I have an salary account in Axis Bank and they have deducted Rs. 750/- alongwith 12% service tax from my account without informing to me. Because in salary a/c there are not any charges for Bill Desk type transcation. How can they deduct this amount from my account and why it was deducted. I am looking for a satisfactory answer as I am feeling cheated and would like to close this account immediately.

    I have applied for a Gold Plus Visa - Credit Card (No.[protected] of Axis Bank during the month of May 07, which was also attached with my salary account with Axis Bank. At the time of filling of form it was assured by your representative that no Joining fees or A.M.C. will be charged and the card will be free of cost as I am operating salary account with Axis Bank. During the submission of Form, it was clearly mentioned over the Form that it is free of cost and no AMC will be charged over it.
    I surprised to see the Joining fees + Service Tax Rs. 1685.40 in my first account statement. When I try to contact the representative, it was informed that he has resigned from the Bank. During the discussion with Customer Care of Bank, it was assured that as Triveni has corporate tie up with Axis Bank, hence the same charges will be write off. After getting regular assurance by various Axis Bank officials I used the card for 4 months and made timely payment of my purchases.
    After so many request with various officials of Axis Bank, when the problem was not resolved I made a purchases of Rs. 4, 772/= during the month of December 07 and no hold the payment. During the month of March 08 Rs. 724.49 was debited to my salary account with out infroming me. After than I stopped all the transaction of my salary account.

    From last one year Axis bank officials and recovering agencies are persuing to pay the undue balance and are not taking any interest to setoff the account. Now when I applied for another credit card and house loan it was informed that we can not process the same as your name is in outstanding balance list of Axis Bank

    I further forward my problem to Customer Service Desk of Axis Bank. After my assurance that I am interest to pay my purchases they forward the mail to their collection Team. From Collection team, I received a call in which they started bargain and want much more than my purchases ammount. When I refused to pay more, I received a message from Customer Service Desk that due to bank policy they are unable to offer the settlement.

      non delivary of monthly account statement

      I am maintaining a current a/c at AXIS BANK, Nabapally branch, Barasat and my current account number is-[protected] ; name-GODHULI ENTERPRISE.Since opening of the said account I am not getting any statement regarding the account.Several times I informed the Bank officials regarding the matter but still now I am not getting the account statement. Moreover the AXIS BANK is deducting Rs.400.00 per month as per Consolidated charges for a/c...

      HERES A COPY OF MAIL I WROTE TO AXIS BANK:
      Sir,
      I have a power salute A/C number [protected] with your Cuffe Parade, Mumbai branch. I have a Gold Debit Card number [protected] on thin account.While applying for this card i was told tht there is a reward card point system on this card by which i can accumulate 1 point for each Rs 100 spent.
      I had accumulated more than 1300 points on this card. But when i went to claim these points i was told tht i had to call phone banking for this. I contacted phone banking numerous number of times and given a request at your branch also. bot i have never ever got the gift vouchers and never ever got a favourable reply from ur executives at bank.
      If this is what commitment means to you people then i would rather request you u STOP givin these commitments.. I am also forwarding a copy of this mail to Editor, The Times of India and Hindustan Times so that such thingd comes to the notice of all the citizens of India and they are not CHEATED in the similar manner tht i got chested by you crooks.

        I have Axis Bank Salary Account from last 3 years. On 30th of March 2009 Axis Bank had levy a sum of 800 Rs (with service tax) and debited it from my account with out my concern. After asking the reason from the employee of the axis bank, we came to know that there are some new guidlines pass by the RBI on Salary account that there will be only 3 transaction allowed in a month effective from 1st of January 2009 . After which every additional transaction including the cash withdrawal from the axis atm will be charge Rs 50 per transaction plus a service tax on it.
        On enquiry with other bank, we came to know that there are no such guideline given by the RBI.

        Same thing happened with me. I have a salary account with Axis Bank from last 5 years. Axis bank also charged me Rs 950 (including service tax) on 30th March 2009 for the quarter[protected] to[protected]. On enquiring, I was also informed that only 3 transactions are Free per month (excluding ATM Cash Withdrawals) and rest are charged @ Rs 50/transaction.

        What would be the solution now?

        I am also facing the same problem. I asked in mail. i received the reply as below

        On scrutiny of your account being a salary account only salary credit on regular basis month on month and the withdrawal of the funds for your personal use is the facility provided. But huge no of credits followed by debits are done in the account apart from salary credit. Hence transaction charges are levied in the account.

        if they charge anything, they have to inform their customers before earlier. can we raise complaints in axis bank.

        Who will help us.
        Yes I have a salary account with them from December 2005. I was charged till date 337+710 (inclusive of service tax of 10.30% in month of Jan 2009 and March 23 2009) on the transactions conducted. When I enquired their officials, they reasoned out that the due to the type of account I hold, they are charging it and said those charges are in effect from October 2008. Do not know if RBI directed them. I am still pursuing the case.

        I could succesfully manage to get a reversal of only 337/- till now after 2 months of fighting. I still need to recover the 710/- charge. I will be happy to share how I recovered the remaning charge once it is reversed. On the 337/- one, I asked their officials, they said they sent letters (hard copy) to all customers to which I said I was not aware of. After getting those charges reversed they also said no more consolidated charges and after reversing the initial amount, they again charged 710 (knowingly which is ridiculous).
        Same thing happens to me. they have debited Rs. 500 in my account on 4.04.09 for 10 transaction @Rs. 50.00 per transaction
        Shame on Axis bank now it is becoming worse then icici
        Yes . I also faced this problem . Also I had a long time thought to close this account reason being for poor customer service . Now I decided to go for closure .
        I think Icici is better than Axis for 100 % sure ..They know some knowledge about what is going with the Transctions . Better to Close Axis account and to Go for HDFC

        Dear Sir

        I have an Axis Bank Salary Account. I was not operating this account for last 2 years.
        There was no amount in this bank.3 days back I got mini statement from ATM,
        Rs 1700.00(approx) cash have been debited from my account in five transactions.
        How can it possible to withdraw cash from that account having zero amounts? I had contact to concerned person, but didn’t got any proper response.
        I am not sure is this policy of Axis bank or burglary made by axis bank employee.

        I am not sure to close this account we will have to do something or previous employer will intimate corresponding bank.


        Please advise.

        1. What would happen with the existing Salary account, incase the account holder has joined a new organization after working in previous company for 1-2 years.

        2. Salary account does not require a minimum balance but if the person has joined a new company then what would be the minimum balance in that account to avoid additional charges.

        3. What is the procedure to close AXIS bank salaried account.

        4. What is the customer care email-id to get above queries resolved.

        Axis Bank — A HUGE SUM AMOUNT DEBITED FROM MY ACCOUNT

        I have written following letter to the manager about my complain

        I am a customer of Axis Bank, Barakhamba Branch, Statesman House, New Delhi, My Account No. is [protected]. I am a customer of Axis Bank from more than one year. I have already gone through many unsatisfactory act by you to me. But This time , what you people have done to me is shameful & insane. You have deducted a huge sum of money which is Rs. 1150 & Rs.118 service tax. and you have given it a fictitious name CONSOLIDATED charges. This amount has been deducted from my Account on 27th March 2010. Before that I was never informed about any that kind of charge (CONSOLIDATED charges) via phone, sms, letter, or in person. So, You have no right to deduct such a huge amount from my account without giving any prior information. No any other bank deduct any that kind of charge. and Its not even legal under the directive of RESERVE BANK OF INDIA. I am making very humble request to you that please reverse the amount Rs. 1150 & Rs.118 service tax with in three working days to my account. or I am going to sue you in the court for this shameful act and mental shock given to your innocent customer. At least you people must fear god a little. finally there will be a judgment day one day.

        Yes I do agree with all of you. They are frauds and big cheaters. We must try to bring them under the hands of law. I also purchased that spy cam pen with bill dated 10/5/2010. The name of web site was SPYCAMINDIA.COM and the bill was issued by HEALTH BIZZ INDIA, DELHI 110007. They assured original japan made pen but the pen i got was duplicate one. The product does not record voice and date display over the video clips cannot be changed. I contacted them over for phone to make complaint over this shortcomings. But the denied to attend complaint over phone and told me to send sms and i was informed that they would accept complaints only through sms. Then i sent sms . But no reply was there. Again i contacted over phone. The call was attended by a fraud person. He told they wont accept complaints over phone and it will be accepted only over emails (the interesting thing is there is no email address available in their web site and the only thing available is a space provided for making orders where a separate column available for give details of orders). I told him about my last call and the sms i sent. But he was very rude on me and told we people should not have directed you to send sms for making complaint. Anyway at last i send email by using the space provide for submitting orders in the web site SPYCAMINDIA.COM. And immediately on sending the email i contacted the person over phone and i was told that he was going through the mail and necessary actions would be taken within 2 days and i would be contacted over phone in this regard. But no one contacted me. Again i gave email to them to get the problems rectified. But all went vain. They are well planed cheaters.

          I have saving account (Customer ID[protected], Arun kumar vaish)with Axis bank last 6 Months. since six months, it is deducting some amount as a service or Consolidated charge.
          Just think, from 010/10/2008 to 31/03/09, bank deducted Rs. 1100 from account. I think this not fair.
          if I mentioned less amount in my account, then how much money would be deduct. is there any rule, or as bank mood.
          Really, I am very disappointed with this bank. need to close the account.

          Yes the bank has charged Consolidated Charges for A/c of Rs.650 & Service Tax @10.30% on Charge Rs. 66.95. To my knowledge the charges will be reversed by bank by 3-4 April 2009.
          Its a sort of way to show inflated revenue i guess...

            To All concern,

            I undersigned holding below mentioned card of your Bank been receiving Bill from your Bank for payment which I have already done to you.

            I have done purchase against the card in Magnet Mall twice in Jan-08 & Feb-08, for which I received Bill for my Jan-08 purchase & done payment thru cheque at Magnet Mall drop box.

            When I did not received bill for the Feb-8 purchase I started calling you customercare for Bill, which was not send to me. After lot of follow-up came to know from your C/s that their systems are

            down & hence they are unable to send the Bills & also came to know that my payment cheque for Jan-08 Bill has bounce due to insufficient cash in my account. When I have checked with my

            Bank they said they have not received the cheque for clearance in the Bank. When I informed that this cheque has not came in my bank for clearance they said they will check & update the exact

            reason, but I did not got any reply. I kept in touch with your C/s Miss Prachi & Neha on Phone no. 40403636 but did not got any respond about the cheque neither of the Bill. Lastly I deposited

            fresh cheque with the Old Jan-08 Bill amount & Feb purchase bill amount at Dadar Axis Bank. Same was inform to your than C/s Manager on the above phone no. Miss Mansi regarding the

            entire issue, she apologized has there was some work in their office hence were unable to send the Bills & said they will take care of the issue after their system will be back in operation. After this

            incident I stop using your card for purchase at Magnet Mall.Later for few month I did not received any bills but again I started getting bill with interest amount for late payment of Jan-08 bill. I

            ignored those bills stating that the system will be updated and I will not received such Bills again, but the bills kept on coming with Interest going up & also started receiving calls for Payment in

            our absent at my resident. When the last bill was refuse and return back, we agains received a call from your customercare & was inform if there is any issue than have to visit your branch at

            Apsara Theater & meet Mr. Samir Bhagat & settle the issue personally. When we visited the branch on 16th March 09 Mr. Samir was not in the branch & is assistant Mr. Vijay Mate (Mobile no.

            [protected]) attended us & noted all the details said he will explain the issue to Mr. Samir & revert back to us & henceforth we don't have to call anyone. Mr. Vijay called up in the evening again

            saying that we have to call C/s for this query, When I called C/s on Phone no. 25260501 provide by Mr. Vijay, whenever I called was attended by different people given them all the details of the

            issue they ask me to hold has they will check & get back, but after sometime the phone line used to get disconnect, I spoke with 5 different people given him same details again & again, but the

            same thing kept on happening the c/s person taking details & asking me to hold & the line getting disconnected. I again called Mr. Vijay & told him the same he said he will send mail regarding

            this issue to C/s & will revert when they will get any feedback. Yesterday when I called him again he said they have not received any revert from C/s or else I can talk to Mr. Samir on the same.

            Than I call Mr. Samir (Mobile[protected] he said I this issue is not under is control I have to call c/s & get the issue shorted I took you mail Id from him hoping that some body will ready &

            attend my issue.

              Respected Sir,

              I have a savings bank ac in

              AXIS Bank, Palarivattom
              AC No. [protected]

              On 17th March 2009 it had balance of Rs.40, 839.00

              But on 20th March 2009 Rs 40, 000 has been transfered to some unknown ac. without my knowledge.

              I have already issued a cheque of Rs 36, 500 which was submitted on 23rd March 2009 and it returned due to insuffient funds.

              The drawee informed me about this on 24th March 2009 and i contacted the my bank and i was told that there about 4 same incidents happened and bank is investigating about it. And the bank to know about it on 20th itself and they have freezed the iconnect facility.

              But when i contacted the bank recently they are telling i am responsible for it.

              But when the bank itself is admitting more than one incident has happened, How i am responsible for it.

              Therefore i request you to kindly investigate the matter since it seems i lost my money.

                I was having Axis bank Credit Card Bearing No: [protected].
                In the month of Sep 2008, I dropped a cheque for the bill of Aug 2008.They received the cheque Unfortunately they have not realized the cheque and there is no information regarding that.
                In the first week of OCT 2008 they informed me about not payment. When I told about the payment through cheque, they confirmed me that cheque is with them.
                In Sept 2008 bill (raised in OC 2008) they levied a penality of Rs 250/- towards non payment of Aug bill.
                When I Requested them over phone they confirmed that the penality & intrest will be reversed accordingly and asked me to pay remaining. I paid the bill except penality and intrest.
                Problem started from there, They have not reveresed the penality & Intrest leived.
                Since then I Stopped using the cards and requested through mails in Nov 2008, Dec 2008 and Jan 2009 for reversal of penalities and intrests.
                But no positive responce received.
                finally I mailed them to terminate the account and I Cut the card and dropped in ATM and intimated the same in Jan 2009.
                Then I received an SMS from Bank Stating my Credit Card Services are temporarily unavailable.
                But still every month they re go on building penalities over penalities and intrests which is making me uncomfortable

                      i have a credit card since the year 2006 of axis bank and at the time of november i was completely close my credit card with full payment and adjustment that was proof of papers i have that prooves the payment of adjusted n i was given them payment by cheque mode.Now the problem is that sine january 2009 i have getting a calls from the bank recovery n they are regularly misbehaving with me n my family. Thats by i am suffering from seviour extortion n mental torture as well as deformation also in front of my neibhours.this time i am not attaching the documents but if i'll getting your reply i'll send you the whole documents.

                      Take down the calls name and the number from where you receive that call and inform them that you are going to complain to the police.

                      never trust a axis bank collection executive .we are not using the credit card for long one year from date we received .so we thought of closing the credit card account. we complant them so many times but no response.after long tinme they sent a statement said to pay rs 1000for annual fees. and on man a cllective came and speak with us we told our status.then he told to pay Rs 260/-and he graranted he will close the account.now after one month time anaother statement came mentioning that you have paid only monthly due .so pay the full amount and they have put the fine of Rs 300+ +.
                      so if you are applying axis bank credit card kindly besure that you have lots of money to pay for them as fine and fees.

                        i have been calling to customer care to send the bills, but we have onot recd any bills and diconnected the services, when we called to the customer care one person telling that alreday the bills are delivered and the another one is telling that there is no requst for u to send the bills etc.

                        Sir, Axis bank machine is not suitable for all merchant, their load capacity is very low, if you have done Rs. 20, 000/- and above transaction, they hold the payment and thrending to pick up edc machine, and also their breakdown service is not good,

                        I do have complaint about AXIS BANK, i request you never get an edc machine from them. recently on 29th Oct 09 i swiped 40000 then they hold the payment. after they called me it is for verification. even after submitting the documents like bill, edc charge slip, then customer id proof. then told me one of his executive came to my office he could not find the axact location and no board, first of all he never turned to our office. just he called after telling as already we submitted the documents to bank on MG Road EDC branch. he disconnected the call. they blocked took the edc machine in Bangalore. still i have to get the payment credited to my account. so if anybody is looking for edc machine from axisbank. please go with some nationalised banks. so i request you once again never think about AXIS Bank. they even charge more.

However, it was repaired by the personnel of Venture InfoTech on 06/09/2010. But on 08/09/2010 it got collapsed again and remained unperturbed since then as no person turned up from the aforesaid company to repair it despite our numerous requests.

                          I am having salary account in Axis Bank in Secunderabad Main branch since October, 2006 and my account no. [protected]. In the month of Sept. 2008 some amount is deposited into my account from unknown account. in this regard, i had given a complaint and authorisation to bank people to deduct the amount and deposited into victimised account mean while Bank people stopped my transaction. In the month of October, 2008 Bank people deducted the unknown amount and deposited into victimised account. But, I am unable to do transaction with my account till date and I am having Rs.18, 000/- in my account. In this regard, once again I have submitted one more requestion letter to bank people to enable my account transactions as soon as possible.

                            I have availed home loan from Axix bank, Nasik and my home loan a/c No. is given above.

                            My loan was sanctioned on[protected] on the basis of submission of original agreement to sell and other relevent papers and an amount of Rs. 197546/- was disbursed to me on[protected] through two payorders/cheques and the third pay order/cheque of Rs.337454/- was disbursed to me on[protected], the day sale deed was executed and handed over to the bank.

                            However to my surprise, the bank charged Pre EMI interest on my Total amount of loan i.e 5, 35, 000/- from[protected].

                            Axix Bank Nasik has replied to my letter saying that disbursement request was given by me on[protected], and therefore Pre EMI interest is charged from that date. It has also accepted that the pay orders were dusbursed to me on[protected] and[protected]. Here I wish to say that I have paid the processing fees to the bank for my loan and if the loan was sanctioned on[protected]. that means the bank authorities were satisfied with the documents submitted by me till[protected] and then only my loan account was opened/sanctioned. Then the pay orders for my total amount as per my request should have been handed over to me on[protected] but in its reply the bank also says that since the bank needs security i.e Sale Deed Copy which was executed on[protected], it did noyt hand over the third pay order before that.

                            The bank has charged excess Pre EMI amount from[protected], whereaas it shoud have charged the same from[protected] for Rs. 197546/- and for Rs. 337454/- from[protected] and I therefore request the bank to refund the excess amount charged from me.

                              TAKE HOME LOAN FROM AXIS BANK AND " GHUM TE REH JAO GE ON THE AXIS "

                              WE HAVE UNFORTUNATELY TAKEN A HOME LOAN FROM THE AXIS BANK WAY BACK IN SEP / OCT 2006. HOME LOAN ACCOUNT NO [protected]

                              WE HAVE A NUMBER OF OUTSTANDING ISSUES REGARDING MY HOME LOAN WHICH I HAVE ASKED THE BANK FOR REDRESS THROUGH PERSONAL REPRESENTATION IN THE OFFICE OF MR MANISH GUPTA, AXIS BANK [HOME LOAN DEPT], BHANDARKAR ROAD, PUNE IN DEC 2007 AND THROUGH REPEATED EMAILS TO - AXIS RAC <Customercare.[protected]@axisbank.com>; ANIL DIGHE <anil.[protected]@axisbank.com>; Manish.[protected]@axisbank.com; SINCE THE EARLY 2008. TILL DATE NO RESPONSE HAS BEEN FORTHCOMING !

                              THE ISSUES ARE ENUMERATED BELOW

                              NO RESPONSE FROM AXIS BANK, HOME LOAN DEPARTMENT, ON THE ISSUE OF : -

                              A> WRONG CALCULATION OF INTEREST ON HOME LOAN - THE CALCULATION SPREAD SHEET WAS GIVEN BY ME ON TWO OCCASIONS TO MR MANISH GUPTA - I PERSONALLY LOADED ON HIS COMPUTER ONCE.

                              B> WRONGLY ROUNDING OFF OF DECIMAL PLACES AND CLAIMING IT TO BE A RBI DIRECTIVE. THE COPY OF THE DIRECTIVES WAS REQUESTED - BUT TILL DATE THAT HAS NOT BEEN GIVEN.
                              AND THE SAME ISSUE WAS CHECKED WITH THE AXIS BANK [SAVINGS BANK ] - WHO AGREED WITH MY CASE.

                              C> NOT INFORMING AT ALL OF THE CHANGE OF RATE OF INTEREST - HENCE DEPRIVING ME [THE CUSTOMER] OF THE CHANCE TO CHANGE / REVISE MY [HIS] EMI AND HENCE MAINTAIN THE TENURE OF LOAN - HENCE CAUSING A LOSS

                              D> THE INTEREST IS CALCULATED ON THE NUMBER OF DAYS IN THE MONTH [INTEREST * NUMBER OF DAYS IN A MONTH / NUMBER OF DAYS IN A YEAR]. 2008 BEING A LEAP YEAR AXIS BANK HAS CALCULATED THE INTEREST FOR THE MONTH OF FEBRUARY FOR 29 DAYS, BUT……….. THE DENOMINATOR WHICH ALSO HAS TO CHANGE TO 366 INSTEAD OF 365 HAS NOT BEEN DONE – THIS SUITS THE BANK AS IT COLLECTS INTEREST FOR ONE EXTRA DAY – THIS PROCEDURE HAS BEEN CONFIRMED BY AN EMAIL SENT TO ME FROM AXIS BANK. THIS AMOUNTS TO ABOUT RS 480 ODD IN MY CASE! IMAGINE THE QUANTUM IF YOU CONSIDER ALL THE LOAN ACCOUNTS THE BANK HAS. THE AMOUNT OF GAIN IS COLOSSAL / HUGE - CONSIDERING THE NUMBER OF PEOPLE EFFECTED.

                              E> CLAIMING THAT THE CORRECT ADDRESS WAS NOT AVAILABLE WHEN THE SAME WAS GIVEN AT THE TIME OF APPLYING FOR THE LOAN AND SUBSEQUENTLY THE REVISED COMMUNICATION ADDRESS WAS PROVIDED ALONG WITH MOBILE NOS AND LANDLINE NOS.

                              F> CLAIM BY MR MANISH GUPTA THAT - THE BANK CANNOT AND WILL NOT RESOLVE THE ISSUE AND THAT I [THE CUSTOMER] CAN KEEP TRYING TO FIGHT IT OUT, THE BANK HAS THEIR LAWYERS TO DEFEND AND FIGHT FOR THEM

                              G> LASTLY - NOT CARRYING OUT DOWN WARD REVISION OF ROI AND MAINTAINING A HIGHER ROI, WHICH IS AGAINST WHAT WAS TOLD AND DISCUSSED WITH ME WHEN THE LOAN WAS SOLD TO ME, THAT THE MARKET RATE OF INTEREST WOULD BE MAINTAINED, BOTH WAYS. IT IS PERTINENT TO MENTION THAT ALL UPWARD REVISIONS WERE VERY PROMPT - THAT TOO WITHOUT EVEN INFORMING ME.


                              H> I HAVE EVEN REPRESENTED MY CASE TO MR ANIL DIGHE WHO IS SUPPOSED TO BE IN CHARGE OF THE HOME LOAN DEPT AT THE AXIS BANK H/O, ALSO REPEATEDLY ASKED HIM FOR THE MOBILE NO AND EMAIL ID OF THE GENERAL MANAGER IN CHARGE - BUT TO NO AVAIL!

                              THESE ISSUES HAVE CAUSED ME IMMENSE HARDSHIP DUE FREQUENT AND REGULAR VISITS TO THE BANK BY MY WIFE AND CONSTANT MENTAL AGONY WHICH DOES AFFECT MY WORK ESPECIALLY AS A DEFENCE PILOT, BESIDES LOSS IN TERMS OF MONEY ON TWO COUNTS - EXCESS INTEREST AND LOSS DUE TO FREQUENT VISITS AND PHONE CALLS.


                              I PRAY THAT THE BANK BE ASKED TO RESOLVE THE OUTSTANDING ISSUES AT THE EARLIEST AND THE BANK BE ASKED TO COMPENSATE DUE TO - THE LAXITY AND IRRESPONSIBLE BEHAVIOUR SHOWN BESIDES CAUSING CONTINUED EXTREME HARDSHIP AND IMMENSE MENTAL AGONY - WHICH AMOUNTS TO LACK IN SERVICE PROVIDED ! IT IS ALSO PERTINENT TO MENTION THAT THE BANK APPEARS TO SHOW THAT THEY ARE ABOVE LAW AND CAN GET AWAY WITH ANYTHING AND EVERYTHING.

                                Hi Sir,

                                This is Monica and I am the employee of HCL Technologies, Noida. My company has opened up a salary account for me with Axis bank, (sector-3, Noida). Most of the time I use ATM to withdraw the money from my account. I have unlimited transactions free from other ATM machines using my Axis Bank ATM Card.

                                This morning (4th of March 2009) I tried to withdraw 1000 Rs. from HDFC ATM Machine using my Axis Bank ATM Card, at 9:18 AM, but I got a message displayed "Timed Out" and did not get 1000 Rs from the Machine, I tried the same amount transaction again withing one minute, I got the 1000 Rs but along with that I got a transaction slip stating that Rs. 2000 has been deducted from my account.

                                I called in my bank and they gave me customer help line number that is[protected], I called on this number and talked to a lady named Avinash but they told me that my details are not matching with their database, If my details are not mathcing then how come I am getting my salary debited into my account?????? When I asked for what kind of details she is talking about. she was not ready to tell me.

                                Look at the kind of language used here!!! I could just get a vague idea of what happened. Some had deductions from their account despite a failed ATM. Some had deductions from the account without any valid reason. The bank refuses to co-operate.
                                I am quite used to the idiosyncracies of Axis and I am not surprised.

                                  Hi!
                                  Good Morning sir, let me introduce myself.
                                  My name is Ashok Sharma I work as an ROM for Reliance Petroleum LTD at Daman (U.T.). I am facing a small problem from the Axis Bank Vapi Branch. The detail problem is mentioned under:-
                                   I have been operating the account ([protected]) since 2002 and the balance in my account is Rs 11286/- as on now. On 8/8/08 50000/- Rs. Was wrongly credited to my account and on the same day I was informed by Mr. Gyaneshwar (Manager) about the wrong credit of money. He instructed me to send a letter for the reversal of the payment and the same was reversed on 19th of Sept. 08.
                                   My cheque dated 20/10/08 was dishonoured by the bank and again on 15th of Oct. I got a call from Bajaj Finance Company saying that 2 installment amount cheque of Rs. 2500/- each is dishonoured by the bank stating the account is closed by the account holder.
                                   On the above senior I wrote a letter to the bank on 21st Oct. 08 asking them to reactivate the account on the basis of the communication of Bajaj Finance Company. But regretful answer was received from the bank that your account is Total Frozen and you have to close your account.
                                   Till date my account is blocked and no transaction can be done.
                                  Kindly guide me what I should do in this regards.

                                    had a housing loan in september 2008.since november continuously asking for the certificate for the loan to file in IT documents.But the people in axis bank are least bothered.When they have to offer you a loan then they are after the life of consumers, but when customer asks any documents they just become invisible.
                                    can anybody listen or help.

                                      As I understand, there are two steps in a complete online credit card txn.:

                                      1) Customer instruct a merchant to recover the payment from his credit card by providing the card no., and expiry date.
                                      2) Customer authorises bank to make payment against the claim made by merchant against his card

                                      As per my knowledge and understanding both these steps are must for a credit card transaction to complete. Moreover again as per my understanding this second authorisation is done by one of the following ways, depending on the mode of transaction:

                                      i) Authorisation in case of purchases from shop: is by allowing merchant to SWAP the Card and by signing the receipt generated after swaping as an acknowledgement
                                      ii) Authorisation in case of internet/online transactions: is by way of providing either the CVV No. or the Pin No. which are available only with the card holder

                                      And these authorisation are required to ensure that it is a will full transaction made by the actual card holder and some one else is not misusing the card.

                                      In the transaction under dispute, the first step was completed and then a message appeared stating that now you will be directed to the banks site for completing the transaction as a second step. Before I can be actually redirectedarted to the bank's site, the internet connection is gone and the transaction could not be authorised/completed. Surprisingly the payment to the merchant is still made by the bank. Even more surprisingly this was an international payment of 140 GBP as registration fees to an educational institute as o[censored].K. named "CIMA - Chartered Institute Of Management Accountant" i.e. to say that an international payment is being made without authorisation.

                                      I refused the bank to make this payment of the credit card bill and after I raised this issue as a formal dispute in writing and wrote multiple mails asking for the documents evidensing the authorisation given by me to the bank for making the said payment, which I have never provided because of the network problem and still the payment is made, I don'y know how? .

                                      After reminders through mails and telephonic discussions, the bank has provided the scanned copy of some papers stating that these have established the evidence of me authorising the transaction. On perusal of those paper I come to know that these are the papers produced by CIMA to bank for claiming payment and are evidensing the claim made by "CIMA Global" on the basis of details provided by me. But these are not evidensing the authorisation given by me to Bank to make the payment against my credit card. Bank has never produced any evidence for the authorisation which it can never produce as authorisation was never given.

                                      Considering all this I requested the bank to please close the dispute and provide me a statement showing that there are no dues payable by me against the credit card.

                                      But instead of resolving the issue the bank has debited Rs.1, 218/- to my savings account as late payment charges.

                                      I request you to please help me in the issue and do the needful to close the dispute at the earliest and reversal of Rs.1218/- debited to my savings account.
