Airtel customer service became worst now a days. Beware of it !!
They are charging Rs. 600 for any repair. This amount usually charged by the dealers OR, the franchise people of Airtel. When you call 12150, i.e their customer care number from your registered mobile number, they say they should not charge Rs. 600, and the actual charge is Rs. 200 to Rs. 250 only. This is really confusing for customers and the Rs. 600 is too much, bcoz now a days we can get new subscription for Rs. 999 with few months subscription FREE.
This is really a WORST service from airtel...
Airtel Digital TV — fraud by airtel digital tv to customer id-3001771458(airtel digital tv)
respectfully I bag to say that i am costumer of airtel digital TV and costumer id is [protected]. Airtel digital TV fraud with me at 24/06/2010 by following reason-I call customer care officer before recharging my DTH to knowing the letest offer on my connection then costumer care officer told me about 20% cash back above inr. 200 recharge after 48 hours. I believe costumer care officer statement(Recording our conversation proof this statement)Then I recharge my connection by inr. 900.But company did not give any cash back.
I already submitted two complaint & two mail about my problem to [protected]@airtel.in But there is no reply solution by company.
I have mentally stress by this fraud & stop my DTH service till further clearification and same has been stopped as well. Fraud is Fraud
So please help me for cash back regarding problem.

Airtel Digital TV — Money not refunded back
I had ordered a Airtel DTH for 2 connections in Borivali West, Shimpoli area through Online and paid Rs. 3500/- through Credit Card. The installation could not happen as the Society didnt permitted to install the Antenna on the terrace so i ad signed a cancellation form on around 15th of May 2010, but till date i have not received the money back in spite of several calls to Airtel DTH Customer Care and also to the dealer. Even i was not given any complaint number by the Customer Care executives. I am now fed up following with them, so i need my money back with interest.Regards,

I have provided my both the mobile numbers to Airtel customer service, N number of times. I even got the calls from the Airtel customer care to know about the status of my complaint. I even got a call from the number [protected] and the person from the other side told me that he would come on the same day to resolve the problem. It's ridiculous to hear from you that I have not provided my contact details in the complaint.
More over the problem is still not resolved yet and to my surprise I got a message this morning stating my problem has been resolved...they even asked me to provide my feedback i.e, either 'SAT' if I'm satisfied or 'UNSAT' if I'm not, to 54325. I fail to understand how I am able to receive a message that my problem has been resolved even though the problem is not yet fixed.
Don't try to play the blame game by saying the details are lacking from my side.

We were very happy to watch Bhakti channel in 529 channel no. But that was replaced by ABN channel. we want vanitha, bhakti and Ntv channels.our ID No [protected]. please inform us about the above package.
Airtel Digital TV — No installation done
I've been a very satisfied customer of two Airtel mobile numbers and a broadband connection for last 6 years. That prompted me to go for their 999 offer for digital TV. Applied through their website and next day an executive called up. Opted for south mega plan, paid through credit card and was given a transaction number of 9885779 on 20/07/2010, about 11am. The money was recorded against my credit card immediately. Installation time was promised as 48 hours and was told that a customer ID will be SMSed to me.Been 3 days. No news. Called up their customer centers multiple times. They just say customer id or name doesn't exist and hang up. Called 12148. I was told that installation will happen soon and given a number to followup ([protected]) - that number is not in service! I am a bit surprised that Airtel got this kind of customer service.

Update. I got a call from customer center at around 11am today and also at 7:15pm. First time, I was promised that this will be completed in 2 days. The person who called at 7:15pm seemed surprised when I told him installation is still not done. They surely are following up, but I still don't have a customer id or the connection. Fingers crossed!
This cannot be a "remote area" problem since I stay at Koramangala, very much within Bangalore.

I have also received the payment details in my unbilled credit card account. Now, where did this money go?

One week over. No movement at all. Called up 12148. Twice. Both the executives said they will call back soon (I didn't believe that and they didn't!) and that this complaint has been forwarded again to installation team. I was given a new number for installation team - [protected]; unsurprisingly, that number doesn't exist either. My opinion about Airtel has come down in leaps!
So finally, one guy promises to come by 11am today (27/07/2010). I call up at 9:30am and then they say they will come at 1:30pm. Since I had to go to work, I said if this is not happening, I am going to cancel the connection. So, two people come at 11:30 and finish the work. Activation is still not done - they said it will take an hour, but hasn't happened even after 6 hours. 8th day and still no TV.

Airtel Digital TV — Non availability of channels
Dear Sir,I had a Airtel Digitel TV connection here in Satna (MP) in the month of May 2010, i have take the 4 month subscription and paid Rs. 1800/- at the time of connection. Initially all the channels which include in the package were shown very well but down the line from last 20 days some of the channels has been blocked due to any technical problem by Airtel company.
In continuation i had register my complaint on there customer support no[protected] twice and they have given me two different complaint no each time first one is 3245697 and the second is 3267790 but till today night no technical support has been provided by the company.
I would just like to file a consumer case against the company, please guide what should i do in this regard as this is nothing except a case of mental harassment.
Please take a necessary action against the service provider and oblige me.
