HCL — cd drive and hard drive not working

dear sir,
i m astudent of iimt,meerut and persuing MBA. Having disappointed,i would desire to inform u that i had purchased a hcl laptop last year. its still in warranty period. but,i m facing too much probs such as,cd- drive and hard drive not working. i also visited my nearest service station. but they are just good for nothing. they didnt satisfied me. and, still the problem persists. i cant even study without a laptop,
so,its an urge to the sir to resolve my problem as soon as possible. i will b thankful to you for this.

how can i install win xp in my b23c2d laptop, when i install data it says about there is no hard disk.

After formatting my laptop i am not able to install the audio driver given in the CD th message displayed is
"failed hd audio driver install".
