[Resolved]  Country Club — All facilities what was told to us, are not there in reality

i n my husband got a call from these Highland Holiday Homes PVT. Ltd (BAJAJ Group), that u won a gift. we went to this AJ International Hotel (Shivaji Nagar, Bangalore). Over there a guy named Shiekh was present, he told us that i[censored] take our H3 membership card u can use the facilities of Country Club once in a week free, but you have to pay for the Food n Drinks over there. We took the membership. When we contacted Country Club, over there they told us that only enterance is free n for the facilities we have to pay them.

These Highland Holiday Homes- BAJAJ Group is really a big fraud company. Now we want our money back, n they are not returning it...

I was a victim too but fortunately got my money back. Call me if any help is needed.

I am Kalyana Chakravarthy who utilized the services of the company.
These people are big rouges.
I booked for 2 nights in 2 rooms in Highland holiday home in Tirupati.
They alloted only one room and they are not refunding the other.
Also we checked out without finishing even one day.
They are refusing to compensate that as well.
I am trying hard to get get my money back. They took the money through my debit card.They claim that once we are members we cannot cancel.
Requesting your valuable suggestions and advice on this.

We also subscribed to the scheme couple of months ago, and have been trying to get out of it within 2-3 weeks since then.
Their promises of "good hotel", "refunds for non-utilized period" are all false. They claim to be associated with Bajaj group, but Bajaj group is disowned them (
I wonder if the government can do something if it knows the open fraud.

Just now got a call from Bajaj Highland Holidays -
A woman named Sonali Joshi (though she did not sound maharashtrian accent) called up -
asked 3 questions and declared me as a winner
and asked me to collect Gift voucher of Rs 4500/- from their Deccan, Pune office. Asked to come along with my husband.

I m also victim of this big fraud.I m from mumbai.
As Bajaj Holiday Highland has told us u ll get the membership of turf club and also equally Redio club.As there will be holiday for ten days wherein if we dont use it we can sell it to them. if we canot contact them as there is toll free numbar. As i m lawyer by profession, i m planning to take some lagal action. but before it we all come together, and pursue the matter. Thanks!

I am also took the membership from Bajaj Highland Holiday Homes.

It is a fraoud company please don't take this membership.

I paid 17000/- from my credit card. I want my money back.

i am also a victim of this fraud company. i have taken membership by spending Rs. 30, 000 two years ago. now when i want to cancel the membership they simply deny and say no refund will be given.
need to find a way out and get the money back.
they say the i need to find out a party to sell my holidays and get the refund. (who would be intrested to buy such a bad deal).
all promise that they made were verbal and nothing has been mentioned on the papers that they given so please guide on the ways to recover my money.
This is completely fraud company & the people working with them do not know customer relationship. I have paid Rs 40000/- package, which i gifted to my wife so we can plan our trip, & still i have not used it as this package is complete . They have messed with the wrong person this time, i want my refund.
I am Jyoti warrier staying at mulund in Mumbai. We had also invested Rs. 45000- in Highland Homes and were promised that if we dont want to utilise the holidays then it will be bought by them and also we were told that we will be getting back our entire principal amount at the end of the period. Now when we tried to contact them they are saying that we wont get any money back and also that we have to find customers for the yearly 10 days if we want our money. Unfortunately we got dazed by their method of approach and their false claim that they are attached to Bajaj group. We want to get refund of our money. I am wilson joseph from Mumbai. I too paid Rs. 47500 in Bajaj Highland holiday home. They promised during their promotional time to give us club membership, untilised days would be refunded but later on none of the facilities were granted to us, Even the holiday home booked by them in Dalhousie and Dharamsala claiming to be 3-star but was not a 3-star hotel and the Pricing was high for us compared to what was given to others who ooked into the hotel during the season. we want the refund of the money of subscription. Somehow I also felt in the trap of this but managed to get my entire amount back by disputing the transaction on my credit card. I took the national + international for 5 years for Rs 41, 000/-. But after doing the transaction, just searched on the internet and came to know the trick and fraud. Highland Holidays homes is a big fraud, they also gave me gift as joining gift, I approached them thay I want to cancel the membership but they refused so I disputed the transaction and after that they reliased that they have not received the payment and started calling me about that they have not received the payment and will deactivate the membership If they dont receive the payment, so I told them please go ahead. and just for goodwill i thought of returning the gift as i was not going to use their membership and visited there Khar office in Mumbai to return the gift so they started that cancellation charges are 25%you should have approached us before disputing the transaction.
We had a call from Bajaj holiday homes and were asked 3 questions.We were asked to come to Andheri wher we were literally forced to take the package.We invested 10000Rs which if wedidnt utilise would be converted into National saving certificate. The time limit has already passed awy in 2008.We tried in vain to call on all the contact numbers they had mentioned.We have with us all the documents including the National saving certificate but donot know where to go for justice.We want our money back.Kindly suggest what action should we take.

As well as visted to your affiliate property at coorg, it was wonderfull holiday
i & frnds got everything we odered for, campfire, BBQ, boating, Safari & ample amount of time relax beside the pool and good food

I am surprised to see a positive response by Preeti. I think, as we have already lost money, the only option available is to utilise the services and derive some returns from it. If Preeti has honestly mentioned about thier good services, I would like to request her to provide further details regarding how she ensureed the booking is done correctly, additional charges that are applicable for using facilities ( safary, campfire, pool) at affiliated property etc to avoid any more surprises. Has anybody anybody successfully rented from your package and received money out of it.

Till now my experience has been bad. When I booked this package last year I was told clearly that even if you don't avail any holidays you just need to inform them that you are not going to and that they will rent out those and return you the amount. Actually this was the USP which made me to go for it. However recently when I called them up in the same regard they came up with the excuse that you need to avail the vacations at least once before they can rent out your holidays.

Then I tried to avail it however as I can see from this mail thread I got the same response. No availability.

I think these people are pretty prepared with the excuses and hidden clauses.

We have so many people reporting the fraud. Can we actually do something about it?

Is this forum only for discussion or we can initiate some legal action?
I think we all should bring these crooks to the justice.
I have been trying to book a holiday for the last 3 years and every time they tell me there no rooms!!!...
MY member ship in the HIghland holdays OSMB-767 H-12 Gold in 2001 .and promised a return of 7200/- of rentel income from the 3rd year if I Let it for rent yearly 2 days and you will be gettig it for life time it is the promise of one person Venkatesh and JJ is the executive persons of that group who called me and my wife at the Manipal centre Bangalore 560 001 in the 2001 and collected the money of 25000/-
at night 10.30 in my house at Vidyaranyapuras giving a promise that this is the last day for becoming a member you will be getting lot of benifits - latter I found all the promises are bogus and fraud .then I utilised 2 days holiday in Tirupathi by paying 730/- and send my letter for refund of rental income of 7200/as promised earlier no replay received then on 29.05.06 and 09.07.08 in this letter I have stated if no replay is received I will take this matter to the consumer court . till to day they have not bothered to replay . This comapay seems to be a big fraud and having some links with gangster and roughs they have not fit to be born for a human . all the victims are collectivelly lodging a police complaint I will also be one amung with them or on any day we all the victims go the Bangalore office a stage a Protest for refund of amount .
I have membership for 2 years, again from the same promotional event in Raheja Arcade, and their service is pretty bad, i have been trying to book a resort and it never happened, recently i called to book them 3 weeks prior to my trip they asked me call just a week before and when i did they are not taking my booking, instead they are giving me more and more options even if i had finalised on a particular resort, and still i haven't got ne reply on the status of my booking. where i'm planning to go on trip tom.(Ne way i have taken care of the stay myself) . but this is really getting too much and we got to do something about it..

Please let me know if you have any idea how to get our money back, and we should also think of some way in highlighting this is others. Who can say their money atleast.

We have to go to the consumer court to get our money legally, but i dont have enough proofs for it.

Hi! We too are the victims of this fraud company that has duped us of approximately 62K. as a Gold Member last year. All sorts of promises were made by them, but now they just don't want to listen.

We faced all such problems & we are sick & tired of their behaviour. Let us all join our hands together & launch a joint complaint against the company and demand for damages and refund of our hard earned money.

I also paid the money 2 yrs back, but all that they told during presentation wasnt true, I asked them to return my money but they never accepted . I have not so far availed of their services and i want my 37, 000 back, Can anyone guide regarding this. Mr Gopal telephone number posted here in the first comment ( who promises to help) is not reachable
