Airtel Mobile Office priced at Rs.20/- is supposed to be for a day (24hrs) internet browsing. However, activation/de-activation time is not always on 24hour basis. They de-activate early and MIGRATE the connection to a scheme @ Re.0.30/50kb without the user's consent. Within hours, one can loose the entire balance in a pre-paid connection. I experienced this recently and found my entire remaining amount lost. GPRS internet users on Airtel please be aware. They are looting the customers in the name of GPRS access without the user's knowledge.

    I had subscribed to Airttel WAP and then logged out and disconnected WAP. Initally i received the subscription email saying every 7 days Rs.10 will be decucted. But now i am not using WAP still i get sms which deducts rs. 20 every two days and the website given to unsubscribe show error. Please disconnect this Airtel WAP form my number [protected] immediately,

      Post paid SIM not received
      I requested a prepaid connection to post paid connection 3 weeks back at PUNE, Chinchwad. The Airtel person came to my company to collect the documents & charges. After a rigorous follow up my pre paid SIM card is blocked while i am yet to receive the post paid SIM card. The Airtel person (SHASHIKANT - [protected])) is not even picking up my calls since last few days.

      THIS HIGHLIGHTS THE POOR SERVICE OF AIRTEL.

      Now i don't understand what has to be done.

        Hi,

        My mobile number is +91 [protected] and I have been using international roaming service in UK on this number since 28th October, 2008. But since yesterday afternoon, I could not register with the mobile service providers in UK.I have tried with three different handsets but the problem still persists.

        The airtel customer care does not seem to have any clue about this. A rectification of service on this phone is requested at the earliest.

        I am basically from madurai. When i went to Jamshedpur, i received a call which was airtell marketing. Sicne i was in roaming, i was charged money unnecessarily.

          A deduction of Rs.630/- has been made from my outstanding balance on 25.2.2009 from my Airtel Prepaid Number [protected] on account of various Airtel Service like 64611010, 64611015, 64611099 etc.whereas I has neither subscribed any of such service nor downloaded any of these contents. I simply tried to login Yahoo Messger WAP portal but failed time and again. The matter was brought to the notice of Customer Care at 121 as well as GPRS technical helpline but no satisfactory reply was given.

          This is also brought to the notice that I am using this number from November, 2003 and I have never downloaded any of such contents ever. The matter may be looked into failing which I will be compelled to discontinue the said number due to the charges willfully imposed for the services not utilised by me.

            Hello sir i user of airtel mobile office in UP (east).
            now i m bihar and i use mobile office in rooming ...everything is ok but when use internet in my laptop then after few second or min connection break.
            Then i reconnect easly connect .i have in realy in problem
            ya same problem here
            even if...i had reinstalled nokia pc suit and xp on my laptop
            mobile is also working correctly..no specific answer from airtel care

              Hi

              I have a Airtel number where in, i have been getting unsolicited and abusive calls from a number which is never displayed on my display (Nokia 6610). As far as i know CLIR (Calling line identification Restriction) is activated on the caller's phone.

              i'm just wondering if it is possible to identify the number of the person. Does anyone have any info about this?

              Airtel — Unsolicited calls ,sms,missed calls,call switching in between

              This is to bring to your notice that we receive many calls ,missed calls and sms's from strange numbers at odd hours . While making calls sometimes seems like call has been switched .And certain times on call back response comes that number does not exist.
              We have spoken to customer care a lot of times but of no help.

                i have cancelled the conection of airytel postpaid.i have paid 1175/-rs.even i have the uasege of round about 600/- rs.in my bill there is a balance of -39/- rs.i hvae talked to the airtel outlet about the recovery figure.but still the cheque has not been dispeched to me. please do the needful process.my cell no. was[protected]

                  Received a call from Airtel Broadband people on 5th Jan. 2009 evening regarding their offer of 2mbps 779 comboplan with 4 gb free download. I gave my willingness to migrate from 256kbps 399 to 2mbps. They said that it will take 5days to migrate. I agreed.
                  My broadband stopped working from 6th Jan. 2009 morning.
                  Jan. 10th, I paid my Airtel Broadband bill at Anna Nagar, & made a complaint at cust. relat. Since she was unable to contact her higher officer, she sent me away saying that she will contact me after two hrs. but did not.
                  Jan. 11th I called Airtel officer, Vijaylakshmi around 2pm, explained the above matter, since no complaint was registered, a fresh complaint No. 15774840 was registered.
                  Jan. 13th I insisted the Airtel officer to send an engineer. Engineer Balamurugan arrived in the evening tried his best but in vain saying my USB is at fault hence to get an Ethernet card and fix. Immediately after he left, the hard disk crashed and I lost all valuable business transactions. After he left, bought a new 160GB hard disk and installed OS. and did not fix the Ethernet card I bought (No connecting cable). Tried to log on to my internet but unsuccessful.
                  I brought new PC unit and connected the modem and installed the software (CD). But did not work.
                  I brought my daughter's Laptop and tried but in vain. Only then I knew that the Engineer was incompetent.
                  Jan. 14th tried various means to log on but was disappointed.
                  Jan. 15th I called Airtel officer Arun and explained but he was unable to help me out.
                  Jan. 16th I called Rani & then Girija & explained all the above but was unsuccessful. Because of this ordeal I requested them to get me back to my old 256kbps since I was loosing a lot in business. But their reply 'after 25th Jan only my request can be processed' gave me a jolt.
                  Then I contacted many during the next few days, Gomathi, Shashis, Shankari, Saravanan, Navin, Sudha, Pavithra, Priadarshini
                  Jan. 19th I contacted Meena, Shashis finaly, Gomathi gave a new Ref. No. 16017382 and with a lot of hesitation agreed to send an engineer but did not. Whenever I contact them they stated telling some excuse.
                  In the mean time my son-in-law (System analyst) with his laptop came from Bangalore and tested my PC and found out that the router was not connected on Airtel side. He contacted Airtel people and asked them to send an Engineer from Airtel. They gave a different complaint no. 16016458.
                  Jan 22. Airtel engineer Mr. Lokesh checked with different modems and said that the mistake is on Airtel side and it seems that my router cable is not connected properly. He tried to contact Air tel people and said that he will do the needful and left. But nothing happened due to his family problem but gave the Manager Prosheeds no. 42979468 but all attempts failed.
                  Jan 24th 6:30 pm Navin gave Co-ordinator’s No. [protected], he regretted for his helpless condition
                  Jan. 25, 9:45 am Priadarshini – not of much help.
                  Back to Lokesh – asked me to contact Mr. Shahid 42185858, after confirming this issue with Mr. Lokesh, Mr. Shahid confirmed that the router cable is at fault and it will take two days for them to lay a new cable
                  Jan. 27, 4.30pm Shahid called and asked me to open the Internet Explorer and proceed as he says and finally, I was able to log on brows the Internet 256kb with a new modem, Lokesh gave.

                  Finally, Airtel asked me to pay Rs. 723. So I asked Mr. Shahid to explain the matter to the billing dept. and finally, they said that I have to pay for all the days except from Jan 17 to 27, - Rs. 407.27. for 10days o[censored]sage in a month and for the mistake Airtel committed, I am punished. From Jan. 6 to 27 my Internet was non-functional (20 days) due to Airtel’s mistake (router disconnected).
                  I do Leather Machinery sales and service as a free lancer. During the crucial time of the Leather fair at Chennai, I lost two very important contracts. I went through a lot of stress and mental agony and torture due to Airtel’s mistake.
                  I request the public to unite to punish such frauds like Airtel and such others of plundering the public like in other developed countries.

                      i got converted my prepaid Sim card to post paid Sim card i give my address proof and my id proof but they dint verify my address after that they cut my phone line and permanently disable my number it is my lucky number in that product section people not response well in my case so i have to apply for consumer court this is my case air tel post paid people very worst

Jaya, employee assured me that my verification would me done in a day or two.But no body has turned up for verification till now. This is the 3rd week. I am not a resident of Delhi and I am leaving for my hometown Mumbai in a week. I request you to ask them to do the verification before 24th December, 2009.                         I am Nitin Jadhav & i have a prepaid connection of Airtel Mumbai no. [protected] & its life time card. Now i am in Gurgaon-Delhi & my Seam card is under roaming. The Last two days i cant received any incoming call as well as i cant do outgoing call also. Yesterday i try to refill some amount but that also not possible.I humbly request Airtel to kindly solve the problem.

                            Dear Sir,

                            I would like to congratulate TRAI on its efforts to publish this Consultation paper on Broadband QoS - "Bandwidth required for ISPs for better connectivity and improved quality of service". I really admire TRAI for its initiative, forethought and the enduring work for a better quality of telecom service in India despite apathy from several quarters including the government.

                            With this letter I would like to bring to your notice a controversial and unfair
                            decision of Airtel Broadband with subject to "Airtel Fair Usage Policy".
                            Airtel Fair Usage policy has become the latest nightmare for the customers of
                            Airtel Broadband.

                            "Airtel Fair Usage Policy" or AFUP is totally unfair on customers with Unlimited
                            broadband plans as Airtel has decided to cap all unlimited plans starting from 15GB for 256kbps and reducing the speed to 128kbps for further downloads. Unlimited plans cannot and should not have restrictions on either the promised speed or unlimited data.

                            As per information/emails received by customers from Airtel, the limit on unlimited plans are as follows:

                            128 kbps = 10 GB data limit per month - after that speed reduced to 64kbps
                            256 kbps = 15 GB data limit per month - after that speed reduced to 128kbps
                            384 kbps = 20 GB data limit per month - after that speed reduced to 192kbps
                            512 kbps = 25 GB data limit per month - after that speed reduced to 256kbps
                            1 Mbps = 50 GB data limit per month - after that speed reduced to 512kbps

                            Airtel users have confirmed that their speeds have been reduced to half of what their package promises.

                            They site the reasons as that of loss of speeds for other customers connected to the same node. Since some customers use the internet 24X7, the others are at a loss of speed. But isn't that a technical fault by the airtel. Why should the customers be penalized. The plans have been changed without permission and does not live up to what was promised . Aren't the customers being cheated this way? I would like to point out the fact that even if a customers uses his "unlimited" 256kbps plan for just 10 hours a day, his 15GB limit as mentioned above would be crossed in merely 13-15 days. Then what is the use of calling it an unlimited plan?

                            Once the unlimited broadband data is capped, it ceases to be an Unlimited plan. When the speed is reduced to less than the minimum 256kbps it ceases to be a TRAI defined broadband connection. Airtel in fact is violating the very
                            TRAI definition of broadband connection in India and this will be a very serious lapse by Airtel.

                            Airtel had merely suggested AFUP in its response to TRAI's consultation paper on "Bandwidth required for ISPs for better connectivity and improved quality of service". But now Airtel has gone ahead and implemented AFUP. This means that Airtel is enforcing data transfer limits on their supposedly unlimited plans without the consent of TRAI or its own customers. Does this not amount to cheating or fraud on its customers and in direct violation of TRAI's guidelines on broadband?

                            We have always believed Airtel to be different from other ISPs in India.They have always charged a premium and continue to do so for unlimited plans. Initially everything felt just right with Airtel Broadband. But things are apparently changing for the worse. Only TRAI can protect consumer interests from the wrath of such mind numbing decisions that put barriers in nascent growth of broadband in India.

                            Lots of Airtel's users have posted their grievances in various forums and blogs.

                            I sincerely request you to consider this letter as a complaint against unjust Airtel Fair Usage Policy and/or any other ISP in India which indulges in putting barriers in broadband speed/data caps and thus hindering the growth of broadband in India.

                            I would like TRAI to investigate the reasons behind implementation of such a policy by Airtel that hinders growth and that is contrary to TRAI's guidelines.

                            I look forward to the speedy resolution of this problem and I sincerely hope that you will do the needful and ensure the interests of telecom consumers in India are safeguarded.

                            I agree this the worst way to attack your customers by cheating them for the service they cant provide they don't the capacity to upgrade their equipments so they want to introduce this . They are more like they going to be worthless in a few days... being a customer and being capped for my usage is .
                            Hope Airtel goes to the GALLOWS and pay a heavy price for their mistake.

                            I am shantanu, working as Software engineer in gurgaon and writing here on behalf of my wife (Shailly sharma).

                            I was in need of a broadband connection at my new place( sukhdev vihar, massi gar, south delhi), I droped an online request for the same and after getting the confirmation from your executive( Mr Khalid Ph no-[protected]) that I will have my connection to the next day my wife provide all the required documents and processing fees.
                            My wife given the document and 1500 rs cash to Mr Deepak (ph no- [protected]), but I couldnt have got my connection even after two days. I called the executive and after repetitive of calls the guy confirmed me that they cant give me connection becuase they dont have wire line to my locality.

                            Now I ask, if they didnt have wire line to my locality then why they assured me first and took my documents and cash.

                            And now when i ask them to refund my buggs, they excuse and say it will take one month to the procedure and i will get my money after one month.

                            I dont have so much of time to call them again & again and its very painfull to see such a rude and unprofesstional behaviour for such a renoved company's executives.

                            I want to know why it takes one month long period to get my money back when you guys are not given me any connection even after the pre assurance . Its all wasted my time and business when i was in urgent need of the broadband.

                            I request to the concern guys to look into the matter and revert back to me asap.

                            I would like to bring to your notice that I have registered my number [protected] in to the NDNC 13/04/2010 my reference number for registration is S[protected]. Surprisingly I am constantly getting automated messages and SMS. I think Airtel should value your 'committment' to protect my information and privacy.
                            I have the same problem. How to get Airtel to not spam us repeatedly?

                            Airtel Broadband — Less than advertised speed

                            Airtel press release in March says they are doubling boradband plan speed without any extra charge so if one has plan of 256 Kbps then he will get 512 without any charge.My plan is of 256 unlimited i am getting 512 speed now but only after 10 A.M. Before that i get 256.
                            my speed has decreased by four times.
                            this is totally unfair.
                            and i will see to it that my whole company and other friends whom i know vhange their internet connection.
                            this is not acceptable.

                              I have an Airtel prepaid connection bearing no. [protected] on 20th Feburary my balance was Rs. 193/- after deduction Rs. 30/- for devotional pack it became Rs. 163/- after this i made about 3 or 4 local calls the balance became Rs. 159/- approx. but in evening time the balance was shown only Rs. 59/-. I made a complaint to Customer Care Center about the problem (complaint No.[protected]). They replied that due to software problem the amount is deducted and will be refunded in 48 hrs. On 22.02.2009 I recharged my phone by Rs. 100/-, after recharging the balance was Rs. 146/- (approx) but agin in the evening time my balance was shown only R. 0.21 again i complaint to CC (complaint No.3361200) and was told that the amount will be refunded on 24.02.2009. on 24.02.2009 only Rs. 50/- credited to my account. On 25.02.2009 Rs. 50.18 was deducted from my account. In this situation I am unable to call anywhere. you are requested to kindly refund my full balance and give me my call details to my mail ID

                              Airtel Prepaid Service — unauthorised deduction from prepaid balance.

                              I am lodging this complaint on behalf of my wite Mrs Medha D Potnis. She is a prepaid customer of Airtel. She bought a Lifetime card for Rs.495/- in june 2007 from the dealer in Virar. Before some 2 months back when she recharged the card with Rs.265/- with full talk time, the prepaid balance is getting continously debited every weak by Rs.7/- & Rs.30/- were got debited twice. Message comes that the charges are deducted for the renewing the Hindu Card which she had never heard about. After calling customer care no satisfactory answer as usual. Now when her balance was Rs.2/- only, once more some amount was deducted and now the balance is showing minus (-)Rs.7/-. We are totally confused about what is going on. There is no way to enquire about the matter or to ask what is exactly going on. We are helplessly watching the balance getting debited. Please guide us what to do in the matter.

                              AirTel in a most harmful way has activated the VAS99 Pack in my AirTel Mobile No [protected] on 14:09:2008 at 10.19 hours. Again on 22:09;@008 at 10:22 I received another message that it will be renewed for another month. Meanwhil I made complaints to the Airtel by E mail on[protected] and the complaint reference number is[protected] dated[protected]. The illegally activated the (2) Hindu smart Alert, (3) Devotion alert. Eventhough the assured to settle he issue with in 24 hours nothing is forth comming till[protected] evening.                               I am having airtel connection no [protected].I have been complaining since March 2009 that Rs1.00 daily and Rs 10.00 per weak is being charged from my prepaid sim account for unknown reasons (Unauthorized Charges) .I have been having a horrible time for the last 03 months complaining after complaining about the problem but No positive Response is being given towards the problem.
                              I was told that from 13th april onwards no deduction will be made and the amount already deducted upto 13-04-09 will be added in the phone account. Whileas Practically, the process was not stopped.
                              On 30th April I was given assurance that the amount deducted from 13th April will be deposited within 02 hours and now onwards no deduction will be made, of course Rs34 were added to my account but the process of deduction was not stopped.
                              Again, on 2nd May I was given assurance that the amount deducted will be deposited within 02 hours and now onwards no deduction will be made but the process continued.
                              finally, On 16 - 06-09 I was told that VAS has been deactivated nothing will be deducted from your account now onwards But today on 19-06-09 the process was repeated thrice in a single day in other words LOOTING /STEALING of money from phones is in full swing.
                              I have saved all the messages if early measures are not taken then i will take the matter with CONSUMER COURT.

I have called the customer care two times, but instead of replying anything, they disconnected my call & send a reference number via sms(Ref. no.-CHTDE[protected] & CBDCC[protected]). I want to know why on what basis they have deducted Rs 14!!

                                i don't know these sites... i don't know any java games... who has done it...? it has not been done from my handset or my sim number by me or anyone i know for sure... i think this is matter of concern for the service providers... hoping for some action in this regard...

                                  I made a complain No. [protected] on 21/02/2009 that a sum of Rs. 100/- deducted from my balance whereas my blance was 163/- they show my balance is 62/- Rs. I have not availed any services nor activated any services from them on but till date i have not been refunded the same. Again I recharged my phone with Rs. 100/- recharge voucher on 22.02.09 at that time my balance was Rs. 146/- when I tried to call at night the answer was you have not suffieint balance to call. Again i contacted to customer care the answer was not satisfactory. It is requested that refund my above money at the earliest so that In future I can trust your services.

                                    I am using a Airtel pre-paid connection no. [protected].On 24 Feb 09 at around 15.40 hrs a amount of Rs. 125 and 99 was deducted from my balance. I got two msgs thanking me for down loading games from Airtel live, whereas i havent downloaded anything.When i contacted customer care they were not in a position to solve my problem. If this is the way BHARTI AIRTEL wants to make money then its disgusting.I really feel bad and angry for subscribing such a hopeless network

                                    On 9th Jan 2008, at 5pm my account balance was about 681 Rs, but it was reduced to 617 Rs. without any information telling me why the 64Rs. were deducted. I called the customer care 5 times telling them all the things, but they just answer, "it will be resolved within 72 hrs.".
                                    Can some one answer, What the hell are these companies doing? Is that the way of providing service? The companies are also making a fool of the customers by voting systems on some Television Programs.

                                    As in case of my Airtel prepaid balance deduction, it was done second time by the company, it was a 15 Rs. deduction before but only 7 or 8 Rs were added after complaining. I don't know what happened this time. There was no sms regarding this deduction. All the companies are doing bulls .

                                    I've a subscription of SantaBanta jokes, but the updates held 22nd of every month. It deducts 15Rs, and the jokes are so poor, that i[censored] try to share with ur friends, they'll not let you remain one piece.

                                    I also have gprs activated, but for a long time i've not downloaded even a single wallpaper, animation of ringtone from Airtellive or Airtelworld.

                                    On 12.04.2008 I received a SMS from Airtel "Thank you for subscribing to ISHQ. Your pack will be activated soon." Then I check my A/c balance, I see Rs.10/- less from my A/c. On 22.04.2008 & 04.05.2008 I again received a SMS from Airtel "Hi! Your subscription for the ISHQ has been auto reneved. Now enjoy the service." Then I again checked my A/c balance, I see Rs.10/- & Rs.10/- less from my A/c respectively. BUT I HAVE NEVER SUBSCRIBED FOR ISHQ. I have been allready complaind about this problem through SMS to 170 and your service agent.

                                    I requested to you, please checked the same & stop ISHQ PACK. Please returned my less amount & inform me.

                                    Sir, i activated the Nite pack ,GPRS, in Airtel according to which i can serf on net for free from 1200 Am to 8 Am. Sir, i got it activated on my number [protected], but when when i was using this service on 16th dec 09, at around 12:30 am, as i finished my serfing at around 2:00, it showed that "your last call cost 31 Rs", i was charged for surfing. i called customer care and filed the complaint numbered [protected] , and explained them the details but nothing happened. when i called them they say that ur complaint is not registered properly. and now they do not respond to my calls, cuts the calls in between.
                                    sir this is not the first time, earlier also the deducted some 8 Rs in the month of August, but sir 31 Rs matters to me, as we are from a middle class background.
                                    Today even, when i had already deactivated The GPRS Facility on my No., I recharged it with Rs 50 , and the balance was deducted ( 35 Rs) mentioning that your service is reactivated.

                                    While it is gratifying to note the revolution brought and services rendered by the firm yet it is regrettable that no action has been taken by the firm for removal of a tune which has been forced by the firm. My daughter in law is user of the number:[protected]. She has been forced a tune which is absurd, obnoxious and unbearable to say the least. She feels cheated out of her sole that some one ringing the number has to bear the audacity forced by the unconcern employees of the firm.
                                    She has MADE SEVRAL calls, SMS’s, requested them to drop the tune but no reply has come. It is some short of mental agony and torture she has to bear. This is going on from several month. Each month Rs. 30 / is charged and forcefully deducted but tune is not dropped or altered as per her request if any.
                                    It is sad that a firm of such reputation and dimension is using it as a ploy to dupe the customer or using it as a tact to force the revenue earning. I am sure both may not be the case. Kindly get this tune dropped and forced deductions made are credited to her number . In case it is not attended we will be forced to take the matter as per law of the land to protect the interest and torture on goes with the absurdity of the firm.

                                    I am using Airtel prepaid services since last 6 yrs or more. the problem here is that the company starts any value added services ( like GPRS, News, Cricket info ) without even asking for the same and the charges are also deducted without information.                                     HI, my airtelprepaid no is [protected]. For the last two months I get a phone from the airtel company where a representative asks me to choose the hello tunes service. I strictly tell them not to activate the service, no matter how low the rates are. But, I think this guys dont get itor they have some goal of irritating people. Everytime, right on the next day I receive a sms stating that my hello tunes have been activated and I have been charged for the service. I, right away call the customer service, and all that the representative does is deactivate my service and tells me that this will not happen again. Now, can you believe this? It happens all again, and this time I asked for a refund. So, the guys tells me confidently that I have been refunded of the amount. But, sadly, this also never happens. I call the next day and again they tell me that I will be refunded, but I am not. Now, I have been using this number for quite a time and I dont want to change this, but if this occurs one more time, I will be left with no choice. If anyone is reading this and has the ability to take action, Please, take some actions, because the charge that they deduct this way from the customer may be a small one for them, but for the customer, it is a great loss.

                                    YES, I strongly agree with Mr. Vijay Kumar, even I face the same problem, ever now and then charges are deducted even if I don't make a call or any value added services are not updates.

                                    When I contacted the customer care they flatly denied deducting any charges. And yes, Airtel's 198 consumer complaints no. disconnects the call without any intimation Such practices amount to fraudulent practices. We can join people facing similar problem and take legal action against Airtel. This is clearly deficiency in service as per Consumer Protection Act 1986.

                                    Cricket alerts & Voice Chat have been automatically subscribed for this number and I keep receiving alerts from[protected] and I am being charged Rs. 5/- per day for cricket alert & 30rs for voice chat. I had sent unsubscribe SMS (STOP) to 121 as per their web-site and received a confirmation SMS that the alerts are de-activated. However, I still keep receiving the alerts which is very disturbing and also money gets deducted.
                                    I tried reaching out to customer care on 121/[protected], but did not find any option to talk to a customer representative, just some IVR messages.
                                    Also, wrote to customer care at [protected]@airtel.in but still no action has been taken.

                                    I request these alerts to be de-activated immediately and stop deducting money from the pre-paid account.

                                    Also please arrange to credit my all balance deducted from my balance.

                                    This is to bring into your kind notice that i am using Airtel Prepaid Sim Card and on 9th March i was having balance of Rs. 25 around. At the end of the day i got a sms that your Radio Service has been activeted and 30 Rs. are deducted from your A/C and mr balance was -5 Rs. around.

I called them 3 times and money for the call to customer care got deducted but they said your voice is not audible so he has to hang up the call. I did not understand why it happened for all three times. After this i could not able to connect to customer care.

                                    Today at morning i called them twice but the same answer came from them.

                                    It is not a matter of 30 Rs. only but for cheating to customer. Which is by any mean is not acceptable and also bring into your notice that same happened last month with me then i have spoken to customer care and money got refunded but this time i am not able to connect to them.

                                    I request you to take appropriate action and do what ever you think is right.

                                    Yes, Airtel is the worst service provider. Even many times my money has been deducted without any notification. They just start any stupid service without informing or asking us, this is ridiculous. I have now changed from Aitel to Idea... Get Idea... and be happy...
                                    I'm using airtel since 2009,I've my airtel mobile no. [protected], now I'm tired of airtel as they activate any services without asking, whenever i filled-up with 50 rupees they reduce by 32 or 35 rupees.
                                    even i filled-up form for mobile no. portability but they called me and made me believe that they will return all deduct account balance and we'd reduce your call rate but everything was just fake, even they block me to reach costumer care so that i can't make any complaint.
                                    airtel is horrible company i ever saw. I've to stay in delhi hardly 2 or 3 month than I'll never use airtel.

                                    they have deduct amount without intimation and without any conformation. recently i am facing a new problem with airtel cricket zone. they have activated this service on 04 April 2011. i was called consumer care to many time but they didn't reply, they don't know how to talk with consumer. even i have send a mail many time but they didn't give any response. daily 5 Rs. Deducted from my Account. But the problem is still same. i am lossed account balance above 45 to 50 Rs. now the condition is that i am unable to reach the consumer care. they have blocked my number.

                                    so i would like to advice everyone. who are using aitrel service. please don't choose airtel service.

                                    During the period from 26/04/2011 to 17/05/2011 ie. for 22 days I had received cricket scores in the form of SMS for which I have never subscribed nor gave any conformation for subscription.

                                    Later on I came to know from customer-care executive that for this service a charge of Rs. 3.00 per day has been deducted from my account, which amounts to Rs. 66.00.

                                    According to TRAI regulations service provider cannot subscribe any service unless the consumer gives his confirmation twice.

                                    So, I request you to kindly do the needful.

                                    I have a prepaid phone connection from AIRTEL - number [protected]. I have been receiving various messages about services being activated at some monthly or daily rentals. Please note that I have been paying and recharging for whatever service i need. Let me make it clear that you have no authority to deduct amount from my credit in these connections and give me service. Later i have to run behind you to get these reversed. This is absolute This is absolute non sense. There is a limit to fleecing your customers. the only services i have now is a 44 rupees sms pack and a 474 rupees Internet pack in my phone number. I do not want any other service whatever it is!!! please understand that and credit back to me any amount that has been deducted in these numbers for services which i have not requested. Is your company sunning in such a bad way that u need to cheat customers of ten and twenty rupees to make profit. Please understand that i dont need any of these services. and Please make sure that these kind of deductions no more happen from my account. Situation is like a robber coming and looting my house and i have to run behind him to get my hard earned money back. This is simply ridiculous!!! as i said, i dont need any additional service other than what I prepay and recharge against my number. I dont need your help to deduct money and give service. If i need something i have the literacy to ask for it and the ability to pay for it when i feel i need it. I hope this message is clear!!!

                                    Some services are getting activated automatically without my permission. This has happened 3rd time. I talked to the customer care department many times on 03rd July'11... last two times are with :
                                    Anil (Emp no. 8386) & pooja (Emp No. 42679)....
                                    Last two times they recreadited the balance after I logged a complaint. But this time they are saying that we cannot return the balance.
                                    Kindly look into the matter. Hopefully i will get my balance back & in future it won't happen again.

When i called customer care they told that i have downloaded some mp3 songs from airtel live for which no balance deduction message is sent from airtel. On enquiring more they said that he will message me the download link as a proof. Which he didnt send. On asking for reference number for the complaint, he told that he will msg me that as well.

                                    First I have called to customer care on 10-10-12 at 6:27 thre is one executive whose name is sanjay recive call , after some conversion he told me that he will transfer my call to his senior and after feq second he dissconnect call . After that I recalled to customer care another person at 6:35 whose name intial is start from 'a' something akhash doing same and when I M calling again he banned my number for 24 hour to call customer care.
                                    I have called to customer care many times before this incident but every time I got same result.
                                    And my problem is when I recharged my no.The balance is stay in my account only for one day next day it will become zero. Even if there is no service is activated on my number.
                                    and i call on 13-10-12 at 2:00 pm the same problem is there
                                    they disconnect my call and banned my number for 24 hour.

                                      few days back... i got a call from airtel for changin my number from prepaid to postpaid... i heard about 400 power top plan and accepted de offer... a person came to my home and gave me an postpaid sim... as i was in a hurry... i dint ask his name or number... i used this postpaid no for somedays and made calls and msgs... but today i came to know tht my number is on 199 power top plan... and its ridiculous... i cannot pay money for your mistakes... so pls immediately change my plan to powertop 400...

                                        I am a Press Reporter for print media in New Delhi region. I am having a prepaid connection of Airtel in UP West circle. My phone had a balance of Rs 700 (app) on 20th night and on 21st morning, it magically scaled down to Rs. 30 (app). Company is cheating from prepaid customers too.
                                        Moreover, the customer care number in this circle does not let the customers to speak to the executives and the call disconnects.
