I too have been getting this SMS from 52906001 saying

"Dear customer you are being charged re.1 towards your service renewal Thank you".

I too have never subscribed to any services of BSNL. I went to the BSNL frenchise in Mapusa, Goa and told them of the issue. They told me to send SMS to 52906 with the text 'UNSUB ALL'.

I was told that within 48 hours it would stop. It has not stopped... moreover what about the money alreadt deducted??

The only solution for this I feel is taking BSNL to the consumer court.

hai sir. My mobile no. is [protected].. There is a problem with BSNL service. The problem is, iam not able to call to cutomer care number. Whenever i dialled to that no. it says "the no. is busy". Iam facing this problem from 2 months. This looks like a silly problem.. But without contacting cutomercare how can i know new offers in our network.. kindly tel me how can i over come this.
