AirTel — No incomming call

Dear sir,
I am regular user of airtel prepaid mob connection from last 3 days i am not receiving any incomming call. There is no problem for outgoing call.
My cell details: Nokia 2626

Address for problem area: Shivaji park.
Chinchwad, Pune. (near Termax company)
Pl look in to that, I already registered my complaint through service adviser but no positive responce till.

Airtel Prepaid Card — no incoming calls

respected sir,
i am taking a simcard from dealer under the nit rourkela campus before 6 day.
from the date of activation only outgoing call are going from my mobile and no incoming std calls are coming in my mobile excepy airtel only.i am report the airtel costomer care lots of time but no action will be taken by them.
i am in so much problem here so please try to solve my problem immediately.

But neither incoming calls nor the outgoing calls facilities are not yet provided. I had entrusted with your agent at Cherthala my identity details (Copy of Voters ID Card) as early as on[protected] along with my Photograph. Please attend the complaint and cure the defect at the earlist.

D/Sir,

I am having Prepaid Airtel connection for Mobile No.[protected].
Repeatedly twice an amount of Rs.38/- was deducted from my account as per details given below WHICH WAS NOT USED BY ME.

15TH SEPTEMBER, 2008 : 1049 a.m
24TH SEPTEMBER, 2008 : 1730 p.M

The above Telephone is in the name of my son shri Amandeep Singh who is at present a minor and student.

The deduction was made from my prepaid accouunt when the same was not used by me and at that time the mobile was kept at residence and my minor son had gone to school & study.

I request you to investigate the same and inform the same to undersigned and pay back the money to my account, otherwise, I will be compelled to take suitable legal action.

    Dear sir, My no. is [protected]. I have given several time the request to activate MMS service and the Airtel Live Wap portal service, the cst. care executives said that these services are already active but I cant use these services, because I dont have the settings. For getting the setting I send the sms, in return it gives me the mssg. "This service is not currently active in your no.". The cst. care executives said that my handset is not yet update in their systme.

    Dear sir/madam, I use Fly2080, GPRS compatable handset. And I think it is very well known by Indians. So, plz. give me the settings as soon as possible...

      Dear Sir,

      I would like to bring to your notice the level to which your customer support has fallen. Pathetic would be the correct word to describe the current Airtel Customer Care.

      It has happened with me in the past 10 days that MY GPRS is not working on leaptop during roaming I called to local customer care at Gwalior, The customer care of gwalior told that they are unable to solve my problem and said that I have to call at orissa customer care and the second problem is that from gwalior orissa customer care is not reachable . on.

      I would like to remind you that I pay for the service & it is not coming for free.

      In case you care a little about the brand image of Airtel then please look into the matter. If you are unable to pull my past call recordings then I have all the calls recorded & I can email them to you.

      Honestly saying your poor customer service has turned a very loyal & satisfied customer into a highly irritated & unsatisfied customer.

      I would appreciate if some one responsible can contact me from you team and help.

      airtel is one of the worst mobile sim service provider and the persons who has been working in airtel customer care doesnt care the problem of customers customer care executive doesnt pay attention and doesnt solve any problem they always making turking thanks

        Airtel/Postpaid Mobile Bill — Unauthorized STD Rates

        My No is [protected]. I have taken a plan for two years for Rs 1495 as Zero rental. At that time they told me that in my connetions no rent will be charged...only clip charges of Rs 50/- alongwith some taxes will be charged. Also charges for local phones will be .50 paisa per min and 1 rupee will be charged for STD for one min. Only after ten days of getting the connetcion i have recived a bill for an amount of 396/- for ten days. I am shocked to see that.

        What shuld i do?

        Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. — Mobile bill not being sent

          SUBJECT:WORST SERVICE OF AIRTEL & HARASSMENT TO CUSTOMERS


          Dear Sir,


          With reference to Airtel Broadband and land line no [protected] I would like to inform you that,

          1. Myself Puneet Sharma, have fully paid the Airtel Bill for no[protected], Upto December 2007 .later i received my january month bill on first week of February which states that i had used internet and land line from 25th january to 31st january, which is practically impposible as me myselr vgot married on 27th january and i was in jaipur with my whole family from 25th january till 31st january


          2. After that I had talked with your customer care executive to disconnect the Airtel connection immediately.

          3. Again on 7th february i ahd talked to your customer care executive and they since then promised em that they will disconnect my service within 24 hours i even had sent mail requesting to disconnect the above number.

          4. But in 3rd March 2008, I received the following mail, in which Customer Services Executice, Devraj and Shailesh sonkar has mentioned that “We have checked our records and found that you had words with our executive regarding disconnection” but on 28th fevruary which in itsefl was shocking, still i request them to disconnect tyhe service as i will not going to make any payment for my monthyl rental

          5. Again I called on 12 march 2008 that my service is not getting disconnected and i am receiving bills from your end which i will not going to pay
          6. But to my utter surprisement on 13 th april I again received call from you executive and that tyoo on a regualr basis that repay the bill to the earliest which for my more surpirsewas shocked when they sdaid there os no record of you mentioning to disconnect my service
          7. More surprisingly, My wife received threatening calls from Phone No.[protected] a phone Number from Tis hazari Court, Delhi) and she was told to contact M.J & company Solicitor and Advocates at +91-[protected], As I contacted Adv Sudesh Gupta, he also threatened me to pay else it will not be "good for me", he asked me to make the payment of 1000 Rs as my total outstanding was 1609.00 Rs otherwise "I will see you", which he asked me to make "out of the court settlement"


          In this regard I would like to remind you that I had already informed in February 2008 to the Customer care Executive as well as through E-mail to discontinue my above number . But instead of disconnecting in february 2008 you disconnected in May Mid and you have levied undue charges to me till April 2008.

          8. Although I have sent mails on 14th May and 16 th May 2008 and then after reminder not to harass me, but almost after three weeks, no action has been taken from AIRTEL, eventually i statred getting nuisance abusice calls from legal department of AIRTEL which states " make the payemtn else you will be in trouble"

          In this connection I request you to send me an " NIL(ZERO) OUTSTANDING BALANCE STATEMENT " as on today immediately otherwise I shall not only publish all the above matter in all theleading news papers of India regarding harassment to customers but also shall be compelled to take the shelter of Honorable Consumer Court for
          i)Deficiency in Service
          ii)Levying undue charges on customers( Inconsistent amount Rs. 1609)
          iii)Harassment to Customers
          iv) Threatening by advocate to self and wife
          v)Mental Tension
          vi) Mental Agony and
          vii) pray for suitable Compensation with Cost of the Case.


          An early and suitable reply as well as "Zero balance Statement" is solicited please.

          As in case of Post paid this is govern by an agreement a civil suit a recovery suit can only be estrablished.

          Airtel has no customer care executive, rather it should be called customer harassment executive, they never listen to your problem when the fault lies at their end. They simply has billing and collection department

          My case is linked with their broadband and Data card department, because of the wrong promises by their broadband department, that they will install broad band connection at my place (shifting of[protected] and I kept on calling from May 1st to May 10th and I have all request no. and every day I was promised that I will get the connection the next, I was so frustated that I used to call up 121 and every time I end up with different executive and have to tell him the whole story, this was just the beginning of harassment. Finally they said after 15 days that it is not possible to give the connection after so many promises.

          In the meanwhile I was having their data card unlimited connection for net [protected] and lowered to Rs 49 plan in anticipation of getting the broadband, and my unimited ended on 8th May, and since I was not getting the broadband I was left with no choice to use the data card for 2 days and for using 2 days they raised a whopping amount of Rs 3000.00 where as the unlimited plan is just 999 per month

          and after that it was a nightmare for me, no one from airtel was ready to listen to my problem, they had one point agenda that you pay the bill, rest they were least bothered, Nodal office is of no use.

          Its because of Airtel's wrong promises I lowered my plan to lowest one and for using it for just 2 days they are charging 3000 where as unlimited is 999 per month, and when I talk to 121 every time different customer care executive used to pick up and I used to narrate all the story again and again but of no use, they have one agenda whether they are right or wrong they will make your life miserable by calling you 3-4 times a day unless you pay.

          And I started writing mails to 121 as I got fed up with their customer care and I wrote as many as 10-12 mails stating the problem but I got a generic reply every time that your bill amount of Rs so and so is pending, kindly pay immd bla bla.

          AIRTEL has the worst customer care rather they should change it to CUSTOMER Harrasment

            Airtel Postpaid Connection — Postpaid connection not activated

            From last 2 to 3 years I am using airtel postpaid connection in group plan of 199. I needed one more connection so I submitted my documents & Rs 500 as deposit at the airtel shop "Sunny communications, Jail Road, Nashik Road, Nashik" on July 7th 2009. Till date I have submitted these documents twice & my connection is is not yet activated. When ever I call the airtel customer care, they ask me to contact the airtel shop where I have submitted the documents, & when I go to the shop the lady sitting there say that the person handling my case it not there & I cant even reach him on his mobile. I am just pissed by this type of service though I have been an airtel customer from from 2 to 3 years. Not sure waht to do.

              I am owning Air Tel mobile for last seven years[protected].
              I find the connectivity very poor from my office premises - Jade towers, first floor - my own business office CacGanpathy.at 24 Balfour Road Kellys, Chennai 600010.
              My several complaints not satisfactorily attended for over four o years now. Records with Airtel Chennai office during period Mr. Krishnan was regional head.
              Now after much frustuation, I have gone for second line with Vodfone[protected], and the connectivity is excelent from my office.Even while in Bangalore are in Chennai, find Connectivity tardy from several spots.All others - BSNL, for eg work well from my office premises.

                    my airtel connection ([protected]) kept, disconnected despite of submitting the required documents thrice once at airtel gallery dadar also . the, , online, , information assures, , the connection, to be started in 24 hrs and the airtel staff promises it to start in 48 hrs, and in reallity it has not been stared till, 96 hrs, and on that the customercare ask us to submitt the documents, again, quite disgusting .service.

                    Airtel Prepaid Connection — authorities please take into notice

                    I am a customer of airtel prepaid connection from UP east region (allahabad).


                    The service of the best known prepaid company in india here is no better than any other company.
                    There is no support at all from the customer care executives either on the phone or on the airtel customer care outlets/offices here.
                    The customer care executives on the phone themselves do not know what is asked and what they should answer.
                    After facing this many times finally i decided to bring the matter to your notice.
                    Above all after taking my complaint regarding non working of GPRS to the airtel office i9n the civil lines area of allahabad no intrest was shown by the executive Shilpi Srivastava on 6 oct 2007 and she started blaming my handset for the problem.
                    I told her that i have already got my phone checked, she said i cannot do anything the best thing you can do is to change your connection from airtel to any other service provider. Also the tone in which she replied made me feel insulted me in front of many other customers present there. I asked her to tell her name and she told her name saying that i am not afraid of anyone go and do whatever you want and go ahead to complain to whomever you want.
                    I told her that this is not a way a customer care executive should talk and behave she replied that i am like that only and some customers like you should be dealt like this only.i dont know how I have taken out this time to mail you but my bad experience led me to do so.
                    I hope you will look into the matter.

                    i have a problem with your service, that i purchese your connection before two month on that time my prepaid validity was 10 of oct 2008 but today i suddenly shoked after watching the validity period of my sim card that is 10 of oct 2007 so sir pls solve my problem my mob no is [protected]
                    i was using the airtel postpaid connection since last 2 years.now i have converted it into prepaid and submitted all teh documents last month.now they have barred my number. i have again given them the documents and my number is not yet started.
                    In my case, once the customer care executive failed to resolve/ answer my questions then I have been told that you please speek to our Supervisor and after that no response. It happened twice on 04 May 2008 afternoon. If that is the way Airtel is handling a customer then we should take up the things in other way to resolve our problem.

                    Airtel — Prepaid Connection Barred & Money Lost.

                    I got the Airtel PrePaid Number: +91-[protected] through the Airtel's 3rd Party suppliers (Indirapuram, Ghaziabad) and as asked I had submitted 2 Photographs & Photo Identification Proof (of my native city).

                    The Number worked ok for atleast 1 month.

                    But to my surprise, suddenly Airtel Barred the Outgoing/Incoming Calls without Notification to me like...by Calling or by SMS for the Reason of Barring the Services. But it was showing the Airtel's Signal.
                    At that time, I was away from the City from where I bought the Connection.
                    So, when I came to City from where the Connection was purchased, I visited the Airtel's Relatioship Centre at Noida-Sec62 & I got the Response that they don't deal with this Prepaid's & I need to call at 51111 from the Phone which was lying there.

                    1) I called at 51111 & came to know that the Number has been Barred Permanently due to Wrong Verification & cannot be activated by any means...
                    2) When asked for my Money Balance which it was having...& he said the Money (Approx. 400/-)will also get Lost...

                    But, how they did the Verification ??? As I came to know that Nobody came for the Verification to the Mentioned Photo ID's Address.
                    And, what about my Balance Money ???

                    THIS IS STRICTLY NOT ACCEPTABLE.

                    Will appreciate your response & early resolution.

                    Also please provide me the Reference/Docket Number for further communication as the executive simply refused to provide the same.

                    I am already using airtel prepaid no andrecently took another number [protected] in Oct-09 from 'Kriplani Brothers,A/14, Shop No. 8, Opp. Lucknow Hospital, Krishna Nagar, Lucknow. I submitted my documents to them. The number was activated and working fine, but within a week the outgoing was barred due to non-sub of docs. Then the shop owner said that due to some changein distributor, docs were notsubmitted in time so please submit again. I did the same. But in sometime incoing was also barred. I followed up with theairtel office in alambagh andtheysaidcdocs not recieved, please sumit them, but to your dealer only, since it will be fast then. So I talked to Kriplani again. He said that he has talked to people in airtel and the number will start working again in 2-3 hours. Since then he said it more than 10 times. But eventually now the number has completely failed to come even on network Sim registration failed is the message now. When I told this he said the sim is corrupt go to airtel office in alambaghand get a new one with same nagar. All else is fine. But today the airtel executive told me that this number is removed from network due to non sub of docs. During these days I loaded this number with 400 Rs because the shop owner said the number is fine and will work in few hours.

                    Over the loss of sim card cost and Rs. 300 plus, it has been a lot of mental harassment for me and I have exhausted from going to airtel office and this shopowner again and again.

                    Can someone at Airtel take note of my grievance and take appropriate action in this case to either refund my money or get this number activated with available balance.

                    I have taken a prepaid Airtel connection in 2004.I had no problem with the connection till May 2010.suddenly one day the service was cut without any informationn so I approached the chetput,chennai airtel office .they alsked tme to provide ID proof and the same was provided and they told me that the serivce will be activated within 48 hours and they issued me a duplicate sim.                     I am not going to write long about this product and waste my and your time.

                    I am just copying the interactions I had with Airtel on a phone + SIm card missing case of mine. Please see the testimony of their response.

                    This company does not bother to collect and verify the customer who is getting enrolled when he is taking a card. And the un knowing customer approaches when the card is lost this company makes it a practice to say the card is in some ones name. I think this is a tactic used by them to ncrease the sale of new SIM.
                    They do not educate/control their retailers who are selling SIM. ANd ultimately put the burden on poor customer.

                    Most of the time this company's contact us site detail is not opening. Even their corporate office phone numbers provided on the contact us dtail[protected] 42666500 are un attended. I am wondering how this comapny and their people are being regarded as the rising stars from India and quoted as example of success.

                    this is to bring to your kind notice of an issue I am facing in getting back a
                    duplicate sim card for a sim number which I lost along with my phone hand set.

                    The sim bearing number [protected] was purchased by me in Aug2007 and I was
                    using it continuosly for last 3 years. I lost it 2 weeks back. Since then I am
                    trying to get the same number and called up Airtel customer care several times
                    and visited the Airtel dealer center but in vain. Neither of them owns the
                    issue and I am getting dragged here and there in this issue. Basically I am
                    being advised by Airtel customer care to approach the dealer and in turn
                    advised by dealer to approach Airtel customer care.!!!

                    I gave my ID proof and details while purchasing the number at Thanjavur and
                    using it. I still have the packing of card with me. But when I approached
                    Airtel for getting a duplicate sim for the same I was told that the sim is
                    under different user name but I am sure I gave my ID proof and bought the sim.

                    Ironically they are asking me to provide the address proof with which I
                    originally purchased the number?? And I am telling I bought it in my only with
                    my ID proofs!!! Rest of the confirmation questions like what was the last
                    re-charge amount and which is the freuently called number, incoming call
                    numbers and all I provided the clear answers and the same was validated by
                    Airtel. And still I am denied getting back the same number.
                    When I asked them to advise what other proof I should provide to provide I am
                    the owner of the number I came to know to my surprise that there is no way and
                    Airtel do not have a process for the same. In this context I would like to know
                    how do I prove the authenticity of me using the SIM and get back the same.

                    Kindly get this investigated please. According to me this detracts from an
                    otherwise good product.

                    I would like to request you to look into the issue and resolve ASAP.

                    My Airtel Prepaid Connection (Tamil Nadu) - [protected] was activated during Dec 2011 after due verification by Airtel authorities.
                    Now the connection has been DEACTIVATED from 28 Jan 2012.
                    Though the SIM had sufficient balance and is supposed to be valid till Sep 2014, I don't understand why the connection should be deactivated.

                      Sir I have a broad band connection and ever since I got one it has hardly been worthwhile. Mostly it connects to a low signal strength...so even when I get no activity from the service I get billed as the system says I am connected. I have waited connected whole days waiting for the signal strength to increase in vain. Rich company scamming the poor to get richer by cheating it seems. Now I want to discontinue the service and am unable to because I can't find any place to put my request in. Can anyone please help me there and give some website or a phone number where I could contact some one? Extremely greatfull. It seems best to stick to BSNL

                        Dear Sir,
                        I would like to confirm that i want to discontinue the
                        mobile connection with number [protected] at the
                        earliest.

                        The name of the plan is Airtel Call at 1 Plan.

                        It was taken under CUG plan in TCS, Kolkata.
                        I have shifted to Bangalore. So, I request u to please
                        discontinue that connection at the earliest and send me
                        the bill or please let me know the procedure for doing the
                        same.

                        Kindly note that this number [protected] is under
                        roaming and i want to discontinue that number at the
                        earliest. I already called up Customer Care and they
                        asked me to mail to this ID. I tried mailing to
                        [protected]@airtelindia.com many times but there was no
                        response.

                          A few days ago, I had around Rs 60 in my balance. Today I checked and found that it had been reduced to Rs 1.93 without any usage!!

                          Moreover, airtel has no complaint system
                          On calling 121, the IVRS informs that we should call at 198
                          On calling 198, the IVRS informs that we should SMS "airtel" to 121.
                          On sending SMS, the reply comes - "Sorry, no matches found..."

                          This is really ridiculous. There is simply no way to complain!!!

                          AirTel is the biggest cheater amongst the mobile companies we have in India.

                          My advice for those looking for a new connection-

                          STAY AWAY FROM AIRTEL.

                            Since I own the airtel prepaid friends sim card, I am liable to call at 10 paisa per minute between 10 pm to 8 am and 3 pm to 5 pm to any airtel mobile number. But since last two days, They had charged at normal rate i.e. 1 Rs per minute during these concessional hours. So that I lost so many balances. And that I also came to know at the end of the call.
                            Still after complaining to them, they have not started the facility yet.

                            Please do something so that I would get my facility. Now I cant get that lost money due to negligence of the company.
                            My airtail friends no.is [protected].the service outgoing is stop.i have give every documents but
                            service is not started.i call to services in city in maharastra gondia they told that your data is deleted
                            what should i do.my name pramod s. sahare.

                              am a defence person and i came to PUNE for some medical check up.. my unit is in karnataka..i lost my mobile in pune last sunday...i had wrote an FIR solapur bazar police station on 16th and went to airtel head office IN PUNE next day to block my sim card ...frm there a lady sitting on cutomer care deck -her name is -----AJITHA CHIVATE----- made me stand infront of her desk for 15 minutesfor nothing since she was messaging her friend in her cell fone.. she chewing bublegum in her mouth havnt shown any manners towards.not even telling me to take a seat ...i wonder is this way i responsible person on duty behave to a customer who r already frustated of losing his mobile??? i wud like to tell airtel staff that they shud check up the family status of the people whom they choose for cutomer care..since a girl from a good family can never behave like this, even to a stranger...(my token no on that day was 33-mobile no-[protected]which is not working now)

                              my sim is rejected, i went to the show room located in NAAZCENTER in GUNTUR he took RS150 foe the new sim of same number but its cost is only RS100 the sim is activated but the incoming and outgoing calls are not going, we call the customer care there is no responce . due to not activation i lost much money i lost 1lakh rupees due to no connection available . i[censored] are not activated my calls i am going to case on u my number is [protected]

I wanted support from the bund garden road office to help in traking the mobile as I can provide the IMEI no.The executives bluntly refused saying that Airtel do not trake mobile nos.                               Airtel/Lifetime Free — Getting Sms of others /Earlier Card Holder

                              Since last two months some SMS pertaining to Dr. Bamanikar and Dr Sunita Baminikar are receiving on my mobile number. Those SMS are from ICICI Bank Credit card Dept. Similarly frequently I am receiving calls of Dr. Bamanikar and Dr Sunita Bamanikar. For this reasons I enquired with your Company's gallarly situated at Naupada Thane. They explained me that due to recycling of numbers already surrended by the earlier mobile number holder. This problem may occurred in case of few customers and they are unable to do and rectify the mistake.
                              I have taken this mobile sim card from Badlapur(East) dist Thane with submission of all my personal documents required by the company. The validity of the card is life time incoming calls free.
                              To attend another person calls are very embrassing. Please do the needful.

                              My name is Jay Sanyal.I am right now in durgapur(west bengal).I am using airtel pre-paid connection from last 2 years.recently i recharge my sms top-up Rs.51 and i get 500 SMS free.but on 1st jan 2009
                              when i send sms to others.my sms charges are deducted from my main account.
                              then i talk to customer care executive of airtel and that lady admitted that due to their some technical fault I doesnt get the message of their BLACK OUT DAY declairation.
                              after that when i asked for my money back and provide me information about their black out day.she start argue with me and refuse to provide any information regarding their so called BLACK OUT DAY.

                              this is my request please give me justice.why should i pay for their mistakes.i need my money back and secondly that customer care executive should be appolozied to me.
                              I have been requesting for the Airtel Internet wifi connection for the past 15 days but I had given response that Airtel will conduct a survey in that area and if possible connection will be established. But then there was no duration or estimated time and responsible person name given.
                              Before getting the Airtel services I had to visit the Aundh Airtel office, Pune in person 3 times and called number of times, but then no body gave a good response.
                              This shows that I would have to face many problems after getting the Airtel services.

                              Hope something will be done in terms of timely service delivery and responses to the customer questions. Because time does matter.

                              I have a connection it's life time free offer, now it's saying validity of this card expired, validity is there up to 2016, why it is like, wat is the problem of my connection.

                              I got a new airtel postpaid connection on d 27th of april bcoz i had to buy an iphone..the gallery attendend did not let me take a prepaid connection as he said it wont work..but later i did find out it works so i converted my postpaid card to prepaid card in the chinchwad airtel gallery..they specificallyy told me that i can switch over to the new airtel friends 20 pack and took 156 conversion cahrges form me..now the problem is they have converted my card to the old airtel campus n im having a lot of problems bcause no1 else uses this now.when i told the gallery person mr vikas he said he had called me up to ask which plan i wanted which he never did, , he lied staight to my face..this is not acceptable..when i call them now they say mr vikas has gone out..plz see to this

It has been resubmitted on the 28th Jul 09.Immediately after the service was suspended. This connection was given by Mr.Aniket as part of his marketing in the month of March 09.It is in the name of Mr. Srinivas Sastry.We are been contacting Mr Aniket regarding the connection but there has been no response. The Customer Care Executive asks us to Contact the Airtel Relationship Centre in Chinchwad where we had submitted the documents. When we contact them they say speak to the CCE as we cannot help you, and now they have stopped taking the call.                               I frequently visit India. Airtel and my mobile company abroad share partnership, that is why I chose Airtel. Initially service was good. During my last three visits I noticed, every few minits some amount gets debited to my account. (now I used prepaid account, due to anomalies in billing I surrendered my post paid account last december) I tried calling the number for complain, nothing happenes, you keep on holding and get frustated. During my last trip I went to their tilak road office, inturn I was connected to bombay office. They told me to discontine some service, which I never opted for. I returned to Pune this time on July 30. I paid Rs.295 on July 31st via transaction number[protected], Since then I made 7 calls totalling to 4 min 30 seconds and 4 SMS and balance is 255.80. This seems quite weired and most expensive. If I contine getting some debit every few minits I will be forced to close airtel account. I dont like to go to consumer court for such a silly reason.

                              I am using Airtel from last years and I am happy with it but today (On 12 Oct 2010) my all outgoing and incoming services are stopped. Whenever I called from the same number there is one recorded message says that I did not submitted necessary documents to the Airtel. I understand it is mandatory from the Government of India but as per my knowledge I had submitted all necessary documents when I bought this connection. I also underwent cross checking of these documents before couple of years.

                              At least they should have to ask me before barring my connection.

                              It does not suit to Airtel to act like that. I am business person and always need proper contact with my clients. Due to such treatment and services I am loosing my business.
                              I applied for Airtel Broadband Connection on 8th September 2010. The Sales person (Mahesh) came to collect the application and all necessary papers. He promised that the I will get the connection within six days. After following with the Sales person and the Customer Care (Vishal and Chitra), finally their electrician (Rathore) came to verify wiring. He did not properly verify the wiring and I got my own electrician to check the wiring.

                              After that started my terrible period of follow up with Airtel. For over twenty days I kept calling Sales person and Customer care personnel. They informed that they have SYSTEM problem and would not give any definite time to finish the work. What kind of SYSTEM problems will a reputed company like Airtel had that they could not provide new Broadband connection?

                              They kept lying over and over again. They including the Sales person stopped responding to my phone calls. if at all some one picked up the phone they will say they will call back after 10 minutes or one hour. Bur no reply came. It is shameful for personnel from such an organization to behave in such a callous manner. It is a gisgrace to Airtel.

                              I have learnt the hard way to never deal with AIRTEL.

                              I will urge all my friends and those who read this email that they should remain 1000 feet away from AIRTEL products.

                              I am very much dissatisfied with customer care service of airtel. they simply deduct balance by activating any scheme randomly without the permission of the customer and customer care executive is never available on any of their toll free numbers. only pre-recorded msgs sound, which gives information about how to desubscribe that value added service which they had activated without our permission. but they never connect customer with their customer-care executive. and furthermore no facility is there to avail our deducted balance back. the number on which customer-care executive is available directly is not tall-free. so this is their ridiculous business strategy of earning money harassing their customers. i have registererd complaint regarding this, many times earlier both at airtel head-office as well as in consumer-court, but no action was ever taken. so, this time there is hight of harassment and i am going to switch from airtel to other service provider. portability of number empowered my descision. i cant stay with airtel any longer. hence i am complaining for public interest and to request airtel that plz stop doing this with your other customers. i am not going to be your customer any longer. one more suggestion, Airtel's internet facility is just worst. for hours and for days it remains "Network unavailable"

                              They have promised an installation on 9th afternoon at 2:30 PM. I took leave and waited for them. They did not turn up even after enormous number of calls that I made from my mobile. every call was on hold for long timke as well. Finally I asked for supervisor and the lady disconnected the call. I called back and was promised a superviosr call within 1 hour. Nothing happened. On 10th morning, called up again and was lucky enopugh to speak to a escallation agent. He has promised an installation now. In the afternoon, I am getting a call asking if the issue was resolved. What should I say??? I donno how they can take Indian customers for granted and do this to us. We might not be paying in dollars, but still we are paying and also much more than the local cable guy. Please treat customers with respect as we are ur bread and butter. Pathetic service. Issue still stands un resolved. Without installation daily my recharged amount is reducing as burn rate. Pathetic!!!!!!!!! I will never buy an Airtel product again.
                              They have still not bothered to insatall the same even after numerous calls to them today. Customer care is not having a status also on the same. Dont know how to end this trauma.

I subscribed for south ultra for 209 channels, now I am seeing south ultra with 180 channels in my account. Gosh, 180 channles should be south Mega. My package is being charged 424.64 monthly where as your website says rs 375 + taxes which should come to approx 397 rs. flexible package with lesser channels for more cost for a special customer is it, Airtel ?                                 i have been a prepaid customer o[censored]r airtel services for the last 6years.since last two days, i.e.19th and 20th june, i am facing loss of network coverage as soon as i enter roaming network.when, today i called up ur customer care executive, HE DENIED TO LODGE A COMPLAINT.THIS IS REALLY SORRY STATE FOR A COMPANY LIKE "AIRTEL".BUT THIS IS SHOCKING AS WELL.

                                  Dear Sir,
                                  I'm airtel subscriber. My mobile number is: [protected]. On[protected] I requested Mr. Janak Raj and collection coordinator Mr. Manoj to switch over my airtel postpaid connection to prepaid. And for this purpose, I paid them Rs: 750 on their demand to make the connection prepaid from postpaid. And they took my Sim and got back me a new piece of Sim and promised me the connection will be activated the very next day. But when the connection was not activated, I personally met the owner of Ashu Telecom, Fazilka and told him my grievances. He told me the different story with the words that they have given me a wrong sim. And he asked me submit the SIM to him he would change it next day. I trusted him and gave the SIM to him. The Next day so far has not come. Now, I requested all the gentlemen Manoj & Janak Raj and the owner of the Ashu Telecom Mr. Tarsem. Then, I also telephonally talked to Airtel Customer care executive Mr. Naresh Ji but he has no answer to my grievances execpt for the demand of Rs: 1000 more to start my connection. It is sad to mention that whether I have no SIM for the last two months (From[protected] to till date) why should I pay the bill without any connection or SIM. Rather I'm in trouble because my mobile is not working and a great loss has done to me for the negligence on the part of your department.

                                    Every day simply Rupee is getting deducted from my balance though i do not have that plan. So far I have complained 5 times regaeding this to Customer care, but they simply say
                                    " It is some technical problem and will be clarified within one or two days". So far i haven't got any solution for this and thats why i have been planning to change my mobile connection to someother.

                                      -I had a AirTel postpaid connection since 4 months and due to their erotic billing and hopeless service I was terribly irritated.
                                      -None of them know any information when I call them on the discrepancies in my billing, including their Managers, rather Damagers!! - - -And the call center executives are terribly mis-leading with their half-baked knowledge. Even If I scream at them, they've been trained
                                      to be buffalo-skinned and get strokes on their buttocks!
                                      -Whenever you start reporting any problems to them seriuosly, they just disconnect the call because you are not going to talk to the same 'bum' again, right.
                                      -But, anything related to the payment like collection, payment due date, payment follow-up calls works excellent.
                                      Fed up of their non-sense and stupid billing, I switched to Airtel Prepaid. This is another big Gutter!!!
                                      - Switching took 8 days
                                      - Recharging failed repeatedly and it took 2 days to get activated.
                                      - Finally, recharged my prepaid with 498 plan with a talk time of Rs.300
                                      - 2 days after the recharge, all my outgoing calls are barred. My balance them was Rs.297
                                      - It has become my usual practice to call them thrice a day and scream at them to activate my outgoing calls. Most of the time, they disconnect the call.
                                      - Finally, I managed to file 2 complaints and the estimated resolution was 6 days later.
                                      - Luckily, it got activated on the 5th day.
                                      - 6th day was the resolution day - I got an sms that my service complaint has been resolved.
                                      - Just after the SMS, all my outgoing calls were barred again. My balance was Rs.284.60
                                      Looks like, the service guy switched my connection from 'working' state to 'non-working' state. Bacause, they are buffalos right - they just reverse the connection!

                                      surrendered the sim.
                                      1) Then How come I have the balance bill?
                                      2) If I really have the balance bill, what the executives did on July 27th, why

                                      didn't ask the complete amount from me? or Am I partner of Airtel?
                                      3) Instead of collecting the entire balance money on the surrender day, they sent
                                      'Outstanding payment' letter. No phone intimations. Especially no bills.
                                      Please think, is it a good practice?


                                      Any how, I believed Airtel, and I sent my sim surrender payment details through courier
                                      to MOHAMED SAJU.M.(Corporate collections.). They didn't even reply to my courier but again
                                      they sent the same 'Outstanding payment' letter (See the carelessness)

                                      Meanwhile, I received a message from customer care service on 6th december, that says,

                                      'Your Service Request number is 19630814 and we will get back to you by 16 dec, 1000 hours'
                                      I'm asking to you, Do you really need TEN days to solve this issue.
                                      Is this the condition for a responsible person in a standard organisation?
                                      Is this the condition for a responsible person who paid all his previous payments

                                      Leave it. Again I believed Airtel and waited upto 16th December, today.
                                      Nobody, Nobody responded for my issue, Still my sim is in 'Registration failed' status.

                                      sir i got airtel connnection in august 2007(mobile no: was [protected]). from that date i was using this no: continue ...after 14 months .i got new airtel no: ([protected] )and that's why i did not used this no([protected]) continuesly and after getting this no:([protected]), i destroy this sim ([protected]) .

                                      but sir i got a information that any other person using this number.
                                      sir please tell me ...is it possible that this number can used by other person if i was not using this number for a long time (when i destroyed this sim number already)

                                      i connect 40 days back the gprs daily rental plan . closed to after 10days.but daily charged the airtel . more and more time i complaint. but no use. lose and lose me. so please solve my problem. because i closed my number. i transerved to another company. so plz...
                                      all 3 of my office landline airtel phones are not working properly. so i called up airtel customer care to complain. A girl called Sharmistha talked to me and took the complaint. But the problem here is her attitude. She was really rude talking to me as compared to other customer care executives, of other services such as Vodafone, Dell etc. this is really disgusting. if the executive is there to help us why cant they talk nicely and show a little respect, atleast for the company's sake. I HOPE AIRTEL WILL GET THIS MESSAGE AND TRAIN ITS EXECUTIVES IN A BETTER WAY.
                                      I wonder why airtel is not closing its operations in India and move all the customer services to Africa where people are going to roast them and eat them for the f...king services they are providing in India.

                                      The shameless still have the audacity to restrict customer's calls and send them bill.
                                      They are not in position to resolve even the simplest of the query and in case you are working on the net at night, the net goes down and on contacting the technical help desk with a desire to complain the same thing to the manager, you find no fu...ers on the floor. How the f...k the call center runs without a manager. They ask to arrange a call back and guess what ...you forget about the call back they do not even mention this on your account that you called these pimps...At the end you land up screwing your own happiness rather then theirs.
                                      PLEASE SOMEONE IN GOVERNMENT SHOULD TAKE ACTION AND GET THIS COMPANY CLOSED.

                                      Airtel — rude responsive customer care executive

                                      I have submitted my documents to airtel but still they have cut my outgoing and incoming services. When I call the customer care they are responding as though they are giving free services to me. I want to lodge a legal complaint towards bharati airtel ltd for that.

Recharge is successful but talk time added for only 46 rupees. I asked that shop keeper about this but he dint respon me. I want to file a complaint against that Shop keeper.                                       i am using airtel prepaid connection from last approx.6 years in up west zone. on 17th of january 2011 suddenly my airtel live start and my balance reduced upto Rs.300/- in few hours. i was very upset and complaint wid respective airtel customer care centre. but the behaviour of their staff was very bad, even after complaining verious time i didnt get gud response. i dont know how such big company like airtel is very careless about his precious customers. Thanks to trai, who has provided such facility to change ur service provider widout changing ur telephone no.
                                      my experience with airtel is very bad and i ll never suggest to all my frds and rltives to buy connection from airtel. gud luck to airtel for loosing their respective customers.

                                      for the last three months i am using airtel services .i was under impression that
                                      services of private sector might be better than mtnl/bsnl.but it was wrong impression.now i feel that govt services are far batter than airtel.
                                      i have lodged my complaint three times that till to day my land line connection is not connected, i am not using land line facility.even bill is receiving every month for minimum Rs 200/ .your line 121&198 never connected to right person to whom i can talk. please look in to the matter. my mopbile no is [protected].
