My consumer number is 7842 and my cylinder is delivered from Isakathota in Visakhapatnam. The agency is called Prathibha Bharat Gas Company.
I booked my gas on 27-9-10 and the gas was delivered today, 27-10-10, after having an altercation with the girl who answered the phone number 2010558. She cut the phone off while I was talking.
We are here since about 4 years, and in all these years we rarely received our cylinders on time. Generally we have to wait for over 15 days before we receive the cylinder. We were told very often that there are no 'boys' to bring the cylinder. We've gone with our own vehicle and picked it up ourselves on some occasions. We are not allowed to book another cylinder until 20 days, and such unending delays causes us a lot of problems.Very often nobody answers the phone. Or the phone is kept continuously engaged. It becomes extremely frustrating.
As customers, I think the least we can expect is the service of delivering the cylinder. Some delay can be tolerated, yes. But not a month.
I am writing to you hoping that action will be taken with regards to this. If after being irresponsible, the people of the agency do not even have the courtesy to apologise and make good the mistake, it reflects very poorly on your company. I have been patient for a long time now, and I hope you will give me a positive response.

Bharat Gas LPG Domestic Gas Cylinder — NON DELIVERY OF CYLINDER AS 15 DAYS HAVE BEEN PASSED AFTER BOOKING

Dear Sir/ MadamRef: Cons 9361, Distributor: Premier Gas Service.
This is to bring to your attention that I requested for a gas cylinder on 18th Oct,2010 & I got the cylinder delivered on 08th Nov 2010. (after 23 days!!!!), WHY ? Is it a diffcult job?
When we contact your call centre the representatives don't even have the decency to answer our telephone ? They just pick up the receiever & put it aside...
What standard of professionalism is this ? How should we manage to run without gas cylinder for 23 looong days ????
Morever there is no manager or responsible person in the office of Premier Gas Office. I fail to understand how can any office premises work without any manager on duty or any equivalent full time responsible officer on duty being physically present ?
We have 2 infants in the house. We cannot give them outside food for health & hygenic reasons. How are we suppose to manage for 23 days ????
The damage done to us is irrepairable.
We are 15 years old customer, we use gas service for our & our family's convinience & not to go through any ordeal.

1. I am writing this letter to apprise you about the poor service by the Bharat Gas Agency over here. Gas supply is NOT only irregular but it is supplied to those who can pay extra amount. Getting supply at residence is a upheaval task over here. Even after 20 to 30 days of prior booking one has to constantly request to supply the gas cylinder.
2. To elucidate the case I booked the gas on 13.10.2010. The booking registration No was 1377. I had been ringing the agency since last four days but all in vain.
3. The behavior of staff employed is awful and erratic. Here nothing moves without gratification. In view of the above may I request you to take strict action for improving the service failing which why the agency should NOT be cancelled.

I have Bharat Gas connection consumer no.33120 from your dealer M/S. Harsha Enterprises, VV Puram, Bangalore. It is possible to contact the Prime Minister or President of India but not this dealer. We have to continuouly ring all his phone connections for hours together to contact him for booking. By chance if any of the employees of this dealer pick up the call, it is like winning a lottery.
The employees of this dealer behave very rudely. We make gas booking through sms and get a confirmation of booking no. but the dealer says that it has been automatically cancelled. HOW ????. If it is cancelled, why we are not informed about the reason of such cancellation ??. We wait and wait and we go to them, they behave rudely ?? .
The consumer is helpless and is forced to bribe and get it from black market or face all sort of problem without the gas.
There was a news that the working people can get the gas immediately by paying certain extra charges in the odd working hours. Please implement it immediately in Bangalore also. We are prepared to pay extra in this way instead of going to black market. Please implement this scheme immediately and take action immediately against this particular distributor.
