I am resident of KD- 231 Pitampura, Delhi-88.
From last few days we have been getting polluted sewer / drain water from our taps.
This is a severe threat to our family's health.

SEWER WATER IN DRINKING WATER PIPE LINE

I AM A RESIDENT OF K-83/84, 1ST FLOOR BAL UDYAN ROAD, UTTAM NAGAR (WEST). DIRTY SEWER SMELLY WATER IS COMING IN MY HOME FOR LAST TWO MONTHS. IN THIS REGARD I HAVE LODGED COMPLAINED MANY TIMES THROUGH SMS BUT TILL TODAY NO ACTION HAS BEEN TAKEN BY CONCERNED OFFICIAL OF DJB. I HUMBLE REQUEST TO TAKE ACTION ON THIS MATTER IMMEDIATELY SO THAT I AND MY NEIGHBOUR ALSO MAY GET FRESH DRINKING WATER.

Sewer Problems — Fed up with sewers and neighbours

I m resident of A-36, Rohini, Sec-2 32 MTR Janta Flats and the condition of the sewer in my vicinity is worst than the worst.
It is always filled up and coming out all the time in front of my house and i dont get a space to step out and the neighbours specially residing in a-37 are delibrately closing all the 3 sides except the side of our home and they used to put lot of water in their sewer lines so that all the waste material comes out and flows in front of our home and all the time we are living in a hazardous environment.

I am totally fed up with the sewers as well as neighbours, i cant live with these illmannered and backward class neighbours.Even I have called the police for the matter and they have done nothing because they are good for nothing.

This is with reference to numerous verbal complaints to The MCD Sewer Department, Green Park Ext. & Green Park main, Delhi regarding sewrage pipe jam in our house 152, csp, DDA Flats, Safdar jung Enclave, New Delhi 110029, for the last 15 days. The minor opening of the sewer line by the sewerage staff does not work for even a week and the same problem is erupted again & again, . Due to this, it is giving and odour in the house. We are facing very much problems. please make major repairs in the sewer line so that the problem may not arise agin.

I want to put your attention towards the problem what ever my colony member and me are facing due to the blockage of sewer since last two month. We have sent many complaints in DJB office in Shri Niwas Puri JE Mr. N.D.Sharma and Jal Sadan Lajpat Nagar office and registered through Grievance Registration from complaint s number are W00003210, W00003211, W00003212, W00003209, W00003259, W00003268, W0003269, and W00003296.

We get reply by DJB out of area. I am the residential of 1/17 D.D.A. J.J.Colony Garhi, our area is comes under Giri Nagar zone and sub zone Okhla what we are tolerating, but nobody is ready to take action against these complaint. Sewage water mixed in drinking water and we get through tap many peoples are suffering from disease and many are hospitalize. Drinking water is too much smelly and dirty, senior citizen prays to God for death.



It is humble request to look into the matter and to do the needfull. I will really very thankful to you for yours great and king support.

I m balmukund. resident of b-498, Dakshin puri, Dr. ambedkar nagar. New Delhi.
sir, there is sewer problems, in front of my house, orally i had lodged multiple complains to the area complain office. but every time they just pretend and said we do not have enough materials to repair the sewer, sir, our street sewer r more than 30 years old, now they all become useless and acquired pores between the walls, therefor water is soaked by the sewer walls and our houses r getting water ceiling.
currently sewer is filled by malwa, mitti, etc. but employee neglecting by telling this is not our work, then who will do this work, it is request to u please take immediate step towards our sewer problems, which causing inconvenient to nearby residents .

I am a resident of RZ-I/75, Old Sombazar Road, Mahavir Enclave, Part II, New Delhi-110045. Front and back side of my house sewer lines over flows most of the month. We get it cleaned privately by engaging private
people every time it happens to over flow. Inspite of several complaints made earlier the concerned authority does not response to the complaints. DJB is raising bill every month and charging us "SERVICE CHARGES". DJB is not providing any "SERVICE" to claim any charges. They are supposed to do maintenance work for Sewer systems. Water we get is "SALT" water for the past 10 years yet they are raising bills for "POTABLE WATER". We are purchasing Potable water every day and also paying water bills for the connection taken from DJB. That's how the DJB, whose chairperson is the Chief Minister, functions.
Please let me know who is responsible to look after the maintanance work of sewer lines in our area.

I would like to inform you tht the out side combind drain of sewer & rain water drain backside of our house is blocked last 22days.After our Repeated Complaints their hasbeen no action taken by aney officer.

I'm Rajesh Pandey, r/o D-3A/32, Dayal Pur, Delhi-94, since last 2 weeks we are not getting regular water supply in Gali No. 3A, Dayal Pur (West Karawal Nagar). There are lot of illegal water connections in the main pipeline of the road. So that the people who are not paying the bill they enjoying free water and we people are not getting water.
We have to borrow water from another residents to fulfil our requirement for save our lives and for other daily works. We have register lot of complaints against it to our nearest JAL BOARD office and the Area Engineer. but they didnot take any action.

So, I request you to please do the needful for the same as soon as possible. because we are really in a big trouble.

It is submitted that I, JC-724379A Sub Atar Singh (Retd) was retired from Army since 01 Mar 2009 after that I have purchase a small floor at Nanhey Park (A-60) T/Floor and I have applied for water connection on 04 Feb 2012, DJB ZRO, Dwarka Mode office has allotted registration No DJB/ZRO/SW-I/2012/886. In this connection Mr Ravi Sharma (Mob No [protected]) has informed on 01 Mar 2012 that three connection has already been provided in the same building, hence it is not possible to provide another connection. On 06 Mar I have again requested to Mr Ravi Sharma for sanction of water connection and Mr Ravi Sharma told me that your application has been sanctioned and dispatch to DJB ZRO, Dwarka Mode office but today (14 Mar 2012 ) I have confirmed from office that no files have been received from ZE, (South-West-I) D-Block, Janakpuri Office last 10 days.

2. In view of above it is requested to advise concerned staff to provide water connection accordingly.

Sewer water mix with drinking water for the last 15 days.Complaint lodge to J.E.
on telephone on 15.03.2010 and at the evening time near about 06.45 p.m. Mr.Devinder Pradhan comes at home and check the water mixing some medicine in water and check it and said the weater is not for drinking purpose it come some fuel smell from it. Than I rang up with emerency telephone no at 25193140 at 07.29 p.m. for emergency supply at his presnece. But there is not response till today i.e. 16.03.2010 You are request to do the needful at very urgent basis.

Delhi Jal Board — supply of highly contaminated water

Sir,

I am resident of Inder Puri, New Delhi-12. I would like to draw your attention to a serious problem i.e. supply of highly contaminated, dirty and smelly water from the last fifteen days which is not even suitable for bathing, washing and cleaning purpose. We get water supply only once in a day which is also at very odd hour 3.30 a.m. NOw it start affecting everybody's health. I request you to look into this matter on urgent basis before it get worse.

I would like to highlight the ineffectiveness of the Delhi Jal Board Deptt and the respective officials responsible for the same.
Instead of paying bills on time we are not getting the Basic amenities required for any person to survive i.e. WATER.

But these officials are least bother to live upto the responsible for which they are in the system.

I live in Vipin Garden in west Delhi and the water supply coming to our area is like coming from some drains it smells like sewage water and black in color.
I wish to offer this water the DJB officials and they will realize the peoples pain.

I have complained several times but these bluddy BABUS are least bother as nobody is there to ask them about pending complaints always showing as pending in their ONline system.

We, the residents of D-Block, Hari Nagar, Clock Tower, New Delhi - 110 064, place before you the following facts for your consideration:-

1. That the residents of D-Block Hari Nagar is not getting water supply for the last one month. That's why we are facing lot of problem for want of drinking water.

2. That the adjoining blocks are getting proper supply of water everyday.

3. That we have met our concerned area MLA regarding our water complaint.

4. That the concerned area MLA has given instructions to the concerned J.E. to find out solution of the problem.

5. That the concerned MLA and J.E. asked the residents to give land for planting a submersible pump in the D-Block.

6. That the residents of D-Block is not in a position to provide space for planting submersible pump.

7. That the residents had made a request to the concerned J.E. to plant the submersible pump in the nearby park.

I complety agree with your complain.Even I am having the same problem.I complained online twice abot the billing problem of DJB (Bills not received since last two years) and sent a complain to CM Delhi also on Delhi Govt.Grievances Registration. I think they hardly check the complains made on-line. The e-governance of CM Sheila Dixit is a total failure. CM is concerned about commonwealth games and beautification of delhi ( at the cost of citizen's money and taxes) which is not bad, but the citizens are totally ignored.

respected sir, i had recieved my bill dated 18/6/2009 bill no. is 13226, area 2/cz-2, water connection no. -35624, non domestic-2.addressed at 2830/18 beadon pura, karol bagh, new delhi.my bill amounted to rs.24479. which was a surprisae to see. basically my reading on 15/7/2008 was 1300units and on 17/2/2009 it was 1416 that means it is for a period of 7 months average reading per month is 16.57 units.and the current billreading is 1750 units i.e for the period 17/2/2009 to 26/5/2009 is 334 units that maens 105 units for one month which is impossible, again we rechecked the meter by ourself on 2/7/2009 it was 1780 units i.e again 20units per month this shows that the meter is not in the right position so i request you to check the meter and allow us to make the payments on behalf of the last bills, which is wrritten on the back side of your bill in informzation coloum no. 12 . i shall be grate ful so that you sort out my problem as early as possible otherwise i have to take matter to the higher authorities, waiting for a affermative and helpful response from your side

I am staying in Pocket-C of Sarita Vihar (C-365). In a cluster of Flats and including mine, we are compelled to consume stinking water supplied by DJB, since last 2 months. We have been complaining on phone to the officials up to EE (S) IV ( Mr. SPS Chauhan). Every time we are assured that the potable wtaer supply will be resumed shortly, but with no respite. The water is so stinking that you even can not smell, what to talk about consuming the same. After repeated complaints, some o[censored]s are provided Tanker supply for few days. We are forced to call private Supplier for daily needs also.

I hope that the problem shall be looked in to with highest priority.

I am a resident of C block Mansarovar Garden. From past 4-5 days, we are having dirty and contaminated water supply from Delhi Jal Board. Delhi Jal Board — Delhi Jal Board Water Supply

We are the residents of Gali no 6 Govindpuri Extension, Kalka Ji. The water supply is very very poor in this street. Water Bill is regular but supply is very irregular. Because of illegal connection water supply does not reach to the residents living at the end of the street. Very big pipes are connected to main pipe line by some residents and get plenty of water and waste water by washing cars & roads on the other side many residents are living without water for many days. We request you to kindly check the water connection in this street and disconnect the illegal connection with main pipelines in this street. Please make regular inspection so that the residents can get water properly.

There is a shorage of water supply in Mangol Puri N-block. Water is available only for 5 to 10 minutes, in this period only one bucket can be filled and sometimes when is available it smells like hell. So kindly plaease take some action and solve this problem, I will be very thankful to u.

in New Zafrabad (west zone) the entire colony of B Block is getting drinking water mixed with sewer water, i.e. water with black colour.i have lodged many complaint on helpline (vide s.no 5960, 4854, 5059, 5371, but unfortunately nobody has turn up so far despite having reported that we are working on this leakage and will be repaire very soon, All the sample reports of water shown that there is Water Contamination but still no serious action is taken in this regard which cause we are facing abdominal dieseses and we dont have proper drinking water.The higher authority may kindly look into the matter regarding lethargic attitude of the maintenance staff of DJB.

HI This Is Rahul Grover from Sant Garh Near tilak nagar in west delhi and our locality has been facing BIG problems with water supply from a long time now. Earlier water supply used to be there in nights around 1 till 4 o clock for which we had to sacrifce our sound sleep and fill up water at odd hours of night but these days the situation has worsened and the water does not come for days and when it will come it will come for only 30 mins to an hour and for that we have to stay awake from 1 o clock in the night till 5 in morning running the motors again and again to check if the water supply has started or not . A complaint was done to the local authority last year as well but nothing happand but this year i am not going to sit quite so i am raising this problem in front of you now to see what will be done about it. Our Govt makes a lot of promises at the time of elections and after they win it they forget the people who gave them victory so PLS look into this matter and do the needful to give us a relief from this problem as WATER as we all know is something without wchich no one can survive... PLS TAKE SOME ACTION and if i dont hear anything i will be raising this issue to PRESS and BJP govt so that they can bring this problem in eyes of sleepin authorities

There is no water supply in Jahar Gali of Naraina Village for the last 5 months.In spite of repeated complaints to Delhi Jal Board, DJB Hon'ble Vice Chairman Mr. Ramakant Goswami no action has been taken to restore the water supply. Is there any way to come out of this miserable situation? When will the Delhi Jal Board authorities come forward for the rescue of the Jahar Gali residents specially WZ-353 to WZ-360 & WZ-324 to WZ-343 who are living on the tail end of the street. The residents living in the from Gali having high powered suction pumps get all the water leaving not a single drop for the tailenders? Will the DJB authorities wake up and take action against these persons so that others too get some water to live a normal life?
