This complaint is for excess amount paid for Airtel Mobile No [protected] and not getting refund of the same without surrendering the connection.
Actually I tried to make payment of my Credit Card of Rs. 6024/-. In the biller’s list there is Airtel as first biller (default selection) and while making payment, by mistake, I have selected Airtel and made the hot payment.
My monthly bill of Airtel mobile services is approx Rs. 400/- to Rs. 500/-.
I have called Airtel call centre, they are saying there is no option to refund the excess payment, only choice is to adjust it in monthly dues. As explained above, it would be remained there approximately for next one year. If I would pay short in any month then Airtel will charge late fee on the overdue, then why the excess amount can not be refunded. If it is a matter of 1-2 month advance payment then okay, but it is matter of whole one year in advance without any interest/extract facility.
It was my mistake that I accept, but there should be some provision so that if customer is asking for refund then that should be allowed.
Since it was a huge amount, I have surrendered the connection to get the excess amount refund. Due to this there is loss of my office working, personal network and daily working.
It is suggestion in term of complaint. Additionally, I want to re-acquire the same No.

Airtel DTH — connection not working
I have an airtel dth which has not been working for the last ten days.Inspite of repeated reminders to customer care and nodal office nothing has been done.I have sent mails to nodal as well as customer care.Customer care call centre is ineffective and very difficult to get through.
