I am following up with Air tel Digital TV customer care from last 3weeks to rectify technical issue at my Dish antenna.

No use. Customer care executive tell that technician will visit in 24 hrs .. No one visits / no one cares bac.

Their website mail id ( [protected]@airtel.in ) mail bounce back .


This is the worst customer care , I experienced till date across all services in India ( worst than Govt free services)

AirTel — the worst service

It is shameful to say I am using airtel mobile.

they charge two rupees for one minute call duration. (The company can be called reputed thief.

most of the times connectivity is not there.

when you make a call it will get disconnected within few seconds and this theif co. will charge you one rupee.

wheN you will have the balance of around five to seven rupees they will start barking "your balance is low and the number you are calling does not exist"

for example if you have balance of 1.64 and dial a number for STD (for which call charge is Re 1 for sixty seconds) it will get disconnected in 20-25 seconds.

is there any one to stop this so called reputed company.

in my view they don't know basics of consumer satisfaction.

but let them remember a costumer is always a mobile advertiser of the product or service and I will prove to be the same but in a negetive way. REMEMBER AIRTEL

This is a warning for all new airtel DTH customer that henceforth do not even think of Airtel DTH, dont ever suggest any one to buy airtel DTH as after sale service is pathetic, i would say eevn BSNL is far ahead in case of service comaparison. I got the first airtel DTH in Jammu. Recently i got transferred to chandigarh. befor coming to chandigarh i deposited Rs300 in their account and got slot for de installation, but no one visited my address and finally after regular follow up with the customer care i did de installation myself. Then while i was coming back to chandigarh i asked them to install my services next day. But a new era of manatal harassment started with the customer care. I specifically gave then then new address but they did not turned up. After 4 days of regular follow up i got call from backend team and he gave me the ZSM name and number. I called him up and even after following yup with him engineer came next day in evening.

After around 6 days my set top stopped working and i complaint to them in morning and they said by same day evening it will be resolved. As usal no body turned up and i again made call to them in evening. The reply that i got was shocking they said " You were not there when there engineer visited home" . I asked which addres did you visited, they said Jammu. i said boss if i have installed your services at chandigarh what is the fun visiting jammu address. After this i had word with senior Pramod who convinved me that engineer will visit address in evening . At around 4 pm i received call from there backend team and he asked me what is the update. I asked you should be knowing and then he said your jammu address is locked. listening to this i got angry and i asked him to give his ZSM number so that i can talk to him. But to my amaze he abused me and hung up the phone.

Now yesterday evening i have gone to dainik bhaskar and complaintd there. New will get pyublish today.

As a information i am posting this post. Please BE AWARE FROM AIRTEL DTH. THE MOST PATHETIC SERVICE PROVIDER OF THE NATION

worst services in girias brigade road , they dont respect customer , my only advise is never shop at girias.
I agree. Airtel Digitel Service is indeed pathetic. Their customer care is totally useless and the company does not respond to emails and does not set right the deficiencies in service at all. Its lousy.

AirTel — For worst Service

Hello Sir,

Myself Ashwani Kumar and I am a customer of Airtel. My number is [protected]. I have recharged my mobile with 88 Rs. which would give me Local/National(700 pd SMS) for 30 days but it didn't happen. I have activated this service on Monday, 08th Mar, 2010 at 10 PM but whenever I send messages, I have to pay message charges which should not be happened as I had taken Airtel message service.

I talked to Customer Care about the same. They assure me that this service will be activated on Tuesday, 09th Mar, 2010 between 5 working Hrs. I waited for Tuesday but again it didn't happen.

Again, on 09th Mar, 2010, I talked to Customer Care Executive regarding the same.
Now they told me this service will be activated till 15th Mar, 2010.

Please help me out from this problem. I want my money back. I do not require such a worst service like Airtel. Also I do not require any SMS pack from Airtel.

Please do the needful.

AIRTEL DIGITAL TV — worst service and customer care

Although I saw internet flooded with complain against Airtel digital tv, but I thought to purchase the airtel digital tv keeping the hope that I will receive the better service.
I selected the Airtel New Value pack, 145 rs per month charges and first 3 months free subscription included in 1990 rupees. Leaving the economy pack, 200rs per month and first 5 months free subscription included in 1990 rupees.
I called and took the connection. Airtel's executive told me that I will get the connection in 1 day. But I got the connection only after 9-10 days. Then After 3 months I came to know that they cheated and internally selected the economy pack 200rs per month and only 3 months free subscription. They gave some Deepak Ghai, New delhi address rather than My name and my Agra address. Then after 3 month, when I was asked for payment of 220 rs, I came to know about their cheating. I called the customer care, and told them I should be asked for 145+tax amount rather than 200+tax amount. The executive told that now they can not do anything when the plan period has expired. I told them I can only know about what my plan is, only when I am asked for payment because neither they drop any email nor any physical mail to me. and Now I came to know. Their CSR told that they can not do anything and put the phone.
after much Harassament, I got my airtel DTV disconnected and get the connection from TATA sky and now I am satisfy with TATA SKY services.

My suggestion are NEVER BUY AIRTEL DIGITAL TV CONNECTION. THEY HAVE THE WORST CUSTOMER CARE AND SERVICES. DONT BELIVE ON THEIR LIE.

AIRTEL DIGITAL TV — Worst Customer Support Service

Dear All,

If you don't want to go through a hell lot of mental harassment then never buy an Airtel Digital tv as if you ever got a problem in your service then you will have to wait for a year long time to get it resolved and that to if the problem is such small as the remote not working.
I've been using Airtel DTH connection since 2009 April. (Customer ID: [protected]) . Couple of weeks back, I raised a request for shifting my Airtel DTH connection. I was told to recharge for 300 rupees to proceed with the DTH shifting request. I recharged for 300 and successfully raised the request for relocation.

It’s been more than 17 days since I gave the request, and My DTH has not been relocated to our new house. To top it all, my connection is marked as Active and daily subscription amount has been debited from my account.

For the Last couple of weeks, I’ve been calling repeatedly to check the status and every time the CSR is raising a new complaint and says this will be resolved in a day or couple of days..

Also I’ve spoken to 4 Supervisors and made more than 16 calls to Customer care for DTH relocation

Didn’t understand why I’ve to make in numerous calls to address a single service request.( FYI: I’ve raised a shift request for Airtel Broadband and it was completed promptly.) One of the worst customer service, and that too from Airtel brand.

At last, I've decided to close my Airtel DTH account. I called today and asked the CSR to take a request for closing my account. I asked the CSR on how the balance amount in Airtel DTH (More than 450rs) will be given back to me. The CSR replied that the balance amount will not be given to me and I’ve to use the Airtel DTH till my balance amount reaches Zero.

I don’t understand what I’ve to do now. I don’t have an active Airtel connection (relocation of DTH is not completed) but CSR tells me that I’ve to use Airtel DTH.

AIRTEL DIGITAL TV — Airtel Digital TV is worst Service

I will also advice every one not to go for Airtel Digital TV as they are worst in after sale service.
I taken HD connection on 1st Nov 2010, after three days got activation, and now I feel my cable watching was better then Airtel Digital HD Connection.
In past 20 days almost I made more then 50 calls to Hind Distributor(Agent in my area) / Customer Care, spoken to Customer Care Supervisor on duty on 19 Nov 2010 at 14.30 Hrs and 20 Nov 2010 at 20.00 hrs, but my problem not resolved.
I feel they gives defective products and takes our hard earned money.
Now I want to get my money refunded as this is service in beginning and once warranty of the product is over then we will have problem.

Two months back I had taken Airtel DTH connection. from one week onwards it's not working. I called the Airtel DTH customer care also. They are not at all responding. please give me the solution. otherwise I will file a case against Airtel in consumer forum court. I want immediate response. And my no. is [protected].

AIRTEL DIGITAL TV — Worst Customer Service Possible

I purchased a Sony TV and was happy to receive an Airtel digital TV voucher for a HD set top box. After the long and protracted process of registration etc. I scheduled the installation. However, there was no response from the persons concerned.

I have rescheduled the installation twice and still not have it installed.. My entire weekend has been spoilt because of these guys. If there is no meaning of this installation time, then what is the use of having this?? This is the worst possible service I could have expected from a brand like Bharti. This is possibly the reason why most people recommend Tata Sky, Reliance even though everybody thinks Airtel has the best quality.

And not to mention the quality of customer service offered plus the connectivity is really poor..onehas to call 4-5 times to reach an operator..Pathetic service..Just pathetic

Airtel digital TV customer service is the worst service I have ever had a conversation with, The e recharge is not working the customer help lines are getting disconnected.The Hindi, English lines are not correct.

I also got the Airtel free with my SONY TV, wish I had got some other service provider

The existing plan was Sports economy, and I wanted some additional regional channels, where as I am now charged for some sports channel I already have and the account has been deactivated with negative balance of -99.99 Rs

When I called up the customer care service they were not only able to solve this issue but They are the only customer care that does not provide any Interaction number for the conversation

I am Customer Of Airtel Digital Tv. Since April 16th 2010. My Customer ID:[protected]. I Want To Re-locate My Dish Into My New Address. I Make A First Request On 29/3/2011. After That Airtel Digital Technician Came On 8/4/2011. He Re-Installed My Dish. Then I Got Signal Problem On Next Day Morning. After That Again I Complained To Airtel Digital CC Then My Dish Re-installed On 16/4/2011. I Got Signal Strength 184-230 And Signal Quality 20-40%. After That I Got Calls From Airtel Digital For Confirming Re-Installation. Some Times I Got Pixel Problem. On Next Day(17Th Evening) I Switched On My Tv. That Time Again I noticed B001 Error On My Tv Screen. Still I Am Not Getting Perfect Picture Quality. I Paid For Re-Installation Rs. 200 + Connector Rs.50. Now I Can't Make Calls To Airtel Digital Customer Care Number. To Say About My Issue. Some Times They Are Disconnecting My Calls. For Solving My Issue I Make More Than 100+ Calls To Customer Care.

Airtel DTH — Worst Customer Care

I am getting error SM2, and when I tried to contact cusomer care, multiple times the CC person says.. The system are in under updation, I should contact after one an hour, or they say that the problem will be resolved automatically after 45 min of keeping set top box on.

But no resolution has been made.

Afterwords when I again tried to contact the call automatically dropped after around 30 sec, i tried more than 100 times.

Then after the auto responder ask to send SMS on 54325 and get disconnected..tried more then 50 times.

The worst customer care services Airtel DTH is having...
Hi...just have a suggestion to everyone reading this message and has a problem with Airtel's service - lets try to spread facts of Airtel DTH's pathetic service as much as possible - lets mention it on twitter/ facebook and every other place possible. Let us do our best to alert as much potential customers of Airtel DTH as possible so that they also do not end up wasting their hard earned money and time. It is pathetic on the part of Airtel to sell their DTH products when they do not have the back up infrastructure to support customer calls. I have decided to never call their customer care, and get insulted when the call gets cut everytime.

I think if people who have been victims of poor service from Airtel DTH form a group that would possible be one of the largest groups in India.
