Dear Sir / Madam,

I would like to bring to your kind notice that my Barclay Credit Card has been dispatched on 04.02.08 via Blue Dart courier with AWB No. [protected].

This is to inform you that the blue dart courier boy named (AZAD) came to my office at 3:30pm on 11/03/08...i was not available in the office as my office timing is from 5:30pm to 3:30am n i reach my office at 5:00pm sharp...AZAD he left a card with his call back num and awb number with the security guy...as i reached the office security guy informed me about the same...at the same time i called up the blue dart number which azad left fr me...i informed them about my office timing n said them to deliver the card between 5:00 to 6:00pm...the blue dart guy agreed n sd they will send the card again tomorow between the time which i gav them...the nxt day i was waiting fr 5:00pm to 6:30pm but no one came from blue dart to deliver my card...the nxt day when i called them to enquire about my card...blue dart people said, my card is being returned to barclay.

So, Kindly send the same once again along with proper information. Also inform you that my office timings are 9.30am to 6pm. So, this time please mention both the addresses of my house as well as my Office... Below are the addresses:

    I am an IDEA Customer since last 4 years, I had registered under the DO not Disturb with my service provider more than a year back. M/s Barclays bank Since Jan 2008 are continously harrassing me on phone for getting their credit card when i am not intertested, i have made formal complaints to M/s IDEA Cellular Ltd. Through complaint numbers 32288950, 33000926, 34584920, 34636093, I had even contacted the customer care of barclays bank, Had called up the main authorities of M/s barclays bank ltd. to complain regarding the problem but to no avail, i have the details of all hhe calls received from them till date with me. Please let me know how i can get some mental peace from these telemarlketeers is there any way of stopping them ?

    Barclays Bank — harrasment by bank

    Dear Sir
    My name is RAJESH RANJAN and my Barclays Bank credit card no. is [protected]. On August 2008 Bank had offered me Rs. 20,000 loan against credit card for two years at Rs 902 EMI. I agreed and after getting bank draft I had been offered to convert this EMI into ECS. Getting my nod next day bank executive came to me and filled the form. I signed on paper whereever he marked. My ECS been deducted every month regularly. This was never bounced. After three months I was informed to pay Rs 3602.19 immediately. I was shocked and contacted call centre but bank executive disappointed me asking to pay the ammount. He told that my EMI is Rs 1028 and not Rs 902. So to avoid any embarrasing sitution I continued to pay cash amount every month except ECS since then every executive assured me to solve the problem and revert the late fine chrages but noone fulfill his promise. I told them to cancel previous ECS and fill new ECS of Rs 1028 if this type of problem occured. But I think they targeted the customers as golden eggs because whenever I asked them for settlement and I want to pay the total loan ammount at one time they never showed interest in it because I was not agreed to pay late fine charge. Without my default they charges me extra amount every month and tortoured me to pay minimum due. I dont understand how it is possible that still I had to pay total outstanding Rs.19889.87. I had already written them ''I am not responsible for any default and any mistake and I will never pay late fine charges ''. So why I have to pay late payment fee.I paid 14 EMI and except that I paid 10 times cash and cheque. If my calculation is right I paid more than Rs 20k. If I am wrong why dont they send me statement of balance and amount paid by me. They only sent me outstatement balance and in each statement they added the late payment charges which is not justifiable. Furthermore, last month (Dec.2009) too I paid cash payment Rs 1121 their executive on 17 dec. But I will never pay in future if their response not satisfy me. Plz solve my problem to avoid my anguish. The bank everyday calls me 10 to 15 times and reiterates to pay the ammount.

    I have took a personal loan in Barclays with Account Number: LCO[protected] .I want to clear my loan, i need complete details including earlier payments, due amount, check bounced details.Since last two months i have visited your bank at S.R.Nagar, Hyderabad, but Mrs.Akhila at the bank premises said that, she could not retrieve my account details.i am fed up visiting your bank and no one responds.

      Hey,

      This is Shelja Ahuja. I applied for a Barclay Credit Card some 2 months back. I got a message saying that I my card has been dispatched by BlueDart.
      (Application Ref No. [protected])

      However, till date (March 10 2008), I have NOT received any card. Well, on an average I get some 15 calls a week about some due payment (plus approximately some 10 messages a week).Even though I have NOT received the card yet, still these guys expect me to pay some XYZ amount.

      Well, in case you are reading this & planning to get a card from this company, I beg, please do not apply for any card/service of this company.

      Ur lucky my friend they have still not issued u a card, try for some other bank, its the most pathetic service i have seen with my ten yr experience with creditcard companies!!!their call center number doesn get thru, so u can imagine ur state i[censored]r card is lost and their cal center number says this number is busy..all the time!!
      barclaycard is indulged in fraud .They have deducted Rs6000
      towards priority circle without m consent. Nobody answers
      responsibly. I am thinking of moving consumer court. I appeal to all card holders to cancel their cards esmasse and
      teach these fraudsters a lesson.

        Dart .But When the Concerned Person of BlueDart has come to my house at 12.00 I am in Office at that time he went back After

        BARCLAYS CREDIT CARDS — CREDIT CARDS not Recd. and Bill due Recd.

        On Jan.25, 2008 i recd. a call from Blue Dart that where to deliver your barclay credit card, i said on my resident but they found my residential adress different and send those credit card back to Banks Office Chennai which i came to know after several follow ups.Then i recd. a bill of due on cell(message) which i rejected doe to its non delivery.Even i asked there customer care about the credit card no. and they refused to tell.Till 6 Months i recd. message of due. In the due course i mailed my problems with the bank, sometime i was given reply as there is no data matching your name and cell no.One day i recd. mail from the bank for preclosure of outstanding in written.
        Even after that mail i recd. calls from bank for its payment and threatening to put my name in so called Credit Bureau of India.They did that without even delivering the credit card.
        I am having two credit cards of SBI and Citibank and there is no dues with them.

        This is the complete Malfunctioning of Banking structure.

        On 4th of October i have received a letter to my home address with terms and conditions, which also mentions my card number = [protected]. They have also metioned about my last billing. Where as i have not received any credit card from Barclay. Is it a joke if not then whats happening.

        i got the message of my barclaycard has been despatch on 17 oct 08 to my mobile on 21oct 08.         Barclay Times card — Issued card with no charges and after 6 month claiming charges of Rs.6741.60 without diong any transction

          This is to bring under notice to everybody that the Barclays Bank and its customer care with some of its personal loan granting executive are running a racket in Bangalore ( or may be everywhere else in India) and they dupe the people by quoting different interest rate to many loan seeker. After taking all the documents and signature on a loan request form and blank chaques from the loan seeker ( I'm on of the victims) later on they grant the loan with different interest rate ( higher than what they've promised) without informing the victim and deposit to his account.
          After that only way remains to call the customer care but they also know that this is happening ( and apparently they are with them in letting this happen) and they don't help or take the request even after incessant calls.
          The usual trap is low interest rate promised by the executive and he'd tell that in verification call you'd be told about the interest rates. Latter, they transfer the amount to your account after taking off the first installment without any call and approval of terms ( and they don't even send the loan related papers) and from that moment you are in trouble.
          Not only me but there are many persons who have been trapped this way and I came to know this only after falling into this prey. Much to my surprise, the Barclays bank customer care knows this and the whole plot is running under their silent approval.
          With this complaint I want Barclays Bank's higher officials to take necessary action and please take care into my matter before its too late to save the Bank's reputation which is ruined by some of the Bank's own people. Also, I'd like to appeal to all loan seekers to refrain from taking loan from Barclay's bank 'coz it could be a whole lot of trauma to you afterwards.

          it should be taken the the RBI Notice and action to be taken immediatlely against to this other wise .

          I have applied for personal loan in barclays bank 1 months ago.
          after all documents collected by executive, manager said me that give original pan card for 2 two for verification.i have refuse him for pan card.then i have forwarded color scan copy my pan card.
          i have got message like your loan is sanctioned.
          After taking all the documents and pan card and i have give signature on agrrment papers and also given 11 blank chaques 15 days ago.But after signing all document they are cheated every time.15 days left but they did not answer to my question what is the status of my PL .i have give somebody commitment regarding sanctioned loan amount.

          'm very sorry to say that hdfc banks are may be wrong because they are follow up with customers with a proper way. around 10 times and above i got call from customer exceutive regarding personal loan i said yes for all the times but they are interested to take futher and i am getting good salary i can up to 2 lakhs not a problem but i don't know why these exceutives simply called us they wasting time instead they can take it to further.

          atleast i request you exceutive please do your work sincerely with result oriented because your drawing salary and company is taking care of you well.

          i have took loan of 2.24lakc for 6yrs periods.since couple of month, bank is withdrawing loan amount twise in month.there is no any due of my loan amount but still i am getting harsh call from unknown person.

            I have applied for barclays credit card . it has been more than one month and i don't know the status of Application . my all verifications are over. i leave home at 7.30 in morning and reach my home at 7 pm hence i had requested them to hand over my credit card to my office address. even when i call the telecaller, they tell me that i'll call you later and i don't get any call from them. i don't know anything about the status .             This is the second time I'm giving complaint regarding barclay card issue. This is the worst service I have seen ever...
            I didnt recieve my barclay card but I'm getting my monthly bill, I called up customer care 4 times and given complaint about this issue and they didnt take any action against that and moreover they are sending unnessesary SMS to my mobile regarding bill...

I do tried out their phone banking or customer care but no one either receives the call or either it doesnot gets connected i dont know whats the problem with the bank for providing the GOOD service to teh customer
            If such is the case the bank should shut down the shutters of their bank branches

            From last two days some telecallers from your bank calling me for credit card. I said to all of them that i already get call from your bank for credit card & they all said that please give your documents to our executive. I am totally confused that to whom i gave the documents. Today one of executive come from your bank and just take my signatures on some forms, when i asked him about rest of the details, he said that you get a call from bank & they will ask about the rest of the details. But i am waiting but there is no phone call from Barclay bank. The executive which is come for documents asked me to mail my credit card statement(other bank credit card) on some mail id '[protected]@yahoo.co.in' for verification. Also your bank executive doesn’t having any ID Proof of Barclay Bank.

            On same day(i.e. today) i received another 2-3 calls from your banks about the credit card & i said that i already provide the documents to executive, then they are blaming me that why are you provide documents to that executive, we are sending you our executive. Each time a new telecallers calling & saying that we are sending our telecallers. How can i rely on your bank executives.

            I have given my important documents to your executive, i don't know if he is executive of your bank or not. I am already using Credit Cards of ICICI, SBI, UTI & HDFC banks, but i never face this type of inconvenience.

            I am very much dissatisfied from Barclay Bank services. They have to improve their telecallers. I know that Barclay Bank is very Big brand. But these type of inconvenience loose customers. In my office daily your telecallers call for credit cards, but no one is interested in your credit cards, because telecallers does not have ability to convince the customers. They not able to tell the facilities given by your bank's credit card. We have to ask them that what are the features of your credit card.

            I have not been receiving my credit card bills and being asked to pay the bill. For heavens i need to know before i pay - cant pay blindly.

            On repeated calls i requested for duplicate bills - but nothing happened. customer care is really useless.

            you guys have caused immense pain and discomfort to me.
            I have applied for the barclay credit card a month bank. I have already got a call for verification. I have n't recevied my credit card though the executive told me that it will take max 3 week to get your credit card.

            I am trying to reach your banglore office no. but its keeps on coming busy or when the bell rings then nobody bother to pick it up.

            Also the executive's mobile number is coming switch off.

            I don't know what to do now. I haven't even got my application reference. I think i have done a big mistake by applying for barclay credit card.

            Sir / Madam, I am Mu.Thenappan holder of barclays card for the past 4 months, upto date i am receiving the statements correctly and i am a regular payer also. Recently, last month one of a customer care office from priority circle which runned by barclays bank has offered me 30% off for all purchases made in chennai, so for i purchased lot things...but, when i saw my bill its really shocked me there is no discount and when i approach them, they are behaving like rudly and force me to pay the membership fee of Rs.5000 /- with useless offer ! In mean time i contact the banker as well as the priority circle office to waive the amout. But, refused to repay and they told me that they are sending me a trolly bag...its cost of Rs.2000 /- (lying) orginal cost at Saravana store at T.nagar, Chennai aprox Rs.1000 /- only if it was American Tourister or Samsonite...they wont give like that type of travel acces... Now, i dont know what to do ? Kindly send me a solution for this and i also told them i wont pay the amount.
            What to do ? Service is good. But, Please help me !

            I have not received my card for past one year, But I am getting messages from barclays bank to use my card for offers.I have called more than 25 times to customer care and no responce from them.Today I received a letter from barclays on revision of late payment fees structure.So far I have not got a single bill and I do not know if someone is using my card or so...SOME ONE TELL ME WHAT I SHOLD DOO...

            My self Banwari Lal Gupta When i have got call from Barclay’s side that time i have refused for this card but they have told this card is providing you without any document and without any charges. But when I have got this card there they have mention Rs. 4999 Registration fees. I have cancel this card on same date but they are sending me statement every month.

              Hi all,

              I would request whomsoever read this not to go for Barclays credit card.

              Let me start from first. Barclays people called me up and told me that I can get a Gold card and for sure it will get approved within 10 working days and wanted all my docs, hence I gave my ICICI card statement along with PAN card and DL copy.

              15 - 20 days passes by and I do not get any response apart from a single SMS that states about my Ref #.

              In the mean time, I get a call stating that my application has been approved and which type of card would I prefer ? and even that lady told me that I would be getting my card within the next 8 days and after that someone else calls me up and tells me that my card has been approved and whether I require any Insurance ( Health and accident ) on my card and even that Guy assures me that my card is approved. Else what for he needs to call me ?

              8 - 12 days passes by and no response from ' BARCLAYS " hence I sent an Email with my reference number and I get a response like its not approved. The same is pasted below, for your reference :

              I already own 4 cards and I have never received a CATOSTROPHIC customer service as of " BARCLAYS ". Never go for it. Best is ICICI and HDFC.

              Barclays Credit Card — No response after collect the documents

              Hi,
              I have applied for a Barclays cerdit card on the begining of the month february.After that one person came and enquired about my residential status.I got a tele call from a customercare officer from mumbai,she has told me that the card has been approved and offered an insurance package.All these things are happend in a perfect manner but I have not recieve the credit card,when I ask the customer care,They are not having my details in their system.I think these informations are enough to help me.I hope a proper reply from the officials.

              I recieved a credit card from Barclays 2 month back. When i tried to use it my transactions failed.So i called up the customer care and they informed me that the card is wrongly issued to me and they have canceled that card.

              Its really crazy to issue me a card and after issuing cancelling my card.

              The major point is they even did not inform me that my card is cancelled. Why do they issue a card and cancel it.

              Before giving the card they said that i will recieve balance in card 3 times my salary which will be more then 1 lakh and after i recieve a card i found it on 30 thousand.

              Is it not strange they way barclays is dealling with. Issued a card, canceled the card.

              Most horrible service they provide, there should be someone to take action against them.
              Though i was not so interested in Barclaycard because i am already having three cards.But one fine morning one lady called on my mobile that our bank is please to give me a goldcard .She asked me few questions about the cards i am having and told if you are having HSBC credit card with a credit limit of 60000 our bank will provide you card with a credit limit of Rs.2 lakh. She send one executive to coltect the copy of HSBC card, my fresh salary slip, my driving licence zerox. Further he promised me that billing cycle will be at my choise date, i will get free petrol of Rs. 100 and there will not be any charges on purchase of petrol. On going through the brocher received with the card there are charges on purchase of petrol.Looking to all false promises by your representatives Ido not want to be associated with such bank. Guide me to whome/how can i can return the card. It is funny to get a card with a limit of Rs.26000, i am a central Government Gazetted officer and feel insulted. Early action is requested.

              I am from Bangalore. Barclays called me and offered me Credit Card. First I rejected. They called me again and again and I agreed to go for it. They collected all details like PAN card, Signatures, Salary Slip and HDFC Bank Statement.

              I got a call confirming the approval of card and that the card will reach me within 10 days. Since then I have not got any calls. They gave me a gmail id so that I can chat with them of any clarifications. But I tried chatting with them but no reply. I tried calling customer care and initially they used to give me different different numbers.

              The number now I am having is[protected] which for first days I was not getting (always busy). Today morning I tried. It was ringing, but they are cutting the phone (after two -three ringing the ring stops). Or it is busy always.

              I will not suggest anyone to go for barclays credit card for at least another one year.

One day one lady called me and inform me about their scheme that you have been selected to provide two days free stay in any place you will sellect and as and when you plan your visit you should inform us just you have to pay only Rs 500/- at the time of visit. I said ok. After few days on 20.11.2008 I received a Barclaycard Acount Statement Ref. No. [protected] showing the dues of Rs 6741.60 on clarification from M/s Minakshi over phone on 21.11.2008 that I did'nt purchase any thing on what account the dues of Rs 6741.60 lebled on me. She said this is your membership subscription and you have to pay this amount. I requested that I have not applied for any membership and I am not willing to become a member of this scheme, hence you are requested to cancel my membershp and make me free from this unwanted payment dues. She said I am forwarding your requet, You enquire after 72 hrs. I again conted her over phone on 24.11.2008 at about 1045 hrs but she said you have to pay this amount nothng can be done. I requested her to give me contact No. of higher where I can request, she said I ther only higher authority. If you will not pay this amoun on due date you are liable to late fee also.
              It is, requested to the authorities that cancel my membership and make free from this harassment of payment of dues.

Your people approach me for the credit card in month of March and April 2008 and convinced me for the credit card and its benefit that it can help me in my business whenever I need money. Your people issued me credit but the credit limit of this card is very less. The limit of the credit card is 16000 /- which is not enough and useless for me.

              After few days I called your people. They promised me that it will increase with in six month and the capacity of credit card will be increased to rupees 1, 50, 000 /- (rupees one Lac).

I always Pay minimum amount on time. jabki mere paas mere barclays card ke bill bhi nahe aaee. ek baar kisi wajah se mai payment nahe kar paya. too uske baad mere paas barclays collection agents ka call aya. too maine use late payment ka fees pay kar dya... uske baad maine apna minimum payment pay karta raha. ek baar jab maine barclays collection agents se baat kare apne card ka fulfillment karne ko kaha too usne kaha ki mai iske regarding Barclays mai mail Daal deta hoo. phir usne mujhe kaaee din tak call nahe kya than maine use call karke poocha... too usne kaha ki aap ki mai approve hoo gaee hai...mai aapke pass apna executive bhaje dooga... Magar abb woo mera call nahe utha raha or Disconnect bhi kar raha hai. uske baad maine Barclays call kya unhone mera call arrange karane koo kaha magar unke paas se mere paas koee call nahe aya.

                I am agony to say you that there is no proper action taken towards my personal loan. I got approval before 10 days (02/20/2008) and during transfer of money to my account. I got confirmation call regarding rate of interest. Chennai DST confirmed 18.5 % / annum. but During the confirmation they had told me 19 %/annum. so i put in hold. Now i request 19%/annum ok for me. but till now not yet processed. kindly i request you to process my file.

                I am upset regarding this issues:

                What is going on, the loan is already canceled but ECS process also going now, debited Rs.3854/- in my account which is date 05-06-08. I am feel bad regarding this, and i am facing lot of problems. Who is the responsible for this issues the bank make mistakes continuosly.Why? this is my difficult situation, Plz refund (deposit) the amount in my account which is debited and also stop the ecs process as soon as possible, if an cheque bounces in my account the concern team only responsible.                 I am from Hyderabad. Six months back in the month of june- july2008, i got a call from Barclay regarding personal loan, i asked the Barclay executive to expalin me the rate of Interest and how much will be EMI he expalined me everything .The next day again he called me and told my loan is approved all i have to do is i have to give one canceled cheque and signed ECS form. And he told me tomarrow Barclay executive will come and collect this from he the next day Barclay execeative came and collect one cancelled cheque of my savining account of ICICI bank and sign on ECS form but after some days i got a letter from Barclay mumbay that they cannot issue me a loan due to internal poleacy is not met with my application.


                Again after a month i got a call from Barclay for personal loan but i told the execeative i am not interested for any personal loan from Barclay and dont call me again and disconnected the call.


                But yesterday i.e 03/01/2009 nearly after six month of my loan application i got a message at my mobile that 5400 INR is debited from my ICICI personal account in favour of Barclay. I have never taken any loan from Barclay even though they have taken out money from my personal account of ICICI.

                please note am ready to pay the charges but this way your harresing
                then i will file the complaint to consumenr court against your bank
                Please let me know the what excatly happen and i don't wantsphone from
                your collection department

                  I got a call on my mobile number from Vinuta[protected] asking to have Personal Loan from Barkleys Bank; I inform Her that My Mobile number is registered under "National Do Not Call Registry" so do not call me for any offers.
                  And her reply was "Throw your mobile in to River or change your number if you do not want call from us"

                  Too BAD Communication. At the same time there is no place you can complaint for this behaviour.

                  This seems to be BAD impression startup for Barkleys Bank.

                    I have got my credit card but i dont have any information regarding the payment process and neither i have recieved any credit statements. so can you please tell me how will i get in touch with the barclay customer service people so that i can recieve my credit card ststement on mail or in my postal address.
                    Also i want to have internet banking facility. and where will i drop my cheque to do credit card payment.

                    I keep getting on my email when my payment is due.. I have no Idea who this company is...I owe 47. min payment ..I thought it was my Belk credit card all along and ignored it for I usually pay it off monthly the entire balance... I will have to check my credit report now to see what is going on..

                        This is for your kind information.
                        My credit card no. is [protected]. After card received from your side I make 1 transaction of Rs. 327.00/- but due to your payment collection types is very limit than other credit card providers. I am unable to made payment in time frame. After my long efforts/request about fine reversal you are not agree to do it, and my card also blocked from your side. Lastly I made payment through my one friends bank account with all fine Rs. 1100/- and request you to close my card account. After that I again receive SMS from your side my due payment is Rs.314.67 due date is 3 rd March. I requesting you again please reverse this charge, I all ready paid more fine to your bank. If you do not do so, I am also not able to make any payment. You are free for any action on me. I am also move to Indian consumer court as per Indian consumer rights, if you dot reverse your fine from my card. I am mentally disturbed due to your this type of behavior, I am also using SBI and ICICI bank credit card if you want you can check my payment records both bank from last 3 years till date.                         This is zeeshan and I have applied for the Barcaleys credit only because your associates called me and told about the cards and they have taken some of the documents from me which are required for the credit card application and since then I have no response from them.

                        Now, I just want them to contact me immediately about the status of application which I applied for on my number and I it would be [protected].

                        I don’t know why are you so reluctant to give me exact reason for declining my credit card application…

I have requesed for a balance transfer of 5th feb.08 the customer care executive told me that you will be received your balance transfer with in 10 days but till date we have not received the same in this connection we would like to say that i have paid extra 600/- ( due to non receipt of balance transfer in time)on the said card on which I have requested for balance transfer & the interesting matter is that barclays has debited my a/c by 9337.08 & they are not reversing the amount as we have requested for there reversal may times.
                        2.At the time of applying for credit cards the bank representative told that there is no Processing fees on cash withdrawal from ATM & also when we have requested for ATM pin we have asked from customer care executive they have replied the same thare there is no processing fees on cash advance but now they are chagin [protected]@processing fees on cash advance in this connection we would like to say that pls reverse the balance transfer with service tax & interest as we have not received the same & reverse the processing fees on cash advance so that i can clear our outstanding there after we can request for closer/surrender for card account because I am realy fedup from service of Barclays

                        Just to give an overview of the issue, Barclays by mistake sent me a statement that was paid already and this was informed for correct statement.
                        Barclays team have been notified more than 5 times.Barclays took more than a month to send the proper statement.
                        This lead in unwanted intrest and delayed payment charges for which Barclays was responsible.
                        Barclays support, Payment collection and Accounts team do not have a proper syncronization interanlly, They have very poor inter departmental communication which is leading for the customer to suffer.
                        End of the day the complete Barclays support and service is pathetic

                        I applied for a credit card, as a representative from Berkeley bank called me and informed the features of Berkeley Card.

                        I applied for a credit card along with all documents on 28 Nov 2007.
                        after 30 days i got an SMS your credit card application is approved, you will receive your card in 14 days (not sure i think it is 14-28 days only).

                        After 2 months, on Jan 21, 2008 i got a call from Blue Dart Courier. that you received a courier from Berkely bank. I asked that person to deliver it after 6PM, as no one was in my home at that time and my office is too far from my home. he told ok, and waited for him called him thrice, but no response.
                        2 days later i got a call from Berkeley Bank, that the card was returned since i was not there in my home.
                        they again asked me for the address confirmation, again they sent the courier thru Blue Dart Courier.
                        I went to my native, i was in a long leave 5 days, after my return they told they sent the courier back on the next day.

                        The thing is Blue Dart Courier person doesnot know the proper address, even after 3-4 calls, i explained the landmark, he is not able to reach my address. is this a problem of Mine/Blue Dart Courier/Berkely Bank?

                        Week time back executive came to take documents for credit card request . as ask by bank executive he has taken my icici card number by pencil rubbing on plain paper. he also tried to see my cards CVV no. i immeditely asked him about same . he said sorry .
                        then very next day i got sms from icic bank about transaction declined for 2878 due to security reasons . when i contacted icici bank they comfirmed some one tried to book online ticket for air travel . that means exective has made blunder.
                        my request to bank & all of people do not enteratin such people with your existing bank credit card.
                        also bank has to track these type of people who may done some successful transactions using others card . these people making bank image bad in public.

                        This is iniyavan, I am from Chennai. I had bad experience from Barclays.
                        I got call from Barclays club circle. Without my knowledge they simply billed on my card.
                        After I got message from Barclays only, I understand something going wrong. So I called up
                        Customer care on the day 9th apr 2008 regarding cancellation for circle club membership.
                        That girl told me she will take complaint and it will be resolved within 14 business days.
                        I was waited 14 businesses and call later regarding cancellation. But same time they never cancelled.
                        I just keep on calling same issue may more time. Finally I spoke with supervisor he told, he will re-complain for the cancellation. I got call from Barclays on 16th may 2008. They gave me el no :[protected] and I spoke her girl name Uma Lamba, she simply saying “there is no way for cancellation”
                        I told him “ I never offered for this one”. Keeps on she is repeating same “No way”.

                        what step i have to take ? its really Frustration for me.

                        I don't have anything to write bcz in my dictionary worst, bad are only few words for BARCLAY BANK if you want to avoid yourself by cheaters don't go for NAME BARCLAY.

                        I made a first transaction on 04 feb 2008 on BARCLAY Credit Card and after so many follow up i received statement in time. Due date of PAYMENT was 10 march 2008. Finally i made a full chq payment on 07 march and they credited on 17th March. I have proof of payment than also they are saying that i have make late payment and after that i have received five statement and final outstanding was Rs 2657.05 just bcz of late payment as per their record.
                        I have written so many mails, made phone call but problems not solved. Now i am receiving SMS alers saying that your name will be given to Credit Bureau.
                        But Barclays don't that what customer can do. All the statement Generated by them are not as per RBI Guide lines. They can not charge more than 30% interest. Late payment can be only for One time if not paid. I have taken advise of my Consumer Protection Layer and very soon we are going to give them notice and if they will not reply we will file case against them.

But till date I get calls from the customer care division that their is an outstanding amount of 19000.                         Barclay Credit Card — Payment made still they put fine

                        I have taken a credit card on 4/2008 for my personal use, from then i have been paying regularly to bank (except two or three instance). but from last 6 months i have been recving sms that you need to pay or drop you cheq three day before the due day. so i use to put my cheq on 23rd of ever month so do wont have any late payment charges or so.

                        But the checq box where i used to drop cheque is not collected on time. I used to inquired about the same in customer care and i used to give information also that i have deposit cheq at your (sky box at petrol pump kapur bawadi , Ghodbunder Road thane west ) when i have ask the person at petrol pump he clearly told me that the checq is collected every three day.
                        Because of there mistake i have pay fine of Rs.600 and tax every month. Beacuse of this my credit limited is gone on high usage and i have been charged Rs 500 fine.

                        I would kindly informed to look in this issue
                        As i am fedup of this issue after complianing again and again there is no response proper response from customer care

                        Hence i would like to have you intervension in this.
                        Till then i would not pay any fine on the same

                        I'm using Barclaycard from last 3 years ,there is no any outstanding on it,from last 2-3 months i'm not using this card.

                        that's why i'm getting regular phone calls and mails to use this card,and they are pressurisng me to use this card..

                        now i have got a letter from their director that they will charge non-usage fees..

                        I was the card hold of Barclays, my a/c with them was settled in March 2010 (last financial year), but now in the month of September 2010, after 6 months, barclalys bank executive daily calling me and saying we need to settle your account. I have told them that my account with the bank is settled - instead of closing the issue, they all the details from me. I dont understand why Barclays bank is not providing details to there bank excutives. It is totally dispointing.

                          I called HomeShop18 to buy a digital camera through Barclaycard, but after one or two days I cancelled the product and it was informed by the HomeShop18 that your money will be refunded and after 10 days I called to HomeShop18 that whether the money is refunded or not they answer that your product is cancelled and money is refunded to your account. But still from Your bank they are calling and saying that you have purchased a camera please deposit your amount.                               I have applied for the Barclays gold credit card 90 to 100 days ago. after that i received many calls from their executive at intervals of 20 ,25 days saying that my credit card has been issued but couldn't be delivered as they couldn't get to the address. even after confirming the address 5, 6 times i still have not got the credit card and since then i have not received any communication regarding the status of the same as whether card application is approved or rejected, because if that would have gone in wrong hands anyone can miss use it. I tried hard to get in touch with them however unable to. I believe Bank should take this issue in consideration and take the necessary steps to avoid such activities.

                              Barclay Credit Card — Poor Banking

                              its about poor banking in India by a UK company first they offer you with a card then they give you offer on card then starts the colorful game of business.

                              Barclay card charges a very heavy interest on they their banking that makes you outstanding more not because of the purchase but because of the interest
                              then if you don't do the payment some gang of people will call you 3 times a day 7 days a week to do the payment no matter whatever excuse you have. I don't matter to them if some one have died or living or gone bankrupt for a month they wont buy your story that is real.
                              Then when i called to their customer care to do the payment the guy asked me some verification questions that is
                              1.What is your card number i gave the by looking in my card.
                              2.What is you name off course i just i have 1 name given by my parents what i can give.
                              3.What is you date of birth i would know that better as i was born on that day
                              4.your mother name i just have 1 mother so how can i give that wrong
                              5.Your tel number i gave the same number on which i get 4 calls from the same bank
                              6.my address i gave the same address where i get my monthly statement from the same bank
                              But still the guy said that i am giving the wrong details i just asked for my balance quire so that i can do the payment but for the bank no means no i asked for the supervisor he said that all the supervisor are busy in a meeting and will take one hour i said that i will wait for and hour he said that a customer can wait for 1 hour but a executive can not wait for an hour.

                              That means a customer is just fool to attend 4 calls a day from their banking officer no matter where i am but a no manager or the front line executive have time to speak with the customer.At the end the Executive told me that he will be back kept me on hold and disconnected the call from his end

                              Barclays Bank — Calls regarding credit card

                              I have been getting regular calls (at least 2-3 times a day) for the past 6-7 months on my mobile phone from Barklays Bank asking for Mr. Santosh. I have repeatedly informed them that the number is wrong and it does not belong to Mr. Santosh. I have been holding the number for the past 3 years now. Yet they have not updated their data base, forget about confirming with the mobile phone service provider who the number actually belongs to. I have been disturbed repeatedly by these calls and the behaviour of the persons calling is also disturbing. I myself do not have any Barklays Bank credit card, and with this incident will never in future think of any association with the bank. It is really appauling to realise that the bank while providing a person with a new credit card account doesnt bother to do proper verification of the details provided by the customer! Today I received a call from Ms. Indrani Chatterjee on behalf of Barklays Bank regarding the same matter of Mr. Santosh's credit card. Being tried to th elimit of my tolerence I am placing this complaint. If these calls from Barklays Bank still persist, I will be forced to take further action against the bank.

                              I recieved a call from your Mumbai department on 8-Jan-09.

                              One of your executive named Mr.Iftekkar had spoken to me and did telephonic verification of mine.

                              He said that i will be getting my barclays credit card without any further documentation.They only require my one photo id proof.

                              He also gave my Application Number (-AL090106SUR4252) to track my application status.

                              I called on your both the customer care number[protected]/[protected], but your executive was not able to tell my status.

                              Yet no one has contacted me to collect the documents.

                              I have mailed 4 times on your [protected]@barclays.com but yet no reply.

                              May I know is really recession is eaten up you guys!!!

                                  I am lalitha, I have applied for the card last 6mths back, i received the status that the card got approved and address verification everything over, but till date card not delivered, so many times contacted customer service, no action. Try to deliver the card as soon as possible.Don't know the status whether got delivered to any wrong hands. To avoid misusing of the card please update with the status.                                     dear, i am also in same condition from uti bank i had applied for a credit card , but i received only pin numbers and till date i am getting my uti credit card bills which i am not having. many time i complaint at cust care but no one is getting my prob all of them says that ur complaint will be covered by our executive. only this line m hearing from last six months... what we can do for these stupids do u have any suggetions ???/

                                    I use travel website Yatra and on the same I applied for Barclay Card while booking air ticket Delhi to Hyderabad in month of March 2008. Representatives came and collected Income Tax PAN, Election Card and other papers from myself from my office at Hyderabad.After about 20 days the same person collected again the same documents. On May 2nd, 2008 I got a SMS at my Cell [protected]that my Barclay Card has been dispatched on April 24th, 2008 via Bluedart AWB [protected] but till date I have not received the same. I received the PIN around May 20th, 2008 at my Hyderabad residence.Called up 60016001 number of times for the last more than twenty days but this no.is always busy.Now where to lodge the complaint to get the status as well to ensure that the Card is not misused by any other putting me in legal complications.

                                      My name is Leena i have applied for a Barclay bank creditcard after a long period i got a message that my application for the mentioned credit card has been approved and i'll recive the card with in 21 working days but more than 40 days is gone i did'nt got the card yet....... So indian people dont trust any offers from Barclay.

                                      Barclay credit cards — Forcing me to pay them a joining membership fees, when I don't want any membership

                                      Barclay credit cards has come up with "Priority circle membership". They called me told about it and didn't told me the exact fee amount that I need to pay in order to join it.

                                      When bill came for the month, I enquired Customer Care and they charged Rs:6000 + Rs 742 for the same.
                                      I asked(before the due date) them to revert these back as I don't want it.

                                      I called them on 11 Oct, 6 Nov, 10 Nov, 15 Nov for the same. every time they say, in next 7 days it will be done and you will receive a call from "Priority Circle dept" for the same.

                                      But nobody called me from barclay for it even after lodging the complaint with them and following up with them 4 times.

                                      So I took the no. of their "Priority Circle" Dept, called them twice apart from above calls. They say "NO BODY can revert these back and YOU HAVE TO PAY IT".

                                      Actually these guys are happy when you make a part payment, as they have got an opportunity for charging interest.

                                      For next month bill they have charged interest on the unpaid amount of fee already.

                                      In effect Barclay is creating a net to Force customers to pay them money even when customer has not bought any merchandise or used the card.
                                      Even they have not given me the membership yet.

                                      So what is stopping them to revert the charges back?

                                      So card it not used, Barclay has not dispatched any gifts or membership to me, and I am being charged forcibly to pay what ever they charge as per their wish.

                                      Beware "DO NOT GO FOR BARCLAY CREDIT CARDS". These guys are big Frauds.

                                      I have paid $2600 in the last 12 months towards a balance of $4500 and only have managed to pay off a little over $1000 towards the bill... where is the other money??? this is outright felony theft...

                                        Dear Sir/Madam,

                                        I would like to bring to your kind attention the worst and frightening situation I had been through with Barclay card customer services/representatives. Now that I have received back the cancelled cheques which I had submitted along with the forms for a Pre-approved Personal Loan offered through Barclaycard, I'm still not happy that the way I was being treated and spent a lot of time and money to get my cheques back.

                                        Please find a detailed complaint filed with Barclaycard, below and help me.

                                        "I, Naresh A Sadhwani, holding a Barclay Credit Card # [protected] hereby would like to place a complaint regarding a pre-approved loan authorised on my credit card.

                                        Firstly, I would like to inform you that on the 13/10/2007 I had received a call from one of your marketing representatives, Mr Ansul Mishra, Mumbai Branch (Tel[protected] confirming that a pre-approved loan for an amount of Rs 1.59 Lakhs has been authorised on my Barclay Credit Card. He provided me with all the details and processing charges and confirmed upon submission of a copy of my PAN and Address Proof, my cheque will be sent in 3 working days. I was doubtful and so i asked the representative to provide me a reference number for the call and the conversation we had to make sure that this is a genuine call. Since he was not able to provide me any reference number I wanted his manager to confirm that this is a genuine call from Barclays. And so I spoke to his manager Mr Vinod Dayyola who also was not able to provide any reference number, but promised that I can call anytime on the Tel[protected], to reach him.
                                        On wednesday 17/10/2007, two representatives Thomas and sales manager Shanmugan from Barclays Nungambakkam, Chennai branch had called and visited my home to collect the necessary documents and also 9 post dated cheques(cancelled cheques) and later on the 19/10/2007 one of the higher manager Mr Jagdish had called (Tel[protected] requesting for the forms to be filled in, I informed that I had already filled and signed all the forms and given the necessary documents and 9 cheques on the 17/10/2007, for which he informed that I had signed BLANK documents. I insisted and requested to speak with the two agents Thomas and Shanmugam who were not available and so I requested for a call back for the same. Until Now there has been no call that i have received neither a response while i call the chennai branch...the phone just keeps ringing. And so on the 19/10/2007 I called the mumbai branch on[protected] and no one has been able to assist me or trace any kind of call being made from Barclays Personal loan. Now I had filed a complaint with Mr Abu Ansari (Personal Loan Dept-Mumbai) and I have still not received any kind of a call back or a response. I 'am worried and still been trying the call all the above mentioned telephone numbers and receiving no response. Now to my surprise I 'am also unable to reach the tel[protected] during the day time (as your PL is open 9-6 only), so i rang on 23/10/2007 at 2:00 AM and requested for a direct telephone number of Personal Loan Mumbai and chennai branch which no one is able to provide me.
                                        I Highly suspect a Fraudlent activity and will report the matter to the Local authorities and the consumer department, because i know what kind of situation I'am going through by giving my documents and cheques. Also kindly inform if your call center representatives have updated any kind of conversation I had and complained during these days on my account.
                                        I hope you seriously consider this letter as a Complaint and take necessary steps. Please respond upon receipt of this mail."

I got approval before 10 days (02/20/2008) and during transfer of money to my account. I got confirmation call regarding rate of interest. Chennai DST confirmed 18.5 % / annum. but During the confirmation they had told me 19 %/annum. so i put in hold. Now i request 19%/annum ok for me. but till now not yet processed. kindly i request you to process my file.

                                        I am also a victim of Barclay card pathetic services.They kept calling me to take the credit card and came immediately to collect the documents.i go an sms saying its approved .After for a month there was no news.After again i get this calls from barclay offering for credit card were i told i already i ahve applied.Then again after 2 weeks i get a call from lady confirming my address to deliver the card and she promisedm e that i will get the card with in 7 days.Again somebody calls and offers for creditcard with extreme anger i told them ll the details what happened before to a senior guy and he promises me that the card will reach by 3 days.After 14 days i get a pincode of my credicard on my home address.After that now its going to be 3 weeksthere is no information about the card.I have called up the customer care which they have provided me in the pincodde slip.60004444 & [protected].I have been trying from past 3 days ,one number comes doesnt exist and other all the time busy.I am surprised rather shocked how an international name Barclay can be so worst in their operations,There is no body to look in to it,Now some how i want to cancel my card.

                                        Barclaycard — REGARDING PERSONAL LOAN

I WAS ASKED TO PAY A PROCESSING FEES & OTHER CHARGES, [WHICH I PAID A SUM OF RS 4292] I WAS INFORMED AS RS 5606 AS MY EMI FOR THE TENURE OF SIXTY MONTHS. BUT WHEN I HAD TO PAY MY 1ST EMI, I GOT A STATEMENT DEMANDING FOR RS 6687.54. THIS WAS DONE BY YOUR BANK BY ADDING HIDDEN CHARGES WHICH WAS NOT INFORMED TO ME PRIOR ACCEPTING THE LOAN.
