[Resolved]  Hcl Laptop — NOVICE CUSTOMER CARE PEOPLE

I purchased a HCL laptop from Kolkata on 20th August 2009. It is only 3 months old Since from the day one I am facing issues like blue screen when booting up and then lots of error messages when I try to play movies using Windows media player or even with the cyberlinked DVD. The main issue is that the notebook will heated up after about 15 minutes o[censored]sing it. So I checked it with the only servicing center at Shakespear Sarani, Kolkata. See after 27 days of repairing, now I have taken my laptpp back home again. I feel very sad that the condition has worsened than before the repairing. My laptop is having 3 years warranty including the extended warranty plan. So I want a replacement or a full refund for it. Because I can't use the laptop for any purposes due to the error messages that I need to shut it down manually. To whom should I ask for this replacement or money refund. Please suggest.

before two yrs i purchased hcl notebook 7916 via but after sometime it started problems in display and keys i forwarded it at hcl service centre ahmedabad for reapairing under warranty.but my problem could not solve and resultly other problem also creating like sreen problems software and drivers problems. inspite of formatting my system could not run properly.the major of hcl they dont provide drivers on his offcial side while other companies provide all drivers with full information.i try so many times to search drivers on the side. but not find. recently i found hcl drivers download on www.http://203.90.122.162:8080/examples/jsp/download/pon_downloadlist.jsp when i started download from the eforesaid link, which is connected to official side of hcl, donload somethink else on the name of drivers. now i m planing to file hard complaint against the company regarding services of the company.

I have placed an order in HCLSTORE.IN on 30 th Jan'2010 ( Invoice # 10143) .the sales excutive said with in 72 hrs shipping will be done. But upto now, i didn't get my laptop. The Customer Care People are really dumb and no one care about it saying we deal only techinical complaints. we dont know about sales.

I wish i shouldnt ordered HCL Laptop at that time. Imagine if sales dept. is that much careless about customers, then what about after sales, Repairs...

Till now no response from HCL about my laptop shipping.


I suggest all, to avoid this careless HCL manufacturer goods.

I purchased a h cl laptop having series B38 from "delta marketing, prince complex, !st floor, Gondia, Maharashtra"on date01-08-09.After three months the light automatically offs and it blinks.By adjusting its display monitor it recoups after 5-10 seconds.At the time of purchasing the shop owner claimed that he will maintain any type hardware problem up to 01 year.I sent the laptop 05 times to the shop for same problem, every time he is avoiding .I am a govt. employee and now i am posted at a remote place which is 135 km from Gondia and 110 km from Nagpur.So please conform me is it a minor problem or major?also send me Ur official repair shop address at Nagpur.Thank you
