I called the number [protected] on 13th Sep '2010 and booked my order for a MEGA PLAN with a parent and one child connection. I was put through a payment gateway and I made a payment of Rs 3380 from my HSBC credit card. The order was confirmed by the executive and a transaction Id was provided to me which is : 10790047. He confirmed that payment of Rs 3380 has ben debited and also confimed that the connection will be installed at my home address within 72 hours. It is 22nd Sep today and as of date I have not heard back from Airtel. Its been 9 days today and there is no revert. I have fanatically been calling Airtel DTH customer care center and I am just being transferred between executives without any satisfactory response. I have contacted their nodal office as well but there is no revert. All they have to say is that we have marked an email and soon you will get a revert. After 20 repeated calls within the last week , they provided me with a compalint number which is : 3899532. I kept following up on this complaint number through their email id but there was is response at all. After taking the money and repeated complaints no body has even bothered to give a call back and look into the matter.
Paid for connections but installation still pending and there i sno revert at all from the company


I have already paid the amount of Rs 999/- through my HDFC Credit card, the payement details is 13792 TPIVR on 18th sep. The order was confirmed by the executive and a transaction Id was provided to me which is : 10874488. He confirmed that payment of Rs 999/- has ben debited and also confimed that the connection will be installed at my home address within 72 hours. It is 22nd Sep today and as of date I have not heard back from Airtel. Its been 5 days today and there is no revert.I have called in 12150, on 20th sep but not got any satisfactory answer. After taking the money and repeated complaints no body has even bothered to give a call back and look into the matter.

    Dear Sir,

    We bought your AIRTEL Digital TV set top box and entire antenna and accompanying equipments on 29th of September last year from M/s SHAH and Co., Chromepet outfit, Chennai. A fortnight ago, the set top box failed to function. After our repeated attempts and follow up of complaints registered with your toll free number, your representative or employee came in to see only today, that even, did not replace at all. They are quite arrogant and refused to reply properly to our enquiries. At last they tried to fix a very old, dilapidated and not in good condition, smaller box, which is incorrect. They mis handled the new one also, which we purchased.

    When the warranty is on, how can they replace with a oldest, dirty looking, smaller outdated version, was our repeated question, which was confronted with a very rude and discourteous reply from those service personnel. They told us to contact their team lead one Mr. Senthil by Mobile No.[protected]. His reply was much more arrogant, asking me to do whatever I can.

    This is not the way a genuine customer can be slapped with, for all the trust and confidence with which we have gone in for your DTH Digital TV.

    Request please look into this immediately as any more drag will only entail lapse of time to warranty. Kindly arrange to replace the set top box with a new one, which only you are to do with a moral conscience.

    Am Saravanan From Ariyalur, My Customer Id. [protected], already complaint before 7 months (now the time within warranty period) naturaly my stb box failured i complained customer care officer October-2011. After 1months service man come to my home and try to resolve the problem,, but dont resolve the proplem he said to me stb box is failure so you complaint again customer care. so i again complaint[protected].58 PM. i talk to customer care officer Mis. Divya ...she said your stb box is replace within 2 days we charged RS. 750 i agreed the deal by till the date[protected]no response and dnt resolve the problem. i complained every week from the last 7 months but your company is no response the complaint. till the date i recharge my account but am beneficery the last 7 months. why your company response to the customer ofter selling your product.?

      THIS IS NOT A COMPLAIN BUT NEEDS HELP. I RECENTLY PURCHASED AIRTEL DTH HD VERSION SINCE I WAS HAVE A SAMSUNG LCD MONITOR (SYNCMASTER 2233sw) WHICH SUPPORTS FULL HD (1920X1080). MY MONITOR RUNS FULL HD WITH DVI CABLES OF COMPUTER GRAPHICS CARD.

      I CONNECTED THE AIRTEL DTH HD WITH A HDMI -> DVI CABLE TO SAMSUNG MONITOR (AIRTEL PROVIDED HDMI TO HDMI).

      PROBLEM IS THAT THE PICTURES COME FOR 15-20 SECS WITH RESOLUTION 1920X1079 SENT BY DTH, AND SINCE IT IS NOT MATCHING 1920X1080, THE SCREENS GETS BLANKS AND SCREEN SAVER POPS OUT SHOWING OPTIMISE RESOLUTION NOT AVAILABLE. TO GET BACK I HAVE TO SWITCH ON OFF THE LCD AND THEN THE SAME PROBLEM AFTER 15-20 SECS. I HAVE TRIED ALL POSSIBLE SETTINGS OF LCD AND DTH BUT ALL IN VAIN.

      IF ANYBODY FACED THE SAME PROBLEM THEN HOW TO RESOLVE IT. ELSE MY BUYING DTH HD WAS LOSS. CALL ME AT [protected]

        i am Facing Problem regarding the security and other refunds for the last one year. The Problem is I had disconnected Airtel Telephone No.[protected]which is STD Coin Collection Box) on July 2009 and deposited the instrument in the local airtel contace center. After That i have submitted request for refund of security deposit and instrument cost and the total being 1700 i.e 500+1200 deposited by me in the first six months bills in the local contact center. Every time i have visited the contact center they told me that your request is in process wait for some time and this process take more than one year. After that they told me to Issue a new telephone connection and the refund amount shall be transfered to that number and for the last four months i am using the airtel landline number[protected] but no refunds amount is
        transferred to that account number till date. This shows that the Local Airtel Contact Center i.e PNS TELECOM AMBEDKAR CHOWK KARNAL makes Fool of me as
        well as by fraudlent activities by telling a lie, because Either the amount shall not be transferred to my another airtel number nor the amount is refunded by them till the
        date because it takes more than one year.Mr.Gagan is the person dealing with me for the last one year regarding this complaint,many times i have visited there for the resolution but they told me that i have forwarded this complaint to airtel . Several times i have lodged the complaint in the customer care but no positive response is received from them.Following are the Request Number for the complaint which i had filed in the airtel customer care:

          I am getting every 2 hours one SMS informing me "This number is using your mobile! From [protected] for the past two months. I have complained to the service provider on 19 Aug 2010. The service request no. is 33631416. They said they will get back to me on 31 Aug 2010. They did get back to me only to say that this no. belongs to the other service provider & they have informed them. By saying that Airtel people have washed off their hands.
          In this cintest I would request Airtel to take up the matter with the concerned service provider.

            Airtel sent to me a code for free gift, when i checked the details they want Rs 150 as courier charges..the watch and the googles they seem to offer is not worth Rs 100....If they announce as free everything should be free this is not fair......Corier charges should be borne by the sender.....Nowadays they charge for the free number 121 if we talk to the customer care executive.....These are restrictive practices...TRAI should object to all these activities of aIRTEL COMPANY....aLSO in foreign countries they charge less for broadband width....Airtel increased or doubled and announced as free but shelved all the schenmes Rs699 and Rs599 and forced us to change over to 799 scheme for 512kbps How this can be fair practice?
            Al;so keeping the same equipment and adding a few incurring less cost they charge the customers heavily...
            Sometimes in the prepaid accounts they go on deductind money without our knowledge.How to trust these private piracy? TRAi shopuld intervene and not be silent spectator.

            HELLO,
            I HAVE PURCHASED REEBOK SHOES FOR MYSELF, FROM BITTAN MARKET, BHOPAL( M.P.) INDIA, WORTH RS.6599.00, FOR WHICH I GOT TWO GIFT COUPONS, HAVING FOLLOWING DETAILS-
            1. SCRATCH CARD NO.MUVXT4740925, COUPON NO.20409.
            2.SCRATCH CARD NO.QVGMG4741195, COUPON NO.20411.
            I FILLED UP MY SUBMISSION TO REDEEM FOR BOTH THE SCRATCH CARD COUPON TO GET THE ACTIVATION CODE FOR MOBILE AND E-MAIL ACTIVATION.

            Yes! they charge 150 for the courier and the calls made to the 121 customer care number is being charged 0.50paise per minute. TRAI should step into this 121 call charges issue and do the needful so that calls made to the AirTel Customer care is not billed.

            Come on, i dont think airtel would be making a huge lot of money by charging 50paise for 3 minutes. this is just a filtering mechanism to avoid unnecessary support calls. Earlier, one had to wait for 5-10 minutes to get to speak to a customer operator. All this is now past.
            Genuine complainers do not mind paying 50paise, if it saves them 10 minutes of their time plus the same 10 minutes of battery can be used to make other important calls.

            I am not sure about whether the gifts offered by airtel are genuinely for the value they mentioned. however if they use a good courier company then too they would be shelling out atleast 100 bucks for delivery.

            For the rental of 799 and more. i think they still have best rentals compared to other true boradband players like tata indicom. Obviously we cannot and should not compare airtel with MTNL or BSNL as their customer support is poor or non-existant.
            I totally agree with the above complaint, FREE means FREE. Just have a look at the quality of the watch and sunglasses they are displaying in the offer. It surely is not worth 150 and I'm sure will not last 150 days. I have opted for the wrist watch. Will let you guys know... how much worth it is ...

            I did face same issue. I got offer of teo Reebok watches on taking broadband connection in Ganehs festival of 2010. I got gifts after doing followup 2-3 times. And at the time of delievery I ahd to pay charges of 300, which is nothing but the actual cost of watches. Courire charges to be borned by the sender.               We the resident of Asifnagar area brings to your kind notice that a Air-Tel Tower was erected at the roof of H.No.12-1-630/3/A in Asifnagar area beside Old Taddy Compound one year back. Many people residing the surrounding area of this house are suffering from different ailments with side effects of above Air Tel Tower. The doctors have also confirmed these side effects when approached for medical treatment. It is not known whether Municipal authorities have granted permission to erect the above tower, but it is quite injustice to allow such permission contrary to the wishes of neighbours in the area.

              We therefore request you to kindly look in to the matter personally and see that the above tower is removed immediately from the above House in order to prevent further damage to the health of innocent people of the area.

                        in response to my earlier complaint on 19/09/2010 i am very happy that my complaint is given attention and is resolved to day. at the same time i am sorry to say that to day i have recieved another sms on my mobile no [protected] that i have subscribed for i have used "bollysubcription" and rs 10/- was deducted from my balance. the same was not used by me. i am astonished to receive such an sms. please look into the matter and arrange to reverse the entry. also see that such unauthorised entries does not take place.

                        hi i am unable to speak to airtel customer care exwcutive. everytime i dial 121 198 it takes me to the automated voice. yesday airtel deducted 99 for a website i dmo not wish to ever subscribe. pl.help
                        I recharged Rs.100/- for my airtel prepaid mobile number +91 [protected] on 06.01.2013. As the balance was NIL again I recharged for Rs.100/- on 15.01.2013. Even in that money was being deducted. Customer care officers are telling that I have subscibed for something. But I dont agree with them. Last time also in the same way money was deducted and again given re-credit. This time they are refusing to give re-credit. In my opinion this is as good as cheating the public.

                        My question is
                        1.Tomorrow If Bankers deducts some Crores from airtel bank account and say that airtel has subscribed to something / donated to some institution, what airtel will do?. Will they sacrifice that amount. Today Airtel is cheating. Tomorrow If Bankers cheats in the same way?

                        2. Is it not illegal? deducting money when we have not subscribed for anything.

                        3. Why even for making complaint, you are charging 50 paise for three minutes.

                        4. Why we Indians should trust you?

                                My name is Suresh Kanaparthy. I am having Airtel Mobile connection since 9 year(Approx.) in Andhra Pradesh State.
                                My Airte Mobile No. is [protected] .I have started this no. as postpaid for 4 years and then converted it to prepaid lifetime plan. Resently since last few months this Mobile No.not in use . From last few days my mobile no.-[protected] is not working(Neither I can make call nor receive).
                                I asked Airtel's Customer Care, Airtel's Customer Care Relationship Center- Ameerpet Airtel Headoffice, Nodal Officer . But answer given to me by above all Responsiable Parsons (for Airtel Customer Care) mismatches with each other's answer.
                                I talked with Airtel'sCustomer Care Relation Ship Center Head on dated 10/09/2010, he told me that you have lost your Mobile No.-[protected] and it will come in market on date 21/07/2010.
                                So, now I don't know what to do? Why Airtel's employee can't give a proper and unity answer that because of which reason My Mobile No.-[protected] is deactivated?
                                Then I Talked to the Nodal Officer on dated 10/09/2010, then informed me your Mobile No.- [protected] is in Open Market, then i asked to reactivate it, they informed we will forwarrd a request,after one weak follow up on 17/09/2010 I came to know that My number was taken by other person.

                                How it is possible in very-very sort time?

                                I need my no. as I used it for almost 9 years.

Also return the money unnecessarily debitted on my accounts for the above service.

                                  I wish none of such services will be hence forth activated on my cell numbers. i would also like to make a point that i hardly receive your " atut network" at my residential area. i have to walk couple of miles searching for the network. so may i know how i shall be making a call or send messages for the extra services as conformly answered by your customer care executives.                                     I have been using Airtel prepaid connection([protected]) for quite some time now. Currently, I am in Gurgaon(NCR) on a trip and I intend to stay there for another month. Today, to my utter disbelief, I realised that my outgoing and incoming calls were barred.A call to airtel support (UP east) revealed that it was done by Airtel because I didn't submit some verification document. Now How am I supposed to know that I had to submit the documents.I didn't get any sms or calls on my mobile for the same.
                                    The guy on the line (who was not even able to speak proper hindi) suggested me to come to lucknow and submit the documents. As you would Imagine this is not possible for me at this moment, so I request Airtel to kindly activate my mobile connection else I will escalate this further with Nodal authorities.
                                    This is clearly a case of customer harassment.I am willing to submit all the documents once I am back in Lucknow.

                                    Worst is what is Airtel.............believe me and i hav reason to say the same

                                    ~ using airtel ([protected]) from last 3 years
                                    ~ Automatically outgoin stops during roaming
                                    ~ Customer care people are not able to provide solution, only forwarding my msgs to their supervisers and they wasted my time with non sense excuses.
                                    ~ Not intrested to tell me why the service get stopped
                                    plz give my num. call detail this month my num.is [protected]
                                    your service very poor, low & bad. your customer care centre operator behaviour i don't like.

                                      airtel broadband is cheating people with false promises.i have not recieved the numero uno sunglass as of now!!
                                      the internet service is also pathetic!
                                      I cant say anything about the above complaint!

                                      As on the commitment provided to me by Airtel, they had sent me the Numero Uno Sunglasses, in 20 days time after I accepted for the so said Offer. I received the Sunglass through courier, for which I paid Rs. 150 as delivery charges I just want to share my opinion!

                                        i had loosed my mobile with number [protected] (vineet kumar )
                                        and makes a call to airtel relationship center that my mobile is stolen so baar the serveces of that number .

                                        the services barred but after half an hour number services activated. without my confirmation also it is dame thing that the number is still in the name of me .
                                        it is sed by someone else i so not know .


                                        now if there is any misuse will be done then who will be responsible for that the airtel costumer care officer . or airtel india ltd .
                                        it seems snatcher brother is at set at airtel india ltd head office okhla .
                                        and do support for his brother.
                                        how much time you will take till date when the person the person will threats someone or demand rensome money through my number from someone .

                                        the number is miissed and i had made complaints of missing of that number tries .
                                        but number is still in service
                                        what is ttrie rules follow the airtel india limited . you may face court action dear rakesh kumar

                                        they had again avtivated this number as thiefs brother mr imran khan is working in airtel applet center delhi.
                                        this seems that this tipe of person can do any missdeed from others number . also this show airtel is worse company for a normal costomer .
                                        be alert from airtel and its employ.
                                        a new tipe of terrorist organization is emerging in delhi as they are using someone else number and id and address prooffs . and airtel like big company is supporting this kind of deeds .

                                        they have several view but result is same as always they are doing ...
