[Resolved]  HDFC Bank Bank / Food Plus Card — Pathetic Service

This is reference to my Food Plus card no. [protected].

On 9th sept, I had reported about my lost card on the phonebanking no. My card was hotlisted on the same day. Sametime, i had requested for card replacement.Till now I haven't received any replacement card.

Twice I have been given complaint nos[protected] given on16/09/09 &[protected] given on 20/09/08). The reason for having two complaint nos is due to non-traceable of the earlier complaint no. given by the executive.

Again on 24/09/08, I had enquired about the same. They have send me an SMS, saying "will revert back in 48 hrs".

More than two weeks have passed, still the situation is remains to be pathetic. They are not able to update me the status. Suprised by the standard of services given by a reputed bank in India.

Surprised by the services rendered to their customers. Being a classic customer, it really amazes me. They have never bothered to revert back either through phone nor email.

I am seriously thinking of closing my account from this bank & move on to some other bank.

Dear brother
I received a message on the mobil no: [protected] that I won 182, 000 pounds
I email correspondence on their own set out in a letter: [protected]
Or contact the No. [protected] and then received several phone messages Alimiolat and stresses the need
Transfer the amount of the check for the shipment from London to Saudi Arabia, of course, all this is not logical because I asked them to transfer the value of the award to my bank
The politicians and all the solutions to them I say that I was rejected and they insist on one thing only is the value of the shipment check them, Which is estimated at: 715 pounds,

Vorjawa benefit? Is this true prize ???????????

HDFC Bank — pathetic service

This is to inform u that i have an account with HDFC bank from long time but on recent past it has started giving a pathetic is friday i called up to the helpline no [protected] i have been calling at this no from monday to arrange me a call from my mother branch which is in Andheri Marol;every time i speak to them it is said that i would receive a call with in 2 hours but its not the case.
Is this the kind of service which is provided by the Bank and even in the helpline thay cant provide with the branchs contact no so that we can contact them.atleast the branch would have the no to be contacted, if atleast thay provide us with the no atleast we could contact them and clerar our problems.
i am not satisfied the services of this HDFC bank...i went to the pahar ganj branch...more than thrice...but they do not help and talk very rudely...they are so cold shouldered..i request you to take strict action against them.

I applied for a food plus card from my office last year in NAVALUR Branch. But I did not get my PIN number because I moved to Thoraipakkam TCO office. I applied for a pin through Phone banking, but it gets returned from my Previous branch mail Room. So I request you to send a PIN number for my Food Plus card [protected] to my present Office address. Otherwise give the possible way to add this Food Plus card to my HDFC Salary account through Net Banking.

HDFC Bank Credit Card — Pathetic Services

HDFC Card harasses custmers by forcing them to pay the wrongly levied charges by Bank. Firstly they levy the wrong charges on filmsy grounds and upon making representations reverse the charges but ask to pay for it and pass on the credit the next month to customer.

Once it has been identified that the charges has been wrongly levied and reversed by the bank, why consumer should not be allowed to deduct the amount in question from the final payment on due date? Bank says pay in full (o/s) including the wrong charges with service tax & cess to avoid levy of another charge of finanace and late fee. Ridiculous. Taking a view of this pathetic customer service have decided to surrender the card and advise all to avoid using such banks card.

This is with much agony and pain, I am writing the horrifying experience I have undergone with regard to the HDFC credit card payment
On 23rd Sept 2009, I got a call from the bank executive that if you want to close this card you need to pay a total amount of Rs 3000/- (settlement) however this time you are supposed to pay Rs 1000/- and after one week you will receive a no due letter ( settlement letter) and you need to pay remaining 2000 at that time .. however I have not received any letter from the bank ... Now days I am receiving such calls again.. I guess from the recovery cell ..
Today I received a call from Lajpat Nagar Branch ( from some body named Shweta) .. she was too rude on the phone …and she specificaly told me that I am going to bother you again & again ..

I requested several times to close my card and I paid the amount 3 times too, but they hardly did anything.
It seems that they don't want to close the card. I think they simply penalized the customer, and don't bother the complaints. Now I think the only solution is to approach honorable courts.

I am now getting calls from 3rd party daily, but they are not providing me the details in written. So can you please guide me what to do in this case, as I am unnecessary harassed.

respected sir i am ganesh from mamallapuram. phone no.[protected]. its in my dads name v.e.paramasivam. i am using internet for more than 10 months. internet gets dicconnected or timed out always, i have complained to telephone exchange more than 10 times, but they never cared about this . no of the officer told me they dont know about the problem. please take action this problem. i have already complained this problem before 2 months to u sir..........
any one help me..i want to know the shops in chennai, accepting HDFC FOOD CARD...And is that the minimum amount for using this card is Rs.100??

Sub: Complaint Against HDFC Bank Credit Card Nuisance

Reference : HDFC BANK CREDIT CARD NO: [protected].

Dear Sir,

I regret to inform you and for your kind notice that I was holding and HDFC Bank Credit Card vide no: [protected]. In that card, my credit limit was Rs.2, 38, 000/- and after that Bank has revised and reduced the Credit Limit from Rs.2, 38, 000/- to Rs.1, 77, 000/-. I have used my Credit Limit and I have already paid Rs.2, 77, 371/- against my Card as per their statement dated 17.03.2010. I had no outstanding against my Card. Only some Interest Charges were Lying in my Card.

On that basis, I have requested to Bank to settle and convert my some Interest dues amount sympathetically in to fresh simple EMI after reversing all the Late fees, Extra Interest Charges and the unnecessary fees charged by the Bank Intentionally. Due to my tremendous financial problem, I was not in position to submit my children’s school fees and house rent also which already I had discussed this matter frequently to their customer care executive over phone & at least 14 to 15th times and sent 14th to 15th frequent reminder letters also.

If you see the Receipts & Payments A/c of my Card, from beginning to end then you can easily observe that, I have made already over and excess payment against my used amount through card. If you see my accounts I have already paid the excess amount which the money I have used through Card. If the bank waive my unjustified Interest and Late fees, then nothing outstanding will be pending against my card. Which amount I have used against my Credit Card, Out of that, I have made excess payment against my used amount.

Being a preferred customer for long time, I have changed my address, phone no etc honestly. As a result of which, their Recovery agency/goons have started to hassle me mentally and also my wife, not only that, they also used abusive and very rough language over phone and came to my office and insulted me in the front of everybody with very abusive and slang language and told me to make the payment immediately, otherwise they will attack me and my family with their team and told me that, they will thrash me in the front of my society and also told me that they will abolish me from my job. I am a very simple Private Company’s employee and simple middle class family. That incident happened for last 5 to 6 months. After completion of their mental and physical harassments, HDFC Bank has sent the Legal court notice to my address. I am a very simple and middle class family member and a very simple employee of a private company. Bank continuously pressurized me to take the credit card.

Trying to claim huge amount intentionally from customer, that is the practice of HDFC bank .Please tell me, Is it a Reputed Bank ???

My Credit Limit was Rs.1, 77, 000/- and I have paid Rs.2, 77, 371/-. If my intention was bad then, why I will make the payment for Rs.2, 77, 371/-. Their Intention is how to raise the Interest amount and late fees unnecessary and pressurize to customer mentally. Trying to claim huge amount intentionally from customer, that is the practice of HDFC bank . Is it a Reputed Bank ???

Due the tremendous mental harassment to me and my family, My wife is not well and she also feels very insecurity. Please help me and my family from HDFC Bank’s Credit Card nuisance.

NB: In spite of repeated request, the HDFC Credit Card Division were not Co-operating with me. Their actual Intention is bad and how to harass the customer mentally and physically in public place.

HDFC Bank — Pathetic Service from HDFC Bank

I would like to share my experience with HDFC bank whose services has deteriorated during the last few years. I have my debit card expired last month, hence they are supposed to send me the new card...they send me a message that my card is dispatched....after few days I got the message that it returned is not the first time that it returned back without any information or messages to me. I want to know if I could get the bank statements, credit card statements and other bank communication in the same address... why not the debit cards which are sent by courier...anyway I raised a complaint to phone banker and provided all the details as above... and I was assured that they will send the card again and also provide me a complaint number. However no action was taken and I was sent a message that the card has been dispatched to some bank and I need to provide pan card and address proof to collect it...

This is something ridiculous, a bank which was considered to be similar like any other nationalized bank has deteriorated a lot in last few years , some reasons to say this are as below

1) call the customer service number, 8-10 minutes on hold...and the line also gets disconnected frequently and we need to repeat the same thing again and again is this the way u provide service to customers ?

2) Dispatching the debit/Credit cards to proper address is your responsibility, if your courier company is not doing their job properly then you need to rectify it ....but nobody bothers and customers are asked to come to the branch to collect it for no reason ?

3) In today's highly emerging technological world, HDFC doesn't match with the standards provided by other banks if we compare the services (lots of manual work involved for small things also).

It will be better if members from HDFC takes responsibility, ownership and resolve these minor but important issues and provide customer satisfaction.
@ Pradeep : even i have lost my food plus card and there is no proper responce. May i know finally wt happened did u get any replacement or new card ?. please provide me solution how to get the new card..
I had lost my HDFC food plus card and applied for the it the same day. Inspite of repeated follow ups through emails, there was no response from HDFC.
When I called them the agent Mr Prasanth very rudely replied "i cannot do anything talk to my manager" .And top of that he proudly mentioned that "not only yours we have numerous pebding card cases".

I have never talked to any bank staff having such rude behavour with customers. I talkes to him for a few minutes and believe me I have never come across any person so rude irresponsible and so arrogant.I am not sure if these HDFC people train their employees to talk to customers.He disconnect my call twice while i was still talking and third time he put me on hold without evn saying anything.. There is no limit to the pathetic service they provide.

No response to email.No body talk on phone.Disgusting HDFC staff.

Only alternative is to swith to a different bank

man why u choose that hdfc food card, i also received that card recently, that is worst card ans worst service, my frnds i am requesting all, please don't take that card and their services, please i am facing still so many issues with the card, and services by HDFC .
HDFC Food card service is very bad. When we call the representative assigned to our corporate he is saying he is very busy getting so many calls and answers rudely. Not at all responsible, pathetic service.
