Respected Sir,
i put a real copy which is forworded by me to barclays bank credit card department and till i am not getting any single reply from them. i send them 7-8 mail before 20-25 day. Executive said me that we will revart to you within 5 working days but till i am not getting any reply and every day i attend 7-8 call from barclays bank and i give same clarification to all executives after may clarification all executives said me we are forward your complain to our senior but no result.They are disturb me lot for the same rather than solve my problem. so please help me for the same as soon as possible.

This is Bhavesh Rajput here and I have one complain to you about my Barclay card just before 30-35 days. I got a call from your side regarding the membership of Barclay priority circle and for some miss communication I m not able to heard about the charges of the same. Now you charge me 5000/- Rs and service tax. Total amount charged to me from your side is 5618/- Rs for the membership fees.
Now I donʼt want any membership in Barclay card and till I am not using any facility of priority circle so my kindly request to you just reverse this charge in my Barclay card account.
I discuss with customer care executive but she told me that they are not able to any type of cancelation. And I must have to pay this amount.
So kindly do the needful
Otherwise I am not paying this same amount. U can saw my previous relationship with Barclay. There is not a single late payment. You have a good record of mine. So please give me fever.
So you just reverse my charges as soon as possible.

Barclays Credit Card — Barclays Credit Card Charges

Dear Sir,

I have a new Credit Card of Barclays.
My Card no is [protected] of Visa.

I have received bill on[protected] for the period of Jan 25 to Feb 23, 2008
I have paid the bill on 12-03-08. (Cheque No. 842914) But due to
outstation cheque they have not accepted the payment. But they havenot sent my cheque till today.
I have contacted them many times through mail & phone communication, but till date they have not
replied me properly. Even I have made the same payment by local cheque. But in my next statement
I found that they have charged me late payment fees Rs. 300 + Intrest.

I request you to take necessary steps for cancellation of late payment charges
with intrest & return my outstation cheque as soon as possible.

Barclays Bank Gold Credit Card — online fraud transaction done on my card

Please be informed that on 04Dec2007 at 1930hrs. I received a phone call from Mr. Krishna([protected]) enquiring if any online transaction has been done by me using credit card, against that I replied in negative. Mr. Krishna than informed me that 02 transactions have been done online through my card for the amount of $1 & $25 around 1545hrs. on 04Dec2007. I absolutely deny the same and refuse to pay any amount as when the above transaction was done (transaction time as per your outbound CSR)I was in my office with my colleague discharging my duties. Kindly do thorough investigations for fact finding to save your customer from cheat & fraud.
Earlier, I send e-mails to your Credit Card Division and calls to your helpline no many times regarding above dispute, also send a fax to Mr. Sachin Arora (credit card division)
But neither any investigation nor any solution given to me till yet and I think this is rediculous part of your side inspite of this all your CSR’s told me that investigation is in process.etc.. so, plz wait for 45-60 days and I think this time period given by you is also past, now further again I rec: a call from your side on 06/02/2008 and suggest me to send a hard copy of complaint to your Head Office .
I don’t know why shoul I bear all these charges (send u a fax, courier charges or Reg: A.D.)
This is a final copy of complaint which I send u from my side.
Now, I receive many calls from your collection department regarding the same transaction and asked me when I pay the whole amount of Rs.3500/- approx: (principal of Rs.1052/- + all late fees, surcharges, taxes and many other charges levy on me). This situation is very harrasing me.

So, give me a solution and end this matter permanently
Nobody from your concerned dept call me except your collection dept.

Barclay Credit Card — Barclays Bank Credit Card.

I am having a Barclays Bank Credit Card. Even though I have deposited payment of credit card well before 10 days of due date, I have been charged with late fees of Rs 600 (Approx) two times in last three months. I live in Kolkata and there is not customer service to talk with.
Now they are sending that i have paid the actual amount.
I have a statement where they mention that i have already paid that.this is their intention to make a defaulter and encash some extra money from customer.even i have requested them to discard my card but they didnt reply any thing.

Barclays Credit Card — Charges

Dear Sir/Madam,
I’m holding the above mentioned card number from Barclay & has some issue regarding statements.
I had used this card in month of april for Rs.697.
Kindly again make a note that two payments got credited one on 24th MAY & second on 26th MAY. This 26th payment was thru PNB cheque which was dropped in skypak drop box at gk-II on 11th May but when the same didn’t get credited, the officer from Barclays on 24th May asked me to make another payment confirming that no late payment will be charged; which I made thru hdfc netbanking.
So, double payment for 697 got credited in my Barclay card account but u levied the late charges with financial charges without any fault of mine. It’s totally on skypak or Barclays to see where that chq was lying from 11th may & how come it got credited on 26th may.
Because of all this I had stopped using this card since then. I’m holding so many credit cards with me from various banks like HSBC, ABN AMRO, HDFC, ICICI, SBI, CITI, American Express, Deutsche, Reliance etc. & has been using them regularly from past 5 years & till date no such kind of problem have been faced at any point of time. Looking towards my case history as described above & my relations with other bankers you are hereby again requested to settle the issue with reversing charges levied in the month of MAY statement resulting in various charges getting accumulated on every month basis.
So, I again request you to reverse all charges levied on my card account till date

Barclays Credit Card — financial charges

i have payment of Rs 231.00 on 11/5/09 through RMS CREDIT SOLUTION PVT LTD Receipt no C 640886 .that time i have not received credit card when agency contact me i paid .after some days i got card .before i lodge complant i have no card .that complaint no is 1615054 and reversal complaint no is 161043 .then your side sent letter .Ref# CAS[protected]T8857 on 21 may 2009 .so without card NO i can't drop check in time .kindly reverse all charges otherwise i am not intrested in yr card stop this card no 4339********2329 immidiatly.

Barclays Credit Card — levying of late and financial charges

Sir, I am a Barclays Credit Card Holder bearing the nmbr.of [protected]. As usual I dropped a Cheque No.129899 for Rs.5974.00 dated 8-9-2010 in Skypack Drop Box. The last date for this payment is fallen on[protected]. Normally I am receiving SMS alerts from them for details of statements, last date and also the Cheque receipts. But this month till[protected] there is no msg.from them about the receipt of my Cheque. Doubting some mischief immediately I called up to their Customer Care and enquired about my cheque. They said till such time[protected] they have not received the Cheque to them and registered my compliant with ref.no.4171375 and said to reply back to me within 4 to 7 days to my regd.mobile no.with full details and assured that there will not be levying of any late payment charges. Till[protected] there is no reply/SMS from them, then again I spoke to their Customer Care and came to know that the Cheque was received by them in time and held with them for the reason the Card No.written on the Cheque is invalid. Then I suggested my request that they should have informed the same by SMS so that I could make alternate cheque payment immediately. But unfortunately they replied me rudely that it is not their lookout. Though I felt it very bad experience, immediately I dropped another Cheque on the same day and was credited to my card account on[protected]. The sad thing is that they have levied me with late and financial charges all inclusive of Rs.800/- in my latest statement. Though again I contacted their Customer Care about this, I got the same rude reply saying it is not poosible to reverse the levied charges and asked me compliant in this website. Hence I request to go through my account history record and I am of the strong belief that they are intentionally indulging the customers to levy this kind of charges for which they are supposed to see the merits of account holder's nature of reporting the complaint within time limit or not. Though I decided to stop using of this card, I would like to enlighten that it is nothing but Barclays Credit Holders must be aware that they are no ethics in this Bank and always try to clinch extra money in different non moral ways.

Barclays bank Credit card — Fraud on my Barclays bank Credit Card No. 4339481662725445

Dear Sir,


This is Chandrakant Shukla & I was having Barclays Bank Credit Card No. [protected]. In Jan 2008 I came to know throgh their call centre executive that my credit card was misused by some one unauthorisedly. I reported this to Barclays Bank immediately & was assured by them that they will look into the matter & revert. But even till today, inspite of my several follow ups the issue remain un resolved & I am being harrased by the bank for the payment of amount, which I have not used. My Submissions & concerns & requests are as below:

1) The last transaction which I made on my card is on 30th of Dcember 2007 for Rs. 2000/- from Vijay Automobile, Gandhinagar - Gujrat

2) As per the details provided by their call centre Executive Ms. Miyanta is that from 2nd Jan 2008 till 11th Jan 2008 there has been around 25+ unauthorised transactions has happen.

3) Most of these transactions are for online air tickets through Yatra/makemytrip/Spice/Air Deccan etc.

4) I'm strongly disowning these transaction as neither I have done these transactions nor given my card to any person to do these
transactions.

5) I wrote several mails, made several calls to the bank & no satisfactory actions were taken till this date.

6) After my several regrous follow ups The Barclays bank reversed approximately 18-20 transactions & still 5-6 transactions were kep pending for the reasons best known to them.

7) Now for these remaining transactions, accumulated charges are approximately 60-70K & they are following up with me for the payments.

8) I have already filed complaint with Gandhinagar police station & send dispute letter to Barclays bank as suggested by them.

8) They have also referred my name to CIBIL & thereby putting my financial & social reputation at stake for none of my faults.

I have made all possible attempts to contact them to resolve the matter, but even after 3 yrs of the reporting the matter they are still not resolving the issue & harrassing me for the payments.

As a final resort, I'm referring the matter to you for addressal at the earliest.

    Hi,

    I'm raj ganesh my card# 4339**************1657, my bill date is 17 of every month and due dt is 06th of every month. in the month of august i droped a chk in skypak drp box. i dont know where the chk went and the account was moved to collections & also chrged some late pymt fees. Im not able to tolerate the pressure given by the agents, per day i use to receive 120 calls from them and ill atten the call them but nobody will be there to reply me... ill be shouting like mad & if i try to reach them also the same thing will happen. atlast one day i got the representative online & i paid their requested amount. you know becoz their mental pressure while im riding my bike they were keeping on calling me continuously i attended the call the same thing happened they didnt speak at all. at the moment i met with an accident. hence barclays banks & collection agency is responsible for that accident which occured to me. lets come to the point again this month october i dropped a hdfc chk on oct3 for 2 thousand in the same drop box and i also cld and updated one of your associate that i dropped a chk and im not ready to make any late pymt fees again collection agents started to screwing me in the sameway like receiving 90 or 80 calls, so i cld barclays i enquired abt the chk they just sd chk is incomplete.
    Am i mad? to drop a incomplete chk. i have a proof in my hand for what are the problem im facing by you guys. anyway i got a rep on line after keeping on calling them and again i made a pymt on[protected] to the collection executive mr.velkumar from BSA infomedia Private limited for the amt of 1300.00 rs. and receipt# C79066. but still im recving 80 calls per day from somany collection agency numbers and not one will talk to me, they will just disconnect the call. i use to call and update the same info which im giving you rightnow and if i question abt continuous calls and why they are not speaking to me. the agent reply will be in a single line. "its a system generated call and its a tech problem, sorry for the inconvinience" but you bankers dont know what are all the problems we are facing becoz of you guys. really you guys troubling me a lot. i dont want your money and i dont want to cheat you guys so that the reason each & every time im calling asking the executive to come and collect the pymt. pls allow me live free in this beautiful world pls or you guys resp incase anything happens to me. again i have proof for every thing including call recordings, my ph bill, my accident reports, etc; anyway i going to file a police complaint against the you and im going to sue a case against the you. im damm sure about that you should pay for these trouble what are all im facing by you guys. pls take it as high priority complaint and do the needful or im ready to face you guys in the court. waiting for you reply.

      I'm raj ganesh my card# 4339**************1657, in the month of april i recvd a call from pririty circle... any way i accepted to apply for the holiday voucher and trolley bag... but just 2 days before only i recvd a holiday voucher and i didnt receive any trolley bags... i was trying to call them for past few months always their number is busy... really im not able tolerate this so im going to file police complaint and seu a case against them... pls take is a high priority mail & do the needful

        I have a Barclay credit card. When ever I took this card they called to my mob and sale a product of Troly Bag and servises worth Rs.5000/-Which I have not received.
        They told after payment you will get the product.Because of bad service I decided not to continue with that product so I called to Customer care and told to cancel the Rs 5000/- service which is a customer not received the service.But they denied. I am still paying the interest of that amount .Please help. I donot want the service itself.If I drop the check as per ther instruction before 7-4 days still it will not clear and I am penalized with Late fee and other charges.After informing to Customer care they are not responcing.at last they gave me a number of Bangalore Its only ringing and I am getting bill with penalty...Pls tel me how to go about this ...

          Barclay bank people they dont have any business ethics they really make ur life worst if by chance you they dont receive the payment on time at least in a day around 6-8 times they will give u the miss call when u pick up no one on the other side. If we ask these question to the customer care they its a system fault. They really dont understand the people. above all Barclay doesnt have any coordination among them selves. They really make life hell.

            Respected Sir/Madam,

            I am a Barclaycard holder ( CARD NO: [protected]). I was offered an invitation to priority circle membership which according to my understanding was offered free of cost. But on 18/09/2008 my account reflected a charge of Rs. 6000/- along with a service tax of Rs. 741.60/-. So a total of Rs. 6741.60/- was charged in me for Priority circle membership. I was totally taken aback and promptly called back your customer care. They took down my complaint and upon enquiry from me after 72 hours they said that the charges cannot be reversed as apparently i consented to the proposal after knowing about the charges.

            I totally disagree to such an acquisition and after i went through your terms and conditions for priority circle, according to Clause 2, subclause b., and c.,

            b. The participation of Cardholder(s) in the Program is voluntary and if a Cardholder(s) chooses not to participate in the Program, then he/she shall inform/intimate the Bank in this regard within 21 days from the date of the amount has been debited to his card account, in the manner as indicated by the Bank at its sole discretion from time to time. In the event, a Cardholder(s) decides not to become member of the Program and has communicated the same to Bank within the 21 days mentioned above, then the Bank shall reverse such charges received from the Cardholder(s) provided that the Cardholder has not availed any benefit of the programme.

            c. Subject to terms of 2 b above, If a Barclaycardholder decides to withdraw from the Program, then he/she shall intimate the Bank of the same. Upon withdrawal from the Program, all Charges pertaining to the Program, borne by Barclaycardholder, shall be reversed.

            I again called up your customer care at priority circle, and expressed my decision to withdraw from the programme clearly in straight words, siting the terms and conditions as above.

            But till date whenever i called cust. Care to verify the reversal, they are telling that the fees cannot be reversed.

            In this regard I am requesting Consumer complaints officials should take actions against BARCLAYCARD priority circle on this issue.

            They should cancel the membership and revert charges to my account.

            A PROMPT ACTION IN THIS MATTER WILL BE HIGHLY APPRICIATED
            Dear Madam,
            I am a Barclaycard holder ( CARD NO: [protected]). I was offered an invitation to priority circle membership which according to my understanding was offered free of cost. But on 29/08/2008 my account reflected a charge of Rs. 5000/- along with a service tax of Rs. 618/-. So a total of Rs. 5618/- was charged in me for Priority circle membership. I was totally taken aback and promptly called back your customer care. They took down my complaint and upon enquiry from me after 48 hours they said that the charges cannot be reversed as apparently i consented to the proposal after knowing about the charges.
            I totally disagree to such an acquisition and after i went through your terms and conditions for priority circle, according to Clause 2, subclause b., and c.,
            b. The participation of Cardholder(s) in the Program is voluntary and if a Cardholder(s)
            chooses not to participate in the Program, then he/she shall inform/intimate the Bank in this
            regard within 21 days from the date of the amount has been debited to his card account, in the

            So on 15/09/2008 ( 17th day from charging my account) i again called up your customer care at priority circle, and expressed my decision to withdraw from the programme clearly in straight words, siting the terms and conditions as above. I talked to one Ms. DURGA and after a while she confirmed me that my charges will be reversed instantly. I was given the ref. No.[protected].
            But till date whenever i called cust. Care to verify the reversal, ( i called priority circle on 19/09/2008 at 11.35 pm and after that the customer care at 11.45 pm. Same date), they are unable to confirm that. On the contrary they said again that the fees cannot be reversed.

            THIS IS TO PUT ON RECORD THAT I WILL NOT BE HELD RESPONSIBLE FOR NON PAYMENT OF Rs. 5618/- AS PRIORITY CIRCLE MEMBERSHIP FEE AND SERVICE TAX ON THAT FEE, AS I HAVE DECLINED THE OFFER AND EXPRESSED MY UNWILLINGNESS TO JOIN THE PROGRAMME WELL WITHIN 21 DAYS OF MY ACCOUNT BEINFG CHARGED FOR IT.
            THIS COMMUNICATION MAY PLEASE BE CONSIDERED AS FURTHUR CONFIRMATION OF MY OPINION AND MY DECISION.

            A PROMPT ACTION IN THIS MATTER WILL BE HIGHLY APPRICIATED

I was offered an invitation to priority circle membership on 13/09/2008, which according to my understanding was offered free of cost. But on 24/09/2008 my account reflected a charge of Rs. 5000/- along with a service tax of Rs. 618/-. So a total of Rs. 5618/- was charged in me for Priority circle membership.on 30th Sep i called to customer care for my outstanding bill they have tell me that you have charged 5000 for barclay priority circle membership. I was totally taken aback and promptly called back your customer care. They took down my complaint and upon enquiry from me after 48 hours they said that the charges cannot be reversed as apparently i consented to the proposal after knowing about the charges.

            i have Called to Customer care and speak to them to cancel this membership offer, but they have given a number [protected] and said that i have to inform on this number.i have tried 2-3 days regularly, i think that is fake number, only IVR System is speaking our there.

But on 25/10/2008 my account reflected a charge of Rs. 6741/- . I was totally taken aback and promptly called back your customer care. They took down my complaint and even don't now prioirity circle when i phone to customer care then only i know. accoriding to your rules :
            I totally disagree to such an acquisition and after i went through your terms and conditions for priority circle, according to Clause 2, subclause b., and c.,
            b. The participation of Cardholder(s) in the Program is voluntary and if a Cardholder(s)
            chooses not to participate in the Program, then he/she shall inform/intimate the Bank in this
            regard within 21 days from the date of the amount has been debited to his card account, in the
            manner as indicated by the Bank at its sole discretion from time to time. In the event, a
            Cardholder(s) decides not to become member of the Program and has communicated the same
            to Bank within the 21 days mentioned above, then the Bank shall reverse such charges received
            from the Cardholder(s) provided that the Cardholder has not availed any benefit of the
            programme.

            Respected Sir/Madam,

            I am a Barclaycard holder ( CARD NO: [protected]). I was offered an invitation to priority circle membership which according to my understanding was offered free of cost. But on 12/11/2008 my account reflected a charge of Rs. 6000/- + servicetax 741.60 (6741.60)
            I have suffered a lot with Braclaycard too. the executive had put me in soup. The calls for BPC(Priority Circle) was put on me without ny consent. I have denied upfront a number of times and verified over phone. But I was in chennai then on business trip, gone there from Bangalore.
            The call center executive from Delhi were very rude and I had suffered a lot in that.
            Finally I composed mail and had maintained a log of all the calls I had made post the BPC membership. These guys have debited Rs. 5618.00 in Oct 2008 statement, while I got call in April 2008, and I had denied then. In between a couple of times I got call that Mr Kumar, this is confirmation call. I rejected upfront.

            But after shotting three mails I got a call from Head-Barclaycard Services, that they will take pro-active action and revert back th echarges if not subscribed.
            Thanks god! I got it back. But I had really bad experience handling the call executive who were very rude,

            I have mixed feelings, but the top management level executives will be the right person to contact whenever you are in unwanted and un-solicited trouble.

            I have faced similar nuisance with barclay card and they have not responded to my concern as well. Infact their numbers for delhi[protected]...there nobody picks up the phone, its quite misleading and frustrating. Barclays should stop this priority circle membership as they have misled me.

                I have been using the credit cards from past 10 odd years but has never came across such pathetic customer service and such an annoying service by any Bank. The bank which boasts of an international repute and behaving in such disgusting manner.

                I have been charged Barclays Priority circle fees, which I was asking them to reverse from the very moment it was levied on my card, and it has taken 4 months for the Barclarys credit card team to let me know that these charges cannot be reversed. When I raised this concern I was told that as an arrangement I have to pay INR 390/- and they would waive off the charges, which I agreed and paid only to avoid harassement by these guys.

                Even for collecting the amount every 10 mts I used to get call to check whether I am ready with the cash so that they can send their executive to collect the same. Their executive finally made it after 2 days of my agonizing exprience of telling the Barclays customer care that I am ready with INR 390 to the make payment as I was departing with a huge fortune of mine!!!

                Its almost a week I have paid the amount, I am still continuing to get the SMS and calls asking for the receipt number/ payment outstanding, being referred to credit bureau and what not, I have written email updating the recipt number of the payment done and also gave the number to atleast 10 customer care executives, but still continue to receive the calls and SMS !!! I am surprised whether the so called International Bank trying to have a footing in Indian market does have any kind of systems in place or the sole motive is to harasse Indian public??

                I have decided firmly that never again will I be associating my self with this Bank and would not even recommend to any one of this bank.

                I hope that I would be previlaged enough after loding complaint here that I will not be receiving any SMS or calls from this bank.

                    my name is anisha. i had taken a loan of 3 laks from the above said bank. till date iam pay it correct. now i have resigned my job hence my salary account is closed. hence i requested them to close my ecs and requested for a collection agent to come and collect the emi or i said i would dorp a cheque in their drop box. but there did not agree for it and are threating me to open a new bank account and give them the cheques for it. right now i am not working as i had a baby. but they r forcing me to open a bank account. or else they will collect the bounce charges every month. which is 460.00. this is not fare. please help me. already i have to pay 5 lks for getting 3 lks loan. please me.

                      I have been a customer of Barclays Bank for about a year now using their Gold Credit Card. Pls note that I am also their Priority Circle Member for which I had to pay a hefty amount of Rs. 5000 on a promise that they would give me Reward Points on that amount (false promise). The strange thing happening with me is that I do not receive my credit card statements but am asked to make the payment on the basis of the SMSes that I keep on getting to make the payment of a particular amount with no details. If one doesn't pay that (obviously one is not a fool to pay before seeing the details of the expenses one is billed for) amount, he/she is charged for late payment (penalty) as well as the interest on the outstanding amount. On top of that, they send SMSes saying that the statment has been delivered on _____ date with __________AWB no. (fake no. of course) as I never received those statements by courier. When I called the 'customer care' several times to lodge my complaints, they had no answer. Surprisingly, they do not have a facility of 'online statements' which one could download and print, which even our national banks also have. I then asked them to send my statements on my e-mail. Only once did I receive a statement on my e-mail and that also after 15 days of the due date. They asked me to make the 'minimum payment' saying that I would not be charged any penalty or interest charges once I make the payment for the minimum amount. I just do not understand how this bank is functioning in our country with such a poor set up and lousy services. They should better assess themselves if they want to do serious business in India.

I think this is the way they make money they are the chiters there officers agrees to wave the different charges like late payment and interest amount but even after there confirmation the statement shows all the charges and they just repeat the same thing you make minimum payment and all the charges will be waved in next bill and you will never get the statement. I am trying since last 6 months for the statement they have made several time confirmation of my add and many time agree that it's there fault and amount should be reversed but in actual this never been done. seriously i smell big scam of chiting and makking money by the use of this type of tactics i think our consumer forum should look in to this matter. So in short this one is not trust worthy at all.
                      I completely agree with you as this same has been happening with me and even after talking to their customer care reps, all i got to hear is that you make the payment the statement would be sent.

I have this account for the last one year but from the last 3 months i am not getting my stmt and i am not able to pay bec of that as i have being paying the amt in full every month but it is not possible for the last 3 months ...I have talked to your customer care people but are patheatic they do not know about the account they cannt tell whats the min amt due ... like in the month of july they gave me a minimum amt of 830rs but it was 850 or 860 rs I paid the amt but then they applied the late fees and then the overlimit fees... Moreover nor your online systems are working and not your telephone numbers its very very very difficult to contact you every time ... there fore i want a pay off amt and i want to close this account ...

                          With utter disappointment, i hereby convey my dissatisfaction for the harassment by Barclays' people, who have been calling and smsing me day in and day out with reference to some money that according to their records, i am liable to pay.

                          the history of that partiular transaction goes like this:
                          on 25/27th Mar 2008, some transaction on a/c of irctc was made for rs. 1004/- which according to me is a fake one.

                          inspite of registering my complaint 5/6 times with Barclay customer care dept and mailing the letter to carry out the investigation too, the call center people and so called recovery agents have been calling me 15-20 times in a day and are sending reminder smses.

                          this shows a complete lack of coordination b/w the depts and unwillingness to help the customers, on their part.

                          also, pls note that i am honest enough to pay all my dues well on time for the services that i have used.

                          its is very unfortunate to realise that Barclays being such a big company works like this!!

                          THEIR CALLS AND SMSes ARE HAMPERING MY PROFESSIONAL AND PERSONAL LIFE AND THEREFORE I AM HEREBY REGISTERING A CASE IN CONSUMER FORUM, AGAINST THEM FOR THE SAME.

                            This is to bring to your notice that Barclays which is one of the reputed banks in UK has such a pathetic reputaion in India and the way they cheat innocent customers


                            2-3 weeks back I got a call from Barclay Priority Circle representative that i can avail the facility of IRC hotels absolutely free with out any charges.since i am a travel freak...i confirmed from the rep "are you sure there no charges "...he said NONE...so i asked i would like to avail this facility.


                            Now when i have received the statement it shows me a charge of Rs.6000 for the free travel .I immediately called up your customer care to inquire.

                            Firstly it is very difficult to get through you IVR.and then finally when i got to speak to your rep i was put on hold for more 15 mins by your representative .When i asked that i need to speak to your supervisor the call was transferred to NEHA who was very rude and said she has no authority to cancel it.She was not ready to give her employee ID and any office address in delhi ...she only kept saying that she has no authority.I wanted to meet some one personally from Barclays so that he/she could solve this problem but NEHA was adamant that she will not give the address.

                            I am very furious with the kind of customer service i have received from Barclays representatives.

                            I need an immediate action against barclays.They cannot fool people around and charge them money for no reason.I need that an inquiry should be conducted and the recorded converation between me and the barclays priority circle representative should be examined to prove the fact that i was cheated.

                            I have decided not to pay a single penny till the matter is sorted out.I feel cheated by Barclays.It is really sad that such companies exsits in India...i feel my human rights have been violated and i am sure other people who are barclays customer must have a similiar feeling

                            I want this issue to be sorted out asap.

                              I have a Barclay credit card, in may I received a call from Barclay people saying that they are going activate priority circle to my card.
                              I asked them weather it is going to be charged they said no and I asked them to activate the service. when I saw the bill they have charged me 5000 plus taxes next movement I called customer care they said we are not the concern department (then why did they put the customer care to screw the public) they have given another number when I called there they simply lifted the call and hanged up, it went nearly 5-6 times, again I called customer care they have given Chennai number same thing happened again I called the customer care this time they have given Mumbai number same thing happened, like I called all the major cities India I got fed up again called Customer care explain the situation then they have taken the complaint .
                              But till now they have not resolved my problem and they calling me to pay the bill this is ridiculous…

Please help me from Goonda of barclay bank. Only because of raising late payment fees and service charges and to raise the higher bill, the they have made this type of incident. I am 100% agree to pay the minimum amount due against my total outstanding. Gradually I will pay the amount to Bank., but not at a time. Please avoid Goonda which has veen hired by Barclay bank that is completely illegal.

                                I am holding barclay yatra.com card nearly from last 3 months.(end August ) . till date i didn, t get the pin number of the card . i talked may times to the customercare exectutive and one of the
                                executive told that they have dispatched the Pin number in a local post on 10th sep . but till date i didn, t recvd and i have written many mails to them ( even to their head office ) but till date no response form their side. and one of their executive told that they have send th esame in local post and their responsibility is over. this is the reply i got.

                                YATRA BARCLAYCARD is the WORST Credit Card in India (if not world). Their customer service is pathetic and I have decided to cancel the card. Their offers are not worth it. Their customer care executives are always having their systems updated. They charge you every month for late payment fees and interest and then you call them and get these charges reversed and then again in the next month they charge you. This happened with me continually for 6 months.

                                Whenever they promise that some problem will be resolved within a specific time, it never gets done. Their Call Center numbers give back a BUSY TONE. Emails sent to them dont get a reply. They SELL your CONFIDENTIAL information like your income, your credit limit, your name & address to companies, even if you opt for NOT getting contacted by their partners.

                                They will keep calling you every month to take up EMI facility, even if you make your payments in full and on-time.

                                I am attaching my correspondences with them. My suggestion don't go for the card. I have already cancelled it.

                                As an internationally reputed service provider, I must bring to your notice, that you have brought your organisation and the Barclay's brand name into disrepute by the pathetic quality of services that you are providing. Despite repeated calls and reminders to you, on your customer helpline, my queries have not been solved.

                                Your customer care number in Gurgaon is giving a message like "the customer you are trying to reach is currently busy, please try again later". I cant understand what service you are providing. There can be no bigger blunder than this in customer service, where the customer care number is busy. I can still understand that I am put on hold due to unavailability of an executive, but the number being busy is completely unacceptable.

                                Upon getting connected to your customer service executive, 80% of the times, the systems are getting updated and the executive is unable to help. The executives are often rude and show complete inability to handle the situation. If an executive's system is not working, he/she should be offline and the call must not be transferred to such a person.

                                I am repeatedly getting charged for interest charges, late payment fees, etc. month after month, every month. Despite your executives agreeing to this problem, every time they reverse the old charges and in the next statement levy fresh charges. What is the point of reversing the old charges in the first case, if you are going to charge it for whatever reason again.

                                I am getting sms that your statement has been delivered by the courier service, whereas I have not received it. Even there is a courier number. A understand this amounts to providing misleading information to the customer and generating fraudulent courier numbers.

                                A cheque deposited on the 24th of a month (4 days before the due date) is credited to my account on the 4th of the next month. Then you charge me for late payment fees?

                                Despite having a credit limit of over 25000 in my account, a transaction of Rs. 11000 gets rejected. Not once, but repeatedly? (you can check this in your records) Due to this, I have to pay an extra 1500 for my flight ticket as the same problem is not solved by you for more than 24 hours after giving a time of 4 hours (I can prove with the ticket that I actually bought). Also, I have to change my travel plans at the last minute and I reach late by over 2 hours to a training program. Who is responsible for the above situation and who is going to reimburse me for the extra payment I have made?

                                I sometimes wish I had a voice recorder on my phone, to record the conversations with your executives, their commitments to rectify your system and your complete inability to fulfill these commitments.

                                I am also part of a company (Dhanuka Agritech Limited, listed on BSE) and customer service is our prime concern. In today's environment how can a service driven company like yourself ignore "CUSTOMER SERVICE", is entirely beyond my comprehension.

                                You have made up a joke out of customer service. IT DISPLAYS THE DEFICIENCY OF SERVICES AND TRADE MALPRACTICES.

                                I need you to take immediate action and reverse the inappropriate charges in my account and also respond to my email within 48 hours with explanation for all the above points otherwise I will be forced to knock on the doors of the consumer court.

                                  On droppping a my cheque in favour of Barclays Bank PLC, at gangadeshwaram koil street chennai drop box on[protected]. After dropping the Cheque well before the due date bank is continuously sending the statement demanding the Late Fee, tax and Interest. After dropping the cheque how can customer come to know about the cheque? he can know only when his/her account has debited.                                   About a fortnight ago, I received a marketing phone call from Barclays informing me that they have a very nice scheme for some of their premier card holders therein the card holder, just by paying Rs 250/- will get stay at hotel for two days three nights. The offer came as a surprise for me, I inquired twice to the caller about other charges that are payble from my side. I was repeatedly told that I have just to pay Rs 250/- as handling charges and nothing else. There after I received a letter regrding " priority circle" informing me that sum of Rs5000/- plus service tax will be deducted from my next bill for awailing services 0f priority circle. It was not informed to be during the conversation that such a charge will be levied. I felt cheated and contacted priority circle phone line mentioned in the letter to cancel the deal. To my utter surprise i was informed that there was no mis-interpritation form barclays side and deal can not be canceled. Then i contacted customer care ( ohh! its a hell long waiting every time to make a contact of customer center at barclay- do some thing to improve the situation)where in my complaint has been lodged. I am still awaiting the response from barclays. Then I saw this complaint site and came to know that there are many card holder who have been taken into trap of priority circle.There cannot be a problem of mis-interpretation in so many cases. This a matter that should be looked into very seriously by barclays officials.

DUE TO SOME BANKING REASON IT BOUNCED. I GAVE REQUEST TO BARCLAYS BANK ON AUG.08, 2008 TO GIVE ME A REASONING LATTER FOR THIS & AFTER THAT DAY I MADE AROUND 30 CALLS TO THEM BUT THEY ALWAYS SAID ME TO WAIT FOR FEW DAY.                                     I am a Cutomer of Barclays Bank Credit Card under Card no:- [protected]. I have very bad experience with it. Customer care executives are very rude and unproffessional, really i have never seen like this. I have deposited 2 cheques of amounts Rs 12000 & 5000 dated 28/08/2008 at Moti Nagar Metro Station New Delhi on 02/09/2008 But When I received next statement you have charged Rs 1437.84 as a late payment etc. I had deposited the payment in time that is your system as well as cheque collection fault, even I deposited the cheque of Rs 1438.00 by cheque no. 340581 of Bank of India dated 01/10/2008 on 03/10/2008 at Moti Nagar Metro Station New Delhi, this cheque has been debitted on my bank account on 06/10/2008 But I am being receiving yours reminder calls daily that you have not receive the payment yet . I requested your Customer care a lot of lots of time But there is no Proper Response, So therefore I request you Kindly Looking this matter seriously and cheque your system Properly against my cheque no. 340581 dated 06/10/2008 Because some one might have Creditted this amount to someone else account also request you to revert all these charges in the next statement otherwise deactivate my Card w.e.f. I hope there is proffesionalism Which will definately provide a client satisfation.

                                    I very much agree to these complaints made by barclays card holders because the same thing happened to my card as well and then i stop making payment than i received a reversal letter and than also the charges were not deducted from my account

                                    Barclays Bank — demand for payment without card usage

                                    i was offered a Barcalys bank TIMES credit card a few months back thru a telemarketing person.(CARD NO [protected])..A few days later there was a call from the bank offering me a FREE MEMBERSHIP which I never accepted..furthur to this there was a courier containing 2 suitcases at my doorsteps which again I DID NOT ACCEPT.. now for past 3 months I have been receiving number of calls as well as smss asking me to payoff...FOR REASONS UNKNOWN TO ME.I have till date not swiped this card anywhere..complaints to CUSTOMER CARE CENTER have also gone futile..Now for past few days number of call from Bank have increased to around 10-12 in A DAY., , which is causing immense nuisanse and discomfort to me.Neither any body at the bank is interested to look into the issue and solve this.I am certainly going to take stern steps if THIS STUPIDITY ON PART OF BARCALAYS CONTINUES .

                                      i have never purchased the Barclay credit card. but i am getting daily calls from Barclays credit card harassing me for payment of Kavitha on my phone number [protected]. despite of my repeated requests denying that the numaber does not belong to Kavitha i am being harassed. hence forth if i received or harassed by you i have to take legal action.

                                      even i am receiving missed calls from some of these numbers ...from barclay...only missed calls...and when u dial that no. back no one responds...i got a new mobile number from vodafone...that number was assigned to some person previously who i think must have done any transaction from barclay...but i don't understand what is the problem with barlcay ...if the bank wants to resolve any pending issue ...the bank people can just call the person and resolve the issue directly...giving missed calls ...and that too to a person who is not concerned with barclay is really annoying and very distracting ...

                                        My following email explains the experince and torture of being a Barclays Credit Card Customer

                                        Thank you for being of enough pain for being a Barclay Customer and continue to do so even after offering to discontinue services after paying what was due.

                                        I would again be taking time out to describe my problem:

                                        24-May-08 12588.35 13-Jun 11-Jun 12588 (dropped at Dayal Opticals, Lajpat Nagar) Bank called me for two weeks saying payment not received and suddenly the payment got debited from my account

                                        (dropped at Dayal Opticals, Lajpat Nagar) 500.00 61.80 360.44 44.55 This cheque was never received by the bank. Till here however I had agreed and paid the above extra charges.
                                        24-Jul 23262.33 immediate 30-Jul 21240 500.00 61.80 440.43 54.44 Paid to DSA but still bank did not receive it for more than 2 weeks. And as usual fraud DSA who give all sorts of fraud numbers and addresses. NUMBER NEVER PICKED OR RECIEVED
                                        also attached is an email (email content as below) which waives my charges of 360.44 & 500 from June 08 statement which never reflected. NO INTER DEPARTMENT COORDINATION
                                        after this I broke card and sent it back and received a letter dates 13th September asking for a due of 1056.67
                                        24-Sep 3456.5 immediate What for??

                                        I have attached all the communication received and sent to Barclays so far and propose that there are no dues which I have to pay. All that is shown due are late fees & interest charges which I’am not liable to pay. Had it been my fault would have paid these small amounts and have enough capacity and intend to do so.

                                        Its been a pathetic experience with Barclays and highly de-recommend the services, infact given an opportunity would never even want Barclays as my client for being so disorganized, dishonest and non customer oriented approach. The most disgusting, ill trained & abusive customer service team have ever come across.
                                        The latest one is some Manoj Kumar calling from [protected].

                                        BARCLAYCARD/PRIORITY CIRCLE — LIFETIME MEMBERSHIP NOT WAIVED OFF

                                        The rules and regulation showing that the customer can withdraw from the programme before 21days from the amount debited on the card. I called their executive on 08.04.08 & withdraw my membership & the amount debited on 30.03.08. Now they are harrasing me to make the payment.                                         This is to intimate you that Barclay Bank and I now have a payment dispute.My card no.XXXX XXXX XXXX 1947, has been suspended on 14 th June 2008after so many threatening sms from Barclays. I have made a payment of Rs. 1000 on 28 th May (Debited from my a/c) against a bill of Rs.5400, due date 2nd June, MAD- Rs 240. Copy of Payment details/ bank statement enclosed (ICICI bank cheque 247680) in a letter sent to Nariman point Barclay Office.Statement Period 12 Apr to 12 May.I have called/sent mails several times to your Customer Care Service centre. But without any responses. You are mentally torturing me.

                                        One Executive identified himself as Imran acknowledge the reciept of the cheque but he told the payment would be updated within 24 hours. But afer one week another executive told me they have not recived the Cheque. This is disgusting service provided by you.

                                        Now another bill generated including Late payment charges.I request you to resolve this dispute soon and activate my a/c again. IF ANY UNWANTED incident happens between us you and your people may face dire consequences. Equivalent to your T&C, I would also hire a third party to engage with you and your executives at your responsibilties.

                                        1. i always pay bill on ever 2nd of the Month while my bill become Rs 8466. bt have got Bill from ur Customer Care of Rs-8706. Due to ur Customer Care.

                                        Barclays Credit Card — statement not reaching, additional interest being charged

                                        This is with reference to the above. Getting barclays credit card was the worst mistake in my life. Pathetic customer service. Rude and obnoxious persons on the customer assistance line. Statement of account not being sent at all - how does a consumer know what is being charged. Additional interest being charged every month. This is a money making racket. The collection person comes only after the due date and deposit the money much later!!!

                                        Need answers how to tackle this. This is just ripping off innocent customers.

                                        I have a Barclays EPL card & the cust care gave me a loan of 1.65 lacs which i didnt need @ that time, & i paid 6 installments without any statemnt.. I dont know why their cust care no doesnt work & Y they cant send me the statemnts for the prev mths.. Nyway after asking the cust care to send me statemtns by email, I recd the 7th statment finally!                                         While promoting your priority card(times card), on phone your representative told that this card carries the benifit of 30% discount on purchases through out the life time + some other freebees. At that time itself I told him that I want all this in writing. He told, on receipt of the documents and if you are satishfied with the offer, then only you make payment otherwise there is no compulsion. After receipt of card and other gift and vouchers, I found that there is no mention about the 30% discount. But the bill for the upgradation is sent followed by SMSs. When I contacted on customer care, it is informed that there is no such offer and complaint is forwrded but I have to make payment. I also wrote you letter regarding this but there is no action. I want to bring to your notice that the commitment of 30% discount is not fulfilled while sending the card hence I will be returning this card alongwith old card without making any payment.                                         The costmer care people never care the costomer they simply ask the costmer to contact over email
                                        The collection agents from Delhi very harrashly behaved that they going on telling that remitt the minimum due they never listen to the costmer what telling they irritated me like any thing i am BP patatint while riding tey are calling while working thy are calling

                                        For simple example I have takan a loan and preclosed the loan in the month of march tey putting the charges and that charges went up to 12000/- it is fare on the part of the bank so i asked for the statment for 6 months till date no body in the bank responded one MS suruchi promised me to send the statement after a heay talk on 12 07 2009 my shooted and she told that tey have received the preclosure cheque amt after gone thro the stmt i foud that on 17 3 2009 the cheque has been received and thy had credited the amt in the account the on 12 7 2009 again contacted in the night one mr amit kumar answerd that total amt outstanding tin the account is only late payment and again went thro the statement onely one time the payment recived by the bank one day after the due date

                                        Dear Sir / Madam

                                        I have been used the card only two time 1st in June 08 ( Rs: 247.50) & IInd in July 08( Rs:10000 )as shown in your record but has never came across such pathetic customer service and such an annoying service by any Bank. The bank which boasts of an international repute and behaving in such disgusting manner.

                                        I have paid Rs:250 on 25.07.2008, Rs:550 on 30.08.2008, Rs:1000 on 01.10.2008, Rs:2000 on 06.11.2008, but in November Statement i saw that Rs 6741.60 payment was mentioned as purchase while i have not purchase anything then i told them about this cteating they have essure me to check & revert but they did not do so then i told that i dont want to continue & send some to clear the balance payment but they have not respond & reguler sent the statement without correction after that i paid Rs:2000 on 12.12.2008 but when i have not seen any responce from your side i have diside not to pay untill your service personal not approch me but they did not approch.

                                        One day all of sudden one person came thru M/S City Master Delhi-110092 on 19.4.2009 and ask me to pay then i have tols all this story to him then he called his senior and they have ask me regarding my problem i have told him that i dont want to continue this card & want to sattel the matter since i have purchse on two time i.e Rs:250+10000 =Rs10250approx & paid till Nov 08 Rs:250+550+1000+2000+2000=5800 & would pay only balance amount then they have calculate & ask me that your sattelment ammount would be Rs:6000 then i have ask them to claer the same because i dont want to any tension which you people are giving me since long then he told this time you pay Rs:1200 cash & balance ( Rs:4800) we would take end of April-09 i said ok & paid cash to Mr Kamal ( Reciept no:C 699613 )but come with my NDC then i will pay after that no one has came.

                                        Once again on 04.06.2009 i got the call from your Mumbai office they have told that have you satteling your accounts i said yes but he should come alongwith NDC then they have told to pay Rs:600 only to Mr Manoj thru BSA informedia p Ltd vide cash reciept no:C 784273 but next time we will send someone with your NDC & you will have to pay Rs:4200 only after that as useal no response.

                                        Since i am also working with an reputaed company like ONIDA & knows all customer right i can go consumer court also but i dont want to do so.

                                        I have decided firmly that never again will I be associating my self with this Bank and would not even recommend to any one of this bank.

                                        I hope that I would be previlaged enough after loding complaint here that I will not be receiving any SMS or calls from this bank hence you are requested to do the needful asap.

                                        Barclays Credit Card — Manuplating my accounts and statements

                                        This bank registered my mail-id and started sending statements on it. I didnt have frequent approach to this id, I gave the id for informative purposes and not for sending statements. There was a certain purchase by me in the last quarter of the previous financial year. But as i was not receiving the statements the payment was not being done. After some months the bank contacted me with thousands of charges laying on it for non payment of the bill. The bank did this intentionally for shere manuplating me with the charges and geting its profits increase. And now the bank is harresing me to pay the bill or they wil list my name on CBIL. This is pure manuplation on there part, there is no branch in ahmedabad and they are doing this type of things. If the branches open then they'll loot the customer by manuplating the accounts.

                                        This is regarding my application for credit card. My appl. ref no is [protected]. I was told your bank will revert within 21days. This was communicated on the 2nd of July. Today it is 15th of Sep.2009. There has been no response from your side. Positive or negative I demand some clarification. Please look into the matter as soon as possible.
                                        I made a complaint against Barclays Card on 23-09-09, but nothing is heard from bank.

                                        Barclay Credit Card — Bad service Experience.

                                        I have a Barclay Credit card. i regularly used to make payments up until recently when i was unable to make the payment of Rs 600 of my card due to some personal reasons. That's when the torture started. I started getting at least 20 calls a day from collections team. i told them that i will make the payment next month. They said that i will have finance charges to which i agreed. Still they continued to make calls. Every time i gave the same information. I realized that they were not doing anything with the info i gave them. Finally i decided to close the card as the torture continued for 20 days. When i was planning to close the card, they gave me an option of converting my outstanding into EMI. As it was convenient to me i agreed. They asked me to make the first payment of Rs550 and informed that the rest will be taken in ECS. They even got approval for the ECS. The first installment is due this month 16th. For the past 10 days i again started receiving calls from collections team. When i told them that i converted the outstanding into EMI they say they don't have that info. When i called customer service they say i don't have to pay anything. I still receive calls every day. There is one rep Govind who even spoke very rudely with me. He even asked me why i am not paying when i used the card. He argues every time when he calls. i also have 5 other credit cards. I have a gold card with Citibank for which i have a due of 3.5lakhs. But they are very humble when they talk to me. I strongly advice not to go for Barclay as they are worse than a local financier. They don't respect their customers. Even my friends had bad experience with Barclay. They all canceled the card.

                                        My following email explains the experince and torture of being a Barclays Credit Card Customer

                                        Thank you for being of enough pain & disagreed for being a Barclay Customer and continue to do so even after offering to discontinue services after paying what was due.

                                        I am Tejinder Pal Singh, Date of birth :[protected] and am a customer of Barclaycard and my credit card number is :- [protected]. and i paid all the credit card dues on time. To my surprise, I got a SMS from Barclaycard in august 2009, saying I have credit due and suggested me to pay the amount immediately. I immediately called up the customer care department of the Card and clarified with Mr.Vijay on the phone "[protected]" he said that this time you just pay 454/- for the barckley and after two days we will send request letter to close your account & lookafter your extra paid amount by the same time on 27/9/09 i droped 454/- sum of amount with cheque number:-430137, SBI Bank in favour of barckley and again am surprised this month i got a sms for the same for allready paid amount, for my this paid amount even i got a Thankyou sms from your bank . now why i have to pay Rs:-674 /- 37 paisa as a late fess of my paids? everytime they left due in my amount as late fees fine.I paid extra charges.

                                        Nobody hear me as i called to mumbai office and gurgaon office "[protected] " as i spent more than hundred of rupees on phone bills all the time they lift me on hold.They just transfer call to another to another person . Ur Coustomer Care Services is too Poor. never take Response of anything. always gives us Excuse.They never give all information in one time. i[censored] r not able to rectify to above mentions Problems then in such a condition i m not able to pay extra .they dont update paid amounts in system.All that is shown due are late fees & interest charges which I’am not liable to pay. Had it been my fault would have paid these small amounts and have enough capacity and intend to do so.

                                        I also spoke to Mr.Darshan & Mr.Neeraj for the help & told them that I did't get any courier for the same and its not my fault . by the end of the july i paid all my due credit's. Mr.Darshan told me that you have to pay Rs:-674 /- 37 paisa due to your late deposit amount of 454/-.as i already metioned i droped cheque before due date and this is not my fault that i dont recieved any statement till 27/09/09 on the date of deposting cheque.
                                        Why they puttings new due amount in my account ? Its been a pathetic experience with Barclays and highly de-recommend the services, infact given an opportunity would never even want Barclays as my client for being so disorganized, dishonest and non customer oriented approach. The most disgusting, ill trained & abusive customer service team have ever come across.

                                        I deeply request you please clarify the truth and reverse me my extra paid 's and close my Barckley Card Account No:-[protected] and cancel my card.
                                        I shall be greatful to you for the same.

                                        vide cheque no' 559657 of STANDARD CHARTERED. dated 27/09/2009 at your drop box on

                                        22/09/2009. i have recieved the sms from your bank on 24/09/2009. that your bank has recived

                                        the above chaque as a confirmation . but the current statement of october show that the payment

                                        was clear on 01/10/2009. in respect of this bank has charge the late payment fee .

                                        so i request you to please remove the late fine immediately and do favour

                                        Barclaycard — Too much charges

                                        sir,
                                        I had gone for ecs from my axis bank account for barclay credit card. the ecs request for the month of april was bounced from my account due to insufficient fund. i got this information from the bank via sms following which i contacted the bank via customer care. i was told to make alternate payment which i did, sending a cheque for an amount of rs. 820/- . the cheque was of standard chartered bank, dadar branch and it was dropped at skypack drop box Hotel Malini, Hadapsar, pune. for many days i did not receive any feedback from the bank following which i contacted the bank again the fedback i got was they did not receive the payment. duing this period i was receiving the sms for the payment. again i called up the bank and placed my complain to look into the matter. the reply to my complaint was given as the cheque was invalid. thereafter i asked the executive so as what to do next. the executive said that in case the payment was done both the payment of Aril and may 2010 will be done through ecs in may. now i started receiving calls from collection department of the bank saying the payment is immidiate. i do not understand when the due date is 3 rd of may 2010 why i am being harrased calling again and again for the payment? and now i came to know that i have to pay rs. 550/- for bouncing the ecs and 660/- for late payment and some other charges including which i was told to pay about rs. 1200 extra for just one ecs bounce. please help me.

                                        Barclays Credit Card — Painful Experiences as a Barclays Credit Card holder

                                        I have been a Barclays Customer for over 2 years now... It is surprising to know how they get away inspite of adopting fraudulent practices ::

                                        1.My credit card due date is the 28th of each month
                                        2.Religiously i deposit my cheque by the 24th of each month
                                        3.Surprisingly every month the cheque is presented only by the 1st or the 3rd or so
                                        4.Bang comes the next bill with Late Payment Fee, Interest, Service Tax on Late Payment, Service Tax on Interest etc etc
                                        5.How come the cheque always reaches them 2-3 days after the due date?
                                        6.To add to this, their customer care executives (atleast thats what they call themselves) call atleast 20 times a day saying we have not received your payment and ask for details of the cheque details, which even inspite of patiently giving it every single time, they say they cant update the record till they physically get the cheque, so they keep calling till the 3rd
                                        7.I call up their customer care to lodge a complaint and they say you make the minimum payment and we will reverse the late payment in the next bill, which never happens
                                        8.Bill after bill the late payment fees keeping adding up
                                        9.Now 3 months ago, i stopped making payment towards late payment fee and paid up all the transaction amount
                                        10.These guys are hounding me with a min of 25 calls every single day, when i tell them the reason why i dont intend making the payment, etc etc they still insist me to make the min payment so that they can sort it out the next month, which would never come...

                                        Innumerous calls and emails have not resolved my issue...
                                        CAN SOME RESPONSIBLE PERSON AT BARCLAYS PL GIVE ME SOME PROPER RESPONSE AND RESOLVE MY ISSUE????????
