Dear Consumer Forum,
I would like to tell what sort of people work in Airtel and they call themselves the best service providers.
I had lodged a request for Shifting my Airtel Landline/ Broadband / IPTV to my new address. I was told the SLA for doing the same is three working days (Reference number for this: 367820). Three days went a long time back but I heard no response from them. Then I raised another request (Reference Number :[protected]. After calling them again and again, finally a technician called named Govind. He told me they will come and set up everything. The guy came and told me he can only install Landline and Broadband but not IPTV, surprise surprise, I have not raised a request for IPTV, amazing.
So as per my understanding, they thought If I am shifting to a new address, I will only take landline and broadband with me but not IPTV. He asked me to raise another request, so I called the same best (????) service provider and raised another request (reference number :[protected].
Anyways, he still did the set up but could not activate IPTV and told me that It will be done next day by 12:00 clock.
Next day I tried to called the same technician (Govind), he refused to pick my phone. I guess that must be professionalism on his part. So, basically I did not get my IPTV activated the next day as well.
In the meantime, I wrote to care.[protected]@aitel.in and [protected]@airtel.in as well, but did not get any response. One fine day a guy called, he said he is from Airtel Corporate Office. I explained the problem to him. He said he will check and revert back in ten minutes. Surprise Surprise, I am still waiting for his call.
Also, I got an email and a message from them saying they have resolved my issue (reference number : 367820). Now as per there records, my issue is resolved and I still do not have IPTV.
Its been a month now, is there anybody at airtel who can sort this mess.

Airtel Telephone & Broadband — Discontinuation of Outgoing Calls
Our Airtel A/c no. is 13801821. We have made payment for the period July-Aug'08 vide chq no. 607542 dt. 19th Aug'08 via ICICI Bank of Rs. 7405, the chq was droped in an Drop Box at 10th Flr, Signature Tower-B, Gurgaon.But still our out-going calls have been discontinued.
Kindly look into the matter on prior basis.
