Airtel Broadband — Billing and Shifting

I had shifted my residential premises and requested for connection to be relocated. Airtel did honour that in a few days time after receiving all documentatins. Unfortunately since 6 months i had been trying to get the address changed so that i can receive bills on time and nothing happend. I escalated to their escalation dept., but everytime it was a blanket promise that the bills will reach the same day and apologies... frustrated i disconnected. On top of this after disconnection, i got the bills and the courier representative was showing faces to my family which is the most irritating part. If companies cannot take care basic address update i wonder how they will handle technical problems!!!! God Bless Airtel!!

Airtel is running a chating n frayd business all ovr India. We shifter mumbai on 1st July n immediately i called them for commection (Airtel broadband)...but since then they have been giving me complain numbers only n no action or sometime they also say that their systems are not working so in whole Mumbai they have no internet connection so you hv to wait for 15 days and so like that. In the name of earned reputation they are doing enough to make people fool bt this way they will have to lost their name...

Airtel Broadband — No connection after 16 days

This is Ameya from J, P Nagar (7th Phase) Bangalore. I'd a very bad experience with Airtel Broadband.

I applied for broadband connection on 12th July 2011. Submitted all the necessary docs, with a check of INR 500 and cash INR 750 (for modem, salesman insisted on cash for modem) to the salesman. He verbally committed to deliver connection by 15th July.

When I called on 15th July, he said, due to a technical problem, it will take 3 more days.

Called him on 18th July. He again postponed the date by 2 days. This time I asked for final committment or return of my money. He agreed.

Called him on 20th July. He did not pick up my calls (tried @ least 10 times). Sent him 2 messages. No reply. With lots of irritation, called the customer care, who said that the commitment date in system is 26th July (so the salesman was fooling me). He refused to take any complaint before 26th July.

Did not get connection by 26th July. Forget about coneection, there was no call or no communication of any sort from Airtel's side. Lodged a complaint at their customer care on 26th July about 9pm. I was assured that i would get a call from Airtel within 12 hours to sort out the issue.

Forget about 12 hours, there was no call even after 24 hours. Fed up with this unprofessional attitude of Airtel, I requested to cancel the application and refund of money. I was informed that I will be approached by someone form Airtel within 12 hours to initiate the cancellation process. There is still no response.

I am fed up with Airtel. Looks like they are happy with existing customer base and don't care about new customers.
The sales person to whom i submitted the form is Ravindra G ([protected]).

Airtel — no services from past 6 days.

My no is [protected], on 10th i got my sim port from reliance GSM to Airtel. i filled the form, given documents and photo. they told it will start in a week time. i waited patiently for that, it got started in a dew time. suddenly it stopped on 25th july. i went to the mobile shop named Mobile hut in sector 21c. he enquired and told me that u have to fill the form again with the proof. i did that even and went myself to their office by hari om enterprises at vidya mention near neelam flyover. Mrs.Jayashree told your sim will start in half an hour.
but nothing happened.
i keep on calling 10 times in a day from that day , but still it is not working.
i enquire that if there is any fault from my side they told no its fault on our airtel side that our zonal area manager has gone to US and our manager is also on leave.
why should i suffer without any fault.
after constant pressure to them my phone started on 29th july just for 6 hour and again without any intimation services went off.
this is pure cheating, doesnt they have to inform before cutting the services of the holder.

The issue with broadband is still not resolved.

I have put request for relocation of my connection from bangalore to gurgaon on 20th Jun. The line was disconnected immediately and account was removed from online profile. A week later i received call from customercare asking to relocate but as i was in transit i asked them to get it done a week later.



After that i have been calling all along but could not get it done till today, i.e. 1 month and 10 days. After following up for 4-5 days they told me that bill was generated for the month and now that i have to clear. Gurgaon Airtel outlet were not accepting the payment, online portal was not accepting as they have removed the account. Somehow i managed to to make the payment. Please note here that i was not informed about this earlier.



Since then i have been calling customer care 4-5 times everyday. Out of 5 times 4 times they will put be on hold for more than 2 mins and will then disconnect the call. I have a airtel postpaid connection so you can easily check how many times i have been calling customer care. At times It is ridiculous to know that they have absolutely no clue of the status or they wont be able to find the details. Bangalore customer care told me to call Gurgaon customer care and Gurgaon customer care told me to call Bangalore customer care...

Airtel Broadband — Issue in the Payment

Hi,

I got a call from Airtel customer care saying that they are upgrading their website from 9th to 19th July and suggested that they will send a person to collect the same.

My wife paid Rs 1300/- to that person and collected the receipt. After one week got a call from the same customer care saying that they haven't received the payment and I explained and gave the invoice number and that lady made a note and said thanks.

Now I got a message saying that to make the payment immediately to enjoy continued service and got this months bill for 2608. I'm very unhappy with the way they work.

Airtel Broadband — Irresponsible and threatening behaviour

Hello,
I got my internet broadband connection some two months back, since first week itself I asked to change my plan. I requested the customer care to do so and nothing happened, I got extra bill. After that I requested them again to rectify it and nobody bothered to listen to my plea. I then, decide to cut the connection and not pay bill until this issue is fixed. (Why should I pay extra?). The bill collectors called me I told them the issue, every time some new guy called and I have to explain the whole thing again that's during my office hours!
One day I was in a meeting and a call came again, I told them I'll give you a call after I finish my meeting. And what they did? They called me 30 times in 5 hours! 30 missed calls?!?!? Next day I told them I am not going to pay the ball I want to talk to your superiors for this behavior. For a few days calls didn't come. And then again they started coming.
Today I got a call from a person who was talking in a tone which anyone would feel as offensive. They asked to even "meet", I said I'll complaint to consumer forum only then I'll pay and the reply was "there are many of our cases pending there, you can add one more", and "there are many cases, will you risk yourself for 2000 Rs." he then called again, this time his superior talked, and he was again same. is this the kind of goons this organization employs?

Now tell me people, what am I supposed to do to such a behavior?
Enough of political promises. So far, there is ABSOLUTELY no attempt by Airtel to get in touch with me. This is 8 days after I had officially lodged the complaint on Airtel's customer care. PATHETIC. Absolutely govt style processes you have.

Anyways. I WANT the date by which you will REFUND my money, positively. And I want the date LATEST by tomorrow. If you want to have more information, pls call me on my cell. You can find it either a) looking into your customer care DB by my complaint ID or b) from my application or c) from my mail that I;ve sent to [protected]@in.airtel.com. I'm serious. WAKE UP
Dear Rakesh Ranga,

Thank you so much for the update, however this is not been resolved as when I tried to make the payment for this month it is still showing Rs 2, 608.38. Please look into this and make the system to show only this months amount without any late payment fee.

Airtel Broadband — last 10 days not working - poor service

With a worst experience I am forced to this post. I have net connection for the past few years. Net connection is not working properly. It is getting disconnected very often within a span of 10 – 15 mts. It is routine process to book a complaint with airtel. From 25.4.2011 we have this frequent disconnection. We did not get any proper response from Airtel.

For information we have given several complaints and without resolving the issue the account has been closed. On 11.8.2011 you can see many complaint numbers along with serveral person coming on phone but nothing is solved. When we asked to keep the ticket open they are not doing so. Each and everytime they give different support request number. If the technical persons cannot solve the problem they simple ask us to switch off and switch on the modem. The moment we proceed with their instruction the phone get disconnected. Another time a new person comes on line. Really fed up calling airtel every day and getting complaint number without solving the problem. We checked our side and it is very clear that it is airtel problem but still no one agrees. Very Poor Service, Very Poor Customer Care...

Airtel Broadband — Charges

Last year, we had requested for Static IP for 1 year. While applying, we had clearly informed to the customer care that automatic renewal should not be done as the requirement is only for 1 year. Inspite of this, Airtel renewed static ip without taking our permission and has charged us Rs. 2,500 for the same. We have been calling Airtel customer care for the last 2 months but in vain. Horrible response and horrible customer service. They keep repeating the same like a broken taperecorder and dont even bother to listen to what we are saying.

Is there no end to this?

Airtel — not working even after paying advance bill

Dear Sir / madam

I want to draw your attention towards the carelessness of such a big company "Airtel". We have 4 company's connection in which two are not working even after paying advance payment, no. are 45491147
& 45491148 . Employees are facing major problems as outgoing has barred on these two number. After making several compaints to airtel customer care, nodal office and appellate , nothing has resolved .Everytime customer care executive give some complaint no. and assurance to sort out the problem.

Airtel Broadband — No connection Setup

I had applied for airtel broadband connection 0n 17 july 2011 and it has not yet been put up. this is second time that i am putting up my complaint. I have marked many mails to airtel presennce, nodal officer, appellate officer, costomer care. but in vain and my connection is not put up.

My caf number is 2787485. and i have paid rs 500 cash as advance for the connection and applied for Solo 599 plan

My complaint numbers at customer care are 1976504, 1151590, 1976504, 1672690, 11792429. which have been closed without any resolution being done

Calling to concerned people like suraj karki the territorial manager, amrish tsm, sales executive vijay, vikas,customer care supervisors mayur, mayank has provided no solution to my request and i have spend almost Rs 150 more to keep on calling these people


I want my money to be refunded which i had paid at time of filling up the form

Airtel Broadband — no proper response

we asked for airtel broadband on 20july, 500 was given for initial payment.for morethan 2weeks no one contacted us. if we call customer care, they said connection will be provided in 24hrs on each time we called them.so we cancelled our request on 9 august and asked for refund.they said it will take 10days. but now they said it will take 15 days.my request no for connection is 1201410,for cancellation is 1986898 & 2715500

Airtel Broadband — most disillusioned

My land line cum broad band services are dead for the last 11 days...Repeated complaints and abuses also does not seem to work with this company. My land line and internet connections are down and till date they have just ignored and done nothing about it to sort the problem. In today's world communication and networking is the life line for most urban people and lackadaisical approach in solving customers grievance is unacceptable. I have decided to do away with Airtel services as I am so disillusioned by their services.

Airtel Broadband — No response for any complaint and false promises and fake bills

Hi,

On 28th May we applied for a transfer of my IPTV connection along with broadband from Gurgaon to Noida, They disconnected the connection by making sure all outstanding bills paid.

For 45- 50 days we continuosly and approximately daily called Airtel customer care and to the people whose numbers were given but they said "Port is not open for you connection so not possible."and again for june we are getting call to pay bill however there is no connection with us.

After this another guy came to us saying " Sir/Madam, transfer team has closed your case, now please apply a new connection and this will solve your problem and you will get connection in 3 days" We did this having no choice and paid a check of rs 500.again

after 3rd day we called and asked about connection , and guy said pls wait for next 3 days.we again started this process of calling daily 2-3 times and finally we asked them not to connect and reimburse 500 Rupees, now they came and connected after 20 -25 days now it is August 12th already.

This connection worked only for 1 day and phone line and broadband both stopped working, we again called them up and logded complaitns 10 times(by the record) each time for approximately 40 minutes (due to hold and all from customer care) every time they promise a time and date and then we keep on waiting and nor response comes. and now we will have a bill for this month with no usage since it worked only for a day.

We seriously request to have a strict action, they have made us literally MAD for this connection we have wasted so much money on calls and for this transfer and again for a new connection which initially they promised that transfer is easyliy done with only 300 charged.

Can you please take a strict action to make them realise that some authority is there to keep track of there such nonsence with customers?
