i m using ur airtel connetion from last 2 year. 5 days ago i have got sms regarding recharge rs 51 other wise ur no will be disconnect.than i called to c.care there i have got this msg nooooooo ur no: is totally safe u have a no need for recharging from Mr om n also rahul these r c.care agent . today i have got a call from mohali ur services will be deactivated at 12pm.
I am an unsatisifed airtel customer. The word unsatisified is very big in front of the service you people are giving in state of karnataka.
I bought prepaid connection with validity of 2 years keeping in mind my old memories of airtel when I was using in state of Punjab and north India but its really bad.
Signal quality is very bad, I thought it might be problem in my area. I keep on going but today it limit when one of your manager said public shceme availible on all karyana stores in karnatka is not applicable to your number because you are not in the package... What do you mean by package..I am not aware of anything that I bought any package.

I bought number like other people...Secondly I am struggling from last seven days with airtel customer care people by giving them complaint that I am not able to recharge my mobile with 34 RS STD Pack. ie...34 RS Pack. They said they will resolve the complaint in 24 hrs. But nothing happened. I again remind them and for courtsey sake they given me a complaint number i.e [protected].

On another day I receive a call from Airtel that your complaint has been resolved and I receive SMS of the same.

I try again today i.e. 28 May 2009, but the status remain same. I again call customer care and he gives me an answer " Sir Please try to get it recharged from another dealer", then I want to ask what the purpose of your these karyana store bull , just close them.

Then I aks him to contact me to manager Mr Hemant, he straight away told me that Scheme is there but not applicable on your number, Am I doing [censored] from last seven days with your custome care people. Why are they there if they dont know which number which package will work. They keep on saying we will get resolved and resolved. Just fire them and gives your managers their seats.

What the use of distributing the scheme to shopkeeprs, that this new scheme if they dont know whom to give that scheme or whom not. Stop fooling the people and customers. Is this way the Airtel is going to best in India. ?????????

Airetel people tell this is scheme and thats is scheme when its not applicable to any just dont be there or write there it will be applicable to some number TRY ON YOUR OWN RISK..

I am geting out your Airtel now. Form you BSNL is muh better atleast what they say they mean it not like you distributing everywhere and nobody take care.

    DEAR SIR/MADAM

    I AM USING AIRTEL POSTPAID SINCE 2004 AND YESTERDAY LATE NIGHT MY SERVICES GOT DISCONNECTED LIKE CLIP & MOBILE OFFICE. AND I HAVE ALSO SPEAK TO CUSTOMER CARE BUT THEY HAV NOT RECTIFY MY PROBLEM. SOME OF THEM SAYING IT WILL BE DONE BY 7 P.M AND SOME OF THEM IT BE DONE WITHIN 48 HRS.

    KINDLY SEE THIS MATTER AS I AM LOOSING MY BUSINESS AND ALREADY LOOSED BUSINESS BY NOT CONNECTING TO INTERNET AND NOT GETTING CLIP.

    There is a code to activate clip by sms. I don't remeber but you can ask them. Do not hesitate to go to Airtel website and find important emails and raise your issues. Puke out your anger on Support Reps completely.

      I’m using a Airtel Postpaid connection, I have no idea why Airtel charges Rs. 99 per month for activating Conference calls. As conference calls are mobile handset specific, if I dial five customers and add all the five members in conference, then I’m going to pay the call charges to Airtel for the call duration of individual calls made from my account. The service provider has no part in activating the conference calls or something like that. Also I have used this Conference facilities free of charges in all other service providers such as Vodafone, Aircel etc. Even Airtel provides that free with it pre-paid connections. I don’t think these charges are applicable and approved from TRAI. Please look into this issue.

      Dear Sir,
      This is not an individual issue, to answer the same to an individual. Even this facility you are providing at free of cost in prepaid mobiles, then why you are charging for postpaid customers.

      I'm using a Airtel Postpaid connection, I am unable to do conference call & all other service providers allow conference call.
      If I dial 3 numbers and add all the 3 members in conference, then I'm going to pay the call charges to Airtel for the call duration of individual calls made from my number then why Airtel does not allow???

        I was using mobile office for 99 rs GPRS pack in which initial 50MB is free than the charges was 20paisa per 50KB. But i was charged 441.60 rs(For the period of 27feb to 25 MARCH) for the same but i have used only 26 MB.
        Then i went to Customer care office and told them same then they said that was charged wrong due to some system fault your account is not updated for mobile office so you had been charged as per AIRTEL INTERNET (30 Paisa per 20 KB).
        So i got a call from airtel customer support and he said that his system is right and they will not refund any money for the same.
        In between i mailed to airtel customer care many time but no meaning.
        They always said that there system is right but there customer care office executive always said that was a system fault because they manually inspected my mobile setting for GPRS uses and found i was using Mobile office on my no.
        And i am going to attached the copy of conversation between me and airtel customer care.

        Then in next month i was charged again as 30paisa per 20 KB. so i want to know that for how much time they will cherged me wrongly.

        Airtel — Wrong billing. Charged for downloading content.

        Since October 2007, every month i have been charged an amount in excess of 100 Rs for downloading content from Airtel Live Portal. I do not use Airtel Live and other internet based services through my handset at all and yet i am being charged.

        On going through the itemised bills of [protected] i find that on almost all occasions downloads took place at same time and very early in the morning. I suspect some one from Airtel is playing mischief through my connection.

        Its been 6 months and numerous complaints to 121, visits to Airtel ARC's and a mail to the Nodal Officer, i have not got any satisfactory response from the concerned yet. In fact, the nodal officer has not replied or responded in any way. Is this the service that Airtel offers to its Customers?

        AIRTEL SERVICES ARE SIMPLY PATHETIC.. AND AIRTEL EXECUTIVES ARE ABSOLUTELY USELESS..

        AirTel — Charging wrong charges in Bill

        I have taken Post paid mobile connection with Airtel before 7 months 299 monthly Postpaid scheme and deposits of Rs.500/ to Bharti Airtel.

        First five months, my bill has come upto 400 to 500/-
        Maximum is 525/- at one time. But suddenly next month my bill has come 1225/- I have not such use. I have very limited local use.

        But Airtel has charge me for other charges than call charges which I have not done. But negligence and mistake of Airtel system, they people debited wrong bill in my account. As per my belief, my bill was not come beyond Rs.500/- My deposits with Airtel is Rs.500/- So they can compensate my latest geneuine bill from this deposits also. So I don't have to give him anything now.

        But they harrash me for paying Wrong bill which I have not done. firt phone me on my resident many times. Now they send Legal Notice to me twice. They reqd their SIM Card back which I have return back to it Kandivali office. But they refuse to take it. I have thrown itin their dropbox with letter which they refuse to take.

        Please give me justice and close this harrashment.

        Bharti Airtel — Wrong download charges

        Respected Sir, My Mother has been Charged Wrongly by Bharti Airtel for a Java Game download which is not in mobile and which the mobile does not support.she has been charged to a tune of rs30 for the java game.

        WHEN I STOPPED THE SERVICE MY TYPING MOD TO 52818 THE GPRS SERVICE AUTOMATICALLY MIGRATED TO 30 paise AND FOR APPROX I WAS CHARGED DAILY FOR APPROX Rs 1.20 A DAY FOR REGULAR 35 DAYS NOBODY FROM YOUR CUSTOMER CARE (EXCEPT SOME SUNEET) GAVE ME THE RIGHT ANSWER.
        I WANT THE RIGHT ACTION TO BE TAKEN.

        I am hardeepsingh residing at Sanjay colony sugar mill panipat using your services since 5 years when my brother gifted me a cell phone with your services. I was fully satisfied with you. I am living right now out of haryana but still i m using your services because i will be at haryana in next month. So i dont want to release you. The problem was that my mobile bill in the month of july, 2009 was due by the date of 14 july 2009. I pay the bill befor the due date may be on 8 july2009. The attendent did't give me the receipt for the paid amount Rs.300/-. He told me that my server is not working and message will be delivered to you. But i did't got the msg and next month he added the amount to my next month bill. I went there in the office at Pink city Panipat but they told me that today concerning person is not here you may come next day. Like this they react 3 times. I talked to customer care they told me ok we will adjust the amount. But no response is there and ultamately they bained my outgoing call. I have advanced rental plan and want to continue your services but i m unsatisfied with your services since 2 months kindly adjust my bill so that i can continue my airtel services but sir two times i will not pay and give stick instruction to official at pink city Panipat..

        The same thing happened with my son.Firstly they they sent him a bogus bill of 3200/-, but when my son resisted and declined to pay, they settled it at 1000/- that too 150 or 200/- Rs. more than the actual bill.

        airtel is one of the leading pathetic service providers of the country. they hire illiterate people and collection agencies who don't even have the basic manners of communication. they lure you with tempting plans followed by highly inflated bills. their customer care executives don't pay any heed to complaints. you are left with no other option but to pay the bills and owe not to use any of its services in future. beware of such companies my friends!

        My name is Ankit and i paid my airtel bill for Rs.1500 at 'SKYWEB ENTERPRISES'
        for the no. [protected] located at nirankari colony, north campus. As per the person who took the paymet from me entered the incorrect number as my no. is ([protected]) and the amount was ledgered on a different no. which is ([protected]) which is an invalid no. Also i received dozens of calls from 'Airtel' regarding my postpaid bill, i informed them reggarding the same and also spoke to a lady in Airtel Customer Care' Named ( Pooja Parmar) Reporting to ( Nishtha Saxena) her manager, and the same lady informed me that nothing can be done, i asked her to make her floor supervisor or manager talk to me, as usual she denied.

        After building the bridges of requests she arranged a callback for me from her supervisor.

        And i also spoke to the person who took the payment and he simply replied that he can only check that what can be done, and he ll let me know by the evening, which was quite usual as i was getting the same answer every day.

        And today i, e 24/12/09 i received a call from an Airtel ofice from mumbai stating that if i do not pay the bill by today or tommorow they will barr my calls, which will incurr me a big financial loss.

        Kindly go through with the complaint and i am eagerly waiting for your reply.

        Amount of Rs.85/- charged against Airtel PC Secure {(AV) for the period 21 Dec. to
        25 Dec.} that HAS NOT BEEN INSTALLED AS YET.
        Refund requested / adjust against subsequent billing, thro credit instrument
        i am not convinced with charges which is charged in december bill. free calls details not available. so, pls send me the details of total calls (-) free calls= charged calls.

        Hi

        It seems you may have chosen the wrong plan for your phone and usage pattern

        The Rs.10/- per day plan is great if you have a high end mobile and access the internet often directly instead of through a wap conversion tool like google.

        If you have a low end phone you should access the internet through google. Google will compress large html files into tiny wml files and display them on your phone. Naturally your usage becomes very small but with limited features of the original site. For such use you should go for the Rs.0.30/50KB plan

I was easily accessing internet, but from 25th jan to till now my main AC balance is being deducted for each time i use mobile office. My mobile is O K.         I paid my airtel post paid bill through SBH debit card airtel employee scratch my card twice my Acount debited twice 736/- I met SBH panjagutta office they suggested to take one letter from airtel office but aittel employee not respond properly but after looking SBH letter they gave us one duplicate letter but thiis is not valid in SBH pls rectify my problem and send those letters from SBH and airtel office to [protected]@airtelindia.com my mobile no is[protected]

        even same thing happened to me..
        i got unlimited gprs plan from airtel.. which entitles me to unlimited browsing and download of content...
        still i was being charged 1000 rs a month extra on my airtel mobile no [protected].
        when i asked them, theuy said that i have been using airtel live, which i never use.
        also, even if i were, its part of gprs, and no one from airtel had ever intimated me what service to use/ not to use.

        Bharti Airtel — Wrong Charge on Credit Card.

        I have credit card of Citibank ending with number 8018. On 30th May a charge of Rs. 200 has been made against this card by Bharti Airtel. I am not able to find against which connection this has been charged as I have no such telephone connection. Citi bank has only provided me reference no.[protected] which does not help.

          Sir,
          I had a prepaid connection in Manipal, Karnataka. Now that i have moved to Shahjahanpur, Uttar Pradesh i wanted to relocate the Prepaid number to the same state.

          I have requested the local Airtel center, but they did not help in any manner. If its possible to relocate my number from Karnataka to UP, then please guide me through the procedure.

            Respected Sir,

            At first there were a few people who came to my Home. They gave me wrong information about a plan, which i came to know after I used that service for months.
            After coming to know about that fraud, I decided to discontinue with the service. I even submitted the letter to Airtel, this was before six months. At that time I got a call from Airtel that guy gave me a new plan which was Zero Rental + Airtel GPRS (mobile office), which was useful for me due to Internet connection available.

            But that guy never told me that this Zero Rental Plan was just for 6 months. That might be coz he wanted to reach the Target given to him by the Company.

            And now after Six months I m getting my bill, double of what i used to get, and when i called the Coustmer Care they told me that they have changed the Plan, and this was without any prior notice. Normally they keep on sending SMSs for thier caller tune plan, or any other waste plans, But the Poor Company cant AFFORD to inform about the change through SMS.
            And this fraud company didn't even Deliver the Hard Copy of my Bill through Courier which normally I used to get on Time. I always paid my bills before Due-Date period, and if this is the way the Company treats the loyal customers then its really their loss.
            And I can't afford to use their new plan, so I kindly request the concerned Authorities to look after this matter and do whatever is possible and Required.
            I wont be paying the bill coz its more then what I usually pay, and I please request the Company to solve the Matter peacefully



            And I am even ready to use the service IF I am getting the same Plan which I was using for the Last Six Months. Or else I request u to kindly Stop the service..

            AirTel — Plan changed without my notice

            Hello Sir,

            I am an airtel customer (mobile no:[protected]). Earlier I recharged with Rs. 498/- because of which I got one year validity (till June 28th, 2009) and a talk time of Rs. 300/- . I am staying in Bangalore and I came from Andhra Pradesh. Since I came from AP most of my calls are of STD and I used to recharge with Rs. 34/- with which I could make calls just for Re 1/- to Andhra pradesh.

            Since the talk time I got is very limited, I was recharging with Rs. 150/- with which I was getting full talk time. On one day they changed the plan for full talk time and I had to recharge with Rs. 250/- and I got the full talk time. But, suddenly on one day I got a message from airtel saying that Rs. 150/- is back and the same message contains an information that this offer is valid only for three days.

            After few days, as there isn't enough balance on my card, I thought of recharging. Since Rs. 150/- is only for three days I thought that the plan is no more and hence I thought that I need to recharge with Rs. 250/- (which I was doing earlier also) and did the same thing. But, to my surprise I got only Rs. 50/- talk time with one year validity from my date of recharge(till 24th August, 2009). I immediately called Airtel Customer Care and reported them my issue and the customer care officer was very excited to say that they have launched a new plan for Rs. 250/- (college plan) with which I will get 50/- talk time and a validity of one year.

            To my shock, he revealed that now I cannot recharge with Rs. 34/- and I can make calls only at Rs. 1.50/- . He also said that no topups for making calls for 1 rupee are not at all possible with this rate plan. I can't even recharge with Rs. 498/- to go back to the previous plan. I requested him if there could be any possibility that I can go back to my previous plan. I also said that I am ready to loose the balance, which I got from Rs. 250/- and said that I am ready to recharge with Rs. 498/- again. He contacted some one else and said that he made a complaint to change this plan and also said that it would be resolved in 48 hours. It was never resolved. When I called them, they said that it won't be possible to change the plan. But, whenever I called the customer care, they were repetitively taking the request and they were saying very positively that they can change this plan. Finally, they ended up in saying that it's not possible to change.

            Though taking a new number won't be a big deal for me, my concern is that i will loose all my contacts. But, if I continue in the same offer I will have suffer for the whole year and I don't even have any option to recharge with any other denomination(even after ready to loose all the validity and 750/- of recharge). I will continue to be spending huge amount of money whenever I call anyone.

            Airtel Hyderabad — Change of plan without my notice

            I have been in CUG 99 plan since May 2009. On July 21st - due to updation, my plan has been changed to CUG 199 for which I will be billed.

            I have spoken to customer care executives, but all in vain no one has the solution.

              I was using mobile No.[protected] of Airtel for the last about six years. I happened to visit abroad in the monthof February and for international roaming I was required to deposit Rs.5500/- as security. Despite my repeated request last time when Mr. Jyioti Ghosh was contancted on 121, he even shown his helpless ness. I have surrendered the above connection now, but still the air tel people have not paid me the security deposit. Please make the payment with interest immediately.

                    I want to bring to your notice that my Sim card got lost and for an urgent need i managed to get one from Sec 32 - Airtel Office, Chandigarh.I was about to give my interview on phone and expecting call from America on a date that was Saturday .I was told that ask interview guys to call on Monday post lunch.I did that but my Sim card was not activated till Tuesday due to which i lost that opportunity, all because of Sec32- Airtel Office team.I visited their again and again.All i got is fake consolation and statements.And they even not treated me well.They treated me so harshly.I was harassed as i lost my opportunity and even then they are not doing any step to correct this, Now this is 3rd week of same and i am facing problem.My problem has not been resolved.I can't change my no.also.I really want you to take some serious action against these ladies team members of Airtel Office Sec32, Chandigarh.I remember one name i.e Sonya.I hope my problem will be solved by this case as all i got is frustration and harassment from these guys and not the solution.Awaiting your revert.

                        There is a problem occuring in my number.Automatic javagame downlaoding(http://gofun.in and wap.mobifun.in) without using it. A message come into inbox and the balance is deducted.
                        message come from the no.6461101/64611007/64611030/6461103/64611005/64611015[different no.s]
                        anda the message is like this:"Thanks for using value pack or downloading JavaGames from Airtel Live WAP Service. You've been charged Rs. 50/Rs.30/Rs.15/Rs.10./Rs2/Rs1. etc."

                        First time my balance was Rs.72. it was deducted by 5 messages.Rs.50 than Rs 15. Rs 5 than Re.1 and Re.1
                        After that i filed coplained to the Airtel Customer Care. They registered my complain and assured me that the service will be deactived and ur balance will noit be deducted again.
                        After that i recharged my no. with Rs.20. But within 24 hrs again my balance was deducted.

                        Again i talked to so many airtel customer care executives. Everytime they assured that this problem will not happen again. Again i recharged my no. with Rs. 50 and this was also deducted again.But nobody resolved that problem..
                        I am not satisfied ith the customer care executives.
                        I talked to Ms. Monika, Mr.Amit, Mr. Jitender, Mr. Anil Bhtia(Sr.Executive) and on 20th April to Mr. Sunil(complain no. 414007) than on 24thApril Mr. Inderjee, Mr. Naveen(complain no.[protected] than on 25 April talked to Mr.Aman(Sr. Supervisor) and many more i dontr remembered their names.

                        Some time they said ur balance will be returned back. Two times they returned Rs. 15 and Rs. 5o. but after some time this balance automatically deducted again...
                        I want to stop thes unwanted Airtel Live Services which are i am not using.

                          My customer ID is [protected]. I got my connection on 14.02.2009 which was activated on 15.02.2009. Since then I am realising problems with my relation with Airtel Digital TV which are given as under:-
                          1) no account detail is available on my TV.
                          2)my recharge became due on 14.04.2009 but no reminder was recieved by me in this matter.
                          3)I was given free Maxi pack for 2 months. To continue my connection I went to my dealer on 14.04.2009 and requested for economy pack.
                          4)As the account details were not available on TV, I contacted its toll free phone number in the evening of 14.04.2009 when I was advised by some Mr. Shadab that economy pack will be available from 26.04.2009 as per billing cycle and the daily burn rate will be Rs.10.15p which is not correct and it should have been Rs.8.63p/day i.e. average of Rs.259/- pm.I was further advised that if I would had opted for upgradation of my pack it would have been done immediately. The Company's billing policy was never advised to me on or before 14.04.2009 by the dealer or Company's persons propagating for the digitaltv connection. In this connection, I would like to advise that I was given 2 months free Maxi pack with the connection as per Company's policy and not on my choice. Therefore, I should have been given economy pack immediately on my recharge on 14.04.2009 and not from 26.04.2009.
                          5)Also on 14.04.2009 I wanted recharge for one year but I was advised that recharge is available for Rs.500/-Rs.1000/- and so on and no discount is available on recharge for longer period as per Company's(wrong) policy. No recharge is available for a fixed period.
                          6) Today i.e.26.04.2009 all channels went off from my TV where a caption was/is appearing"this channel is not subscribed. Please contact toll free number [protected] or [protected](tolled)". At 10.15am I contacted to this number and I was advised by Mr. Satya Kumar to close the set-top box and TV for 30 minuts and to restart thereafter. But even after 1 hour, no channel was available. Therefore, I have to again contact its toll free number and now I was advised by some Mr. Muffazal to keep open the system on and the channels will appear by 12 noon today. He has givenmy request no. as 667251.But Right Now I am not getting any channels.

                          I have also been facing some other types of problems since 13 May 2009 as set top box of the airtel digital tv has deffects and not receiving any channel. I have contacted several times to the customer care but in vain, as no action has so far been taken. May I humbly request all the people not to subscribe such a negligent company's digital tv.

                          I faced the same complaint, and airtel continued to put me on the old subsciption (expensive one) for days to earn fakely. I sent a mail to their customer support for which I did not receive any complaint.

                          All I can do now is get rid of my Airtel digital tv, broadband and mobile connections. THese people are exploiting customers just because they think they have a monopoly here.

                          Hopefully airtel will realize its mistake soon.

                          I was using dish tv earlier, and it used to stop subscription when payment became 0. Airtel instead keeps on piling negative balance.
                          I was in trouble. I activate cartoon network and pogo but I not know how to deactivate them. If after 1 month those channels would not deactivated, what should I do?

                            Dear Sir/Madam

                            I used international roaming services of Airtel in March when I visited USA for about 3 weeks.

                            For last 2 months, Airtel is sending me exorbitant bills, without any details of time usage or justification.

                            As an example - for 4 usages of 9 seconds, 6 seconds, 20 seconds, 10 seconds (on 16th, 18th and 19th March) they have rounded off the duration to 4 minutes. For this they have charged Rs 1000/-. This works out to Rs 250/- per minute. Based on same logic they have already charged me Rs 20, 000/- last month. For call charges of Rs 6-8 per minute between India and USA ... why have they charged me Rs 250/- per minute ? Also the usage is barely 90 seconds, why are they charging for 4 minutes ?

                            This is total 'manmaani' ... they dont even bother to provide details o[censored]sage. Just keep sending huge bills.

                            Please do investigate this scam being perpetrated by telecom companies on unsuspecting users, where they charge users 100 times the actual charges ?

                              dear sir,

                              we have sbi group post paid connection in the name of bm, dist.collectorate office, ongole phone no.[protected]. Three days ago suddenly disconnected telephone outgoing services to our connection. When i contacted the local airtel postpaid ongole service centre, they told me that they are not responsible for disconnection and they are not providing service to air tel group customers as they are not part of their business. After my repeated requests they told me that telephone bills for our connection pennding for jan & feb 2009 are pending.

                              we have paid all dues on 26/02/2009 Rs 1567.71 by dd no 511482. The dd also realised on 11/03/2009 by airtel company yet they have not credited to our account and still showing as dues and disconnected our services.

                              sir, it is very unfortunate to tell that you dont have service provider in a big centre like ongole (district head quarter of prakasam dist.) for any querries and you are also not caring to the customer. Even when i telephoned [protected] or 121 no one registered the complaint sorted out the problem.

                              Please up date bill by crediting the amount paid on 26/02/09 and restore my services

                                we have a Group SIM i. e. mobile no. [protected] and this connection used by our staff and we have given the Nokia 1100 to our staff. Every month Airtel raised the amount against Internet browsing. everybody know that Internet browsing is imposible with the Nokia 1100. We have contacted all the concern person of airtel but nobody has been given satisfactory answer. They told us that Internet used between 2.00 am to 4.00 am and we know that this is not reconize statement. At last we have not depsot the last bill and they have stop the outgoing our other Mobiles as well as not any amount due against other mobile. Now we are very tired to harresing by airtel and ultimately we deposit the full & final payment and surrendered the SIM

Unfortunately, your product and service has not performed well and your service is inadequate because your technical person did mistake and transfer my account balance to other's account.even your dealer gave me wrong voucher coupons. i did complain regarding all this matter to your customer care but no body gave me good response. from last 15 days i am having problem. I am disappointed because your service is inadequate your techincal person and your dealer as not disclosed clearly and your techincal person and dealer misrepresented every thing.

                                  I look forward to your reply and a resolution to my problem and will wait until 26 April 2009. because i am feed up about all this things and before seeking help from a consumer court and news papers.                                   Chinchwad c.c. inform me that SYSTEM IS DOWN FOR DATA UPDATION UP TO 18th JULY 09. and we can not do any thing up to 18th July 09.

                                  This is a big surprise 8 days without mobile which i is for business use how can one work out.

                                  After all discussion Chinchwad customer service counter (Very very ruff and unprofessional approach) was refuse to support and clearly told even WANT TO STOP SERVICES WE CAN NOT BUT WE WILL CHARGE YOU THE RENTAL.

                                  As on today 21 july 09 mobile is off and now taken a dicision to stop the use of AIR TEL services.

                                  was a problem in set top box.Immediately I phoned my dealer and he suggested me to log a complain
                                  to their customer care. But unfortunately I could not do it. On behalf of me, my lealer made a complian.
                                  Immediately I found a message saying my complain number and the date and time of visit of service engineer. Next day the service engineer contacted me and came to my house. At that time I could not
                                  show the problem. But the problem occurred after few hours. Immediately I phoned the S.E, and he
                                  told me not to worry and he will replace the set top box. Next day he came and replaced the set top
                                  box with propper installation.
                                  I am very satisfied with the prompt service and the behaviour of the S.E.

                                  I think, the dissatisfaction depends from person to person. Customer has to understand the technology
                                  and the problem of S.E.

                                  But i feel that there is no one responcible & working fo solution.

                                  I am using word dearest to you because I think that every time I send a complaint to you and you assure me that it will not repeat again but it happens . Before complaining this time I want to request you that please don’t assure me that you will take care of it, just mail me that you cannot help me out with that so I can at least make myself feel that company work like that only and I have to use AIRTEL DTH service like that only, so in the future if something happen I will not waste my time and money on going to all this process.
                                  Now today is the last date of my three months free subscription, so I went to airtel office at lajpat nagar, Kanpur asked them to recharge my account for rupees 2050 so I can order for economy pack for 10 months, but they said that they don’t have coupon for that .Then the office person called this senior and ask to help, this is the best part senior said i should take coupons from market and recharge my account, to confirm this conversation I also talked to that person whose name is Mr.Olvin his mobile number is [protected], he told me the same words in first conversation with him then I asked the office person to give me contact number of area manager and his name too. Then I called him (Area Manager –Ritesh Gupta, Mobile Number – [protected] ) I told him the full details and waited for his replies but it was too shocking to me that area manager of such a big company could also reply to me like this, best part of the complaint he said that I should go to any dealer and take recharge coupon after this reply I asked him that why airtel office can’t provide me coupon then first he was silent to it, I called him to know the reason but ... After that I told him the case that happened to me last time, that I got a coupon from local dealer and it did not get recharged for a day over this he replied me “penny (100 Rs) doesn’t count and right now my main concern should be to recharge nothing else”, then I said to him that this is not the way of working. I could not believe I am telling a company area manger the way of working and company makes these kind of persons area manager .After this he without saying anything put me on hold and put me on conference to Mr.Olvin and said to him that when they get the coupon they should call me and disconnected the phone.
                                  After all this I immediately called Airtel DTH Customer Care timing was 5.11 pm .Miss Poonam took my call, I told her the details she replied me that they couldn’t take complaints against AREA MANGER I asked her the reason, she replied nothing and asked me to talk to her senior named Mr. Vinod . He also replied that he couldn’t help me in this.
                                  Might be Area Manager of the Airtel had the authority to do, say & work as he WANTS.
                                  Hope that company should at least give professional development course to these kind of Area Managers or please as a dedicated customer of Airtel company I will say to Nodal Officer not to make such promises to customers which can’t be fulfilled .

                                  I have taken airtel digital TV on 7th July 2009 from that day everyday there is a new problem with my connection. At the time of installation the person meltreated, so I launched a complaint against him the complaint number is 826318 after this two person from Kanpur airtel office called Mr.Manjeet when I was talking to him, all of sudden he gave the phone to Mr.Abhishek and left . Mr.Manjeet and Mr.Abhishek seem to be new to this professional world or they don’t know how to talk to a customer. Now the big fish to be caught now is on 10th July 2009 I brought the recharge coupon from a shop near to my place name KINESCOPE SALES of 100 Rs. The coupon Sr No. Is [protected] tried to recharge my account but did not get it out done so I called customer care they told me that this Sr. No. Is not registered in the company account and told me exchange this card from the shopkeeper .When i went to him he called his distributor and told the case to him the reply was shocking to me the distributor told us that the card will be going to register till 10 pm in the company so after that I should recharge my account then it will work .Now few question arises:

                                  •Is the distributor is printing the recharge coupon in his house?

                                  •If the recharge coupon is issued from the company then why it is not in the company’s account?

                                  •Is this the ethics and policy of the company?

                                  •Is this a stealing from customer’s pocket?

                                  •Is the two senior staff of the company behaving like this justified?

                                  I think as a customer of the company I have the right to know the answer to all these questions. For me now it’s not just a question of 100 Rs or stealing from my pocket.
                                  Now it’s the question of ETHICS and POLICY of the company.

                                  Hope that all my issues will be solved ASAP and action will be taken against all of the people involved in all the issues or otherwise I have to knock the door of consumer form.

                                  I have already registered the above complaints but there is no technician who has visited my home for the query.

                                  The staff who attend my phone all give me a new time that a person will visit my home and will solve the query. But nobody visit to solve it nor even a phone has come to ask the query. I have got rid of the product and I want to just disconnect it as no service after sales is provided.

                                  As per the terms and conditions it is prescribed that such type of complaint will be solved within 24 hours but till now 120 hours passed away but there is no resolution of my query. I dont know what to do.

                                  Even the staff of Airtel cant tell me the responsible person to whom I can contact directly who is responsible for the service to be provided nor they know anything in this matter. They only say that they can only forward the complaint at backend and a person will be sent for the purpose.

                                  I had bought an Airtel Digital TV online by paying from online banking account on 18th January 2009, since then i have called up customer care more than 20 times and have been provided with various numbers to get the installation done but on calling those dealers they have clearly denied installation saying that the dth was not purchased through them so they cannot get it installed. On again calling up customer care i have been give various nos. but still i am waiting for installation to happen which was at the time of sale was promissed to be done within 48 hours. But today being 22nd January 2010 i am still waiting for something to be done by them. Customer ID provided to me was [protected]. Having made more than 20 calls some of which have lasted more than 30 mins. I have also mailed my issues more than 10 times to the customer care mail id i.e [protected]@airtel.in, but everytime i have been told sorry for the inconvieniece caused we will resolve your issues within few hours but few days have passed and i am still waiting for the services from their end. I would hereby also like to file for a compensation for the inconvienience caused to me by having to call & follow up the issue and delay caused in installation. Looking forward to Consumer Forum for help in this case.

                                  The signal went off on sunday, filed a ticket and monday somebody called and said he will come.
                                  But refused to come after 5:30 as I was in office. So I came home from office only for fixing DTH tv and he did not turn up and when I called the number I was given another number and finally I had four numbers to call and none worked. Then evening I call customer care the famous response "We understand your concern and we apologize" (total bull no meaning). I get to know that 9-6 is working hours so I asked him to send someone by 9 so that I can go to office at 9:30 but no body turned up. MOST INTERESTING PART IS THIS ARITEL DEDUCTS THE AMOUNT ON DAILY BASIS BUT FOR SERVICE IT TAKES MORE THAN 2 DAYS!!!

                                  The most pathetic service. There is no value for customers time and money.

                                  I have bought a new Airtel DTH connection on 7 July 2010.One day after another there has been some or the other problems. I am myself a doctor at AIIMS,New Delhi.I can not waste my time lodging complaints and waiting for the engineers to attend the probblems.One day there is problem of person not coming on time to attend the complaint and then the remote stops working.This is not the way that I had thought of working of BHARTI TELEMEDIA Limited. I Want to emphasize that I am feeling cheated and Harassed because of the services and the equipment being provided which goes worse within 10 days of buying.I have completely wasted my whole weekend looking into one problem or another. a very very bad experience.

                                  my customer id for airtel dth is [protected].Despite repeated complaints the problem of SIGNAL LOCK is not being resolved .Service engineer came to attend this problem once and he succeeded to get over this problem that time .But just after 15 minutes of he left my residence ,this problem again started.From that time till now I have made complaint three times to the company but no technician turned up to attend .There is no response of my complain from company side also as they are not contacting me on my mobile phone .
                                  I think that someone is responsible for all this and he/she should be taken up under disciplinary action .

                                  My customer number is [protected] . It was installed a week back . Sinde it was installed i have signal problem and very frequently the signal was going off . I have raised complaint for two times and today some Engg. visted our house . I do not know what he did, not there is no signal in the TV . It was working some time but now the TV is dead . he told that you dish position was not good and we have to replace the position . For that we will chagre 300 . I do not know why i will pay again to him where its Airtel Engg. chhose to install the Dish .

                                  I completely agree the Engg. have very bad technical skills ... in fact i should say they are eligilble only for fitting screws and nothing more than that . They also does not know how to behave with customer . When asked why it is not working totally, he arggued and got engry and left the home .

                                  I have been using Airtel DTH set-top box for the past 1-3/4 years. It went quite well for the first 1 year. Immediately after 1 year, the problems started with the STB. They have replaced the set thrice in the last 4 -5 months and the problem keeps recurring. Every time I complain with the cust care, they send the engineers and replace the existing STB with the old one and charge anywhere between 450-600 each time for no fault of mine. They give a guarantee for 6 months for their replaced old STB, but nowadays within weeks the problem is recurring and the service center people are asking for replacement charge of 450-600 and sometimes demand for more than that, and otherwise would threaten not to visit for repair. Although I never asked for replacement, they normally replace the STB and do not repair on site so that they can charge more from the customer every time. I have also written multiple mails to the Nodal office about this and made several calls and they have not responded to any of my mails so far and even when I call them, they just try to wash their hands by putting the blame on the service centers and sometimes make me wait for 10-15 minutes on call and then hang up the phone. Now, I have sent mails for disconnection and neither do they respond for the complaint nor do they disconnect and give me the refund. All that I want now is JUST DISCONNECTION from Airtel DTH, as I do not want to undergo any such pain in future wasting my time, money, and energy complaining for faulty service. ALSO, I WANT TO KNOW WHAT IS THE GUARANTEE AIRTEL GIVES FOR THE REPLACED STB AND WHAT ARE THE CHARGES THEY LEVY ON THE CUSTOMERS FOR REPAIR AND IF THEY CANNOT DO EVEN MINOR REPAIR FOR REPLACEMENT WHAT IS THE COST.

                                  AIRTEL DIGITAL TV — No service and response against several complaints

                                  Hello Sir/Madam,

                                  I have been facing a no signal for my Airtel digital tv connection from Bharti Airtel since 5 days. I have called the customer care reporting the same several time and have also registered complaints. Even after that I have called the customer care several time asking the status as to why the issue has not been resolved yet, but I have always been getting conflicting informations. Some time they say some engineer visited and sometimes they say the engineer did not get the time to visit. At one occasion my complaint got closed because some engineer without resolving the issue reported some false information and then I had to open another complaint.
                                  The customer support has been playing tricks like closing the initial complaint with false reports just to ensure that the complaint does not cross the service level agreement. This I think is a misrepresentation and needs some serious investigation.

                                  I hope this matter will be looked into seriously.

                                  i had a airtel digital tv connetion .last April 4 my airteldth displayed no signal.i tried to the useless customercare number 12150 on my reg.mobile .they gave a complaint request no.6941389 on 14 Ap.2011 and 6824870 on 11 Ap.2011 and6668407 on Ap.2011 .but in this time they not retify my dth problem.

I made many number of calls to customer call and their mechnic visited twice and replaced HDMI cable. but of no use. they could not find what the fault .Now I want the set top box be replaced as early as possible as i am unable to view any channels at a stretch as it is very glaring and overlapping. I am very much disappointed with the sercvice airtel dth providing and they are not having technicians who could locate the problems as they are all at sea when problem arises. I wish i will not recommend anyone going in for Airtel DTH for worst service

                                  My Airtel dth id is [protected]. Recently my dth showed some installation error. When I called up the local technician of your organization, I have been informed that this is due to change in satellite and the direction of the dish has to be changed and I HAVE TO PAY RS. 150/- FOR IT. I could not understand why should I pay for a change which your organization made. And I was not a party to the decision of changing staellite. Even then I paid and the technician changed the direction. But after few hours of the change, I have been facing problems in the dth. Some channels like Cartoon Network, of which I am a subscriber, shows setting error. Channels like Set Max goes off for few minutes showing setting error and then comes again. When it comes the picture is not good. It is like what happens during rain. And the worst part is your local technician has refused to visit my place saying that he has lots of office work for the last ten days.

                                  My complaint is against your local technician. Tell me if there is any provision of disconnecting Airtel dth service and getting my money back for the rest of the subscription period.

                                  Airtel — Irresponsible behavior of Service Professionals

                                  Hello Mr. Mittal,

                                  I would like to bring to your notice the irresponsible behavior of your professionals because of which we are facing problems.
                                  I am customer of Airtel broadband service, I want to transfer my connection to my wife's name.

                                  As suggested by call center we went to your customer service center and provided all the required document.

                                  After submitting the document , we did not get any intimation from Airtel.

                                  Since then we have been calling your call center every 2 days to know the status, each time call center gives some excuse or the other.

                                  They are not in a position to tell the exact reason for which the transfer is not happening.

                                  I asked your people to call me up but they do not bother to give a call back.

                                  I wish that there was some interface where we can got our request resolved in reasonable time, without much trouble to the customer.

                                  i have faced a vedio problem on last week[protected].I made a complain through c.care of airtel digital tv.problem resolved by airtel engineer but another problem persist, i.e. vedio comes after 4 to 5 seconds when to change channels. airtel engineer just threatning us when we told them regarding the problem.and told us if again will they come that will be chargeable,where as it is under warranty. and he was misbehaving with my home member.

                                      but recently i found that in the current bill i have been charged the late payment charges of Rs 100 and i asked for the bill from the day i am using this no. as this means that i havent received any bill and when i get the call i normally make the payment and that means that with no fault of mine i have been paying the LPC with the bill, which is rediculous and whenever i call the cust services . . .after listening to my issue. . they inform me that the systems are doun and call after 24 hours. ..thatmeans whenever we call with the complicated issues . .ur representatives are not capable enough to help the customers and when u ask for the manager. .they hung up on you.
                                      So will request you to check all my bills and give me the waiver of all the LPC on the bills as if i will not get the satisfactory response. . i will write the mail to Mr. Mittal and i will go to the consumer court
