[Resolved]  Airtel Postpaid Bill — Wrong information from Customer Care Executive.Without informing changed bill plan & wrongly charged.

Hi All,
My mobile number is - [protected].
I had called Customer Care on 6th March, 2008 to change my bill plan.But my request was not heeded & the Customer Care Executive informed me that the bill plan cannot be changed until next billing cycle.Then I had requested Airtel for the 'Hotline Plan' in which I had free service from my Cell Number to the new Sim card number I received in the plan.Without my prior notice the bill plan was changed on 11th March, 2008 & I have been wrongly charged for the calls I made to the new Sim card number.The amount which was charged for the calls made on this number is about Rs.1937.00 which should have been ideally free according to the "Hotline Plan".
I had been using Airtel Services since 2 years and had been paying the charges on time.Being an old customer, my request for compensation on the charges is not being granted.Inspite of calling the Customer Care Unit everyday regarding this matter, the Unit is not responding properly.Is this the kind of service Airtel gives to its Customer who has been paying bills regularly since 2 long years ?
I am ready to pay the bill for the other calls I made but I am just requesting compensation for the call charges to my new Sim Card number( got through new Hotline Plan).I dont want to change my number but I also wont pay the charges which are wrongly charged to me.
I hope my request will be considered and please reply me as soon as possible.Hope that you will take right steps within a small span of time and oblige me.

We have few complaints. We have brought there in the notice of your concerned person but nothing has been done so far.

Complaints are:

1. We have been charged Rs. 2000/- (Rupees Two thousand) extra for S.M.S. (They should
have charged Rs.30/- (rupees thirty only))

2. Security deposit of my mobile no. [protected] has not been refunded so far.

Please do the needful.

i wana discard my number b cose my deta card USB is missing
i was using airtel prepaid cannaction.now, i have closed my cannaction with full payment and thepayment receved dipartment says my bill is due after the closing cannaction.how can it's possible.i will not pay any amount.please clear all the problems. i am not using this cannaction for last to last month.
i had called the customer care executive twice but i was not answered satisfactorily and once i was even answered that 'systems are down so call later'. I think customer satisfaction is completely avoided.
i want to discontinue 64611010 and +58243 services... as simple as it is.every now and then Rs 10 are charged to me and i cant tolerate this.i have bought mobile for work purpose and i dont combine work and play.

Airtel Postpaid — Wrong Information

Dear Sir,
I have closed my airtel number ([protected]).on Dec-2008. At that time my every bill was clear and now from Feb -2009 i get a call from Airtel side in every month, that you are in our defaulter list and your unbilled pay is 76000/- . I talked to Airtel more than 3 -4 times regarding this .but after some time they call me again and again
So Pls help me .I am sick of it .

the above connection was taken by me through your vendor m/s aman photostat, varun path, mansarovar jaipur & the company's representative mr. rajesh attended to explain the plan and receive the filled in form. he assured us that the discounted sms facility will be activated by him and that sms charge will be billed at discounted rate. on receipt of my last bill, i found to my surprised, that the discout for the sms charge has not been extended to me. i had also apprised your local office with this complaint with no satisfactory result.
i therefore request you to credit the excess amount charged in my account in the last months bill and extend the same in my future bills.

i need my cug connection bill out going and incoming details. my global kids company numbers are [protected], [protected], [protected], [protected].
Asked for disconnection but charged advance rent for next two year and now sent to legal cell for recovery.

I had mobile no. [protected] advance rental plan for one year. Before completion of 1 year I had called to customer care and asked for disconnection, but we get the bill with next two year advance rent charged, however my connection has been disconnected.
I had lodged my complaint in customer care and then the nodal officer. Nodal officer had suggested me to pay the only call charges and the charge levied for next two year will be waived off. I paid the call charges accordingly.
But to our surprise today I got a call from some lawyer office regarding the recovery of charges levied for next two year.

Is there my fault to have a airtel no. Now i suggest to all not to take any airtel no.

Please look in to the matter and do the needful.

Airtel — bill not receiving from last 1 year

Yes I am agreed with this complaint.

I have been facing this type of problem with Airtel for my Airltel # [protected]
I have logged complaint to give me discount of Rs.125 for value added charges was wrongly charged but not yet receive any update on this.
I have also logged a complaint to change my bill plan Airtel 199 from Airtel 444. I logged a complaint on 30th of March but not yet resolved.

Airtel — wrong information provided by cust care & got charged for that

My mobile number [protected].

I had activated GPRS (mobile office) service on 02.06.09 at 9.54pm. I used it for two days & been charged Rs.50 for the same. On 04.06.09 it was not renewed as I was not having sufficient balance. As I got the msg that service can not be renewed due to insufficient balance I thought service is de-activated. I recharged my no on 05.06.09 at 12.34pm but didnt get msg that service is renewed. I got charging msg on 05.06.09. When I called cust care, they said this service was activated on 06.06.09 at 9.54am. So I kept it active for using it for 06.06.09 & will de-activate it on 07.06.09 before 9.54am as I was informed from cust care (abt activfation time).

I have been charged Rs.25 excess due to wrong info provided by cust care.


I want Rs.25 to be credited to my account as it was charged to me because of wrong info from cust care.

This in regards to the outstanding bill of my airtel mobile no:[protected]
I have been using this no: for the last one year and now I really regret having it.
My issues are as follows: -

1. Despite of placing a request at 121 more than 20 times, the bills are not delivered at my postal address.

2. The address change has taken place after 6 months of our movement.
I had submited an application at your Airtel office in Sector 18 and had placed a Request at 121 also several times. You can check the cal logs against my mobile number.

3. No information was provided at the time of activating Rs 350 local calls pack .
I haven’t received any call regarding this, thus no confirmation.
The prove to this is, You can check my bills for the last one year, its very rare that I make local calls . Most of the calls made by me are STD.
If at all you guys say a confirmation was given I would like to hear the call .
Your executives do anything for the heck of earning incentives and perks.

4. I taken a no rental plan, at the time of taking the connection I wasn’t informed
that i need to renew it every year . The year cycle ended in April, At your own
glory, my plan was changed to a monthly rental of Rs 399.

5. I had been promised to receive a settlement letter by one of your executive, who
had come for collection of bill, haven’t received anything as yet .

6. My number has been deactivated, even the incoming without any prior notice .

And as a Resoultion they send an Auto generated mail saying that there bills are generated by very efficent softwares, so prblem could be there in billings.
They , Customer care guy doesnt know that the confirmation of activating a bill pla is given and taken by humans not machine ..

It clearly states that they never read my mail, and just sent me a pre typed mail ...

Airtel Customer Care Services are really very horrible.

My company deposited the out standing payment by check on 25/06/2009 but when I have spoken with your custmour representative, he told me that no check has been deposited by us. Thats why again we deposited the outstanding amout( more than that) by cash in your office on 30/06/2009. now I don't have any out standing balance to pay. Right now I am in France due to some work. But here my mobile still not working.
I want to know what it is the reason behind my problem?
For your information my mobile was working in intenational roaming before. So please solve my problem as soon as possible.

Bharti Airtel Limited / Airtel Sim Cards — Bills not delivered on Time and Wrong Bills Charged

Despite of sending mails and logging complaints on 121 as well as with your Airtel Gallery, there is no response from your side. The service level given by you to me is more than a “THIRD CLASS”
I have done the analysis of the bills received from the billing cycle (11-Feb[protected]Mar-2008) to (17-May[protected]June-2009). I have found out that the detailing billing and the summary billing was having differences which amounted to Rs. 1, 681/- (Rupees One Thousand Six Hundred Eighty One Only). Secondly I have still not received the feedback for which I have logged a call 2 years back (i.e. in the year 2007 August). I had taken 2 more connections of Airtel in the name of my wife (Mrs. Shilpa Jayant Pandit), the plan applied and delivered to me was different, in that case I had refused to accept that. Still your company has deposited the cheques and was cleared from back amounting to Rs.1, 200/- (Rupees Twelve Hundred Only). Actual refund to be claimed from your is Rs. 1, 681/- + Rs. 1, 200/- = Rs. 2, 881/- (Rupees Two Thousand Eight Hundred Eighty One Only). I have marked the mail copy to TRAI so that they can help me out in this matter.
