I have recharged Rs. 98 for our mobile based PC internet connection . B ut whenever I used it, it is not connected and showing PACKET DATA NOT CONNECTED, Previously our mobile was working well, but now, i am facing this type of problem. Our mobile no. is-[protected]. If setting may be malfuncting then provide internet setting in said mobile phone. I have installed NOKHIA PC SUIT and tat is working well.

Airtel Prepaid — Charged 75Rs for an app

I was browsing a website using Opera mobile browser on my phone when i clicked on a google ad. The ad was about free apps from wap.indiatimes.com. As soon as i clicked i got a msg from Airtel that i have been charged Rs 75 for Love Meter! Why the hell there was no confirmation.

Ok, i clicked the link, now at least i should get what i have been charged for. now as i clicked download button, got an error stating:

"Sorry. The content is not available for phoneOpera."

the address of download page is: 202.46.200.191/nok/google13/slp.jsp?lpf=google13/content.jsp?id=1&id=1&g...⇄

i tried downloading the app from another default browser but nothing happened. This however, does not mean i accept that it is my fault that i clicked that ad. it did not stated 75Rs will be charged at all.

the license of this fraud company should be immediately canceled as it fools thousands of its customers daily. I will soon switch from this crappy Airtel. Thank god, the no. portability is out now.

i don't receive any pop up when i ended my call.my complain no. which i got from your customer care executive is[protected] on12th feb 2011.pls gave any action for it otherwise i stop the number.my mob no. is-[protected] and another no. is-[protected].my e-mail address is [protected]@indiatimes.com

It has happened with me twice, I completely agree with Airtel's seemingly profit making ways. I guess its of no use to complain, rather change connection, because they won't work on it to return the money.
