[Resolved] Godrej Refrigerator — Cooling Problem | |||
I bought my Godrej refreigrator Eon 240 litres around 2 years back. Everything went well for 2 years. Now it started giving me the cooling problem. I reported the complaint at Godrej Service center in Bangalore on 17th April viz complaint no. [protected]. Service Engineer came to my house and after lots of troubleshooting and 2 hours of diaognising, he came to conclusion that compressor is faulty. He told me that compressor is under warranty and you need to pay for change in Gas and service charge for which net amount apid by you will be around 1300. Service Engineer told me that Compressor does the cooling for 2 mins and stays switched off for 1 mins which is not the normal behaviour. Hence please go ahead with chnaging of the compressor. I said go ahead and repair the refrigerator. There was no response from Godrej and after 3 days I recieved a message that your problem is resolved and complaint is closed. I raised another complaint to Godrej Service center for not doing cooling by refrigerator on 22nd April with complaint no. [protected]. After calling them several times and persuading them, they came to my house to change the compressor. Compressor was changed on 25th April which took 4 hours with gas filling and everything. Service Engineer demaded Rs.1250 which I paid him. He told that now ice will be made in refrigerator and temprature can go below 0. To my surprise next day I was unable to see any ice in my refrigarator. I called the service Engineer on 26th April and did not got any response from him. Even they went ahead and closed my complaint. I raised third complaint for my same problem on 25th of April with complaint no. [protected]. Service provider people at HAL didn't bothered to pick up my call even after 100's of trial onto number which I had as [protected] and another mobile number as [protected]. I called them on saturday 28th April aroun 20 times and they informed me that we are busy in meeting and would be sending person in evening. Even in evening they did not responded to my call. After several attempts they told me that executive would be visiting me on Sunday morning. On sunday they did not even attended my call. After so many attempts they said that we'll come on 7th of May. Even 7th May they did not turned out. I called them back on 8th May and did not got any response. On 9th May they said that we'll come but never turned out till evening. On 10th May they came to my house and asked to empty the refrigerator and said that problem is with the freezer. Then he rechecked and after 3 hrs of diagnosis, he came to conclusion that the NEW COMPRESSOR which they replaced is faulty one. I am really fed of these Godrej Service Center people. Then again they said that we are going to come tomorrow with the new compressor and replace it. I asked then to collect my refrigerator and rectify the problem in it and deliver it back to me. It is none of by business how do you guys fix it. Now they have to come to my house to collect the refrigerator and I hope they turn out tomorrow. My vegetables and fruits worth Rs.1000 are spoiled due to refrigerator. Even daily the milk is getting spoiled as its Summer in Bangalore. I am really fedup with these Service Center guys. I would suggest everybody never buy the Godrej refrigerator as they provide the worst service in the world. I am very much disssatified with their service. Can you please help me. I have a goodrej pentacool refrigirator which faces some cooling problem recently.i had registered an complaint in godrej service and the technician came and checked it, finally he told we need to fill gas we payed around 2000rs to fill it, it ran well for just two days only after that it was dry till date, now they are telling it is the compressor problem, we are not a fool to spend rs2000 for two days, this is the worst ever service that i have seen.

Godrej Refrigerator — My fridge has not been returned
My Godrej fridge of 30 years suddenly stopped cooling. The fridge was working but not forming ice. i called the service centre and they sent a technician. I had to send the fridge to the workshop because they had to test it to see what was wrong. the fridge was sent on the 4th June, 09.the following week I was out of town; but when I returned i phoned them on the 15th and was told that the compressor was not working and they would have to replace it. A new compressor was costing too much so I told them to please send the fridge back to my house. Its more than a week now and my fridge has still not come. The person there a Ashok said they did not have any deliveries this side so they could not bring my fridge back. How long will I have to wait for a delivery or pick up from this side. The service centre is 30 kms away.

There was cooling problem in my fridge. The first complaint which I made to Godrej Service Centre, Pittapillil agencies, Kothamangalam, Ernakulam(dist), Kerala was in the month of may first week. Since then I am struggling to resolve this problem. Following are the details of the work carried by the Godrej technicians so far.
1. In first visit of technicians from Godrej, they said that the cooling gas in the fridge got blocked and they asked to filled the gas again and to pay Rs. 1150.
2. After 10 days they visited again and filled the gas and I paid Rs. 1150. But again the cooling problem was observed. This time Godrej technicians came after 12 days and repaired again.
3. Again cooling problem observed on the next day. I complaint the same again but so far I have not get any response.
So, I request you to make necessary arrangement to rectify the complaint.

Godrej Refrigerator — complaints not attended by dealer
I have purchased gidrej refrigerator from Vijay Electronic, Bhiwadi, Dist. Alwar, Rajasthan before 10-15 days, its sounds sometimes very high noise, vegitables got unfresh after 3 days only, but we have told that upto 15 days our vegitable will be fresh, got fungus in our storage food, we have complaint so many time to the dealer as well as service dealer at bhiwadi, but till date no one has given response. Godrej — cooling problem and compression
I have purchased Godrej Penta Cool Refrigerator on[protected] of 180 Litres Sl.No.125073 from M/s Southern Agencies, G.T. Road, Srikakulam, Srikakulam District, Andhra Pradesh. During waranty period I have been facing so many problems with this Refrigerator in Cooling Problem. The service rendered by the company is very poor. Every time they used to tell the compressor is not working and it needs replacement and they have been charging Rs.800/- and something for changing the Compressor. Every time they said they have replaced the new Compressor. This is the fourth complaint for cooling problem besides other problems with this product. The service technicians here have got poor knowledge in finding out the real problem and they do not attend the complaint properly and in time. Godrej has the name but when it comes to service part they play very poor. Naam Bade aur Darshan Chote!!! I repent for choosing Godrej Product. very Much unreliable service.This is what suits best to Godrej Company. I advise all to be careful before choosing any Godrej Refrigerators. My referegirator is not working properly. It is not getting cool from inside. My service call number is 855372 dated 26.6.09 but nobody is coming to repair it. some technicians from godrej came and they said that the gas in the fridge was finished. They said they'll come tomorrow but the tomorrow never came. Many a times i requested Mr. Malik and he said i'm sending the technicians they'll come in some hours but there is no response. we have a contract for 4 yrs. since 22.7.06. please understand my problem and send the technicians as soon as possible.

I had purchased a Fridge model GF 21 in oct. 03. Uptill April 07 i dont have any problem. In May 07 i observed cooling problem. I had given complent to custumer care. That technician told me that their
no gas so we have to refil it. that time he told me that it is a manufacturing defect, but we will solve it
and u will not have any problem. That time this whole procedure takes more than one month time.

so i talk to Mr. Rohit Kharade, the area manager. After two days the technician came and said u have
refil gas because their is leakage, ad he dont have the some solution (for packing purpose) so he will come

Godrej Refrigerator — Not colling
Sir,I had purchased a Godrej Refrigerator about 3-4 year back. This is covered with AMC at present. It was not working properly since date of purchesed. I had made complaints. Complaints were attended by the manufacturer time to time and advised me to get AMC for permanent solution. So I got AMC from the Company.
