[Resolved]  Airtel Digital TV — HELL CUSTOMER CARE

I have purchased Airtel Digital TV on 28th of August 2011 and my customer id is [protected] .
But i realized the big mistake i made by choosing such a irresponsible company as DTH service provider.
I have following concerns:
1. Some time some channels shows the Connection lost screen (Error Code B0001).
2. In rain as well in drizzling it does not respond and hangs.
3. Whenever I called customer care they give me same stupid solutions :

* Restart your set top box.
* Unplug your cable and reconnect.
* Remove any obstacle in front of Dish.


Really a very bad DTH service provider.I suggest never buy Airtel Digital TV.

Airtel Digital TV — Cheated by Airtel Executive by false committment of 15% cashback,but no cashback even complaining many times at Customer care

I have got call from Airtel DTH on 18th Nov 2009 and was told that if I will book airtel DTH through IVR and pay by credit card,it will treated as ONLINE and I will get 15% cashback in my digital TV acount.So I have paid Rs1750 through IVR on my mobile as advised by Airtel Executive.But after one month when I have not got 15% cash back,I contacted at customer care centre and I was told to send Transaction ID,I sent Trans.ID,later I was told to send scan copy of my Bank (credit card) statement,I have sent scan copy through Mail,and I was told that I will get 15% cashback within 48 Hrs,but when I have not got 15% cashback even after one week,and contacted at customer care I was told that I am not eligible for cashback as I have paid through IVR.Question is that,why airtel Executive false committed me to attract me to take DTH and later cheated.Even now at customer care nobody is ready to take my complaint and refusing everytimes.This is very shameful for so big reputed Airtel company .After paying large amount nobody can change DTH services as again he has to pay large amount for installation and Set top Box.So company take advantage by cheating and harrasing customers.My cus.ID:[protected],Installation date:19th Nov 2009.
I totally agree with you. Airtel sales people make all kinds of commitments while selling but then after the sale is made, they just disappear. Since all these are verbal commitments, there is no way we can follow them for action.
So much for trusting the premier company Airtel.

AIRTEL DIGITAL TV — No installation / No refund the amount / worst Customer Care

I am air tel postpaid Mobile customer. Since 14th March 2007 I am using Air tel mobile connection. Due to well and satisfied service provided to me by Airtel mobile, I purchased Airtel digital TV through 12150 on 29th December 2009. My online translation ID was 6583721, meantime I don’t have customer ID for this purchase (they didn’t given me the customer ID) and I paid amount through HSBC credit card. Airtel representative offered Rs. 999/- scheme because of Airtel post paid user and he assured with 24 hours our back entry team will call you. After 24 hours I called 12150 they replied back entry team will call you shortly.



Then I waited two day and I purchased in Air tel Digital TV in retail shop on 01st January 2010 My customer ID is [protected]. On 4th January 2010 Airtel back entry team called me for installation of first purchased Airtel digital TV. I informed, I already have airtel DTH. So please pay back my amount Rs. 999/-. They assured me with 48 hours your amount will be credit in your credit card. Nearly 6 to 8 times I called 12150 customer care. Just they collecting my detail and informing me within 24 hours our back entry team call you. Still now no one called me.


As per airtel digital TV website they mentioned any complaint quote to nodal officer must have ticket no. But I asked so many times to customer care representative for ticket No. to quote here. But they refused to give, because they have taken my complaints only as a request not like complaints.

Meantime i send mail to dthnodal.[protected]@airtel.in. i got Undeliverable of mail.

Nearly 40 days over still I didn’t have my refunded amount.

Please anybody provide me detail hoe to get my amount.

Same Problem I am facing they did the payment and told me that within 15 min you will recieve a mail with ref number after that you have to call customer care about installation timimgs and plan.

But its more 24 hours i haveb't received any mails from airtel.

Airtel Digital TV — Complaint against offer with Tripadvisor.com

I am airtel digital tv cutomer. just nearly 2 months ago, i recieved a message from airtel digital tv (ADTV) sub: great offer. acc to this i have to write 3 Hotel reviews on website www.tripadvisor.in and when these reviews get published on that site then must be credited with 250 rs.
I wrote three reviews even 4 reviews and all 4 reviews r published but i am not yet credited with 250 Rs. I sent an e-mail to ADTV nodal officer but he said that the number i had not given my registered number at the time of writing the reviews, but i have write my registered mobile number there...but they r not crediting my account with 250 rs...
plz do something in this matter.

Airtel DTH — NOT LOOKING ON COMPLAIN AFTER SELLING DTH

I brought Airtel DTH on 26/2/2010. Since Installation I face too many problems in my service like
There are almost channels not comming music, News, kids, information and so many channels not comes.(error code B001 shows in not shown channels)
Channels who are shown having provlem of audio-vidio goes frequenly after some times for few seconds.

I have done lots of call to dealer, distributers, customer care
Lots of complain done NOs are 2141440, 2143689, 2135688, 2117248, 2114110, 2161575, 2147922 But no any single problem solved.

I lost my mobile balance upto 70 Rs. for calling dealears, distributers but No body come and solve my problme only they says your problem solve tommorow but when that tommorow comes I don't know.

It's not the problem with just Airtel DTH, But all DTH providers do the same. They have tons of hidden charges and You end up paying twice the amount of what what you pay for local cable. But I guess if you directly contact the Airtel DTH customer care then they would surely respond. The local dealers who sold you the DTH will be least bothered once they've sold you their product.

sir, i want to say that i bought airteldigital tv 6 months ago ,after free subscription when i recharge it it doesno't works and my services is debarred i face too much problem ,signal is not present i tried several times but didno't suceeded in starting it again so please help me as soon as possible. yes it really sucks...i have been trying to reach customer care number since two days, i got never connected.i wanted a add on pack, i have sufficeint balance in my account.but the unfortune thing is that i am not able to do this coz of stupid and waste customer service.
It shows how cheap service Big tv have.

they just sell the product and forget the service .


i would suggest ..plz plz ..dont buy or suggest anyone to buy big tv...its damn bad service and a black mail .

I want to hereby inform about the poor services of AIRTEL DIGITAL TV. I have booked a airtel digital TV through credit card and at the time of booking their service executive informed me that within 24 hrs our servece engineer will reach to your house and will provide you the connection.
Now more than 120 hrs has completed and nobody has even turned to provide the connection. After interaction with about more than 30 executives and customer care persons (what terminology they are using) i come to understand that these are not the customer care executives but they are the bunch of Jokers who are appointed to misguide and irritate the consumers.
They have suggested me to send the complaint on [protected]@airtel.net but i am afraid that whether they have appointed any employee to read the complaint and every time you are getting same automated reply wchih is very irritating.
If I have to provide the marks than i will provide -1, 00, 00000 out of 100.
Now you can imagine the defination of airtel digital TV.

SO IF YOU WANT TO GO FOR A TV CONNECTION GO FOR ANYONE BUT

Airtel DTH — Warning - Do not buy Airtel DTH

Hi I am Nageshwar residing Jasola Vihar Sec 8 in Delhi, mobile no. [protected]. I enquired with Airtel DTH helpline on 14th March about the DTH services. They told me about a package of Rs.1750/- with which South Super Value 5 Month Bundle is free along with activation and a free top up of one south package.
On the promise that the DTH will be installed on 15th March I purchased the DTH using my credit card in the IVR. But to my surprise Airtel didnt provide me with any details till 16th of March (Tuesday), when finally I blasted at them to get the customer id [protected].
I was promised that the activation will happen by evening on 16th, but again I had to follow up with them once in two hours to get the dish installed on 17th March, Wednesday at 2:30 pm. After the installation there was only a screen that showing Error 6 and no channels were coming. The engineer said the channels will start coming after one hour of time. But till 5 pm there was nothing and I called up the helpline again.
The executive made some technical changes (claimed so) and requested me to wait for another one hour. Again nothing happened. When I called up around 7 pm, the executive told that it is the dealer's fault and requested me to call the dealer. But who is the dealer? as I purchased it through airtel helpline in the IVR. He then requested me to call the engineer who set it up as he claimed it to be the engineers fault. When I contacted the engineer he said it is the back end's fault. Again I called the helpline and shouted at them and one Mr. Asish (Supervisor) told me that there is a techinical problem that Airtel is facing and the problem will be rectified within 24hrs. I slammed the phone down.
I then rceived an SMS at 11:30 pm stating the the account has been recharged for Rs.1750/- and I thought the problem will be solved. But till now (18-Mar-10 10:10 am), I am not getting any of the channels. When I called up the helpline twice in the morning again the same stories are being repeated and they has said the engineer will come and solve the problem maximum by 5:10 on 18-March-2010. But I know it will not happen. Airtel is a day light robber who has cheated me.
I should also mention that I sent two e-mails for which I have received only an automatic reply.
Their customer service is worst and not fit to be in the industry.
My sincere adcise for the people who see this website is, instead of going for a Airtel connection, you better throw your money into a well. Both are same. A big shame to Bharti Telecom.
