HCL — cmos battery is not working

Ihave brought Hcl laptop 6 months back. now it doent open. i have shown to local person, he told me that my cmos battery is low, and need to change it. Please Please guide me regarding HCL service center in Pune.

HCL — HCL Brand New Battery Issue

My name is Kshitij Singh. I bought a brand new HCL Laptop Battery (Srno: 07G01A61865M-00B1B) in Rs. 3425 from HCL Infosystems Limited, C-150, Niralanagar, Lucknow on 31st August, 2009. Initially they gave me the battery without even checking if it is working or not since they were shifting the office location. To start with the battery was not giving a backup of even a second after fully charging the battery for more than 2 hrs. When we went back for the battery replacement they told us to wait for 30-35 min which finally took around 1:30 hrs without any valid reason. They somehow managed to arrange for a replacement battery which was having the same problem. They told that they'll arrange another replacement battery in 2 days. After 2 days when I enquired about it then they again told to wait for another 2 days with a reason that the battery has been shipped and has not yet been delivered.

This is an example of worst customer service which I have ever experienced because now neither they are able to provide a workable new battery nor they are willing to return money.

I also have the same complaint with HCL K21 Laptop, which I bought from Cochin (Kerala). The CMOS Battery Problem started just after 9th month from the data of purchase. They repaired and I am still having the same problem. It sometimes start working after keeping it for few days. Now my warranty period has expired. I do not understand why HCL is not taking any action for the CMOS Battery Problem.

I will NEVER suggest anyone to buy a laptop from HCL even if the price is lower than other brands.

Before my mail, approximately 20 people have requested some serious action against these fraud mails, i just hope that the complaints are looked by someone, because i received first on 10 feb, i searched it on net & immedietly i could get information about this scam, so i dint apply. But i got another mail on 13th feb stating same stuff. So if somebody is reading all these above & below mails, than plz stop these scams.

I bought a Desk top computer in Aug, 2009 but there is some problem in Mother Board (LAN). In this regard I lodged a complaint having No. 08C090017 on 8.12.2009. On this an engineer picked up my Mother Board on 14.12.2009 for replacing with new Mother Board withing 7 days. Since, then we are trying to contact again and again with HCL but your employees are not answering properly. Despite giving so many reminders we couldn't receive our New or Old Mother Board. I also received the similar mail from HCL computer limited. But I knew about these kind of frauds so I grew suspicious. Hence I searched through net and found this topic and I was saved . I think that serious and immediate measures should be taken against these frauds who cheat people morally and economically.

I have the same complain as a large chunk of recruits have at this time. It has been seven months and no confirm information yet has come. The depression of being increasing every day with the bad news in the market and losing spirits to perform, to prove ourself for what you have recruits us. Please give some relief to a major chunk waiting for your call.

These HR people, particularly in Indian IT companies such as TCS are known for their notoriety. They think too much of themselves. They don't think before giving offer confirmation to anybody nor do they regret not being able to hire somebody. After all they act as per the requirements existing at the time. They mostly work in close coordination with some project managers who send the requirements from time to time. After all who can you blame if the project does not start or the client takes back the offer?

Just because it is TCS - for all the hype and high handed behaviour they show, it does not mean they can't lose a contract! They are there to make money - for all the humbug about Ramadorai making arrangements for his relative to succeed him in the company, we can be sure wherever these b'tds go they only do for themselves and their own people. TCS has lost its former position and name. Tata's had a very great tradition and a great name in Indian business. They never follow nepotism and favouritism. But look at this fellow Ramadorai - he looks very like brother of Shetty the hindi films villain.

He is a shameless fellow who openly proposes his relation's name as his successor. All people in TCS are ashamed of this man and guys are talking all things behind. Hope the name and honor of the Tata company is restored and this useless fat bald head kicked out of the company.

i got the same ... but with the amount increased to 6300 for the deposit at their HRD dept.. shocking to see such nuisance act from the HCL company what so ever if they say they don't know about such activities...

boss i suffer this problem from last year four times ...one day i got mess up with HCL employee...he gave me the password...i[censored] required just mail me will help u by giving the password ...but after thatu have to change the cmos battery...& that battery location is not telling by the HCL people...This behaiour is full of idsgusting
