    My Name is Dharmendra singh Working in onr of the most Reputed FMCG company. I have purchasad Airtel (Micromax) USB (Black Color) Internet connection port. It work only Home town. I am frequently go outside the town like (kolkata, Delhi etc). But When I use Airtel (Micromax) USB (Black Color) Internet connection port in Roaming then USB Port showing error 619. Many time I call center guy to solve my problem but they are unable to solve my problem. MY USB Airtel (Micromax) USB (Black Color) Internet connection no is [protected]. So pls solve my problem or refund my Full money.

    Subject: Deactivation / Disconnection of Web Access without any prior information.

    Dear Sir / Madam,

    I have purchased a USB Modem to get access to Internet via a Post Paid Connection, activated on 3rd of April, 09. The above process took place at the instance of Mr. Varun (M.No. [protected]), whom I made contact to get the said connection. Mr. Varun directed Mr. Atul (M.No. [protected]) to rush to my house to get install the modem with Post Paid SIM. The activation took place on 3rd of April, 09. Mr. Atul asked me to give some documents to prove my identity. The documents are handed over to Mr. Atul to his satisfaction.
    On 16.4.09 in the evening, a lady (M.No. [protected]) asked me my address details telephonically & further details of residential proof were asked by a person (M.No. [protected]) on 17.4.09. From then onward my Net Access is deactivated. On my enquiry on 18.4.09 at Shivani Plaza Office, Gomti Nagar, Lucknow, a lady told me that due to some problem with address verification, the service has been deactivated. On my persistence that all formalities are done & get me connected, she expressed her helplessness.
    I made repeated attempts to get access to talk to any executive dialing the number 121 but there is no response. I don’t know who is the responsible personnel in your office to whom such neglect could be addressed.
    Kindly clarify on the following : -
    1. Without knowledge of the customer how the connection gets deactivated.
    2. Who will bear the cost of tarrif during the days of deactivation.
    3. How long it will take to get the connection activated.

    we have facing same kind of problem
    We too facing the same problem. after so many trips to airtel customer cervice center, they said, it is not possible to activity the same number as it is already deactivated. i had a big fight with them and asked for refund. But ultimately it is of no use and they asked me to go for the new number by paying 1000 rupees deposit.

    Though i have given written complaint on the fake address verification comment, i got to endup by giving money and got another connection.

    not sure when this connection is going to be deactivated for any bull reason. but one thing is of sure that this company is cheating all innocent people.
    Internet through Airtel USB Modem is the worst ever connection I have ever used. First an foremost it took me nearly 10 days to get registered. Then 3-4 days again for my USB to get activated and to get signal. Eventually my friend help me out in getting the signal as the Airtel people were incommunicado. Now When I got the signal, the speed is so poor it takes me a minute to open Orkut, Facebook never opens. My Rs. 3000 went under water. Any means to get a refund by surrendering the USB to the Airtel.
    i also have an micromax airtel connection, i also agree that the speeds are so slow, it takes a long time to open common sites like facebook, orkut, yahoo etc...alo when i plug it into the system i get an error message saying'Hi speed device plugged into a non hi speed port'.. even though my Pc is usb 2.0 compliant... can any one help me with this problem????
    I m also using airtel Micro max for the first few days it worked comparatively slow but now its pathetic ... it takes several min just to open up a site ...n thinking to login gtalk will take minimum 1 hr n it ll keep on disconnecting ...so now i realise that its the biggest blunder to buy net connect of airtel so called micro max ...its name should be "never connect " ... henceforth i would like to suggest the other people thinking to go for a airtel micro max to give it a second thought .

      recharge through net banking

      Hello Sir/Madam

      I recharged my Airtel prepaid account through online net banking for Rs.333 on my cell no. [protected]. but my cell didn't get credited even... customer service executive told me that, "we will credit Your amount in your bank account. but still i didn't get that amount in my bank acount.

      Please do needful.

      I am also victim of this scam of tashan & airtel.
      we have to put this complaint overall web & about airtel to cheat the customers for suddenely charging without knowedge of customer.
      This is very bad for reputation if Airtel.

      This is unauthorized, how could Airtel Deduct without any confirmation over an sms or so from the Customer. Please feel to file at the nearest consumer forum.

      i had activated 1rs gprs internet plan.. 10mb free, one day vailidity on 16th mar. lated i browsed after checking status of gprs. although plan is activated main balace started to deduct... how its possible... they dont recieve customer call also.. i tried thousand times.. due to this i lost around 65rupees. help me to get my amount....
      Overall behavior of Airtel is disgusting. They make such things usually when you have bance more than INR 200. I hate such unethical practises, am sure Airtel is going to lose a lot of customers only for this reason.

      Bharti Airtel — deduction of unauthorized charges

      i was surfing sony ericsson's site, and was on free content page, even any one can open that page, it is clearly mentioned that each and every content is free of charge, i downloaded a free games, just then i got a msg, thanks for downloading content from hungama airtel, and i have been charged Rs 99/- for this, i called 198 regarding the refund, they told i have been surfing hungama airtel,

      these guys are doing nothing, with proud i used to say i m an airtel customer, and every frnd and family members i used to recommend airtel, but now m quite disappointed with it and planning to move on .

      even when i clicked on that games for every click they deduct 5 rs everytime, i got msg as thanks for hungama airtel blah blah

      Bharti Airtel — Unauthorized charges

      I have been having an airtel connection for 5 years now.
      Under the same I had opted for advance rental plan of 499 for 1 year in the month December'2010.
      However when the same came up for renewal, airtel without taking my consent renewed my plan for 3 years @999.
      Whenever I called up customer care, they said they will get back to me for the same.
      After 2 times of the same hapening , I insisted that my line be transfered to the senior but they dc the line after keeping on hold for a few minutes.
      After no revert from them I paid an amount of 1588 last month and now again inspite of no usage they are following up for a bill amount.
      On asking them I do not get a revert about WHO authorized to charge me 999 and if 999 has been charged then why am I being sent a bill of approx 250 monthly even when there is no usage except for GPRS for which I pay Rs 99 monthly.

      Airtel — Deduction of unauthorized charges

      Unauthorized charges for download of games and use of internet amounting to around Rs.259/- was made on 30th May,2012 and June 1, 2012.
      I lodged a complained about it and was told by the service personnel that it was caused by malfunctioning of the system and the amount would be restored back in to my account after 4 hours. In fact I did not download any games and I have not subscribed the internet, till now. The amount has not been restored by the company till now. On the other hand they are falsely claiming and insisting that the deduction was made for use of internet and Rs.85 have been restored. Airtel is deducting balance even when i hear operator message that the phone is busy or the phone is switched off. also when i talk to a person on phone, the time when i hear ringtone is also deducted from the balance. when i talked to airtel complaint center, he wasted 1 hour of mine and then said that the problem is at your end. very poor service and very poor customer care. on top of it, i have big network problems even in city of bangalore.

        I activated DND on 25/11/07 request no.S[protected] as told by Manoj, Team Leader, Indore (M.P.) on 12/04/09 received a call from the executive regarding a compliant & please have the Reference No.s for the past complaint's

        There are more no. but they are not featuring in website & when asked from Manoj, Team Leader, Indore (M.P.)told that due as there systems are not working properly so cannot provide in the past also I enquired about the Sr.No.s & the no. from which I am getting messages but got the same reply .

        Since I have taken this no.I am getting the promotional sms which i don't like & giving regular complaints for the same, the co. is also taking the complaint after a some time calls me & tells that they send a letter to the concern no. holder for the same & your problem will be solved.But again after some time i start getting sms & the same process is followed.


        Inspite of regular complaints I am not happy with services regarding DND provided to me by the even the executive are also not so supportive & helpfull.

        Please find the attachment file for the complaints SR No.s & there status as available on website of Airtel.

        My service provider intentionally sends all SMS though I registered for DND and it iwas activated around one year ago. WHY THEREAFTER EVERYDAY SO MANY SMS COMING ? IT IS MOST EMBARRASSING.

            This regarding my air tel which is been 10 year s old now([protected]) I should tell you about my complain my billing cycle 12 of every month last month my accountant before going for leave he made the cash payment 1000 rs for my mobile but my bill was I suppose 1271 rupees so carry forward amount is two hundred seventy one rupees since then I start getting calls from air tel for balance on that very day itold them that balance will be taken care by my people and me or that bill will be deposited with next cycle bill aft that I start getting 6 to 8 calls in day and till date I am getting 6to 8 calls for balance on other hand that amount is already reflecting in this month bill the way you people treating your 10 years old costumer its very shame full for two hundred rupees or while I was making complain to 121 customer service centre received the same call from your collection house phone no is[protected]/[protected] you can see the in coming call record (reference no[protected]received sms before that I had word with 121 people on 9of April they given me nodal officer no([protected]), which I kept dialling for whole day no response at all I suppose they are not in position to short out the problems now shortly I am shouting down this no. and I have given 12or 13 connection to my people so those line will not continue with in month I will close down all .

            One more thing I would like to draw your Attention that shortly iam in process of sending legal notice to your company for mantle harassment and aim going to consumer court kindly arrange interest for my ten thousand rupees which you kept as security more then 8years so I want you to give me interest for that period and now

              I am facing this problem for the last four months and my repeted compalints failed to solve the problem.

              Till now i am not able to get proper signal in WIlson garden which is heart of the city of Banagalore.



              I am doing my own bussiness and becaus e of this we are loosing lots of bussiness.



              I did not paid my bill for last two months and informed you about non payment.



              Yesterday on 11/04/2009 i had paid 2000INR my otstanding bill and received the acknoledgeet from your end.



              I contacted your customer care and asked them to activate my outgoing calls and assured me that this will be done withing 8 working hours.



              But unfortunatly my outgoing calls are still barred and its almost more than 25 hours after my payment.



              I am very much upset and frustated with your dirty service, you people just take cutomer money and not even bother to take care of your customers.



              None of your executive visited my place and checked the problem.



              I going to now consumer court to file a official compalint.

                I am a Airtel digital tv user in Chennai. We used to get POGO channel programs in English language earlier...But now these people at Airtel DIGITAL have made it compulsory Hindi...American cartoons speaking HINDI. ... Like it? YEW!!!..

                Besides their language change option on Remote control does not work..It's the same everywhere in Chennai..It's just in Hindi... like it or not...
                WHY??
                Is this imposition of HINDI on South Indians by this north India based company...?

                Besides JETIX channel was there in Tamil too in Chennai by cable...unfortunately that option is also closed...Airtel gives what it wants and we have no choice, except paying again what ever they ask...

                What is this company coming to these days...their customer care is just blah-blah---blahhh!

                Well Nagesh, you can change the language for particular chanels. Press the blue buton on your remote, language will come up, select English and you will hear the cartoons spng in English. This is the feature which is available in DTH. You can also chnge the langugae for CN, Discovery, Fox, NatGeo...
                Blue button isn't showing any option to change language...
                I second you @nagesh, English is striked while trying to change language using blue button.
                Why not play Pogo in Tamil in North India?
                I am also facing the same problem regarding language. I am not able to change disney, pogo channels in english language. They are in hindi language. I called airtel customer care and also the local technician. The answer i got it is if airtel has the transmission in english then it will come or else it will not come. But nobody has confirmed me that whether airtel has transmission of disney and pogo in enlglish language or not. Very poor service.

                    I applied for a broadband connection.
                    While filling form that airtel agent told will get connection in 3 days.
                    If it is reliance or tata will get connection in a day.
                    Hmm... Ok... 3days...
                    After 3days also there is no response from airtel.
                    I called my agent to ask about its atatus.
                    He was not picking my call.
                    Then i wrote a letter to care. [protected]@airtel.In & nodel officer
                    I wait for their response.
                    But there was no use of that.
                    Next day many times i called my agent to get connection...
                    He picked up my call and said some problems...
                    Connection will give on tomarrow...
                    I told no! I want today itself or cancel my request...
                    He told ill give you manager mobile number.
                    Ok...
                    I called his manager..
                    And started a conferrence with manager and agent.
                    Finally they told please wait for a day also.
                    Hmmmm... I told ok.
                    Next day...
                    I started calling that agent...
                    Same response...
                    Not picking my call...
                    I have tried arround 6 hours...
                    He picked one of my call and talked me roughly...
                    That was 'today also cant give connection'
                    I called his manager... He told wait..
                    Let me check with him
                    I told... Ok
                    After 30 minutes i have tried to reach that manager...
                    He switched off his mobile...

                    This is the current status of airtel broadband connection...
                    No time sense...

                    I too faced similar problem not only once, but twice...After making me wait for days, they told they cannot provide connection. I dunno why they show ads on TV and send ads through SMS when they cannot provide.

                    Airtel / Broadband and mobile — Rip off

                    Hi,
                    Can you please advise how should I complain against the ongoing rip-off from Airtel in the broadband as well as mobile division? I have been having problem in terms o[censored]n-wanted services being added to my braodband connection and mobile connection such as unwanted anti-virus (for which they charged me m 250 INR / month), unwanted caller tunes (charged me 30 Rs / months), unwanted downloaded (charged me 100 INR /month). Airtel has also engaged in the practice o[censored]nauthorized additions / modifications of my bill plans - for example, added a a package of 1000 A2A calls in the package for a monthly cost of 250 INR / month without my authorization or request.

                    I have made repeated calls requests to Airtel for not charging me un-necessarily but each time the reponse is callous, inadequate and completely consumer unfriendly. I just dont know how much profit airtel wants that it can't stop finding news ways to charge its customers.

                    I also have the lot of billing issues with airtel mobile connection. i have raised this issue on 12th June 2009, but i haven't got any response to this compliant.
                    Worest servicein the world is airtelbroadband. i didnot get service till date after shifted to new house.

                    It took them almost 4-5 months to get me a connection for which I had to pay a fresh deposit...
                    They haven't returned my previous deposit... Their customer service SUCKS!!!

                    Worst still ... I requested for a shifting of connection ... I was given a date and it's been 1 week - am still calling them everyday ... confirming a mobile number, an alternative number, my address - they want to be sure if I know where I live... wow!!!

                    I took a broadband connection, a month back at my residence. I was promised a gift option of a pair of shades or a wrist watch. When will I get the gift ?
                    I too applied for a broadband connection. While filling form, the agent told me that i will get connection in 10 to 15 days. I also paid the full amount as he was asking for it. I paid around3500, i think. After 15 days i called up the agent and he said he will come the next day. I waited, but as usual he didn't come. I called the next day, he didn't came and it went on for 5 days. I also went to the nearest ([censored])airtel office and they said that there are no network coverage in my place and wait for 3 more days. After the three days, i again went to the office, but this time they are saying no ports are available. Hearing this i went for cancelling the installation and asked for refund. The refund came, but i got only Rs. 500 and there with the check it was written that i have cancelled my connection and my account is closed, but i never took a connection and never there was an account of mine, the agent never reached my house with the broadband, wires, adapters, etc. I called my agent to ask about it, but he was too busy to pick my call up. I went to the office but no attention was taken so i left the office angrily. Its not about the money i am angry about, its the reaction of ([censored])airtel agents. Just want to [censored]ing rip them off. Doesn't care about the customer's at all.

                    One of my friend told that Airtel is giving good service and that makes me to think for a connection in the place of BSNL. I have made my booking July 14, 2011 and was promised that i will be getting the connection by 25th July. But till today I have not get the connection. All the cable and wiring works have been completed in couple of days yet no connection. Your representative Mr. Rahman (his contact number: [protected]) had interacted with me in the beginning and my attempt to contact him was failure for the past 3 weeks. Then I was able to reach Mr. Ashok ( contact number :[protected]) and he updated me with a story for allotment of phone number and he promised me that the connection will be given before the end of August 06, 2011. August 08, 2011 has been reached and I have not get my connection nor a courtesy call from your representative for the delay.

                    Is this the way you are giving new connection. After paying the amount for the connection, you are expecting that the customer should beg for the connection? Even BSNL is far far better i guess after using it for 3 years i dint face problems like now.

                      “I had purchased Airtel Connection on 19th January’2005 from below Airtel Showroom:

                      That time Airtel had launched Two Year’s Advance Rental Plan for Rs.1399/-, first time. In this plan, Rs.899/- were for Two year's Rental & Rs.500/- for Membership Fee. Out of these Rs.500/-, Rs.250/- was refundable after two years, i.e. after expiry of rental period, which many times I got confirmed from Airtel's customer care executives during the rental period.

                      After expiry of the rental period, from Airtel I got a call regarding renewal of the connection and I give consent to continue this connection by paying Rs.999/- for Three Year’s Advance Rental Plan in March’2007. That time also I, I asked him for refund of Security Deposit but the excutive replied that security deposit refunded only after surrender of connection. On 13th August’08, I surrender my connection at your Airtel Relationship Center at Naraina by migrating it to Pre-paid connection. I again asked them for refund of security deposit they replied me that refund will be made within 60-90 days after the date of surrender. I waited for 3 months but all in vain, I got no refund at all. Then I took decision to write email to [protected]@airtelindia.com and wrote a request email on 3rd December 2008 but for reply I had to wait more than one month. On 7th January 2009, I received email asking the following details of my post paid connection:

                      Name of the Airtel Showroom (where you paid deposit)
                      Place of amount paid
                      Date of amount paid
                      Copy of Bill……………….?

                      I provided all details, except the copy of Bill, as didn’t have the same. But to my surprise, I got replied from Airtel that there is not record of any Security Deposit. I again replied by providing more information about the plan, under which I bought the connection and finally I got reply on 9th February that my concern has been forwarded to the respective department and provided me Service Request Number 20584947 and wrote that they will informed me about the revert by 19th February 2009.

                      But I got no revert from Airtel, so I asked for the resolution quoting the said service request number on 2nd March 2009. On 4th March, I got reply that “we are unable to provide you that refund amount as there is no deposit amount found in your recodes. Hence we are unable to provide you the refund amount”.

                      I know under which plan I bought the connection but there is not record in Bharti Airtel. What kind of company is this, who is not keeping thier customer's proper data.

                      I request to all who are AIRTEL's customer be aware and try to get the refund of your connection in time otherwise they will forfiete all the money.

                      There is no refund of dposit given back, despite having disconnected the services, pathetic customer service on mails, helpline numbers & relationship centres. They are not bothered for the same & are shameless.

                      I HAVE AN AIRTEL POSTPAID CONNECTION IN MY NAME. DESPITE PAYING ALL THE DUES AND PROPERLY SURRENDER THE SIM I STILL NOT RECEIVED MY SECURITY DEPOSIT AMOUNT FROM THE COMPANY. I HAVE ALSO TALKED TO CUSTOMER CARE PERSONS, BUT THEY DID NOT ANSWER SATISFACTORILY.

                      Airtel — No refund of Security Deposit since February 2009

                      I am a resident of Suvarnabaug Colony in Kothrud, Pune. In last November I fell pray to the hard selling by Airtel's salesman who came to my residence informing me that Airtel had planned to install a tower near my apartment building which will ensure excellent signal quality. He offered an attractive scheme and I believed him since I had never experienced Airtel before. I bought the connection for my wife by paying Security Deposit of Rs. 500/- which was refundable after three months.

                      My wife used the number [protected] for close to three months during which time most often her mobile could not be reached though she was mostly at home. This was due to poor quality of signal. She could also not make any calls during this time and got really frustrated with Airtel service. In spite of her repeatedly calling Airtel Call Centre for assistance, the situation never improved and we disconnected the number in Febraury.

                      My wife had asked them to adjust the bill amounts in the security deposit and refund the balance. We were asked to pay the last bill and were assured that the SD will be refunded by cheque which will be delivered to our residence address.

                      It has been over 7 months and we have paid several visits to Airtel outlet on Karve Road. The Airtel outlet does not take any responsibility and we are required to call their toll free number from the outlet where we speak with some faceless call centre employee who assures us that the refund cheque will be definitely sent in about 10 days - this has happened 2-3 times, yet we have not received the refund amount.

                      Mr. Sunil Bharti Mittal, if you ever read the complaints and really think you want to make a world class Telecom company, I am sorry to say that you have miles to go to even make it an India class company - your staff is pathetic in communication and apathetic to the customer. Drop MTN and focus on serving India better first would be my sincere advice.

                        I really gets harrassed even if I am not using Airtel Live but still charged Rs.-50/-per month and a message comes to me from 64611010/ 64611050/ 543212 stating...Thanks for using (subscription, Text based services) subscription service on Airtel WAP. You 've been charged Rs 50.

                        How to get rid of the problem? If anybody knows, please help me.                           i had purchased a postpaid connection( 299 mazik plan by paying Rs 500) from bharti airtel in 2nd april 2009 which was activated on the next day.but on 8th april i had got a sms from 121 for submiting my documents to the airtel reletionship center in 72 hours while i already submited my document ( a copy of pan card, acopy of rasan card) when i purchase the plan. but when i was again going for submiting the doc. they (airtel relationship center HILINE M-5 connaught place New Delhi -110001 E MAIL :cp.[protected]@airtel, in ) said the rasan card is not valid for addres proof while customer care says its valid & i also have a govt. bank account state bank of patiala.. but they will not reciving the same.

                            I have a two airtel post paid connection [protected], and [protected]. At the time of opening a post paid connection I receive the oral communication regarding airtel plan to airtel sales team member and I select a first number was under cug in Bharti Axa Group and second number was add-onn. I got a oral conformation regarding payment detail also. The first number plan is Rs.199 monthly rental plus 300 minutes free call mobile to mobile and 200 sms free. And second number plan (add-on) monthly rental is Rs.99 only and 100 minutes free call to any mobile. But the airtel sales team changing my plan without my knowledge against the add-on number. I am not finding in First month fill I found that error on second month bill.

                            8th jan 2009 I registered my complaint regarding wrong commitment provided by airtel sales team and I am asking rework on my bill. The complaint number is 20145743.
                            And I receive the airtel brand watch as a gift of opening an add-on number (but it is not working).
                            Before I talk to (121) airtel customer care, I thought the executive change my plan but after spoke to customer care I got the information plan is not changed, there is no plan like Rs.99 Add-on, and I got a clear conformation from airtel customer care airtel executive given a wrong commitment.
                            And I try to discuss regarding my problem to that particular airtel executive, but never attend my call
                            Now I am receive the legal notice from airtel. Because of legal notice I not able to work my job freely and affected in mental wise.

                            In legal notice they are given two contact numbers for any queries regarding the letter.the two numbers are [protected] and [protected] but both the number are not able to contact because two reason are 1. Not reachable 2. Nobody attend the call when the connection is not busy.

                            After some period I am sending mail to [protected]@airtelindia.com and I get reply from airtel but they are said your plan is Rs.149(Rs.99 for rental and Rs.50 for Unlimited cug). Actually I am asking Rs.99 plan without Cug plan.

                            And I given a clear information and picture regarding error to airtel but they are not accepting my point of view. And they are got the conformation to Executive, So they are always telling Rs 149 Plan is activated for you some times they are not sending any reply other than auto - acknowledgment. This is the issue I am not given any conformation to activate to Rs.149 plan.

                            After finding error I am not using [protected] this number. But they are send a bill to me for non-using month also.

                            Now I am receive the legal notice from airtel. Because of legal notice I not able to work my job freely and affected in mental wise.
                            In legal notice they are given two contact numbers for any queries regarding the letter.the two numbers are [protected] and [protected] but both the number are not able to contact because two reason are 1. Not reachable 2. Nobody attend the call when the connection is not busy.
                            After some period I am sending mail to [protected]@airtelindia.com and I get reply from airtel but they are said your plan is Rs.149(Rs.99 for rental and Rs.50 for Unlimited cug). Actually I am asking Rs.99 plan without Cug plan.
                            And I given a clear information and picture regarding error to airtel but they are not accepting my point of view. And they are got the conformation to Executive, So they are always telling Rs 149 Plan is activated for you. This is the issue I am not given any conformation to activate to Rs.149 plan.
                            After finding error I am not using [protected] this number. But they are send a bill to me for non-using month also.

                            99 cug — Not connect to 121

Please change this plan to 400 Double. It is your fault so i will not be bear any amount against this plan.,

                            airtel postpaid connections — wrong communications about my no

                            Dear Officer,

                            I was using the post paid connection of Airtel([protected]). in which due payment was 7214(approx).
                            This was due to my non employment. In the month of March , Mr. Sameer Malhotra([protected]) had called me up & said that he had waived off my late fine charges of Rs.500/- so please deposit Rs.6700/- asap to retain this number. Prior to this I had gone to Airtel relationship centre , Malviya Nagar, who told that my no is permanently disconnected. Mr Sameer assured me that he will start this no within 24 hrs. I gave his representative Rs.5000/- cash & cheque of Rs.1700/-of dated 10.04.10. Now neither my no get activated nor Samir is attending the call. So after several try to connect with Sameer, I am biased to drop this mail to you for justice.I have already stopped the cheque of Rs.1700/- also yesterday.

                            Request you to please provide me the same number because I have been using the same no for last 6 years.

                            At the time of opening a post paid connection I receive the oral communication regarding airtel postpaid 149 rental plan to airtel sales team member. The Plan was he told me is A to A = 30 paise/min, A + O= 30 paise/min and STD calls= 50 Paise/min. So I go with this plan and covert my prepaid Airtel to 149 rental Postpaid plan.

                            After moves to postpaid, I have registered with Artel and check my call rates plan, the 149 rental charges seen as A to A = 40 paise/min, A + O= 50 paise/min and STD calls= 1 Rupees/min.

                            Both are totally different, This is totally unexpected. My mobile number is [protected]. If some will not take action for this from Airtel service then I will close my Postpaid connection and will no longer with this Airtel service.

                                I am a user of Airtel Broadband Service at Chandigarh. I was until 15th FEB-09 using VOIP service provided by at www.joip.com (Globarange). But suddenly on the said day the voice portocol to the service as blocked. My VOIP service provider in response to my complaint gave me a written reply that there was blockage by my telecom service. I have since lodged several compliants with the Airtel Broadband Services, and they have deliberately pretended not have understood the problem. I evenprovided my username and password of the VOIP service to their local technical head but his attitude is also appaling and behaviou inimical towards the customers. I have forwarded the email of my VOIP service provider to Airtel but they have not responded. The Airtel is so callous that despite my repeated requests to terminate the connection they are not doing so. Should I go to Consumers Court to get restoration of blocked voice protocol service and for getting Airtel penalised for customer harrasment.

                                sir my telephone no is 25097610 .i am using broadband internet and voip . but from last 2 months its not working everytime i complaining and it starts working .but after few mnts again its blinking i complaint 100 times but all in vain.

                                You are right. When you ask them why they have blocked the voip, they tell you that its a TRAI guideline.
                                Don't waste your energy with . Airtel is crap. Just switch to other provider.

                                  my mobile no is 71410736 at delhi. i got sms on 10 apr 09 for lifetime validity and rs 100 talktime for recharge of rs 111 from message centre [protected]at 1525 h till 15 apr. i recharged at 756 pm . the recharge from message centre [protected] has not given lifetime validity. this needs to be sorted out and life validity given to me.

This is simply loot, they have millions of customer and looting they are making money from middle class, Why they didn't come to us and make paper work, signature and then they start deducting money??? this has to be the system. How without any prior permission from customer they are forcing their services on customer only for sec of making money...no body can justify this...

                                    Without their top managers or management consultation, this could not be happen. Management is straight away involved in this such loot and this is not acceptable.

                                    What is TRAI doing after so many complaint????? They seems to be not interested or they want to allow such loot!!!

                                      I had a tech problem from 3th of April 2009 regarding the technical problems faced by my Airtel Digital Tv. I called the call centre on 4th to log in my complaint, which they did and till date are just calling me up and promising me that my problem would be resolved. Today I called up Airtel again ( and I have been calling them up on regular basis) and now they have given me a fresh date by which the problem would be resolved; and the date is 15th April 2009 (luckily not 2010)
                                      I wish to discontinue the Airtel service nad get a refund on my installa tion and recahrge that I have paid. Can you help me???

                                      Airtel DTH — SERVICE DEFICIENCY

                                      This is to inform all that I had been facing problems of not receiving HD channels. Though I have paid for 2 HD STB’s, it is a pity that no HD transmissions are available to me.

                                      I have lodged complaints with Airtel DTH customer service and theyalways change the status of Service Request No’s to "resolved" without solving the problems. Given below are the service request numbers and its status –

                                      After the request number is registered sometimes one service engineer calls and tell us that he is going to visit the site but he never visits. Sometimes he visits without any equipments to do the work and promises to return to do the work and ever comes back.

                                      Engineers who visited the site tell us that the dish has to be repositioned but they do not carry necessary equipments to do their work.

                                      After few days of registering every complaint customer service executive calls and asks us if the problem is resolved. When we say it is not yet resolved he/she just close the service request and opens a new one. This way they show they have ‘done’ their work without doing it actually.

                                      After getting fed up of the non co-operation from the local dealer , I finally contacted a executive from AIRTEL DTH office in Pune and asked him to look into the matter. He too promised me of immediate action. This too has not happened so far.

                                      I have sent so many emails to their customer care that is just ignored by them.

                                      If you are thinking of any sort of service from the DTH service provider please do not go for AIRTEL DTH.

                                      They have outsourced all their work and you can not expect any service from them.

                                      The only remedy that my advocate has suggested is to go to CONSUMER COURT and force AIRTEL for compensation.
