Pathetic Service of DTDC

I have used the courier service to coureir a packet with Delhi on Monday (2nd March 2009). The consigment no was Z86100879. However there is no details about the whereabouts on the websites. I tried their Delhi no[protected]nobody picks it up, the let the bell ring forever). other no[protected]picked by someone). First he transfered the call and I waited for 5 min in vain. Again I dialed somebody picked, transfered, but he was clueless....

hi sir,
This is shrad kumar kavre, print maker artist from balaghat(m.p.). I had sent application form of fellowship by courier from shamla hills bhopal to Ministry of Culture (S&F) section, Shastri Bhawan new delhi by dtdc courier on 15 jan 2009. the deadline for this fellowship entry form was 6th feb. 2009. but till now there is no record or result related to this courier. I enquired about it multiple times but i didnt get any...

not received the product which was send to me from flipkart.com

i had placed a order with flipkart.com for a book .They send it through DTDC courier, Tracking Number is: B51832791. when i search for it whether it arrived here or not i found it had arrived here for last 5 days and on asking them why i had not received it they keep saying and giving me different numbers and contact that person.but the whole process was futuile and i am not able to get....

Extremely pathetic and disgusting service

I work for a company where couriers are frequent. This was my experience when my friend couriered me a document from Pune to Navi Mumbai.
He couriered the document on a Tuesday afternoon and they told him that it would be delivered on the following Thursday morning.
Thursday came and went. On Friday, I called them in the morning and lodged an official compaint with DTDC Head Office, Mumbai as the courier was extremely urgent....

Such a pathetic service - Not received my courier in 20 days even

I am totally got pissed of with the level of quality of service offered by DTDC courier. I am expecting a courier on Feb 8 th 2009 and still i have not received it .

There is no escalation point to complain such a stupid system and i myself following up but nobody bothered to deliver it.

wrongly mark undelivered

My one letter that is send on 04/02/2009 by ICICI Mumbai office to my Residential address- 2/52, Vivek Khand Gomati Nagar Lucknow, with POD M39818791 and same was return with the comment the OFFICE always closed and yet not received again.
I want to know one think that if the latter send to the Residential address that, can it mark return with the reason Office closed.

I have communicated for the same and mark a mail...

Misbehaviour with customer by the DTDC franchisee (Mahajan)

I have already launched the complaint on the DTDC site my no is FDB0021667. There is no proper response from them till now. The DTDC franchisee person misbehaved with me and told me he wont give me my courier.

3 months delay and still on . . . .

I feel very sorry to post my complaint against DTDC Courier, Mumbai. I had sent a courier to Jatni, Orissa with No – M37132846 on 24th Oct, 2008 from their Borivali, Chandavarkar Road office.

This consignment is still undelivered to the addressee with the reason that consignment has been intercepted by Sales Tax authorities at Kolkata.

DTDC franchisee jalandhar

DTDC Franchisee jalandhar ( near SkyLark hotel) ask for very unreasonable price for courier.
when I send the parcel ( less that 250 gm) from Gurgoan to jalandhar, it cost me Rs 35. When I asked the same parcel to send from Jalandhar to Gurgoan, they asked Rs 100. I asked them to show me company price list which they did not show and with too much of overconfidence said that they will change Rs 100. Do whatever you want....

Most regret to express my views about DTDC that they even dont bother about the customer. They just ignore the customer. On 17th January09, My father send me by DTDC courrier from bihar to chennai. they told that it will reach upto 21th january but till now i did not received. I do not the status even. they have given the some recept. my father send me certificate through the DTDC courier.

Mail Handling and Theft of Consignment

On 30th of December, 2008, I mailed a greeting card to Kolkata from DTDC's Magarpatta (Pune) brance, .
Inside the envelope, there were some gift vouchers and some other valuable papers.
It reached Kolkata on 1st of Jan, 2009 and handed over to the proper person. But inside the envelope, there were only the greeting card, all other items were stolen. It was quite clear from the envelope that it was opened before delivering.br...

Courier Lost # DA758792, no response or reimbursement

I sent a courier through a DTDC franchisee from Pune to Jammu (Tawi) on 22nd October, 2008. Since today, i.e.15th December, 2008, DTDC courier team - either Pune or Bangalore never responds to my calls or mails. I have received just 3 e-mails in lieu of multiple e-mails and daily phone calls. I have spent more than 400 Rs. on phone calls to DTDC offices, while the actual consignment was worth only 250 Rs. Still the office people are not doing...

Delay in delivery of bank documents

I had sent a courier through DTDC couriers in Bangalore on 5th December 2008 (Tracking Number - U[protected]. The document was expected to arrive at Edappal(Kerala) by 8th December 2008 as per the promise of the person who booked the courier. The courier was to be sent to the Canara Bank, Kuttipuram Road, Edapal. I enquired 2 days after the expected date of delivery and got a tracking information that the courier had reached the Calicut office...

Late delivery / Not received

I had send a parcel mumbai to dehradun but still is 6 days and parcel hav'nt recieved..when i called the Malad Branch they said we 'll check to the customer care so call after 1 hour still after that they said customer care is busy call more 1 hour ..when i called customer care they said wait for some time and they talking with there collegues for movie and dinner..after that they said we'll check and call u after 1 hour ...now...

I had sent gifts worth Rs 500 through DTDC, Vashi branch.The company charged me a hefty amount for the same, promising me that the gifts will reach Gandhidham within 2 days. It took more than a week for the packet to reach finally. high charges for late delivery

I wanted to send a courier to Chennai. (i'm from bangalore).
When i checked with the DTDC domlur branch they told me to book it in special in which it reaches the other side by next day morning within 10 am. They charged Rs.120/- (whereas the normal charge is Rs.60/-). It is double the normal charge and i paid since it reaches early morning.
But when i checked with the party to whom i sent the courier, he was not received...
