[Resolved] Airtel Tamilnadu / Prepaid — excessive charging | |
Airtel in Tamilnadu charges for the usage of 58 seconds as 2 minutes. Only upto 57 seconds Airtel charges for 1 minute. If the customer makes a call and speaks for 1minute and 58 seconds he is charged for 3 minutes. I made several complaints to the customer service of the AirTel, but no action has been taken to rectify the defect in evaluating the charges. This kind of charging is adopted for all calls including ISD & STD. I don't know why Airtel considers usage upto 57 seconds alone is chargeable for a minute & usage of 58 seconds is chargeable for 2 minutes. Should the customers be penalised for patronising Airtel & expecting fair billing from them for their usages? Was this information helpful? | |

Im using past 4 year in ur network.In my home place more signal problem.. I complaint more than 40 times.. But im not get the solution.. so we planed to change the aircel..we using 10 members in my CUG ... my number is[protected]..My mail id sivam.[protected]@gmail.com...im waiting for ur reply other wise im changed my group network airtel to aircel by using portablity

I agree airtel sucks, worst customer care from airtel chennai . i m from delhi and once taken up a airtel number in chennai i will never be in airtel network any more . they just activate services on there own and take our money and once you complaint they say they will get it corrected but no response again

hello i am RAMESHKARTHIK from coimbatore. Every time airtel was changing their call rate plans. On [ 4. 05. 2011 ]may month. My out going call cost was increased . Then i called to customer care number, but there is no response. I call again and again.but i didnot connected to customer person, only computer voice. Then i plan to change my number to another network. Then airtel was announced a new plan .it was airtel to airtel 10 paise.and airtel to other mobile at 10 paise.but finally i found that it was faked message. AIRTEL IS VERY VERY WORST SERVICE COMPARING TO OTHER NETWORK.

My name is Arul Silin Ninchal, I am with airtel service for more than six years. Here the problem is ineffectiveness of customer service, my airtel number is [protected], from this it is very hard to reach the customer service, so I tried from another number (i.e.) [protected], the representative transfers the call to his supervisor, I am waiting online for more than 45 minutes, but no one turned back, once again I tried from my number it has been blocked
My complaint is that, on 24th of last month approximately they have taken around Rs.50 for data usage even though I had sufficient data balance, I called for refund and they assured for refund, but I didn’t received it, like wise on 31st of May they have charged 30 without my authentication, the representative assured me I will refund it, till no use, then I send port message to change the network then somebody contacted me and told me I will refund and gave some offers inorder to hold me. I had some questions to Airtel
1. Being a prestigious institution why they are behaving like this? (many of my friends having these complaints)
2. Why it’s hard to reach customer service?
3. Why they are making the customer to wait for such a long time? 45 minutes
4. Why customer service ignoring the customers & irritating?
5. How to claim the compensation for that?
6. Will I get solution ?
