I have purchased a Airtail Dish TV (DTH) on 19th of Sep 2010. I have directly made payment of Rs. 999 from my credit card through their online system. I have been informed from them that the Dish will be installed between 48 Hrs. My customer ID is [protected] and Transaction ID is 10869265 given to me By Airtail DTH.
Today after 9 days Dish is not yet installed. Kindly help me to get my money back, so that I can take a Dish from a good service provider.

i am asenior executive of orissa power transmission corporation limited recevied a free activation voucher by purchasing tv. then i contact to airtail company through toll free number and i was directed to deposit Rs550/- and recived one id number then i deposited rs550/-and recived confirmation message through mobilei.e on 28.11.2010 then after several telephone calls the machine was installed on dated 05.12.2010 but till date activation has not made .i am very sorry to say such type problem should not be happen with such big company.my customer id-[protected] my name is umesh prasad das

    I'm Robin Singh and my contact no. is [protected].

    1-i'm completely frustrated with airtel services since, i had transferred my no. from postpaid to prepaid i have deposited my id documents, 4 times in modinagar Reg.office(Mr.Sandeep chauhan) and 2 times in your Reg. office at Garh Road near ccs university MEERUT.till now i have been asked for my id and documents.
    Due to which my no. gets barred and the registration no. of my sim gets failed.
    so, please activate my sim as soon as possible

    2-Also, i have written 1 more complaint before about the deactivate of the FRENZO SERVICE on my no. but no action has been taken yet and therefor charged 20rs.again from my account.

    now i want to inform you that if no action been taken on these matter then the company will have to pay any losses due to sim blocked.
    Also i want that company should pay my rs.20 back to my account and please activate my no. as soon as possible.

    i'm not satisfied at all with the airtel services at all

      In response to requirement of service provider I submitted residential proof and PP photo on 10th Sept 2010. Documents were deposited with Bhubaneswar Agents (shop opposit Xavier Square, Jayadev Vihar, Bhubaneswar). Strangely, Aietel sends threatning message to stop service (via my mobile phone [protected]). Why should I suffer for the inefficiency, negligence and callousness of Airtel/ their Agents?

      yes, this is due to the callous attitude of the service providers the customers are facing problem. i also one of the victim for the same.even after giving all the supported documents and pp again the aritel is sending threatening lmessages and even they dare to stop my outgoing call facility. without verifying the authenticity of the documents provided to airtel they simply putting the customers in to trouble by blocking the facilities. this is really radicules. hari kumar [protected]

        Dear sir,

        This is to draw your kind attention to the fact that the services offered by Airtel are flawed and not one bit customer friendly.
        I had applied for an Airtel prepaid number ([protected]) in July 2010, and for a couple of weeks it worked fine.
        One fine day in mid-July, I got an sms late in the evening that due to incomplete document submission, my Airtel number will be blocked. This despite the fact that I had submitted all the required documents to the dealer at the Airtel outlet (Sohna road, Gurgaon).
        Within 2 hours, my number was deactivated, without a proper notice period and without any time to help me rectify any issues.
        I was so pissed off with Airtel that I stopped using that number and switched over to Vodafone.

        Now 1 month after I stopped using Airtel, the losers have the nerve of debiting an amount of Rs. 1030 (ICICI bank Credit Card, transaction ID ref. no.: 75140680246042337241200) via an mcheck payment, something which I have not done.

        Kindly advise as to how I should get this issue rectified?
        Also, I'm seriously planning on dragging these buggers to the Consumer Forum for the mental trauma and distress that they've made me (and probably many others) suffer!

        Airtel — Harrasment to me by suspending my number

        I am having post paid connection of the airtel, I got this connection last month, I have deposited Rs 500 and got the connection from one of the execitive, I have paid the last bill that was around 2887 i paid 113 rupees extra, mine credit limit is Rs 2500 and i have not defrauded any of the bill, If I call the customer care they say that your account is active but all thge time There is display on mobie that sim registration has failed.
        After runnong from one office to another i am not getting exactly what is reason they have suspended my account.
        I am very far off from my faimly and these people even ypu pay up the bill still they are harrasing me , I am in mental taruma.
        If some one knows the email ID of sunil mittal Bhati please let me know so that i can express him what kind of service you people are providing. I am really amazed if they are doing with the person like me who use to pay more then the outsatanding amount what this people would be doing to person who may paying the bill littile late due to some reason

        I need to express my grief and share with you alll guys if you have any good relation with electronic media.

        Unwanted Incoming SMS from 5432101
        I am a Customer of Airtel Pre-paid Service. My Airtel Mobile Phone No is [protected]. These days, I am getting unwanted SMSs from to my mobile. SMS Sender s ID: 5432101. I am also un-necessarily charged after receiving sms from the aboive sender. I neither talked to any person nor I did send any SMS. Thus my talk value is reducing minute after minute every day without any service from Airtel.
        You are therefore requested to look into the matter and stop all incoming SMS from Sender s ID: 5432101 and also stop un-necessary reduction of talk value.

        Airtel — unauthorized deduction in prepaid sim card

        My name is Pratheep antony raj.I am having a prepaid Airtell sim card.[protected].I have subscribed for 50Mb free down load scheme in the prepaid scheme.Though down loading 50Mb is free an amount of Rs.160 has been deducted from my balance amount towards the down loading charges.Air tell customer care is not responding properly.They have given an Reference number-CBDCC[protected].But the customer care is not taking any action to remit the amount to my account.

          I would like to bring in the notice of the authority who is dealing with the complaints that are being registered on this online forum that I, Sankalp Thapar, am being harrased by Airtel people for paying the due amount of the mobile number [protected] which I have already cleared in the month of June this year. I depossited the amount in sector 32 office of Airtel and I also got it disconnected then and there only. The details for the are as follows:-

          I would like to get something about this done as the harrasment is increasing and this is not justified that when I have already cleared all the dues, why should pay more money to them.

            I enjoy the Airtel lifetime prepaid service from 7yrs.Now a days Company deduct Re.1 from my balance as the due of Value Added Services which i don't ask for to the Customer Care located in Maharashtra from last 7month.When I call customer care they said that i ask them to start jokes service on my mobile on 27 march 2010.Then i ask them that why they don't send me the SMS every day as i borrow the VAS; they stop my service. So my Complaint is Company unauthorizely deduct my money from last 185days which i want refund so how i get ? and what is the procedure?

            I am a prepaid customer of airtel life time service my no is [protected].
            I would like to bring in your notice of illegally debiting money from my prepaid number by sending messages saying Thank you for subscribing the Vas pack 50 service that I haven’t used, from the phone. I received a message from no 543212 from this service provider thanking me for using their service at 11.50 am on 18-12-08 which I haven’t authorized. This is the third time I am paying from my prepaid account. Kindly take action not to repeat again.

            I am having airtel prepaid card bearing number #[protected]. Every month Rs.30/- get deducted. I have not opted for any caller tune still the amount gets deducted.

            Request you to check and pls reverse the amount back in my balance asap. Tried calling customer care very bad response someone picks the calls and gets disconnected.

            Need revert asap all will think to shift to other service provider

            I feel this is totally illegal. I want Airtel to return my Rs. 30/- immidiately.

            Airtel Prepaid Service — unathorised deduction

            Dear concern officer,
            I am a prepaid customer of your mobile service,having mobile no.as [protected].Today I received message from your 54321 no.informing that I have been renewed for auto sebcsription service and have been charged for 10 Rs.
            I was surprised to see the message.why on earth 10 Rs been deducted from my account?I have never allowed you to do so.I have never subscribed for such a service.
            When I call back and tha same no.and tried to tell this to you I was failed to make contact for three tines and told that the call is expired.I was charged for 6 Rs.for the service.
            Sir/Madam,what is this.It’s nothing but just a loot of customer.
            I need a explaination for this incident happened and I want ny 16 Rs back in my account.

            Airtel Prepaid — UNAUTHORISED DEDUCTIONS FROM PREPAID MOBILE

            I HAVE AIRTEL PREPAID MOBILE NUMBER [protected]. Every now and then some sms comes saying I have been charged (unauthorised deduction) for some down loads which I never attempted or downloaded. The latest is today 23 May 2010 for some JAVA GAMES for which I have been chaerged Rs.99/- and Tadka for which Rs.20/-. I sent sms to 121 STOP but reply comes "unable to process request try after some time." This is utterly ILLEGAL and I request Airtel to stop such malpractices forthwith and refund the unauthorised deductions.
            Register for DND services Do not call
            SMS STOP to 121 or call 1909 or SMS to 1909 for Activation of DND type START DND. You can request for refund. Some time they refund. One more thing note down your DND confirmation No:- so they have to stop unwanted calls with in 45 day if not you can write to http://ndncregistry.gov.in.

            my airtel prepaid card is debited with value added service charges even if i have not subscribed for the same. this has been happening for an year . even after repeated complaints to the customer care officer no action has been taken. my number is [protected].

            Last three months my balance credit in pre-paid mobile no is getting reduced without any calls or sms.I phoned customer care no and talked to Air-tel representative on 21st Nov.2010.to stop any deductions and any other non-authorised services; but they are still deducting money .Many similar users also find this malpractice of Airtel. LIKE THIS AFTER MY RECHAGE OF PREPAID TALK TIME.
            I HAD TWICE TO COMPLAINT AGAINST THIS WORKING PATTERN OF THE COMPANY TO REDUCING MY BALANCE TO COMPANY CALL CENTERS AND THE PERSON GIVES ASSURENCE THAT THEY WILL NOT DEDUCT SUCH CHARGES WITHOUT MY INTIMATION, BUT AGAIN AIRTEL COMPANYDOING SAME PROCESS AGAIN FOR THIS I WAS STOP TO RECHARGE THE TALK TIME TO MY PREPAID MOBILE THIS CREAT TO BIG PROBLEM TO ME THAT I AM NOT ABLE TO CALL IN EMERGENCY BECAUSE OF NON TALK BALANCE THE CAUSE IS THAT WHENEVER I WAS RECHARGE THE TALK TIME AIRTEL COMPANY REDUCE THE CHARGES FOR UNWANTED SERVICES ITSELF ONLY.

            It has been observed that in my mobile no [protected], the incoming calls are also charged. On being calling the customer care, either they dont pickup calls or if they pickup after hearing the plea , the attendants disconnect the call.

            AIR TEL OFFICE IS DEDUCTING AMOUNT FROM MY PREPAID MOBILE CONNECTION IN THE NAME OF SERVICES WHICH I NEVER ASKED & NOR UTILIZED .LIKE THIS THEY HAVE DEDUCTED RS.33+10+10+3+10 & OVER AND ABOVE RS.1 EVERYDAY KEEPDEDUCTING FROM THE BALANCE.ON ASKING WHY DEDUCTED RS.33 FOR WHICH NEVER ASKED ANY SERVICE BY ME .ONTHAT REVERSED RS.33 BUT AGAIN DEDUCTED RS.33 IN TOTAL GIVING SOME OTHER REASON & ON 4 DIFFERENT DATES.I AM SCARED THAT THIS WAY THEY WILL FINISH MY ENTIRE CREDIT AMOUNT LYING IN MY PREPAID MOBILE.KINDLY INTERVENE IN THIS CONNECTION .

            You must have a Airtel Relationship Center nearby in your city, visit them some day and discuss the problem with the executives, I hope it will be solved. Alternatively, dial customer care and ask about all the VAS active in your account and ask for deactivation of all that you don't want.

            I am a Airtel subscriber since last 12 yrs, I have 2 SIM cards of Airtel, all this never happened to me!

              Hello,

              i have a big issue with Airtel Landline service. I am not a customer of Airtel, however I have been receiving calls from Airtel collection services from last 1 month to make the payment for a number[protected] which is in the name of Dushyant Singh. I don’t know any Dushyant Singh & not familiar with this number either. I have informed this so many times to Airtel personal & they response is that I will not receive any more calls from Airtel, however this is not being done. I am receiving constant calls from Airtel to make the payment. I am sick & tired by receiving Airtel's calls & now mentally harassed by Airtel regarding.

              This is a humble request to STOP these collections calls or else I will have to take a LEGEL ACTION against Airtel for Harassing.

              AirTel — Undesired calls by Airtel

              Dear Sir,

              I have few landline and mobile phones from Airtel. The bills are being paid regularly. Every month there is call from your collection agency for bill payment details.This has become a mental menace.What wrong have we done by taking the Airtel connections.As business head of company do I need to keep giving details to all tom dick and harry about five numbers I hold and keep myself occupied- only because I have airtel cell number declared on these numbers? You are welcome to put charges if bills are not paid in time and you are also wlcome to disconnect the facilities if there is further delay in bill payments BUT for God's sake donot keep calling and enquiring whether bills have been paid or not.Pl STOP this nuisance or I may be forced to take appropriate actions.

              Airtel Landline — Release of personal Information

              Dear Sir,
              I was recently made aware of Airtels standing policy to release outstanding balance information to anyone that calls and asks for it. Airtel does not require any permission from the client before revealing the outstanding balance on any account. Also once a month they call the landline and inform whomever picks up the phone of what the balance is as well as when the bill is due. I called Airtel asking them to stop this action and to at least ask for the concerned person before giving out that information to whoever answers the phone. I have not given Airtel permission to release this information to the public however with or without it they continue to do so.

                My name is ramakrishna.b i am using Airtel service from the last three years, i have recived one message from airtel that is please submit the document in your nearest airtel showroom. so i was gone the airtel showroom for submit the docusmet that show room address is GSNP stores (Airtel prepaid showroom) beside syndicate bank, srnivasa nagar road Nandyal-518501, Kurnool dist, but they are asking 30/-rs for takeing the documents. i ask the question why i pay the money, their information is as per our TM Sreedhar and My Dealer we collected the money 30/- each costomer,

                i request you please verify the which is Resubmited the docustoments in nandyal location get the feedback from the customer and take the serious action immediatly and refound the amount to customers.

                  I agree. Airtel is into thieving its customer by starting any service anytime without even the customer sending any request and without notifying them. The customer only gets aware of the same when he is deducted of that money. I have been deducted with Rs.0.30 since a long time but since I make a lot of calls I never realized and thought that it must be some call charges only. But I saw this today (having made no call since morning) that they have been consistently deducting the above said amount (5 times since morning till now 2PM) for reasons known to them only. I have also logged a complain with no result / response till now.
                  They also keep sending links to cheap sites of FTV models and other models in Bikini.
                  Is there a limit to which they can go down, dirty and pathetic???

                    This problem happens again!!! All of a sudden my message outgoing has stopped. However, I am able to receive SMS.                     On 04/05/2011, I, Debasish Dutta brought a new Airtel Pripaid Connection after submitting all the documents and the number [protected] was activated.

                    On the same day I topped up this number with Rs 225 on 04/05/2011 at12:57 PM with trans ID:[protected] and Tariff Recharge on the same day of Rs16 at 12:54 PM with Trans ID[protected].I still have both the sms.

                    All of a sudden this number wasdeactivated on 18/05/2011 at 07:45:08 am and on query I was mailed:

                    We regret to inform you that your number has been permanently
                    deactivated on 18/05/2011 at 07:45:08 am, as there was no usage of your
                    account for 90 days or no recharge for 6 months. As per our policy,
                    this leads to disconnection of the number.

                    Now they are not responding to my mail,calling the customer care is also futile as they are saying they do not have any such number in their system

                            Hi All,

                            This is regarding Airtel provided false information about migration plan and cheated me. My Airtel # 080 -
                            40962739. On 18th of Sep I have got a call from airtel broadband in asking for the existing plan change from unlimited 799 plan to 1299 plan. Where he clearly mentioned I will get 2.0 mbps unlimted through out the month and there is no limit of 20 GB and if I download more than 100 GB also the speed will not reduce to 256 Kbps it will still remain 2.0 mbps connection through out the month. HE told me this plan value is 2499 and they are giving it in offer price of 1299 only for longterm customers like me. But when I called
                            customer care, They are saying my speed will come down to 256 Kbps after 20 GB of download. This is annoying and real cheating and fraud under the daylight. Some one please look into my issue and fix the problem.

                            My name is balaji. I have airtel broadband connection. my number is 42825935. I like to change change my broadband plan.Right now i have 999 plan . I like to change it to 799. Please change this as much as possible

                            Airtel Broadband — Migration to new plan

                            Most of the times I deal with Airtel Customer Service, I have faced issues. The most recent issue is related to our efforts to upgrade our Broadband plan from Rs. 799 to Rs. 1099. Below is a recap of events:

                            1) I called Airtel Broadband customer service on July 30 to upgrade our broadband connection from Rs 799 to Rs 1099 plan based on our usage pattern of the last couple of months.

                            2) My service request number was 1531868. I was told that the upgrade would happen as of Aug 12 as it was the start of new billing cycle for my account.

                            3) I called on Aug 14 to find out if my plan was changed to the one I requested. I was told I was still on my old plan (the upgrade did not happen due to "technical issues"). Of course, nobody bothered to call me back to keep me posted. I had a long chat with the rep. I told her that I will go to Consumer Court I was charged in August based on 799 plan. She said she will ask the concerned department to "look into" the matter.

                            4) I called again on Aug 31 (Wednesday) as I did not hear back from Aug 14 discussions! I insisted I should talk to a manager. While I was on hold to talk to the manager, my connection was dropped. I again called and asked for a manager, I was connected to Moses, the floor manager. He listened to my complaint. He said, he needs some time to talk to the concerned department. He promised someone would get back to me by Friday (Sep 2) evening.

                            5) As of Sep 6, nobody came back to me. Another billing cycle is coming to end (Sep 11). It is not fair to ask the customer to pay for Airtel's mistakes of not migrating to the requested plan, even after multiple calls.

                            I do hope Airtel will focus on customer service and customer retention, instead of just looking to add new customers and leaving them high and dry later.

                            Is someone from Airtel listening?

                                  I by mistake recharged 48RS recharge. I called cutomer care they told me that once your recharge validity is over it will automecally give you previous benifits I was getting that is of friend's scheme.
                                  But it has been one & half month I am not getting the benifits when I used to call cutomer care they kept telling me with in 24 hrs you will get converted into your origanal plan, but it never happened.
                                  Today when I called customercare they told me that my card has got converted into Lifetime card & I will have to rechage 156RS to convert into friends.
                                  The guy was not ready to listen to me & just cut the call. Names they told me while comtact are Subrato, rameshwar or somthing I do't know ...but Subrato assured me that card will get converted in friends but it got converted in Lieftime...hows that????

                                    I am the holder of the Airtel Cell No.[protected] and there was a balance of Rs.332-62 Paise in my sim card but unauthorisedly my amount has been taken off by the company. I was not using the cell from more that 6 months and my balance is Rs.0.12 paise and all the amount has been charged unauthenticated by the Airtel. Kindly take further action and remit the balance amount to my above illustrated cell.

                                      Suddenly One day I had a request to submit documents from Airtel. It was the same set of documents I have submitted one month back during buying the SIM. Moreover Airtel doesn't provide proper reasons for the request of document and it becomes more painful to talk with Airtel customer care representatives.

                                      The first Airtel representative to whom I talked told me to resubmit the same set of documents it would be fine as it is a periodic check by Airtel. I just bought this number one month back and I told him Airtel cannot ask these documents everymonth. He had no answer or rather kept on telling resubmit documents but didn't tell why I should.

                                      The message I received didn't mention anything about outgoing calls being barred.however Airtel barred outgoing calls around 2 days after I received the message without any proper intimation

                                      I called up again. This time the airtel representative said, incorrect documents were submitted. When I asked which document was incorrect. He said he didn't know and nobody in Airtel can tell me that. He suggested a list of documents which had to be submitted, which was nothing but same set of documents I submitted last time. Now I don't know actually what was wrong in my previous document submitted to Airtel and I fear the whole process will repeat with Airtel. But nobody was able to tell what was incorrect in first place.

                                      Now I wanted to register a complaint in Airtel. The Airtel voice message said I had to call 198. for complaints. But when I called the complaints department. This time they said Government of India wanted to know my documents, so airtel had given it and they want a copy of the documents for reference which is why they are asking it. This response from Airtel seemed foolish to me, they could have taken a copy and send it to government was my response. I wanted to raise a complaint which the person said he cannot. Even though it was a complaints number I called. he said there is no way they can take a complaint on phone and I would have to only send an email. so I think people who don't know to email cannot complaint in Airtel.

                                      Because they are not allowing me to use the Rs 700 odd balalnce I had, I asked them to refund the money, which they are not willing to do. Being a customer with two airtel mobile, a airtel DTH and an airtel broadband connection. I'm really really thinking of changing the service provider for all for this kind of sloppy service they provide. Don't know why i took Airtel for all in first place.
                                      I submitted my document a week ago but they want it again, i am using this no for past 4 year this is getting me frustrated; They are don't how to threat a customer..
                                      I've been using my Airtel prepaid card for over 4 years now, and now I'm facing the same issue. The outgoing calls have been barred without any prior intimation. The junks at customer support do not provide any rational reason for it, they just keep on repeating "you have to submit your verification documents". I wonder
                                      what Airtel has done with the documents initially submitted by me.



                                      Please stop harassing innocent customers.

                                        Respected Sir/Madam,

                                        Myself Mr. Omsingh Tanwar had taken the airtel digital TV around 2 years back. Since then we are facing some or the other problem and every time contacting the customer care for problem resolution is a tedious job. But since few months there is problem of picturization due to the DTH. After speaking to the higher authorities at the customer care after several calls they had send executives 3-4 times to resolve same problem but still not resolved and I was charged for the service every time they paid visit.

                                        Now even after several calls and an unresolved serious problem with the DTH service, I want suggestion to contact the right person to get these issued solved once and for all.
