I call 198 to make complain that time executive agree that service start from there end automatically and agree to revert my deducted balance in 4hr. After 4 hr I have not recive same to call 198 again that time they told srevice apke end se chalu huyee hai. Agar mai DND me register hu then how can it possible to airtel to send me call/sms. And I have not recive there call/sms then they say aapne aapke mobile se service shuru ki hai. Agar mail DND register karke is zanzat se mukti chahta hu then why I start any service.. Pls pls help me. This happening with my other 2-3 home number also.
WITH IN FEB TO MAR MONTH AIRTEL HAVE DEDUCTED SOMETHING AROUND RS 300/- FOR DOWNLOADING CHARGES,EVERY TIME THE DEDUCTION IS OF DOWLOADING GAMES WHICH I AM NOT DOING,BUT AGAIN AND AGAIN SAME THINGS ARE GOING ON, IAM SORRY TO SAY THAT I SHOULD MOVE TO ANOTHER SERVICE PROVIDER FOR BETTER SERVICE.

Airtel — Unjustified deduction in my mobile balance

My balance was reduced by Rs. 30 for 'all friends chat' service provided by Airtel . i immediately unsubscribed the service, yet my balance has not been restored. i want my balance to be restored as i discontinued the service and haven't used it or subscribed for it.

This is Aravind .I am using Airtel prepaid mobile.On April 2nd 2011 I had gprs balance in my mobile ,so im using this with mobileoffice settings.Simply im browsing in opera,suddenly I got a sms like you have been charged 20 rs for downloading game.Then I made a call to airtel customer care,he said airtel live you used,I said him many times ,like no im using mobile office settings.he didnt care my words,

after 4 days ,i.e 6th around 9.30 I got one more sms like you have been renewed for Games Club subscription from Airtel again more 20 rs deducted(but the thing is here,in this day morning around 7 o clock ,i stopped this service by dialing *121# then chosen options for stop service etc.Balance is deducted around9.30.Then made a call to customer care,he gave answer like you cant stop a service by dialing *121# if not why they put this facility . I dont know why this Airtel cheats the customers like this way

AirTel — Balance Deduction and No Help from Airtel Customer Care

I am using Airtel Number [protected]. Today on[protected] at 19:04 I accessed GPRS on my handset for 2 minutes and data transferred is about 300KB. And I am charged Rs. 21.60 for this. My Airtel Connection belongs to UP (West) and currently I am in Jodhpur, Rajasthan. I called 121 and the customer care executive asked to contact 198. I, then contacted 198 and the person on the line told me, they do not have my information and asked me to contact Airetl UP (West) Customer Care. I tried UP(West) customer care a couple of times, but can't get through the welcome message. Further they charged Rs. 5.40 for that and NO HELP.

Since I am roaming, they are not providing any help.

AirTel — Balance Deduction

I am using Airtel Number [protected](TN). On 09/04/2011 I sent a message to my friends in group. I have free national and Local SMS booster but they deduced 35upees. Sine I sent it in group i din't notice my balance. balance got deduced from 40 to 5 rupees. I complained to Customer care but it is not solved yet.

Olden days customer care was verygood in airtel and they used to solve the problems then and there, But now a days none of the complaints are solved properly.

Some times I have 300 - 400 rs balance and i will not check the balance regularly. If airtel does like this i am afraid to keep this much balance. If these things continues to happen then i am planning to change to other service provider.

i have recharged my airtel account.my balance was Rs.60.on today morning i got a message that my balance has been debited by Rs.50 on downloading so and so.but the fact is tyhat i have not downloaded anything so when i called customer care no answer is been given so please refund my account niether i have to switch to other service providers rather than airtel
