[Resolved]  HDFC Bank — Calls from HDFC Bangalore

I had a credit card with HDFC and I have used it only once ( Nov 2003 ) as per my Knowledge. The amount is 300+ . Its linked to my saving account and the payment should be automatically made. My savings account at that time has sufficient funds.

After 5 years they are now calling me and says I have to pay Rs 2000 and I have used my credit card for with drawing cash. ( Which I didn't do as per my knowledge ).

When I ask them to give complete details about the transactions etc, they are not ready to give. I told them if I can get full details then I can verify and then make the payment if there is a mistake from my side.

But the guy who call me , doesn't give proper details and asks to make payment and when I request more details he talks all nonsense. His tell his name as Nandu and he is calling from[protected]

Now a days he is abusing in the phone as well. This disturbs me a lot and upsets and is spoiling my mood. The call comes at different times disturbing my office work etc.

I need some advise as how to go about this issue. Please do the needful help.

From last three month i had not recieved any bill. i called them many times on 25864332 but it was showing that phone doesnot exist or i was disconnected. At last (before one month)contact them ,they told that they will send bill statement on my mail but not yet done . Yesterday they send me bill on my home address
with 350/- rupees due amt + (12.5 % serviece tax)
But they told me that thay wont apply any due on me as this was there mistake.
So will not pay any due amt . I tried to call them but no use.
So please give me any other comm medium to talk with u.
sent me statement by post or to my e-mail address
HDFC, known for its notorious agencies who recruit goons and for its pathetic unsympathetic, anguished customer care support. It took 2 years to even close my card.
HDFC was my first card which was offered by my recruiting company (may be they had a tieup with the bank) 5 years ago. Had only made a purchase of 7K in a year and was paying up the credit by 1500 rupeer per month and even after a year my due was Rs1500, everytime I call customer care they had a reason to explain. I finally cleared all the amount and decided to keep the card and never use it. After few months someone from the bank called up to verify my address details, further, they came to note my Electricity bill number and wanted a bill copy (which my mom gave thinking it was something important) it was late that I realised I was trapped and they were paying my electricity bills and were billing it on my credit card with 17% interest and other regular famous charges. 2 months passed, the BESCOM official came and cut powersupply stating the bill was never paid. I raised this issue with customer care who were hopeless asked me to contact the bank and give another copy of the bill paid. I paid the electicity bill, showed the copy to customer care, gave a letter to cancel the damn ECS in which I was tricked by a telecaller who wanted to achieve his target. they said it will be cancelled, mind you my bill was only 700Rupees then, month after month I got statements in my email telling my bescom bill is 750 for the month of april, may, june etc., respectively. after 15 months I recieve a call from HDFC super famous agency full of goons threatenin to take my life or pay 15000 money! RIDICULOUS, I went to police station, the money became 5000 rupees. caught the sicko frantic agent who was bugging me n my family with life threatening calls and finally made a settlement to pay off 5000 and close the card. After which the story still continued and I regret to say its still on! I broke the card to pieces and made another payment I've still not heard of anything from them. I own a SBI gold, Citi Gold, AMEX and a titanium card from ABN Amro and have never had any problems for the past 4 years. HDFC is the world's worst bank, MANAGEMENT IS NOT AWARE OF WHATS HAPPENING DOWN THE LINE and ARE NOT BOTHERED> REQUEST ALL YOU CONSUMERS TO RETURN THE CARDS AND CLOSE ACCOUNT WITH HDFC. I HAVE DONE SO WITHIN MY ORGANISATION AND HAVE MADE ATLEAST 300 CUSOTMERS CLOSETHE ACCOUNT. MY PURSUIT CONTINUES, I WILL BE HDFCs WORST NIGHTMARE, THIS TIME I GOT LAWYERS SUPPORTING AND I KNOW THE RIGHT PEOPLE TO CATCH WHEN REQUIRED HIGHLIGHT THE RIGHT LAW POINT.

I Sourav want to inform you that I want a credit card and I call many times to hdfc bank Domlur.But the are not sending any person in my place .My documents is ready and I want the credit card so that I can book the Air Tickets. But your people are not serious and they are not helping me.I fell very sad.Please you take a proper action .Send a person immediately.

I have submitted documents(copy of PAN CARD) for HDFC Credit Card to an agent 25 days before.
but i could not get yet. I have mention office address for delivery.
I have been waiting for that only.

HDFC is the work bank of all the banks. They know all ways to Cheat people. If we realy want to do some thing . We should start a community against HDFC so that maximum people will be aware of this bank and are not fooled by HDFC
I am an HDFC credit card holder from almost 2 years now... i have always tried to make my payments on regular basis ... but now i have chnaged the job and having lil prob is making the pymt on time but tht dos mean i wont make the pymts... but the calls from te collection office is horrible. they threaten and harass over the phone. please teach the people some phone ethics

HDFC Credit Card — All payments are compleate but his team call me

Cradit Card. i use this and give the payment . After 1 year i give the all payment and close the card. But,
now onwords his Recovery Agencyes call me again and again. his agency tems staff give mr threat and used withe verry rough langwage .

This is to inform you that my HDFC ATM card used in HDFC bank (Branch Code 549) Electronic City office to check my statement. But my ATM card did not come out from HDFC ATM. You are requested to make my ATM card invalid to avoid misuse.

Quik action in this regards shall be highly appreciated.
HDFC credit card customer service people are too much harassment and when we call they will just shout at us or they will disconnect call.
please do not take any card from this bank.
just for Rs106/- late payment by 3days, now they asking me pay Rs4000/-

HDFC Credit Card — Credit Card Still didn't get but payment bill come.

Sir,

I was a holder of HDFC credit card, but I lost my card hence blocked the same. also apply for the new card but still I didn't get card and now HDFC sends monthy bill since last 2 months.

Credit Card — after 5 years, bills have started coming

I am receiving SMS from SBI, as per follows" your statement dated 06 Jan-2010 has been despatched, total amount due of Rs685.98 or minimum amount of Rs239.86 is payable by 26thJan 2010-SBI Card"

I wish to state that 5 years back, without my asking an SBI card was received in our house, and after 2 years, on telephonic talk with their toll free number was told that my SBI card was cancelled and there is no due from me and in future there will be no bill sent to be.

Now again after 2 years, I started receiving the above SMS.

I want a compensation of Rs1,00,000

HDFC CREDIT CARD &ABN-AMBRO CREDIT CARD — Wrong charges on late fees & service charges

Dear Sir ,

I made all the payments in due dates and stoped the uses the credit card service .I reurned back the credit cards ; they did not send any statement or letter regarding due amount .After two and half years , they started telephone call and asking the dues amount ; the amount is generated by them like late fees , service charges etc. asking to made the payment of Rs.10000.00 approx. They also told that they can reduce the amount on request .

But I did not avail any credit card service but why I have to pay the amount ? on the other hand they are calling me over phone and want to harrash me .

You assistances are highly requested.
