[Resolved]  Dtdc Courier — Product missing in the consignment

I had purchased a pen drive online from ebay and the seller sent it to me through DTDC courier. When I received the courier and opened it, I was shocked to realize that the product was missing from the packing. The cas inside was cut open, pen drive taken out and the pack put back in and re-sealed the envelope from outside. After lots of to and fro with DTDC, it came up that the product was stolen in transit. When it was put in courier at Delhi it weighed 0.2kg but by the time it reached Hyderabad it weighed only 0.145kg. In spite of this weight difference the company just delivered the product without checking the reason. After lots of deliberation, DTDC agreed to reimburse the amount to the seller in Delhi. So, the seller re-sent me the product again. To my shock, I relaize the same thing has happened again, product was taken out and re-sealed. This time I checked the consignment before signing the delivery sheet and so didnt sign the delivery sheet. When I wrote a amil again to DTDC, these guys are so irresponsible that they keep passing the blame around from one department to another but nobody cares that this is happening for the second time in succession. If a reputed company like DTDC can be so shameless I cant even imagine what is happening with other smaller companies. Till date nobody has even bothered to call me and explain in spite of complaining twice and sending repeated reminders. I have spoken even to th managers in the company and still no response. Till date I have not received the product or the reimbursement from DTDC for the second time theft. The delivery sheet is not signed and still they dont care why the product was not delivered. When I track the item on the website, it says "Out for delivery" since the last 10days. This is a very horrible experience and heights of shamelessness and irresponsibility from DTDC.
