[Resolved]  HCL Technologies Bpo Services — Remember! This is the company that sucks!!

I would like to narrate my real life experience with this company!

I joined the company on 15th December 2008, had undergone Voice & Accent Training under Ms Richa Sharma, successfully cleared the assessment but unfortunately I was a part of the group who could not be absorbed in any Process and hence we were asked to leave the company on 21st January 2009.At the time of leaving, we were told by our concerned HR Mr Sriram Bhagat that our Full and Final payment (which includes the salary for the entire 1 month and 6 days that I worked for HCL)will reach us positively within 20 days. Unfortunately nothing came by the promised time period and whenever we used to call Mr Bhagat, we used to get a standard reply like that of a voice recording machine that the process is getting completed within next 1 week and hopefully we will get a call from HCL to collect our F & F cheque. Needless to say that at the time of writing this review I am still waiting and nothing has materialised even after 3 months of submitting my forced resignation.

I am really amazed to note that a petty F & F payment needs so much time to get processed by a company who has built a goodwill throughout the globe over the last 30 years for its HR practices. Also the company is headquartered in Noida itself, hence any possible delay in courier is also ruled out. In my previous company which is also an equally world renowned brand, Times Of India, where I worked for a total period of 6 years, my full and final was processed from Mumbai and I had received both the cheques of my F & F as well as my Provident Fund within 30 days of my date of relieving.

I am also shocked to know that nobody has any clue regarding the above matter and everybody directs me to Mr Sriram Bhagat who is a bloody Voice recording machine to us to say the least. In fact I personally visited their N2 centre and met Mr Vijay Pratap Singh who was my recruiter but it seems apparently that he was also clueless in this regard and we have to rely entirely on the whims and fancies of Mr Bhagat.

I am still in contact with some of my colleagues who were also forced to submit their resignation on that fateful night, and some of them are still struggling to get a decent job till date, and they are finding it real difficult to mange their daily household expenses as most of them are outstation candidates.

I have already written a stern warning to one of their senior HR person Mr Amit Bhandari that if my pending dues are not resolved within the next fortnight, I would be forced to take help from my previous employer The Times Of India.Since I have worked with them for last 6 years, it would take me one day to go to the Business Times editorial and publish the entire story which would not only expose the harsh reality of the company’s HR policies but it would tarnish the so called rosy picture that the company portrays in front of the corporate world. Unfortunately Mr Bhandari also seems to be a mute spectator to our problems in spite of being from the HR and I am yet to get a reply from him in this regard.

I am writing this review in order to make all those youngsters, many of those who might be thinking of starting their career with this company, aware of the harsh realities of this apparently world renowned Indian MNC. This is a serious messege from somebody who has already fallen prey to this worthless company, Pl do not be lured by the flashy advertisements of this company, aired on TV, think again before joining there!! Also can somebody be kind enough to take me out of these doldrums!!!

Hi moly, I do really agree with u hcl bpo sucks and it stinks to the core, only lickers and cock suckers in hcl bpo are getting promoted, I worked with hcl bpo chennai and worked with an american isp called at&t, This process at the begining it was damn good, but right now it is horrible in chennai, people are getting chucked out of this process for no reasons, and for chucking out they mention a sick reason called ZTP, AND MOST OFF THE TEAM LEADS are cock suckers for the managers, they do what is being instructed by their managers expecially there is a team lead, who does all the malpractices in process and he will violate the process and force his agents also to violate the process and i[censored]r call get monitored in client monitoring and i[censored] are caught the entire managers and tls will join together and blame the agent for the malpractices, which has been internally forced by the managers to do so, also hcl bpo leave policy sucks, i[censored] are interested to know more abt the story email me to my personal id i will tell u a lot of things happening in hcl bpo which is in chennai

And I feel like publishing the entire story which would not only expose the harsh reality of the company’s HR policies but it would tarnish the so called rosy picture that the company portrays in front of the corporate world.

This is kiran from a.p . unfortunately i will buy a laptop in chennai that wast company is HCL they will give two years of warranty but they will not take any action about customer complaints . from next day on words i will face problems with that leap top i have entire job sheets in my hand . so any one can plz tell methe procedure to make a complaint on this issue they will not answer my call tooo
I have worked for 5 years in this highly unproffessional organization which does not have the word proffessionalism in its dictionary. N3 is being ruled by a mentally sick woman called Neeta Dagar. She has charted out a hierarchy of her own preferred people for key posts in that building. Its been 3 months since I have formally resigned and there are people who are making me dance for my full and final settlement. HCL makes pathetic BPO and that fact can be validated the time you call the reception which has a voice recorded message which transfers you to the operator who very quickly hangs up on you. This company should recieve the "Worst Employer's Award" for an entire atleast 5 year period. My deepest condolences to India for tolerating such a tragedy called HCL.
Oh God I'm so confused. I've worked for 6 years in BPO's in Mumbai and it has been a really good experience working with my previous employers. I just recently got interviewed for this HCL BPO in Delhi. I just thought i would do some R&D now I'm going haywire whether to join or not. Can anyone tell me more about this HCL BPO. Help!!! indian MNC — not providing relieving order

my fiancee who is working in a indian software MNC for past 3 years. on joining document they have mentioned there should be 1 month of notice period before leaving the company. she have got a better job last month and she had submitted the paper for revealing on April 1st. on April 8 they have sent a notice to all employees that from April 1st the notice period is been extended to 2 months. but its not been informed to her when she submitted releaving papers and she have agreed to join the new company by may 3rd since by may 1st one month notice period is getting over. but now their pm is not ready to releave her since they have not got a replacement for the past 5 weeks. since the situation is critical my fiancee requested the new company office to delay her joining date by a week [on may 8th]. first her present company pm agreed to relaever her by 3rd then they said they will releave her by 7th but in the last Minuit they have mailed that the notice period is 2 month and she have to work till may end. in this situation its a big threat for her carrier their new company would not accept her joining date late than 8th. she is totally flustered, this will harm her carrier and mentally. need a suggestion how to get rid of this situation and get releaving letter on or before 8th. please guide us
Yes It is good company indeed, I am about to complete four years now and I find no reason to be dis-satisfied of anything expect salary - To be honest you will never be satisfied with your salary in your life... just go for it you will never regret.

The guy who raised this post must really have had bad experience in HCL and I do not doubt it but there is no company in the world who has 100% employees speaking good about it..

I have lot of friedns who worked with HCL and have moved on but All of them have one thing in common.. They all miss HCL very much...

If You you have got issues you must raise it with right people., Visit HCL and talk to the managers, if they dont listen talk to their managers.. you were an ex-employee and you have all right to do it ;

Hello, I totally disagree about the comments given for HCL as a worst employer. Hcl is a good company to work with. I am going to complete 5 years with the organization and the company has allways helped me. If someone is not happy they will surely realize it within a year time and will not stick to the system for 5 years. They are very structured and organized. If anyone has a problem they should have voice for it then and there with the right people.
Ok you HCL lovers. What happens when HCL isn't paying you and no one seems to care? No one to call, no responses to emails, nothing. Emailing accounts payable doesn't work. The upper level managers can't seem to get answers either. What a freaking mess HCL is.

I suspect the posts I read here from people that like HCL are the exception rather than the rule. I have talked to no one (and I've talked to numerous HCL employees and contractors) and not a single one is happy with HCL and generally for the same reasons. Hard to get paid, no structure to the organization, etc.

I have worked in HCL for around 2 years. So I know about this company very well. For a few reasons it is a good company however overall it is not so great to work with. If you talk about salary, while you are working you will never face an issue. It will be credited to your account every last day of the month but in F&F condition you might experience the issue. There is no growth in HCL. No new processes are coming to it, infact the main process of HCL i.e. BT, they have lost it. From 1200 seater now it has come to 200 odd seater. At agent level you have to really work hard. In HCL we have 10 hours shift and if you talk about transport it is horrible. No AC cabs, forget that even the routes set by them is pathetic.
High levels of Attrition ... long long shift hours 10 hours and above are the norm ... low salary (you would get it on time though) ... no growth unless you are good in kissing ... arrogant cab drivers ... lousy transport routes ... no AC Cabs ... You aren't allowed to go home even if you aren't feeling well ... the reason? login requirements ... and if you leave then the F&F is "FINISHED AND FORGOTTEN" ... so don't bother asking for a full and final ...
I am also strugling for my F & F. No one is picking up the phone in EHS.
Mr bhagat has been trained to deceive and cheat people.He will toss people from one place to another.He is there in hcl to harass the employees
hcl has not paid my salary for 1 month.And then it proclaims its a 5billion $ enterprise.What hollow claims.
HCL is far from employee first, they will get rid of you in a second, you can't even contact HR as they don't even respond to emails or answer calls... Payroll is a joke and it looks like it is run from a someone's tent out in the woods... You pray every time to be lucky to get your check and it be correct. The managers are retarded and it looks like they promote incompetence. If you travel you have to setup everything and try to stick you in a [censored]hole of a hotel. If they could they would stick you in a hotel for working girls. WORSE COMPANY I'VE EVER WORKED FOR, DON'T EVER JOIN THIS COMPANY IF CAN...
what if the employee owes money to the company as part of the final settlement? Just curious to know. is there a contact from the chennai office that i can speak to? i really need to clear off the dues if any and obtain all the experience certificates. Any contact person or a phone number from chennai would be very helpful. THanks a lot in advance.
The greatest mistake i have ever done in my life is to join HCL bpo even after knowing its a [censored]hole .., its the heaven for thugs, fit for nothing, brainless as.holes who work here for hours together thinking too much about themselves without knowing anything., because of their job posts as "research specialist", "service engineer" for college dropouts and +2 ppl.., this is the greatest pride they ever get, where the scientists in NASA are also research analysts wat a shame .., if an engineer like me got into this group u r dead they tag u as a person with too much of attitude even i[censored] say i have seen a computer before .., "oh no he has attitude" i am saying this guys please dont join here for god sake i[censored] have self respect and a self esteemed person u will be rediculed to the core just because of wat u r.., please do not join bpos especially HCL
For those who support HCL :- You can say that attitude, work pressure etc are all individual perceptions and it does not reflect the company's actual status. But what about some extreme horrible HR rules we have in HCL ? Like when a person submits his resignation he is aksed to repay his performance bonus which is given and mentioned as part of his CTC ? Why are they holding the salary of the employee during the notice period he is ready to serve ? How would he feed his family, how would be repay his loans in this tenure ? HCL should be sued for this ! This is completely inhuman !
