I am Rajesh kumar ex-employee of DTDC COURIER & CARGO CO LTD., DATE OF LEAVING THE CO .-1ST OCT 2008, working place -patna, i had applied for PF money (Dated -05/02/2009) but 5 months after
till not clear my PF money, Please help to solve my problem.Details are given below

Shipment no. U20494019 was given at a wrong place and person.
my address is lane no. 10-B, and the courier was given to a person in lane 11-B
my mobile no. was already there on the label.. but i guess the courier guy did not have time to call me..???
i got a call from the person to whom it was given.. saying that he has received it.. and to collect it fro him...
when i received it the package was torn..???
my question here is do not the DTDC person verify the person who is supposed to receive the courier.
if it woud have been any other valuable apart from my study books.. i would never have got it back..
this is supposed to be taken seriously..
the label on the courier reads DELIVER BY HAND ONLY.
here the case is completely different it was not only delivered by hand but only to a wrong address, without calling the mobile no. mentioned on it..?? to completely different person..
please take care.. and a action is supposed to be taken..

I had booked my courier thru' a booking centre of DTDC called Mukta Enterrises (MF844), Thane which has contact no.[protected] on 20TH JULY, 2009 PAYING RS. 80/- to Mangalore (bearing a POD No.M[protected]. But till date (i.e 27th July, 2009) my courier hasn't reached the destination..i.e. Mangalore and I have not been getting any proper response from DTDC's Mukta Enterprises.

They have charged me Rs. 80 / and I being a consumer has agreed to pay that price coz of the urgency involved in delivery of document . But unfortunately, there is a breach of contract from DTDC's side. While I call the number am told that courier goes to Bangalore from Mumbai and then to Mangalore...which itself was a very hilarious reply . A a sensible logistics company would never work backwards in terms of their logistic route.

I beleive that DTDC is ROBBING millions of CONSUMERS in the mane of courier by charging Rs. 80/- and giving a delivery that is far worst than a normal postal service. As you all know that my document if sent by an unregistered post would have only cost 20/- (for that size) and would have reached Mangalore within 5 days.

Hence, this is a sheer case of Cheating & money making racket by DTDC Courier& Cargo Limited. I would hence ask consumers to be beware of such companies and stiop using such company services in future.

I had dispatched a gift item (worth Rs. 3000) through DTDC from Indirapuram to Kolkata(Lake Town). It was dispatched on 22nd June, 2009 and received on 23rd of the same month. The package was opened by the receiver in the presence of the delivery man and the item was found missing, though the inner and outer package was seemingly intact. A complaint was lodged by the receiver then and there.The agent at Indirapuram (One Stop Shop) had never inquired about the contents of the package at the time of dispatch but after I reported the loss, he expressed doubt about the existence of the item inside the packing and denied any responsibility. A complaint was lodged with the Ghaziabad Incharge, DTDC, Mr. Pandey. But it has yielded no results.

Z88777395 on18/04/2009.The said courier is reported to have been sent to your
karawal nagar Br.at Delhi on 22/04/2009 by your Delhi Br. So far I have not
received the courier & your Delhi Br. is not attending to my complaint which is lodged
with them vide no.202 dated 15/07/09.please look in to the matter & reply soon.
Please note that in case you fail to deliver the courier immediately which contains
original certificate, I shall be forced to file a case against the DTDC for damages
and I may also consider giving a news article against DTDC in prominent news papers.

An Important document (CBSE Rank Document) required for my daughter's Admission into NIT's was couriered from DTDC (Plus) Branch, Gajuwaka -Visakhapatnam-Andhara Pradesh on 29th June'2009 at 10:30 AM...Vide Consignment Number.V01702940, We were informed by DTDC staff that the document will be received at the destination (Surat) within 48 hours...Even till today ( 13th July'2009) DTDC staff could not trace this document/consignment and was not delivered to my address at Surat...The last date of Admission was on 5th July 2009 ( 1st Round) ...It was surprising, that reputed Firms like DTDC handles important consignments so casually..???...Please suggest, what actions I can take againist DTDC for not fulfilling the contract terms (timely delivery) and lost Consignment..?? I am attaching an acknowledment from DTDC

This complaint is in reference to a courier which was booked with DTDCPlus Docket no V01677228 on 25th June from Indrapuram Ghaziabad U.P for Dharamshala. The packet contained application form for govt job as a doctor for my wife . The last date of the same was 28th of June.

we got conformation from DTDC representative that it would be delivered next day without fail in case we paid more and booked it under DTDC Plus. The packet was not delivered till 29th evening 5pm.but was rightly refused by the recipient .

We have still not got the packet back .The last date was again extended but due to your negligence we have again missed it.
I tried to contact every one whom i could but no body helped i called

People are ignorant and giving unjustified reasons.

After also paying special charge for safe delivery my courior not been deliver to me yet, the courior along with some importent doc was delivered from kolkata to me at bangalore, even they convinced my sender that it will safely deliver to the recipient safely within one days but alredy over, even after enquary they are also claiming that they had delivered the same already but me, whom they ware to deliver no received then how they are showing successful deliver? My courior docket no is- V01706432, How they can so irresponsible that can handover to anybody else may be road beggars, without knowing me?

CONSIGNMENT NO. - k35264609 COURRIER FROM PATNA TO DELHI SEND ON 27/06/09 NOT RECEIVED YET

Dear Sir,

I submitted a packet to send to USA on 24 Jun 09 to one of DTDC branch in BTM LAYOUT, 2ND STAGE, BANGALORE. They collected the charges and packet of some essential medicines to send it to my Brother staying in Madison, Wisconsin, USA, along with the Doctors valid prescription and purchase voucher.

There committment was to deliver the packet within 4 days of time. Which did not happen.

I tried to track the Airway Bill - N92582041 for that packet from their website on 27 Jun 09 and did not get any information for that. Since then I have been calling repeatedly and writing emails to their customer service department and they are simple keeping on liying that this will be updated in next few hours and delivered in time.

I have talked to one of their customer support executive -"Divya"- ph[protected], and she has given same kinds of false committments but written a couple of email also to me asking me the same quostions again and again even after receiving the the scanned copy of the billing receipt.

I sent a parcel containing 3 half-sleeved shirts from Hyderabad to Amritsar using the elite sevice of DTDC. The parcel was sent on 7th March 2009 (Consignment number:H[protected]. It was received on 13th March 2009. But one shirt(costliest one - Van Heusen) was missing. I have emailed all the concerned people regarding the matter but NO step has been taken. On calling their number, they just keep transferring the call from one point to another.
Is there any solution to this. The authorities at DTDC are not at all bothered for the security of customer's items. This is like stealing the items we entrust them with.
Please provide justice to this. The cost of the shirt was Rs 1500/- and it is in no way a less amount.

Dear Sir,

I Bhaskaran S availed the services of DTDC for sending a parcel (Weighing - 275 Gms) to Bangalore from New Delhi (POD *Z91928510*).

The services were availed on 22/06/2009.

The courier was received at Bangalore on 24/06/2009 at 12:30 PM.

When the courier was delivered at Bangalore my sister found the package was tampered with & some of the items have been stolen.

When the courier was despatched the total weight was 275 Gms & when we received it was only 112 Gms.

This is a sheer act of irresponsibility.

I have filed an FIR & a complaint against DTDC in the Consumer Forum.

I demand an immediate recovery of the stolen items or the reimbursement of the value of the stolen goods.

Mr.Ashok Cheriyan (Mobile No.[protected]) personally requested him to
take care of consignment in proper way Unfortunately following things happened

1. Received at Bhilai with badly damaged condition of boxes and product
2. Your Bhilai office people not aware the contents in the box.
3. Your Bhilai office people are not aware whether it was Insured or
not.
4. We refused to take delivery of product
5. Your Bhilai office dispatch this consignment with transporter no
DTDC person visited along with our consignment

In-spite of given instruction and packed as per the requirement DTDC
damaged our productExpectation from DTDC
Without further delay please provide us the our product dully repaired
only from HCL or new product from HCL

In this regard i given mail up to CMD level but no one taking intrest

i have booked my consignment from Ville Parle (W) (my home). DTDC courier man come to pick up the consignment on 7/4/2009 and the destination of the consignment is Colaba (mumbai). there were two shirts in the consignment and i have to return to CharagDin shirt shop situated in colaba. DTDC had not deliver for one month and they did not telling me that it has been lost. after one month they confirm with me that the parcel has been lost and i have to fill claim form with the bill of the shirts. by doing so they confirm me that at the time of the pickup i did not give them the bill of shirts so they cant give me my claim and i lost my shirts by them so i have to bare the cost but at the time of pick up dtdc has not ask me for any bill or disclouser. my advise to readers dont go to a courier company like dtdc who are not taking care of your goods.

On 14th june an envelope was couriered to a wrong address. when asked for contact number or details of address delivered at, was given a reply of 'Company seal'. No number of dtdc customer care is being received. Rings going but no answer.
on contacting head office delhi, a mobile number of manager given but after first call through he has been cutting calls n not replying back.

I have sent a courier consignment from Lucknow to Muzaffarpur vide consignment no. W10020003 THROUGH DTDC NATIONAL BLUE SERVICE. The consignemnt was later on lost from their end and after many days i was told to lodge my claim for it. i lodged my claim on 06.05.2009. I was told that the claim would get resolved in a month. But noww its more than a month and no claqim has been resolved. The concerned person is giving me only false assurances. Please take up the matter a surgent and sort it out accordingly.

My brother sent a percel vide consignment no.K33347218 on 17 June 2008 and reached Gandhinagar on 22 June 2009. The DTDC center at SUMAN TOWER< SECTOR-11, Gandhinagr said that they are not delivering items at my residence. Where as, before few months a packet was delivered by DTDC at my residence. More over most of the Courier Companies delivering goods at our society and even delivered at my residence. My residence is in a prominent location of Gandhinagar( Near INFOCITY and National Institute of Design). DTDC people are always behaving like this as thy got the fame due to the callous attitude of INDIA POST.

May I hope to get a favourable reply: I now, DTDC will not pay any heed to my complain.

I regret to inform you that you as a chairman appear to be a failure in the eyes of a common customer.Your company is full of irresponsible and casual employees who need to be trained in how to deal with customers.
I had sent a parcel of new clothes to the value of 5, 700Rs from Baroda to Delhi on 10th June and the docket number was A 15479650.On 12th June it showed "out for delivery" status on net but wasn't delivered till 15th june.I made a complaint ad no action was taken.Till 18th June it showed the same status on net. When I called up customer care at Baroda the girls at desk gave me Delhi number and asked me to find it out myself.The Delhi people were disgusting in their attitude...the CP office told that it was delivered on 16th june but the proof of delivery was in the pocket of delivery boy called Vasu who was on leave.The franchise person said it was delivered on 12th june itself...
Anyway as soon as I sent out complaints your website declared that it was delivered on 18th june.The fact is that parcel hasn't been delivered.Disgusting!!!
Now delhi office says this docket number parcel never arrived in Delhi.
The employees at Baroda office never get back to me...I have to keep on calling them and after a while one so called incharge has stopped picking up my number. Baroda office customer care girls refused to hand me branch manager number whereas another person Mr Kalpesh said that there was no branch manager in Baroda and the seat was vacant whereas the fact is that Baroda does have a branch manager.
The attitude of Delhi people is disgusting.Te company seems to be a thief company instead of courier company.It was my first brush with your company and I regret it very badly.
I'll urge all the customers never to use this courier company.Go for first flight and Maruti which have goodwill and credibility.
And Mr chakraborty I demand that you make sure that my losses are compensated.
