Dear Sir,
I have a prepaid mobile No. of Airtel[protected]Punjab ans Haryana circle).
One year validity expired on 27 Feb 2009.
I could not recharge on time as I was out of the state.
But there was a balance of about Rs1453/- which was unused.
Airtel in Delhi has a policy of offering extension of validity on SMS, but i received no such SMS.
I ultimately got a one year recharge for Rs246/- on 21.03.2009 from Airtel Relation Centre, Manimajra
with assurance that the previous balance will be added but it has not been done. I have since taken a lifetime validity for Rs99/- and a topup of Rs100/-. Please ensure that the previous balance is credited to my account

    already i have given complaint for 3 times but i didnt get any response from stupid airtel wap services and still deducting 10rs daily.so plz kindly deactivate my subscription. My no [protected]. please do the needfull.

    Airtel — Archies comics Subscription

    I have been using my connection for the past 2 years now and for the past 1 year regularly Rs 10 is deducted from my account twice a month ,stating that i have renewed my subscription for Archie's comics,whereas i have not done anything of this sort. Had registered complaint 'bout the same to Airtel last year and they said that it will be dealt with ,but that has not been the case. I suggest strong action be taken against the service provider for not rectifying the fault of their customer.

      Dear all,

      I purchased an airtel usb modem from Univercell chennai and could not install properly. When contacted the customer care, they came up with the answer, that it wont work with Vista Ultimate. But in Airtel website, they have specified operating system as Vista only and not distinguished between home and Ultimate.

      However, I installed and connected in Vista ultimate, and the speed is from 0.1 Kbp/s - 6.6 Kbp/s.

      All the telecom indsutries put fancied advertisements and when literally purchased, you end up with making a fool of yourself.

      This happens only in India...Sorry to say that...I have used vodofone datacatd in UK, and Bigpond datacard in Melbourne, all exactly do what is being specified with a whopping 1.8 mbp/s speed.

      But alteast, if the USB modem gives the committed speed of 64 kbp/s that would be some solace.

      We need to boycot all the datacards in India,

      I am highly disappointed with the Internet Speed which is given by my Airtel USB Modem. It has been around 1 month since i have purchased the instrument & I was told before taking that the instrument would given upto 200 mbps & above speed. But, it hardly gives 5 to 6 mbps. I am not ablt to open any web sites & thinking about uploading any photos is a sheer waste.



      I want to return the instrument back & get back my Money, which is around Rs. 3500 & Rs.1000 as a security deposit. I have used it not even for 5 day in this 1 month period. Request you to consider my case & take back the instrument.

      Airtel USB Modem — very poor speed at usb modem

      I have purchased a USB Modem from airtel two days ago. I am getting speed of 0 kbps to 3 kbps. Some times once in an hour reaches to 5 kbps too . It has reminded me of 12 years old net connection services. I have tried to lodge complaint at Local Kanpur office and on airtel Customer care but in vain. Customer care says it is an hardware problem so talk to local office and nobody at Local office is ready to attend the complaint.

      What should I do ?

      Dear Airtel,
      I have recently taken the Airtel USB Modem connection, Unlimited plan. The purchase was made from Touch Tone Marketing. I have immediately informed and mailed the customer service after figuring out that the connection is 256 Kb/s which connects at only 5.0 Kb/s and has been of no use to me.
      I did not receive any communication from the customer service, i did inform Touch Tone associate and he visited the Airtel Customer Svc located on the 100ft rd, Indiranagar, and was asked to send the customer with the laptop.

      I did go on 9th july to the same Airtel center and was informed that the Touch Tel associates shall sent a technical person to check my connection.

      Let me make this very clear!!! i am not going to afford to waste my money on a pathetic product and the customer service offered to me.
      I would request you to kindly put this issue on the highest priority on your agenda and have this resolved ASAP!!!

      It would not be my concern if the area i stay has no good connectivity as this was one of the reason i was told might be the issue, but shows full coverage on a Airtel mobile and the interface.
      Get one thing rite if the infrastructure or the back bone for the service is not in place than please dont market your products to those areas.

      I look forward to an immediate response on the same, or will go to an extent to write to the corporate office demanding a refund!!!

      I was'nt expecting this reply, infact i was hoping that i would receive some assistance to help me resolve this issues ASAP!!!
      My contact details had been taken at you Airtel Customer Service and i have not yet been contacted.

      I regret my decision for not checking the reviews online before taking this connection and also read about the customer service.

      Please do know this is no Govt organization where you people just keep forwarding concerns to various departments.
      I would have appreciated if you had intervened in this matter, to help resolve a customers grievance.

      I would have to speak to Mr. Sanjay Bhambri directly to get his attention to this pathetic customer service and delays for reasons not know to us!!

      Airtel USB MODEM Tourture
      I've taken USB Modem on 29th Aug 09 from Bannerghatta Main Road Airtel office Bangalore by paying Rs 4000 ( four thousands)

      On 10th Sep 09 connection has suspended without my notice when i contacted Airtel customer care they intimated me that Verification department ordered them to do it.

      Then i requested Airtel department for Verification Customer care lady informed they will be coming my home on Saturday (12th Sep) so i was waiting for them from 10 AM to 7 PM nobody came

      Sunday holiday, so called on monday directly to Venkat - (USB Model Sales guy Airtel) - Bannerghatta road where i got the hardware and SIM. he suggested me to contact nodal officer Meenakshi

      On 14th sep 2009, Afternoon at 1 PM Airtel verification executive came to my home done the verification and took my signature and promised me that SIM will be activated in another 3 hours time. as promised i got my internet conenction back at 7 PM in the evenning same day.

      On 15th Sep 09 again it's not connecting when checked with Airtel they are again telling verification is not done. so outgoing has been barred . then who's the person who came to my home on 14th Afternoon, ?

      I feel Airtel is un organised company more over they are buggers better don't fall in their net
      Please go for Reliance or any other wireless internet providers, you may feel slow internet connection but toruture & outgoing proof you will get

        hai im deepak frm gurgaon i resign bharti at 2nd march 2009 frm this date still there is no process to should be confirm frm hr department side nd most important matter is very cheap management nd HR dept.both sitting in gurgaon hub there is no any systematic work . i realy tel most of employees are nt satisfied frm management of gurgaon im realy shocked nd surprised wen im resign frm dis company.

          I am using airtel connection since long time 2-3 years, now i submitted my application Airtel outlet, garh road, meerut for changing the plan on 9th March 2009, On 22nd Evening i tried to phone but recd message -nos are not correct 1 no tried, other no tried failed, i querried and came to know that my connection is temporary withdrawn without any information, i am unable to understand why? As I have deposited again my id proof at Garh Road, again I visited at Garh Road, Meerut, application with ID proof is pending still in drawer, I get received a copy of my application and came back, still it is not in working condition.

            I purchase AIRTEL Digtal TV connection on last Monday i.e 16-03-09 by paying Rs. 1750/- with three month free subsriciption, with my VC no.[protected] STB [protected] ID no. [protected], My service activate on afternoon at 1 P.M . On tuesday when I check my account, I was shocked it was showing -1750 /- . I immidaitely contacted to the dealer who assured me it will be correct by the evening . Next day again I approached to the dealer i.e Dish Shoppee shop no. 7862, Opp. PSEB office Sirki Bazaar . On my complain he talked with Mr. Parveen Sharma service Manager of the area and give the detail, who again assured that this is internal problem & my service will not interrupt . On[protected] at 4 P.m. I receive a threatening call from phone no. [protected] of Mr. Kamal from Airtel office New Delhi that I have not paid Rs. 1750/ - so, immidaitely pay the charges otherwise the service will be stopped . I told that person that by paying the ammount I have taken the dish, & the company has started the activication . So, it is your responsibilty to check the fact without harrassing me. I again contacted to Mr. Parveen Sharma service Manager as well as to the dealer that what is going on . but agian I got same asssurance that my service will not stopped any way. They also gave me cash card no. of Rs, 1750/- . But all of sudden today on 22-03-09 the service was stopped by the company, showing how they can cheat us ? ? ?

              Sir,

              I am the customer of your telecom with mobile no-[protected] for last 10 years. For this loyality i got a very good remarks by your company, I would like to tell you that my no as mentioned above has been deactivated on 11th of March without prior information when i asked to your customer service people i got replied that i need to submit my ID Proof to get activated again. After getting this information by next day on 13th of march i submitted copy of driving licsence as ID/address proof at 18 pusa road karol bagh. After doing this i was supposed to get activated my no. within 48 hours. But it didn't happen after the given time i made contact again with your executives and asked to submit again i did the same on 17th of march but in vain.

              A consumer never expect such kind of pathetic service from Brand like Airtel . I suffered a lot during this period .
              I therefore, request you to kindly attendon this matter ASAP. I shall be very much obliged to you for the act of kindness.

                  A BHARTI AIRTEL REPRESENTATIVE APPROACHED ME ON 1-FEB FOR DEMONSTRATING BROADBAND SERVICES AT MY LALBAUG ADDRESS. I HAD OPTED FOR RS 499 PM FOR BROADBAND INTERNET SERVICE WITH 2MBPS SPEED AND 1 GB LIMIT. I HAD PAID DEPOSIT OF RS 500 FOR THE MODEM. THE CHEQUE IS DRAWN AGAINST "BHARTI AIRTEL LTD" AND MONEY IS WITHDRAWN FROM BANK A/C ON 5-FEB. THE PERSON IS NOT REACHABLE ON GIVEN NUMBER SINCE THEN AND NOBODY HAS CONTACTED ME FOR ACTIVATION. 50 DAYS HAVE PASSED SINCE THEN. I STRONGLY WISH TO LODGE A COMPLAIN AGAINST THE FRAUD AND UNPROFESSIONALISM SHOWN BY AIRTEL AND PLAN TO BRING THIS TO CONSUMER SERVICE CELL IF THE MONEY IS NOT REPAID IN A WEEK.                   Hi all,
                  I am arun from chennai. I am working as a Senior Software Engineer. For doing freelancer project i need internet connection facility. On 10.02.2011 i book airtel broadband one guy (narashiman customer care executive) called me and told me that "Connection is available in your area one of our executive will come to ur room shortly you need to provide the valid documents.". One of the airtel executive Mr venkatesh called me and he came to my room and he got 500 rs and room rental document and pan card document and one airtel broadband application form and He told me "Sir tomorrow we call u and we will provide u the internet connection tomorrow and i will call u and tell u the booking number at night".So i commited lot of responsibilites regarding the freelancer project. But he didn't called me at night So i make a call to him yesterday morning. he asked excuse and told me that "Your register number is CH1139597". After that one guy called me and asked me some questions that where is ur area and tell me any landmark so it is easy for us to provide internet connection. such like that. so i had told him about my residence. until night i didn't get any call. So i called the person his name is navaneethan. and asked about the internet connection. He told me, in that area we able to provide only 35 connection so already we provided 35 connections in that area. so we unable to provide u the internet connection. So immediately i called to mr.narashiman, and i asked about it. He told sorry sir we cant able to provide u the connection we will refund u the money. But my loss due this play will be nearly 25,000. Airtel broadband customer care executive are really doing forgery activities.

                  Airtel — Fraudulent Bill Plan and unprofessionalism

                  In response to my following complain to AirTel I got an acknowledgement mail from AirTel with reference number given as 46378386. For the complain registered on 14th May I was told in the mail that AirTel will back to me by 15th May 10:30 AM. I haven't received any response from them till today (20th May).
                  I contacted AirTel customer care but they have no clue.

                  Complain:
                  Hi,

                  I have a broadband connection at home. My fixed line number is[protected].
                  My plan was 1099 Rs which offered 1MBPS download speed with download limit of
                  25 GB under FPU (after that speed would be reduced to half).
                  I did a top-up of 100 Rs last year to increase the speed to 2 MBPS with same
                  download limit.
                  So according to my current plan billing amount exclusive of taxes is 1199 Rs
                  monthly with download speed of 2MBPS and limit of 25GB under Fair Usage Policy.
                  But I have been getting 1MBPS speed even after the top-up and have never
                  received 2MBPS speed.
                  I am AirTel broadband customer from 3 years and I do not expect such unethical
                  behavior from AirTel.

                  respected sir, i RAJU DAS recharge my airtel with Rs.-10/- at nearly 1.40 p.m. 03.09.2011 and i did not any outgoing calls or any sms which is chargeable from my mobile [protected], then why airtel reduce into my balance 1.80/- for unnecessary reason, i also complaint u that it is not a first time, i inform to customer care at near about 8.00 p.m. but they not reply positive answer.......i inform to u that i already recharge my airtel internet pack 98/- of every month, so why my balance came down on 1.80/-, I hope, u take to needful steps and refund my balance very soon then I will take legally action on airtel.

                      I have applied for pre paid connection to post paid conversion 3 months back. An irresponsible person called Dananjay, his contact number-[protected] has came to my office and collected money (450 rupees) from me. He has not remitted any receipt for that even i have made several request.
                      Later he has given me one more phone number ([protected]) for a person called Maruthi (A useless and lier in this world). Whenever i called, he use to bluff me a lot that your address verification has to be completed and today night the connection will be activated. But all in ruin...

                      Even after 3 months they have not activated my connections and i lost more than 200 rupees by simply calling them.

                      I feel that i should get justice and these irresponsible persons must be punished by the airtel top level management.

                        Airtel company is charging Rs. 20 anytime of internet usage which i am not using at all. Despite of my all complaints and their assurance of refund of the amount incorrectly charged by them, inspite of refunding they are still charging Rs. 20 any day for internet usage. And they are also charging for Hello Tunes which i have not asked to Install but still they charge for them. Approx. they have charged Rs. 500 from me for all this Please do the needful so that Airtel will stop charging this amount and the refund of the amount which they have charged incorrectly.

                            Hi! my name is pradeep using airtel mobile connection no. [protected]
                            i received and sms from airtel asking me if i would like to start the GPRS internet connection service, for which i declined, but they started this service by themselves and i found that my account is deducting some money as and when my emails are downloading, ( even without making and settings).
                            i went to my nearest airtel customer care centre, where i was asked to call 999 to discuss about this, i was kept on hold for over 5 minutes ( how irresponsible). then i went to one of the airtel staff with my complain and she told me that in my account its showing ( internet connection service deactivated) but still they are deducting the money from my prepaid account. she was helpless about it and told me that it will take 48 hours to get any reply from them.
                            2 hours later i get a sms from airtel, saying ' thanks for contacting airtel, we would appreciate you last feedback, if you satisfied with the last feedbakc sms ' YES' else 'NO' to toll free no. 876, which i did as 'NO' and they charged Rs. 1.50/- for this sms.
                            is this some kind of joke they play with customers, such a big company with such a poor systems and ripping off the customers.
                            how disgusting. shame of airtel.

                            Airtel — worst connectivity, network and customer care feedback

                            my airtel mumbai number is [protected]. From the last march i'm regularly facing problems like network problems, connectivity problems, internet connection disconnected in ever 2 minutes again n again, call droping problem, n specially experienced the worst airtel customer care support.
                            From march i'm regularly complain for all above but no problem have been solved .
                            I can't complain any thing from my [protected] number because from march whether its 121 or 198 ,my call drops before i connected to customer care executives. I am also complained for this issue several times but as usual no response. I have to log my complaints from my other airtel numbers.
                            The customer care center n executives are the wrist i have ever seen, they even don't write the complaints from us and disconnect call whenn we ask them why u r not solving the problems.
                            I thing airtel should change his objective from highest to lowest standard of conduct and professionalism

                              Dear Sirs It is really pathetic to understand that the system management in Airtel is far below satisfactory .Last night my incoming was barred just because of Rs.mere 300 deficit and it is old connection and just see the kind of revenues i have given you in these recession times . Also i had a word with abhishek yesterdat at 11.00 pm vide interaction ID[protected] and he confirmed me that my both outgoing & incoming would be activated in maximum 4 hours which never happened .Now when i called today in morning at 9.00 am vide interaction id[protected], the senior executive told me that there is no problem from their end and the mobile no. is working fine whereas from last nite till date my no. is still not working . I am having another 10 connections under the name Shubham Impex - [protected], [protected], [protected], [protected], [protected] etc.and when i told them that i want to close all these accounts out of frustration, she went on very fine saying this that i may go ahead and close them all.PATHETIC, If this kind of trait i have to hear from such a big organisation, i dont think that i have to contiune relation with you people .IF YOU GUYS ARE NOT WORRIED ABOUT THE BUSINESS WHY THE HELL I SHOULD KEEP KNOCKING WITH NO RESULT WHEN THERE ARE OTHER MOBILE OPERATORS .I am suffering my business because of this barring and would like to demand compensation for the same .Your utmost action is highly oblidged else i would have to knock the doors of Redressal forums tksrohit malhotra

                                My phone was stolen in which i was having AIRTEL postpaid connection Ph No. [protected]. I was trying to block my sim card by calling the NO.                                 my name is kanav mahajan. i had applied for a new airtel broadband connection on 20-01-09 against a payment of Rs.949.00 by cheque.they assured me that the connection will be madde in a weeks time. but even after a couple of weeks it didnt happen and they not even told me about that. when i called them they told me that it is not possible as there is no service cable in that area.and they assured me that your money will be refunded within 25days. its almost 3 months and i havent received my payment.whenever i call them they keep on saying that the payment will reach me within a couple of days.i have called them a number of times but no response from their side.

                                I had network issues with my Airtel post-paid no is [protected],i was using this connection since 3 years..i thought to cancel it and go for other connection.I have raised the compliant regarding the same.The customer exec told me that i will receive a confirmation call regarding the cancellation after few days.i got a call from one of the manager he told me that they are working on the network issue and it will be resolved in few more days.he requested me to retain the connection,i have asked some time for that.After two days i got another call from head office i spoke to the exec and told him that i wil retain the connection.and i have asked for the number change and told me the process.i asked him for the available numbers,he told that he wil get back to me in another 1 hour.After that i dint get any call from the airtel..I dint get my new number as well my old number was dissconneceted without the confirmation..i checked with the airtel customer care they are very rude and they are telling that the execs who spoke to me has not update my account wit proper details..n these ppl are tellin tht i am responsible for the same.What can i do if the exec has not updated my account wit proper comments??i also sent a mail to the nodal officer of the airtel,i dint get any response from them as well.This is really pathetic..I dont know how to escalate this issue..

                                This complaint is against a executive of Airtel Named Kiran Kumar([protected]). I applied for Airtel Post paid connection last week, I called him up and told to collect the document. When ever I call,he used to say rite now I'm Busy I will be there in 1/2 - 1 hr. He repeated the same for nearly 2 weeks and dint come to collect the documents. Today morning he came and collected the document still the sim is not activated. Is this the way Airtel treat the customer? Is this the way Airtel trained their Employees? or is that because Airtel operates in 20 countries across South Asia, Africa and the Channel Islands, It has 243.336 million customers across 20 countries so it is fine if they loose 1 or 2 customers? If this is the case then one day you will surely loose all the customer. World is competitive. There are many other service providers who really do good and value their customers. This is the worst experience I had with Airtel.

                                  3> Can't Recharge at all. Due to which my outgoing is stopped from NOW 4 days.
                                  4> This problem has been encountered by me twice after I have switched from Postpaid to Prepaid in Octomber. From Octomber till February all was working fine.

                                    My bill plan is changes without my knowledge, and no information was given to me about the plan. Due to this change in bill plan my bill increased to almost 4 times.

                                    I raised a complaint with airtel in which I mentioned I will not be paying my bill until my bill is recalculated.
                                    I was regularly following up with them. The issue is not solved yet.

                                    I today they have in activated my sim. I am not able to get any Incoming and outgoing calls.

                                    Please let me know the procedures to log a complaint against Airtel.

                                    Airtel — change of plan without the knowledge

                                    the 499 plan with unlimited services have been changed to 899 plan without my knowledge & this complaint has sent already & there is no response from your side.If this plan is not changed I do want your services & please disconnect.So that I can change my broadband services.
