[Resolved] Barclays Bank Credit Card — Fraud case | |
I have lost my Barclays Bank Credit Card last year month of November and same time I blocked my card through Barclays Credit Card customer care. After 10 days I got a new card on the behalf of my lost card I did not aware fraud which has been happened on the same day when I lost my card. After 20 days of card lost I got a call from Barclays about my dues which was around 30, 000. After that I talked to customer care 4 to 5 time to know the statuse of my complaint but every time I got a same reply ( Your case in process )and still I haven't got any call from Barclay about my complaint status. And now I am getting call for the payment. This is the way to get money from the CUSTOMER by these Banks. I have been fade up and going to Consumer Court with my problem. still i have not recieved anyreversal & any reply from barclays credit card department after requesting them by mails & phone calls

harassment calls from barclays credit card payment customer service in india from mumbai i recorded the conversation also.i & my family are very much disturbed by this phone calls .
On droppping a my cheque in favour of Barclays Bank PLC, at gangadeshwaram koil street chennai drop box on[protected]. After dropping the Cheque well before the due date bank is continuously sending the statement demanding the Late Fee, tax and Interest. After dropping the cheque how can customer come to know about the cheque? he can know only when his/her account has debited. I had talked to Barclays payment persons many times and customer care also but no body is willing to give some kind of help.
NO ATM CENTRE IN MY CITY
NO BARCLAY BANK IN MY CITY
TOLL FREE CUSTOMERCARE NUMBER IS NOT WORKING
EVEN I TRIED YOUR OTHER CUSTOMERCARE NUMBERS ALSO THEY NOT AT ALL ATTENDING MY CALLS FOR A LONG & I WASTED A LOT OF AMOUNT FOR THAT STD CHARGES
Barclaycard bills online IS NOT TIE UP WITH MY BANK ACCOUNT
CASH COLLECTION EXECUTIVES ARE NOT COMING.
I HAVE ONLY ONE OPTION WHERE I CAN PAY MY BILL AMOUNT IS CHEQUE DROP BOX
PLEASE HELP ME REGARDING THIS ISSUE

barclays offer me loan of 218000/-pre-approved. i aggree for 150000/-only for 24 months emi of 8006/-and toid me that date was finalize after my permission and ECS was signed.
after one month i had a call from customer care that my cheque was bounced . i am shocked to here that cheque was bounced but ecs was not hit my account . i told customer care number of times that ecs was not hit in my account and i am not know my due date for loan and i am not received my statement on time.they told me that we have receiving of ststement deliver on time i told him that send me copy of that pod . till date i am not received pod. after that late payment shown in my statement . i am told number of time to customer care that i am not received my statement on time but they ignore my words. after that i give him request for pre close one and half month back and i am paying him 224000 and mail number of time to high leave of bank and call to customer care number of time about pre-closer but till date no pre-closer was showen in my statement. know suggest me what can i do.

This is Charles from Chennai, I would like to get legal opinion from you regarding my credit card issue with Barclay Bank. Actually I got settlement letter from the bank on 20/03/09 and I have finished my settlement on 21/03/2009 itself, I had given 1 cash payment and 2 Post dated checks and got the receipts from the collection agency, also the 2 checks got cleared, (first check with dated 25/04/2009 & second one with 25/05/09 as per bank request and settlement agreement.
Here first check has been cleared on 27/04/2009 and second check was cleared on 16/06/2009 in my account. But After that I am keep on getting call from the collection agencies and bank and asking the credit card balance (They are telling still there is 35K balance is there), I have the credit card settlement letter and slip and everything but they are telling me that amount is not paid within the date (Check should be cleared may 2009 itself) but they have deposited the checks 2 weeks later, its 200% bank responsibility to deposit the check on time, now they are claiming me to pay the whole balance amount again,
Also they are sending goondas to my home and giving trouble over the phone and sending the goondas to my home, I am really frustrated about this, This is really very bad that asking money even after cleared the balance and settlement has done 1 year before.
Now I would like to go for legal action . Please advice

This is Charles from Chennai, I would like to get legal opinion from you regarding my credit card issue with Barclay Bank. Actually I got settlement letter from the bank on 20/03/09 and I have finished my settlement on 21/03/2009 itself, I had given 1 cash payment and 2 Post dated checks and got the receipts from the collection agency, also the 2 checks got cleared, (first check with dated 25/04/2009 & second one with 25/05/09 as per bank request and settlement agreement.

But After that I am keep on getting call from the collection agencies and bank and asking the credit card balance (They are telling still there is 35K balance is there), I have the credit card settlement letter and slip and everything but they are telling me that amount is not paid within the date (Check should be cleared may 2009 itself) but they have deposited the checks 2 weeks later, its 200% bank responsibility to deposit the check on time, now they are claiming me to pay the whole balance amount again,
Also they are sending goondas to my home and giving trouble over the phone and sending the goondas to my home, I am really frustrated about this, This is really very bad that asking money even after cleared the balance and settlement has done 1 year before.
Now I would like to go for legal action . Please advice

Barclays Bank — CREDIT CARD FRAUD
DEAR SIR,sub: my credit card no -[protected] of barclays bank.
i hold this card since 2008 without any defaults from my side. suddenly bank sends me a letter saying card has been suspended without giving any reason. i have accumulated approx 1000 points but bank says that minimum 1250 points are required for redemption. now as they have suspended my card, my points are wasted. from my side no payment is pending . please help me in this matter.
